I had Fettuccine Alfredo with Shrimp & Mushrooms. Delicious and a generous serving. My husband had a large Calzone with 4 meats, 2 cheeses, peppers & onions. He loved it. I would have given 5 stars, except there were cloth tablecloths, and they were damp. I noticed immediately and went to another table, also damp. The 3rd table was less damp. I was told that it was because they wipe the tablecloths with damp cloths when they clear the tables. That doesn't seem very sanitary to me. I think they should change the tablecloths each time or use tablecloths with a nonporus surface. Otherwise, at the end of the day, that absorbent cloth will still have remnants of every fluid anyone has spilled or dripped on it. All that damp cloth will do is remove surface crumbs & leave it DAMP. That feels icky! Also, the ladies room is not equipped for handicapped people. However, on a positive note, we both loved the art!

The food was overrated for the cost. The plate was hot, but the food was cold, and the service was terrible. We arrived at 5:30 and got our food at 6:50 for a party of 2. The waitress was not friendly at all and did not do her job very well. I do not recommend eating here.

Salad was awful, and after waiting from 5:52-7:02, we never got our order. When we walked to the counter, one of the wait staff was coming from the kitchen. It was then that we saw two "cooks" standing there conversing. We explained that we were not willing to wait any longer and were told 35 minutes earlier that the food was coming out. We were apologized to, for the third time, and told "there is no charge for the salad and drinks. We have no idea what's going on with our cooks. " The worst restaurant experience EVER!

Great atmosphere. They have a water fountain. Service was great. The waitress was fast,friendly, and attentive. The garlic knots were the star. I ordered the tortellini Carmella and it was good and my dining partner had spaghetti and meatballs, they did not like it and didn't eat much. Complaints were they needed to get new high chairs they had 3 and they were all broken in some way. They also were out of tea which isn't a big deal I understand not having tea bags. I most likely wouldn't go back only because I love Olive Garden and would rather go there for any pasta dishes.

Our Bible study group meet there. Only when they brought food were we disturbed. Was quite,subdued,very peaceful. Friendly service and wonderful food

Food was good as always but they forgot my gusto sauce with my big leboski and that sauce makes the dish so I cant give full stars this round

Takes forever to get your food. Almost a hour and still no food .after they said it be 2 minutes like 10 minutes ago

As a party of six. We waited two hours for our food. They came out and told us that they burned one of the orders we accepted a substitute because they didn’t have another to replace it with. My wife couldn’t eat there substitute. They seam to have a very bad attitude when they were to blame for all the problems. They seen fit to tip their self , the waitress done a great job. This was a great place to eat but not anymore.

The food comes to the table freshly made and hot. I had the fettuccini Alfredo which was delicious. The service is great and I loved the big dining area with the water fountain. I highly recommend if you are in Grenada.

Was VERY happy with my pasta Totalini de la Carmella. Didn't sit heavy with me at all and had good flavor. I added chicken and was just expecting a little more but it was still satisfying. Our waitress was on her A game too she was working very hard!

Five of us aged between 19 and 95, we had an excellent experience with good service and really good food. Three styles of Calzone, 2 Sandwiches and the curly fries all of which got excellent reviews. We are in from out of town and it was great to have such a nice lunch. We much prefer to eat local than at the big chains and y’all sure didn’t disappoint.

The experience was great. My waitress was awesome. The food was excellent with large portions, and fresh bread. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Friendly service and great food. Always pleased with their pizzas. The fried ravioli are a great appetizer. Salads and sandwiches are also great options.

I’ll start by stating the food is good. There are small things I would tweak personally. The fired cheese is too brittle to be dipped in marina. I had use a fork, which felt unconvention. The pasta was good. I love the mozzarella on top. The meal felt too sauce heavy. The garlic knots felt like they were there. They didn’t add any thing to the meal. Service was a tad slow. The food came out quick, but I feel like my only time I saw the waitress stop by was when I sat to order, when the food arrive, and when I was finished. There was a lengthy period where I waited for a refill. The table next to me was loud and obnoxious. They sang aloud, and I felt like I couldn’t eat in peace. I nearly walked out of the restaurant. My experience was awful. I don’t think this is a restaurant I can take colleagues to nor do I see me taking any dates here. I felt like the environment in the restaurant was not elegant whatsoever. I felt like I was eating in a zoo. I love the layout and design, but this far from a memorable experience. The only saving grace is the food.

The food came out kind of slow but it was super hot. So that was nice to know it was fresh and hot. We had kids chicken tenders which looked really good. And a kids spaghetti with an added meatball. My son loved the meatball. We got the shrimp dip and it was ok. Didn’t have much flavor but it was hot. And we split a spinach calzone with added chicken. It was ok. It definitely needed the marinara with it.

