First time, wasn’t too bad. But the steamed broccoli was good. Nice and quiet.

The food is greasy and not that good anymore and they need to do some upkeep and cleaning on the restaurant itself

We use to have good fish here, we thought it was still like it, we stop by here after a trip from Salt Lake .

I love captain ds but sometimes I almost feel like telling some of the workers they should actually look clean during there shift like who let's this happen. Very unpleasant. One girl was touching her face and hair and had dirty jacket on then touching orders I wasn't very pleased with that.

Hot and fresh food. Delicious. Supreme platter was awesome. Eat fish, stuffed crab was so delicious

I was trying to eat at captain Ds with my family on a Wednesday evening at 8pm and the restaurant is closed but the hours online says they're supposed to be open till 10pm and the door operating hours are different too, very disappointed. Hours need to be updated in align across the board

Fries were old, fish was cold, young man at the drive thru was friendly, it took a long time to get our meal!

The food is pretty good. The building could be touched up. But it doesn't take away from the food, especially the green beans.

Ordered to go, they put it on a tray for dine in, got home fries were old and cold Cole slaw had funky taste. Pretty disappointing!!! Usually great place to get fish but tonight was awful 😖 😱

I’m a big fan of captain ds but last night wasn’t a pleasant experience:/ The only thing I ordered was two lobster rolls and that’s it..everything looked normal how they should but I’m thinking there was some cross contamination or maybe the meat was bad I’m not to sure..I’ve been sick all night and morning ..don’t wanna get into too much detail about that..hope they fix the issues but I don’t think I’ll be going back for a while :/ you broke my heart D’s ..😕🥺😷💩🤮

Fish quality has gone down. I recommend you go down the road to Applebee's if you want better quality fish n chips

The staff was awesome and friendly.

We enjoy eating at Captain D and will eat there time to time. It seems like lately the integrity of customer service has been terrible. In the last month we stopped in twice and both times, the food was bad. We got home and the corn was half brown like it sat there for a while and the kernels were like teeth molars. The cole slaw was terrible, it had a yucky taste to it. The tarter sauce had a terrible smell to it. We pay money to eat your food only to get terrible food. I tried calling and calling with no answer to report the awful food.

They haven't upkept their building. But don't let that scare you. It's delicious. Fish is perfectly crispy. Kids meals our picky eaters loved. (Mac n cheese and chicken strips with hush puppies and fries). Staff is all very friendly and helpful.

Placed my order at 11:43am it's now 12:35 pm and I have still not received my order .

Always stop here when I come thru to visit parents and on my way out. Never fails to disappoint. Always spot on, sadly, only one closest to me in NM. Jumbo fish platter and sweet tea with extra lemon hits the spot. I've been coming here for 2 decades. Can't say that to other locations. Girl, who takes my order, is always nice and friendly. Great atmosphere.

It really hurts my heart to leave a review like this as Captain D’s has been one of my favorite places to eat since I was a kid…but today’s lunch was disappointing and inedible! The shrimp was anyway. My husband and I ordered 2 of the Double Dozen shrimp & 2pc fish meals and a 2pc fish meal to-go, and when we got home and ready to eat the shrimp was fried dark, dark brown, and was like chewing on little rubber bands. They could not be eaten and had to be thrown out. French fries and hush puppies were hard as bricks. The fish wasn’t bad, we could at least eat that, but $41 is a lot of $$, between the 3 of us to only be able to eat 6 mediocre size pieces of fish out of our entire order. i WISH this was the 1st and only time this restaurant has turned out this level of crappiness, but sadly it is not, and it is time it’s brought to management’s attention. And I am sorry to say, Captain D’s, you lost 2 pretty regular customers today.

I got slices of lemon this time! Yay! I go there mayb once a month and evry single time they ALWAYS forget the lemon. I ask at the menu and at the window. This time I got it 😁😁😁

The place is very unsanitary, when it rains, it leaks, my fish almost got back to life but too bad the fish wasnt fresh, theres cockroaches there, even saw a rat before.

