Food was great. You will not be disappointed but the waitress was terrible we waited 12 min and nobody came to our table to give us a menu drink or anything. then a couple sits next to us and she runs over there to take there order. I never felt lot chop liver as I did that day. Even gave a great tip 30 percent but that didn’t even help.she was the heavy set girl.. stay away from her. Maybe She just didn’t like me I guess. She needs to get that attitude adjusted. But that won’t stop us from going back. Owner is awesome & food was great. & all the other waitresses were so happy and all smiles

My wife and I were out exploring today and stopped in for lunch. Wow what a cutie dinner. The staff was super courteous and nice, honestly they made us fell like family. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and history. The food was good and the restaurant was clean and inviting. We had the catfish sandwich and the grilled chicken sandwich and they were happy to put whatever we wanted on them. It was way better than we expected and much much better than I could have made at home. Thank y'all we'll be back

While staying in Culleoka, we were looking for something to eat and stumbled on this gem. If you are anywhere in this neck of the woods, I would highly recommend this restaurant. A great meal, service, and lots of nostalgia. It's nestled back in a beautiful location, with a rich history of the ways it's served this community through more than a century. Get the ribeye!

Such a welcoming place! You feel like you’re eating from Grandma’s kitchen and at her table. The owner/cook makes sure everyone is satisfied and full before they leave! Prices are especially low considering how much food you get!

This was a find for sure. It was like having dinner with family.

This was our second time here and our last. We waited over an hour for our food! Once the food arrived two of our meals were luke warm. Asked twice for butter for potato and never received it. Asked for ranch and got tartar sauce. Asked for a Coke and never received it. Maybe if you go during not dinner time it's better.

Great food and wonderful service. First time visit and I was impressed with the home cooking. I ordered the country ham. Huge ham portion that covered the whole plate. I chose new potatoes and green beans. Also received a roll with my dinner. Everything I ordered was perfect. I also ordered peach cobbler with ice cream. Perfect Please go and take your family to the best restaurant. Thank you to the staff for all your hard work.

Eat one Sunday, after 1pm. It was crowded, the food looked great, however, the steak was cold, over 1/2 was fat. The baked potato had been there a while, it was brown. The sweet potato casserole was great! I guess we will try it again. Just to be fair.

Absolutely incredible little place! Food is great, the building has a rich history, and John is so pleasant to chat with. We were able to watch them cut the steak fresh right when they opened. I don’t think you could get a better steak in 100 miles. Big portions and cozy atmosphere, we will definitely be back!

This place was so cool! The steak was AMAZING and HUGE! The grill cook who we assume is the owner was super friendly and knowledgeable of the local history, and our waitress was super sweet! Will definitely recommend this as a must stop.

This place was great... I highly suggest it to everyone... it's def off the beaten path but that's what makes it so awesome...

Disappointed to see the prices raised again on the steak. Nothing else has raised so that makes it hard to believe it’s just inflation. Nearly 30% increase in price since the new ownership. Sad to say we won’t be making the hour drive for a “great deal” any more.

Always a GREAT meal, wonderful service and very friendly folks. We love to take out of state guests here because they’re always impressed as well!

The stake is absolutely amazing and it's huge me and my wife split it, it's as big as the whole plate. The owner is very friendly and also the cook. Very reasonable pricing as well. Definitely a good competitor of Texas roadhouse when it comes to the stake.

Very nice staff. Accommodated all our needs. Greeted with a smile by waitress. Food is incredibly delicious including desert. Pictures on wall are about the history of the building. Will be back for this wonderful experience!

This is a local favorite with delicious food. The atmosphere is very relaxed and country. It isn't fancy, but just down home great. The staff is super friendly and the food is great!

Such a fun place. Steaks aren’t Kane Prime quality but love their marinate and the portion size is big enough to get your moneys worth. Great people, fun atmosphere!

We stumbled upon Campbell Station by accident while enjoying the scenic back roads. I knew we had to make the stop. We were greeted warmly and John was quick to welcome us. We only had the apple hand pies but they were delicious. We can't wait to visit again and have supper.

