My birthday dinner was absolutely amazing! Mario was very attentive and accommodating. The food was excellent. We had a party of 18 and not one single negative word was spoken about the food, service, or atmosphere (and we all know at least one person that always finds something 🤣)! Thank you. My 60th birthday was well spent and very much enjoyed!

Definitely a must. We'll be back sooner then later.

This review has very little to do with the food which was fair, but the nightmare of service (not table service, which was also fair, but management service). In very early August, I stopped by the restaurant and spoke to the owner, Aldo, as well as an entourage of his managers to inquire if within the next 2 weeks, I could "host" a crowd of between 5-7 cars that are part of the British marque car club I belong to, with the primary stipulation that we would be able to park all of the cars head-to-tail along the front strip, ie parallel to Rt 70E. Aldo assured me that it would not be a problem but to show up early on the day in question to ensure all is fine. On Tuesday, 13Aug, I showed up Aldo's at 12noon to let them know that was the day and we confirmed 6 cars that would include 9 diners. Once again, the management said no problem, took my cell nbr, and then recommended I also speak with the Valet out front to let them know also, which I did, and also gave them my phone nbr. THe manager also stated that they would ensure we all had a table with a good and clear view of our cars. At 615, all 6 cars rolled in at the same time, but there were cars in the exact spots where we needed to be. I was shocked after all of the Prep work that I had done well in advance of the venue. To make a very long story short(er), I spoke to the manager and they effectively said that there was nothing at this point they could do because the owners occupying the cars already there had their keys on them and were unwilling to move them. I told the manager that I considered this an "Epic Fail" on their part and that of the Caffe. She actually told me "See, I don't consider it an epic fail because the valet service is separate from us and not a part of the company". I responded with the (Obvious)..."Who hired them"? I told her that IMO, if they are out front representing you, then you are responsible for them. As it was obvious at this point, that we were going nowhere here, we just decided to take our seats, obviously withOUT a view of our cars, had a fair dinner plus drinks, and then prepared to pay and leave. At NO point did anyone offer us a discount, a free appetizer, a free drink, dessert, or even a cup of coffee. We left thereafter. I called 2 days later and asked to speak with Aldo, and was told he was not there. They asked what it was about and I told them, and the young lady on the phone asked "...if I would like to speak to a manager". I said that I wanted to speak with Aldo, and that the problem I had was largely ABOUT a manager, and the manager on duty at the time may very well be her. When she asked me what night it was, she came back to me and confirmed that indeed the manager on duty was the same woman. She then said she would give Aldo my phone nbr and message and have him call me. One week later, here we are and no call, and No surprise. Most problems such as this are driven from the top-down, so this manager obviously felt comfortable not offering us anything, because that is how she has obviously been trained. I am typically the diner who never complains, about anything short of egregious fails, which I consider this, and the worst part of all...They did not take any responsibility for it, nor offered any apology. Fail. Fail. Fail

Absolutely Love this when we are in Cherry Hill Area!!! The best, true Italian restaurant. True 5 Star dining.

Made a reservation at least 5 days in advance. It was a celebration night to congratulate my son on his last year of Med School. The hostess for whatever reason decided to sit us in the bar area. It was a Sunday evening at 6 PM. Many open tables. Like Fridays. And super loud. No white tablecloth treatment for. $400 bill. Food was very good and the waiter was very good. When I brought it to the attention of the hostess and her manager was there. He said. We will mark your ticket to not sit you at the bar next time. Next time i will go to Fridays.

Went here for my birthday on July 20th. Great atmosphere. Dope ambiance. Fantastic food and service. Definitely want to go here again.

I was there for the Sushi special night. I can tell they tried so hard, but I think it went a little too far. Maybe the chef tried to unite Italian and Japanese? Tuna was simple and delicious but the others they used too much citrus. If it was Yuzu, it would be different. The desserts were delicious 😋 The service was good. I wish they served green tea, not jasmine tea as "green tea". Overall, it was an interesting dinner for sure.