My husband and i usually have a tasty meal here. The reason for the 1 star is this is the second time in a row (eat here 1-2 x per month) that our meal was not good. The fish wasnt crispy, the fries were definitely not fresh. The service was exceptionally friendly and speedy as usual. We went at 2:30 on a Thursday. I think we will give this place a pause on our "dining out" rotation.

I would have given Capt D's a 5 star, but the fish was a little greasy. Fish had very good flavor . Would I go again , you bet. Clean fast food restaurant.

Been going here since I was a kid. Tried their lobster bites and they are GREAT! The cooks and staff here are great even though they are short on employees. Keep it up PLEASE, can't lose this place.

Everyone was so friendly!!! Wait time was minimal. My order was correct and the food was good. I would, however, suggest a new drive-thru speaker. It was so bad, it was comical. It was loud and garbled just like the ones in movie and comedy skits.

I always get the 3 pc fish with fries and cole slaw. All of it is delicious! Right now it's drive thru only but it's good to picnic in your car in the parking lot =).

Have been there 3 times in the last 2 - 3 weeks. All 3 times ordered the loaded baked potato and all 3 times there was no sour cream even though it is pictured that way. The fish was good but was very disappointed with the loaded baked potato being falsely advertised.

This Captain D's does a fairly good job of getting orders out on time. I always enjoy Captain D's approach to fast food fried fish. This location in particular does have a drive-thru but it is not obvious from the roadway. You have to drive around to the back of the restaurant for the ordering window.

85% of the order was correct! Good improvement. The food was good and greasy, as expected. Wait was short.

Everything was cooked to order. Food was delicious. They also were on their game for hooking us up on all condiments.

The platter was delicious and they hooked up all the condiments for the different types of seafoods/fries! Great service. I had a great visit!

Great food and service, better than LJS BUT Capt Ds Corporate office should upgrade the facility. Been needing exterior paint job for years and the drive through speaker has been out of order for at least a year now. Are they going to close this location and that's the reason why they haven't upgraded the place? If so that would be a bad idea for this area because then we would HAVE to go to LJS and they don't have a drive thru. Plus their food isn't as good.

Food is GOOD but concerned why some workers aren't wearing their mask.

Captain D's is an older restaurant compared to the newer Golden Corral next door. And the latter's appearance really makes the seafood restaurant look like it's on it's last legs. The paint on the metal roof is almost all peeled off and the exterior overall needs a serious spruce up. The inside looks more worn out than a national chain should. But dont let the "scenery" turn you away. The food was pretty good for my first time at a Captain D's, and you do get quite a bit of food for the price -- a better value than the LJ Silvers a few miles north. The service was friendly and they do offer a dine-in AYCE fish deal (I guess 7-days-a-week) for a shade under 9 dollars. I got my food to-go as I was en route to the hotel for the night. They could probably bring in more business if they could do a remodeling especially on the outside. That needs to be a priority.

Have not been here in years, as I live out of town. It's as good as I remember. Had the fish🐠🐟. It tasted great. The batter wasn't too thick or salty like other places. I recommend to try this place. Great customer service. Had a good experience here today.

The drive thru is pretty much hit or miss, but the food is about as consistent as you'd come to expect from the Farmington location.

Their lobster rolls are really really good

The food was good, but we had to wait an hour (could be the fact that they were training new cooks?)!!!! The staff gave us some free fried okra for our wait though, that was nice! The restaurant itself, especially the outside, could definitely use some cosmetic updates!!! The drive through speaker was broke, the signs looked outdated and the parking lot could use some repaving. Overall-food was tasty but the building needs help.

Only long time Farmington locals would know that the best Ice Tea in town comes from this Captain D's. Pair that with a three piece fish special and you've got a treat on your hands.

Best seafood joint thats affordable. Love the fish sandwich. Try the sampler.