We drove up to Tennessee from Huntsville to check out The Campbell Station, after finding it online. Just 4 friends who like to find new places to have lunch, and the drive to these places are always a plus too. Everything was good, great little place that was an old country store in the past. Our server was a treat and the service was very good. The football talk, of course, Tenn/Ala, was fun. My only criticism is the breading on the catfish was hard and crunchy, and the same with the hush puppies, hard, dry, too crunchy. There was no cornbread for the meat and veg plates, only a store bought roll was served. We expected a little more home cooking with this old country store type atmosphere. Especially with it being truly out in the country, with winding roads and farms. The vegetables were fresh and good, the hamburger steak was good and a generous serving, but the brown gravy was store bought like the rolls. It was a great mini-road trip and we might go back, but it would be wonderful if from scratch, home cooking, and cornbread would become a part of this old place.😁

This is one of the places my children took me for my birthday dinner. We went Saturday night and had no problems getting in and being seated. Very enjoyable experience.

Absolutely amazing food! We had the rib-eye (cooked to perfection), hamburger steaks (with gravy, which is incredible), delicious green beans and some appetizers. I highly recommend stopping in for some out of this world food.

Still not sure about all the hype of this place we spent 60 dollars on supper to take home and got almost home several miles away and they called and forgot to put my youngest child’s order in there so we had to turn around and go all the way back to get his order so I was passed about that.not to mention the salads we got the lettuce was brown and soggy so sad to say went there once and will not be back

This is a magnificent little hidden gem in Culleoka / Lynnville. Food is wonderful, staff and owner are better than sliced bread (LOL). I absolutely cannot wait to be able to visit them again. You WILL NOT be disappointed. WARNING: there is not any internet or cell signal there - you are that far out!! But you will love it - I promise!!!

After hearing about this place, we decided to check it out and so glad we did. Ordered 2 ribeyes with sides and mozzarella sticks to start. Food came out quickly and was delicious!!! The steak was tender, had great seasoning, cooked perfectly and was as big as the plate. We each got the creamed corn, then green beans and a baked potato were the other sides. They didn’t disappoint either. On the way out, we got a fried apple pie to go. It might be a little drive for some to get to this little gem, but well worth it. We will be back!!

We just happened to stumble across this wonderful place on a drive to Lynnville. Soda Pop’s was closed (which was why we were visiting the area) and one of the locals suggested Campbell Station. So glad they did! If you’re a nostalgic person who enjoys good home cooked food, this place is a must. The cream corn and green beans were spot on and reminded me of dinners I enjoyed at my grandparents’ home over 50 years ago. Can’t wait to go back and try the awesome looking ribeye!

This place is awesome!! If you are ever visiting Lynnville, Tennessee you absolutely should try this resteraunt.

This is the place to get a good ribeye steak!! The also offer other foods, but why bother when you can get a big ol' ribeye steak. They offer seasonal sides, along with year round sides, light fries, white beans, bakes potatoes, salad, and various other belly filling goodies. And they got desserts ready to go as well, whether you want the at the table or to take home with ya. The have fried pies to die for, apple, chocolate, and other familiar flavors. Fried Catfish, fried frog legs, and various other occasional specials grace a board by the door. You can also find Campbell Station Restaurant on facebook to see what's happening on a given weekend as well. If you find you need a place for a plate of something good to eat on Sunday, they might even have something to suit your fancy as well. They have been open from 10am-3pm for a while now.

This place has great steaks! It’s super cozy and has lots of character. Check out this place for a unique small town dining experience… you’ll fall in love with the atmosphere and wonderful people! Try the turnip greens soup if you’re lucky enough to visit when it’s available.