I found my server to be rude. We asked from the beginning to split the check. He said he could do it, but at the end of the service he gave us attitude for splitting the check. If you can't split the check say it up front, instead of getting angry at us. Made me resent even giving him a tip.

Having my daughters Bridal Shower. The food is amazing and service impeccable. Cassidy was the event planner and did an excellent job. She made me feel comfortable with my decisions and walked me through the entire process. She was very patient and kind. I would recommend them and look forward to planning my next party there!

A wonderful dinner for our 25th anniversary

Our waiter did an excellent job explaining the Italian dishes. The entire staff was attentive and yet gave us time to enjoy our food and conversation. Pappardelle Bolognese is one of my favorites, and their presentation was delicious.

A popular restaurant but I had never been. Food was delicious. However I’ve been to other restaurants that have better service. I had to ask for my water to be refilled. We were celebrating an event, and they didn’t do some of the little things that other restaurants do to make it feel special.

My 1st time here as a spontaneous and candid suggestion from Joseph to try their dessert . There was no wait or reservations needed . He chose valet parking and we were able to sit at the other side of the bar . We had 2 different servers and they were very cordial . The dessert chosen was very good ,light and refreshing . I'm lactose intolerant and it hasn't upset my stomach so far at all ,which is a (+). I really enjoyed my experience with Joseph the most ! 💕 Great conversation, and laughs. Even though the staff was ready to close down the bar/ kitchen for the night ,they let us stay there to chill until we were ready to go.

Best Italian Restaurant in south NJ

My fiancé and I wanted to do a quick, small getaway. So I made a reservation here and booked a hotel for a night. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great, and the customer service was outstanding. I had picked this place and I was hoping that I made a good choice, I did. We will definitely be returning for another meal. It was a great experience!

We’ve lived in the area for a while and just never made it to this restaurant. After trying for the first time, I’m now mad we didn’t go sooner! The restaurant is very nice with beautiful outdoor seating and plenty of space inside as well. Service was exceptional. Our server was Tom and he was wonderful! The food was top notch. This is the perfect spot for a date night or special occasion. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I dined tonight for my graduation dinner and our 3.5 year anniversary. Our server Luis, was great. This review has nothing to do with his service but more so the overall experience from Cafe. We have been here many times, enjoying it thoroughly and always wanting to come back. Tonight I ordered the Fantasia da Mare and it was off. All of the seafood was fishy, and the shrimp were completely over cooked. My boyfriend ordered steak medium rare, and it was a bit over that. The issue has more to do with the kitchen than anything else. We let Luis know about our meal and he let the manager know. He also offered me something else along with taking my wine off the check. However, to have a $50 meal charged when I had hardly eaten three bites, and asked for it to be taken from the table, left a poor taste in our mouths. This was not because of him I am sure, most likely because of management. But it was a bit disappointing. Not sure we will be back.

Big round of applause and appreciation to Caffe Aldo Lamberti. We had plans to visit Longwood Garden for Mothers Day, but with the rain, we had to make other last-minute arrangements. Called Caffe Aldo at 1030, seeing if they had tables available for 10. Not only did they make space for us, but they reshuffled their seating area to accommodate us. They saved Mothers Day for us. Excellent service, incredible food, and a warm, relaxing atmosphere. Thank you, Caffe Aldo Lamberti, for making sure my wife and kids had an amazing Mothers Day.

Let me tell you the food is darn good, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is inviting. They have e excellent wines and drinks available. If you leave here hungery it's mostly likely your own fault.

I had the best experience at this lovely establishment. It was a birthday celebration for my girlfriend, And man did we fine dine. The seafood tower, and the Wine to compliment our food was Superb. And our Host. A1

I was there twice in one week. First time, the food was delicious. Second time it was awful. I have dietary restrictions and need dishes without meat and dairy. During my first visit I was offered a risotto that was delicious. I returned for this dish but was only offered a plain pasta with a few veggies tossed in which was so bland I didn't finish it. This place needs consistency. Also, the valet parking is pretentious and adds to the cost of your visit. It's complimentary, but, of course, you have to tip.