Carmella's is a gem right here in Grenada. Their food is always outstanding when we have been. Trust us, the wait is worth it. Let me tell you the tiramisu is ahhhmazing as well❤️ the Mona Lisa pizza can not be beat and I prefer a thin crust. The cheese triangles though, are crispity and crunchity, and so delicious. 😋 The tiramisu is by far the best!

The spinach dip was amazing! Everything was great. It's not fast food but worth the wait. The servers was nice and very attentive.

To the staff at Carmella's tonight. Although y’all had half of grenada there it seemed, y’all did everything you could to make sure it did not overwhelm you and no one went unnoticed. To the blonde lady running the register, (sorry I didn’t get her name) taking phone orders, waiting on customers, carrying food and cleaning tables, I give you A+++ rating.. you never let up and kept going with a smile on your face!! Keep up the EXCELLENT service and teamwork!!

They have amazing staff and the food it's Mmmmhhhmmm good. We dine sometimes but mostly takeout. There chicken Alfredo is the truth that's my main dish to order.

I didn’t get a chance to try the food because I left after trying to find, without success, a clean table to sit at. Tables were covered in stained, wet, crumb-covered tablecloths. Disgusting! As I was walking out saw someone trying to brush crumbs/dirt with a dry towel. Ewww!

The pasta dishes were good. The pizza was acceptable for a pie in the south with a tasty crust and ample sauce, and the eggplant was a big hit with our group. The big open covered "arcade" type seating was strange, but we got used to it, and it suited our large party celebrating a birthday. Not serving wine at an Italian restaurant seemed to be a deal breaker, but we were allowed to bring our own, and they provided ice buckets and setups. I think we were the first party of the evening and we were the last to leave at closing time. A definite stop for our next group dinner. Definitely ask for Max. He was a wonderful attentive server.

GREAT food here!! I had the bruschetta and the spaghetti with meatballs. Both were wonderful.

A busy little restaurant, with as many or more carry out orders as dine-in. Dine-in diners choose between eating in the tiny pizzeria or at intimate tables scattered among the boutique shops. Extensive menu of pasta, salads, pizzas. Personal favorite pizza:Mona Lisa personal pizza-grilled veggies on an white sauce pizza.

We found this little gem hidden away in Grenada when my son lived there. He has since moved but we visit every chance we get. The absolute best food, great atmosphere, and the staff is always friendly.

Great Italian cuisine! Had the deluxe calzone, tortellini and garlic knots (a must) and it was all delicious. Service was great as was the atmosphere.

I did not know this place existed till my team from work came in for lunch. One of the best Italian places I've ever been to. The Alfredo sauce is absolutely perfect. Thank you for a great meal!

Drove through the delta to see the incredibly low MS River level and ended up at Carmella’s on the way back home. Delightful appetizers and amazing entrees. Definitely hoping the River stays low so I can have an extra excuse to come back!!

First time eating here (and not the last!). The atmosphere of Carmella’s feels upscale and is quite clean. My server, Chad, was very friendly and helpful. I chose the fettuccini alfredo with shrimp (no mushroom). It arrived at my table only shortly after ordering. The shrimp was much bigger than I anticipated, which I thoroughly enjoyed, although the pasta was just a bit cooler than I would have liked. (This probably has to do with the fact that I like my food quite hot.) I got to choose between either garlic bread or garlic knots, and I chose the bread after my server told me he preferred it of the two. The bread was fabulous! Overall, I had a great experience here. Definitely plan on coming back. I suggest checking them out if you’re ever in the area!! (:

Definitely the best pizza in Grenada but the whole menu is excellent.

Excellent service with a nice atmosphere. They were out of mushrooms so we got the shrimp bread dip and it was good, really good. The alfredo was without taste and they do not offer angel hair pasta. The chicken tasted like can chicken and I highly recommend skipping it my husband got the tortellini and again it was bland and without much real taste. I'll go back but probably go with spaghetti next time! All in all not bad but not great.

Service was great. Food was very good. I went against a couple choices and chose pizza. It was great. Then I had the pineapple fried cheesecake. I was hunting somebody's momma to slap it was sooo good.

This place was a pleasant surprise. The staff is always friendly every time I have been in. The food is amazing. We had the chicken and mushroom Alfredo and the lasagna. Both meals were really good but the lasagna was absolutely amazing. I will return.

This place is a hidden gem. Everything is so fresh and delicious. The homemade bread is worth the trip alone. Abby is awesome. She's so funny and helpful. Great server. Do yourself a favor and eat here!