Great little restaurant out in the middle of nowhere!!! I ordered the hamburger and fries...both were delicious!! Fried chocolate pie and ice cream for dessert!! Yum!! Amazing service, owner is friendly and treats you like family. We will 100% make the hour drive to go back again!!! Not a lot of parking, so just pull into the grass and enjoy your visit! I wanted to take my precious Moma out to a very unusual, off the beaten path place to celebrate my Daddy & Moma's love story & what would've been their 55th Wedding Anniversary. My Daddy will be gone 17 years this May 29th, he died on Memorial Day. He asked me if he died before Moma did, would I please take her out, pick or buy her flowers, have her cards, gifts of whatever I could afford size, do special things for her for him for anniversaries, birthdays, special occasions, holidays, milestones events, etc. I told him of course I would! I met a wonderful lady on an Amtrak train coming back to Tennessee from Louisiana & we become fast friends. She told me about Campbell Station Country Store & Restaurant. She went on to tell me that she & her husband would drive down from Nashville to celebrate their anniversary & special occasions & she told me that Campbell Station Country Store & Restaurant had "the BEST ribeye of all!" For this year's celebration of my Daddy & Moma's Wedding Anniversary, I decided to give Campbell Station Country Store & Restaurant a try. Such a marvelous decision!!! We traveled down the most, gorgeous backroads, way back into the beautiful countryside of our beloved homestate of Tennessee, we had such a wonderful time slowly making our way to Campbell Station Country Store & Restaurant. We were absolutely blown away with this incredibly, unique treasure, a rare gem of a place indeed! The fine folks of this historical establishment treated us as if we'd grown up together & were lifelong, best friends! We were made to feel so special & truly valued! We were made to feel right at home! Our server Savanna was beyond precious, she was so caring, most attentive, quite accommodating, & such a pleasure to have to take care of us! She did such a fantastic job! The atmosphere inside this exquisite relic was above & beyond all expectations! All of the patrons/other customers were really friendly, just so warm & welcoming! We were quite happy to learn about the history of this marvelous place from the owner himself. Another precious soul! Customer service from everyone there & their terrific food surpasses all other places!!! My Moma & I decided on the ribeye steaks & I must say what fabulous choices we made! It was by far the BIGGEST STEAK we've ever been served! It was superbly seasoned & cooked to perfection! My Moma will be 80 in June & she said it was the BEST STEAK she's ever had in her entire life! She's had & ate a lot of steaks in her 80 years! I wholeheartedly agreed with her, it's the BEST STEAK that I've ever had too. Their side dishes are so scrumptious too. The seasonings & down home, Southern cooking was off the charts!!! Their sweet & unsweetened tea were both absolutely delicious! We were too full for dessert, but looking at them made our mouths water! Maybe next time! Lord willing, there will be a next time for sure!!! Sitting on the front porch was a real delight! The surroundings were fabulous! Every thing about Campbell Station Country Store & Restaurant was truly phenomenal!!! We had the most, wonderful experience & extremely thrilled being there!

I know it seems like it is to small and far out. But let me confirm this place is so amazing and definitely worth the wait in line. The steak was best steak I have had in many years. And the entire staff were totally amazing and very nice. Hailey was our waitress and she was amazing as well. I would so recommend this place.

Stumbled across this place, and I am glad I did. It’s a dead tie for which is better: the service or the food. The steak is cut there at the restaurant and done to perfection. If you order medium rare (the right answer), you won’t be disappointed at the “doneness”. The vegetables have perfect texture and are seasoned just so. Service is great. You’re treated like family. Go early if you want a seat.

We drove over an hour to try it out after hearing about it through some friends. Owner was so personable, it was great. We had decided to come back before the food even arrived, and then we were blown away. Ribeye is as good as you'll find anywhere. Just go try it out, trust me.

The food is cooked to perfection very delightful clean very friendly workers. Wonderful place for children, families, get togethers, or to just sit down and have some great American southern cooked foods. I recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone. Spectacular food and friendly service and wonderful cooks who definitely know the southern cookin way. I had the catfish dinner with the baked potato and green beans all Spectacular and cooked perfectly southern awesome and very delicious. Of course the reason reason for my cost listed below we had more than just me eating it's not expensive at all and high quality food.

Sweet people, cozy and homey atmosphere and amazing food!! The owners/workers were super down-to-earth and friendly. Our group arrived a little later than planned, but we never felt rushed or bothersome and we were still treated so kindly! Their prices are amazingly affordable. You cannot go anywhere else and find a steak like the ones they serve for their price. I ordered the 2 piece catfish fillet meal and it was the best catfish I’ve ever eaten anywhere! also, these folks KNOW how to make some bomb sweet tea! Campbell’s Station is a great representation of southern hospitality and good country cookin’. We cannot wait to go back!