This was my first visit and it was totally enjoyable. The seafood menu has many choices and everything is fresh and delicious. The setting is lovely and inviting. The hours are also convenient as I enjoyed being there early. The staff is pleasant and informative.

This is the 3rd time in about 20 years that I've been to Lamberti's. I don't know why I keep giving this place second chances. If it was possible to give a negative rating, I would, especially after today's experience. Before I get into the details, some caveats. I'm not necessarily in the best mental space but then 🤷 you'll see the details. I've experienced food and service on the their spectrum, from most disturbing and disgusting places one can visit to the Michelin star and celebrity chefv types of establishment. Rarely have I ever felt like this. In short, if I would have taken the money we paid, shoved it in my mouth and set it on fire, I may have enjoyed it more. Also Lamberti is a restaurant with an attitude and aplomb of a place with three Michelin stars, prices to match at least one of those and the quality of food and service that would make the the worst Old Country Buffet blush. We made reservations to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary and my dad's 77th birthday. Deep down I knew that what will get will be excessively overpriced but my mom would love it. Well, I didn't realize just how bad it can get. I'm not going to hold the restaurant responsible for the neverending construction on route 70 that led to my 12 mine drive being almost 45 minutes long, I will say that whoever is in charge of signage, as well as training and managing the valet team must be fired immediately. My car is waiting for repairs, so I was driving my mother in laws old Ford. I followed the signs entering from Brace road and was a bit confused with the with the sign telling me to turn left before the building, knowing that the traffic in front is one way but well, the sign must be right. Well, sign was wrong, and I did walk around to make sure, so I couldn't turn left. The vallet, driving another car, told me that I need to read the signs and go around the building (again the sign says to turn before the building) and that I can't read the signs and he can't help me other wise. It was said it a very condescending tone, appropriate considering the car I was driving. If this was the only bump on the proverbial road, I may have not written this but... The rest of the night was no better.. The wait service continuously tried to instuct us how to order and how to do things. Which wouldn't be all that bad if the food was actually decent and the wait didn't take half the length of the extended version of the LOTR. I really want to write the rest out but it's late, I'm tired and I'm sorry bullet points is all I have left in me: Beautiful and delicious looking shrimp that was severely overcooked to the point of rubber and badly under seasoned. Similarly under seasoned and absolutely bland oysters that were meaty and succulent but ended up wasted. Actually well cooked crab that could have been a highlight was oversalted. My risotto... hmmm I am struggling here because it was anything but a risotto, more like mushy rice with bland steamed mushrooms that I actually sent back as it was unedable. The wait for the wait for the main course was just under an hour, clocking at 52 minutes, which wouldn't have been so bad if we would have been asked if anyone wanted anything else while we waited for over 20 after the appetizer plates were cleared (and we've been done with those way before). So yeah...

The service is excellent! Your table will have a team of servers. It seems that the wait for anything is very short

We visited here for the 1st time and had a great experience 4.13.24 Marco our waiter was very nice and took his time to explain the menu and the Chef Specials. We ended the night with a great desert for our anniversary. Would definitely come back.

This was our 3rd time at Lambertis. The food was top notch and service was great! Only complaints would be that my filet was the wrong temperature and I don't like sending my food back, but I did as they insisted. I also did not like that there were about 5 servers standing along the back wall of the restaruant. It made our date night feel a lot less private. In my opinion, the establishment should have another area for their staff to stand in their downtime. Overall, this is a great spot!

Purchased the same scallops but starting to wonder if their real scallops tasty as always but seem gelled 10$ each I purchased 5 didn’t want the entree today

Spectacular! The food, the service and the atmosphere. This was my first time but definitely not my last. Everything was perfect!