I really enjoyed the food and service here. Our waitress Abby was amazing! She was fun, had great energy and was very attentive. We tried half of the appetizers on the menu and enjoyed every one of them. Definitely try this place out if you haven't already!

Rude people running this place. Do not even think about wasting your time eating at this establishment. A phone call order that was supposed to take 45 minutes to prepare according to the person in the back they call a Chef was not ready when my father arrived. He was told it would be 15 more minutes before it was ready. After running to the pharmacy and returning, the order still wasn’t ready and he was told it would be awhile longer. He then explained that when they tell someone an order will be ready, it should be ready. They told him that they don’t need his business and for him to never come back. Unprofessional restaurant that has no place running a business in the manor they do. One star is too much for this restaurant.

Absolutely fantastic Italian food and the service is always spectacular. This is THE place to bring a visitor to the city or for a business lunch.

Nice restaurant delivering Italian food. They have atrium seating and we're kind enough to accommodate our very large party no problem. Even split our check which was very kind of them for a 15 person party.

Everything was great! I had a sweet tooth so I got quiet a few desserts,a drink , and OF COURSE the garlic knots . My card was also having trouble scanning and they were so patient until I could get on the phone and figure it out . All around great .. great food , great service , great staff !

The fried mozerella was about the size of half sandwich, and was perfectly cooked. The marinara was also very good, as well as the calzone however it was very greasy, but very flavorful. My order was ready in 20 min.

Do not trust Reviews. Muffuletta did not have Olive Spread. Cash Register was not working. Kitchen could not get the food out on time. Took 1 hour to get service and food. Had to go to the Front to get my ticket. This restaurant is not cool. Run by untrained staff. Parking is not cool.

Very open space, inviting and family friendly! Haven’t had the pizza yet but I’ll let you know. Our waitress Brook was very hospitable, took a pretty complex order and didn’t miss a beat! EDIT: these people KNOW PIZZA. Like, maybe I’m just having a good day, but this might be the best pizza I’ve ever had. Crust cooked to perfection, veggies fresh and full of color. Mouthwatering cheese... come for the people, stay for the food.

Food and service were very good. We are usually in Grenada around Labor Day every year and always eat here at least twice during our stay.

Carmella's Italian restaurant is a good place for both family and friends. They have good quality food options, but sometimes waiting for food is longer to arrive.

We were late getting dinner and had a choice between Carmella's and another local Tex-Mex restaurant we've been to many times. Camella's closed in thirty minutes after we arrived, but they kindly seated us and took our order. The food arrived promptly, in generous portions, and was quickly consumed. I had pizza and my friends had pasta with Alfredo sauce. Our dishes won't win a Michelin star for Carmella, especially not in Grenada, MS, but the very reliable food service and quality, as well as the friendliness of the staff, guarantee we will go back the next time we visit.

Food was great but service was slow, over an hour. Server, Laura, was wonderful but she couldn't bring it until they cooked it.

Some of my military buddies and myself tried out Carmellas and we all enjoyed it. The fried cheese appetizer is mandatory. Reasonable prices, great atmosphere, and fast/friendly service make it an easy choice in Grenada!

We just found a hidden gem! Carmella's in Grenada, MS is awesome! The service was fast friendly and informative. The food was excellent! Honestly the restaurant would fit in a big city! We had the "Bada Boom Shrooms" fried mushroom appetizer and they were very good. I had the Big Papa 8" stuffed pizza, just wow! My wife had the lasagna and it was excellent as well! She talked me into desert, so we tried the "Pineapple Express", I was glad she did! We will be coming back and bringing friends and family!!

This is the best Italian food we have ever eaten. We happened upon the restaurant while on a trip from Georgia to Mississippi. The server was so nice to split our order of Greek Salad and the Stuffed Eggplant over pasta for us before bringing it out to our table. We are elderly and just can't eat a whole serving on our own so a split meal is perfect for us. Our tea glass never got empty as our server was quick with refills. The restaurant is easy to find if you look for the strip center with the clock tower. This food was delicious.

Best pizza and salad I’ve ever had in my life

Stopped here on our way from Florida. We were really tired and this was perfect. The service was outstanding considering that it was a Friday night and they were busy. The tables were out in a mall atrium and I thought that would detract, but it provided a casual, family atmosphere where the tables aren't on top of each other. We were really hungry and split a 12" pizza for two of us. It worked out just fine. We ordered the Marco Pollo pizza - crust was perfectly done and the pizza was really tasty. The only thing that was disappointing was that they didn't serve wine, only beer. But the service and food were so good that I still gave 5 stars.