It's one of the better restaurants to visit without having to go to Philly. Service is great. Some dishes like raw oysters or short rib pasta were great. An eggplant appetizer was so so. Ceasar salad was so so. There was a miniscule amount of parmesan in the salad. The dressing was O.k. The The bread that is served along with the dishes is O.k. the key lime pie was very good. Coffee was O.k.

Outstanding, we go visit at least once a month and they never disappoint!

The food was good but it was not GREAT!! It is very pricey for regularity. Also just a side note ordered a margarita and it came back looking very light. They put CLUB SODA AND SOUR MIX in the margaritas!! Appetizers and bread and olives were very tasty but my main course of papperadelli was not very good. Husband's seafood pasta was delicious!!😋 . Had the lemon cake and it was really good.

What can I tell you. This is a fantastic restaurant. It is a privilege to have it as one our local restaurants. Always a top choice when considering where to dine.

Just celebrated my husband's God mother's 87th birthday. We had a wonderful time. However, it seemed like they were a little overwhelmed and maybe short staffed. Things didn't get executed properly with clearing of tables and making sure that entrees were correct. However, Aldo Lamberti continues to be a Mainstay in this area, and I would always suggest it for fine Italian dining in Cherry Hill, NJ.

I was not as impressed with the food as the price said I should have been. I know that's not the point, but $32 for some fettuccine Alfredo with chicken should have been amazing... It was good, but so is Olive Garden or any other place. Nothing stood out to me. I will try something more specialized to this place the next time we go.

We were there for Valentine’s Day and if I could give the service 10 stars I would. Jose was very attentive and the timing was on point. We go to a lot of high end resturants and i feel like service isn’t what is used to be. The food was amazing as well. This will definitely be our number one spot from now on.

We have gone to Caffe Aldo Lamberti frequently in the past and it is usually very good, but unfortunately it wasn’t last night. It was my fiancée’s birthday which I wrote and choose as an option when booking the reservation and they didn’t mention it at all, which was disappointing. Our server, Tom, was the highlight of our dinner! He was so friendly and made funny jokes the whole time, he really made a positive impression on our experience! We started with their winter caprese salad. The tomatoes and burrata were extremely salty. Their bread basket and pizza bread were good as always. For entrees, we had the grouper catch of the day and the salmon. My salmon was farm raised and had no flavor. The leeks on top were the one thing that made the salmon have some sort of taste. My fiancée had the special grouper. He said the sauce was good, but again the fish didn’t have much of a taste. Unfortunately it seemed like an off night for their food there and with their steep pricing you would expect better. I was also surprised that they began charging a 3% credit card fee as well here.

I haven't been but I dropped off a couple clients here and they loved it so I highly recommend it. Give them a try

Went for a friend's 40th birthday. If you're really hungry, then don't eat here because you will leave hungry. Although the food is very good, the portions are very small and highly overpriced. I personally wouldn't go there again unless someone else is paying. Although I would likely still not go.

I will start this by saying I have never had a bad experience at a Lamberti restaurant. Service is phenomenal and the atmosphere is outstanding. I must say the food here is probably my least favorite of all the Lamberti restaurants that I have been to. It's not bad! It's just not great, especially for the price. It's just ok. I would say take a trip across the bridge and check out Positano Coast, which is also a Lamberti restaurant, and their food is crazy good!

Went for a birthday dinner and food was delicious, large portions and good selection.

Excellent food and service! Free valet parking to start. Good selection of appetizers. The crabcake is a must. Too many to list but our party of ten had our own room. Of waiter was very attentive and checked on us frequently. They also have a staff that quickly checked on water and removed plates. Dessert was excellent too. Will definitely return again.

Extraordinary service, food was exquisite and the restaurant was so beautiful. This is the perfect place for a special occasion. I went for my mother's birthday and they made it so special for her. I recommend the crab cake and the shrimp cocktail.

Loved the complementary valet. Inside was very loud/ crowded. Waited forever for the main course. The manager comped a drink because of the wait. My food was cold. The taste was there. But the service, eh? For an upscale restaurant. I was not impressed. It was my birthday, tho so I made the best of the experience. The dessert was delicious ! Might go back just for that.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday. Our waiter, Douglas, made us feel comfortable while he welcomed us and offered the choices during tonight’s dinner. He was constantly, though not overly, checking about our dining pleasure. Five stars all around.

Magnifico, esquisito, fantastico! Once you've had the extreme pleasure of dining here, you will also be uttering Italian words and phrases of true elation. The presentation of the food is a sight to behold, but the aroma draws you into wanting to devour everything in sight. Fight the urge and savor each and every bite slowly. The joy is overwhelming! After a wonderful meal, we get to stroll thru a lovely garden to the parking lot. Millè graziè per la serata speciale.

Always a wonderful experience. They had a special New Year's Eve menu that was delicious. Clemente was a knowledgeable and attentive waiter and his team was terrific.

Loved the downstairs private room in a wine cellar w a huge square table for 12. It was our Christmas Chennai and I felt like we were tge Mafia Mama's having a Don Cordelleone style meeting. Great food, reasonably priced. $16 for a glass of house wine is a bit steep...more expensive then martinis. Still a great ambiance and jot rushed. Our server was fabulous.

While the restaurant isn’t in a fancy area by any stretch and you might even drive by it not knowing it’s there if you’re unfamiliar with the area, this place is beyond amazing. The service? Impeccable. The food? Excellent! The atmosphere? Upscale without being pretentious. My one and only visit was for a retirement party in the private dining room. They were beyond attentive to the group and our party was excellent. While I don’t know that I’ll make it to Cherry Hill or the Philly area again, if I ever do I will be sure to stop again!

And while mistakes happen... the condescending remarks made by this individual were completely disrespectful and unwarranted! Let me be clear my review is based on this isolated experience! And it's quite unfortunate! I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent dining experience at your establishment. As I am a frequent customer - (3x a week at least) While I have previously enjoyed the upscale atmosphere and culinary offerings, my most recent visit left a lasting negative impression. To which my return is questionable! Unfortunately, the evening was marred by the condescending and rude behavior exhibited by Rita, who, to my surprise, is also the owner's daughter. This individual's lack of professionalism and unwarranted attitude significantly diminished the overall enjoyment of the evening. Her condescending remarks "well you should have said something sooner" and " well I see you enjoyed your meal" was beyond disgusting! Facts: 1. Something was said earlier- to the appropriate recipient- the waiter 2. What was ordered was not delivered- which is why there were left overs! More than half! It appears that escalating resumes due to family ties doesn't always benefit an establishment! The perception amongst Ritas self-entitlement " Ohh I know Aldo very well”she said chuckling! (I would hope she knew her father well) as she stated this after I informed her that this was the first time I had ever had an issue with a bill and that I had been a loyal customer since knowing her father from his miami restaurant! Oh and did I mention this was done at the bar in front of other patrons? Nevertheless, it's important to state that her behavior has grave effects on a team's morale and collaborative efforts. It's crucial to foster an atmosphere of equality and mutual respect. I'm quite disappointed! As a patron who has frequented your restaurant in the past, I had expected a level of courtesy and respect that was regrettably absent during my last visit. Ritas demeanor not only detracted from the dining experience but also reflected poorly on the establishment as a whole. Beyond disturbing and embarrassing! I believe constructive feedback is crucial for improvement, and I hope that this message serves as an opportunity for your team to address the issues at hand. High standards of service and customer satisfaction have been defining features of your restaurant, and it is disheartening to witness a departure from these principles. I sincerely hope that steps will be taken to address this matter and ensure that future patrons are spared from such unpleasantries. I value the reputation of lambertis and trust that corrective measures will be implemented to maintain the upscale and welcoming environment that your establishment has been known for.
