I have always enjoyed getting my food from here. But I called to place an order for pick up for food and the lady said they are closed but they were open on uber eats and all the other websites. Horrible customer service..

If you’re looking for Lebanese-Armenian food look no further, this is the spot for you. We’ve been coming here for years and it hits the spot every time. We get the family style meal with kebab and we have never walked out wanting a single extra bite because we’re so so full. There is mostly indoor seating and a little bit of outdoor seating. The service is good and the ambiance is what you can expect at a middle eastern restaurant. The parking is in the back, not very large and you’ll be paying a little bit. There is also valet sometimes for a small fee. There is also street parking and there is street parking where you pay too. Overall we love this place, we’ve been coming here for years and plan to go more in the future.

Recommended by locals, good music, interior with fountains, small veranda. As for Lebanese food, some are good, some are simply bland.

I think this restaurant has the best Middle Eastern food in Los Angeles - hands down! All of the appetizers (hot and cold) are a 10/10. Everything is always so fresh and seasoned to perfection!

This was my favorite restaurant dirimg my trip to LA. The food is amazing! The menu is extensive, but don't feel overwhelmed. Just order one of the family meals. It's a deal! You will be served 8-10 items and have another dinner of leftovers to take home. Order an Armenian beer, it's light and refreshing.

Great ambiance and the vibe takes you to a laid back town in the Middle East. Variety of vegetarian options to choose from, I tried the falafel platter and hummus. Their pita bread is soft as cotton.

Delicious!!! We ordered family combo and it is a lot of food. Salads, 2 sides, meat, we were in the restaurant with our family - 2 adults and 2 kids and still we took some food home.

The music was too loud. The service sucks. They failed to bring certain items that we ordered, that we had to remind them about 4 times. They lied to us about the kognjac prices, which is 10 dollars per cup. For 3 cups, they charged 40 dollars. They also demanded a tip of $20, which is absolutely idiotic and ludicrous. They also charged $40 for items that we did not even order. We disputed it with them for over half an hour. The staff here are either incompetent, or snakes. The staff was not generous and timely, to say the least. The food was OK, but there are far better places in the area. Karas is a much better restaurant. Better food, service, and atmosphere.

Went on a first date the evening before 4th of July. The restaurant is a bit loud, and every 20 minutes, there was a birthday celebration with very loud music. The food was okay. I had the Mom Beuftek and my date had the Filet Sautee. The meats were good in both, but the vegetables served alongside lacked good seasoning. The cabbage salad was good. We had to wait a good half hour to get the waitress to bring us boxes and the check. She was just too occupied with all the birthdays. Our neighbor table had the same complaint too.

Delicious food. Meat is well cooked. Great location with lots to do nearby. The only reason for the 4 star was they took forever to give us the check, and return the card once we could. Otherwise, amazing food, would recommend to any fashionable tourist.

I always love coming here! It’s a very active place with many celebrations and gatherings happening! You get a lot of food for the money that you pay. I always get the vegetarian delight plate that gives you many options all on one plate! The servers are always nice and the food quality is always fresh and delicious!

First time visiting Carousel Restaurant and had an amazing lunch. We sat outside and they had great umbrellas to protect us from the afternoon sun. Top dishes we tried included the hummus appetizer, the grape leaves, and we did the charred shrimp mezze plate among others. Food was super flavorful, authentic, and arrived at the table steaming hot. If you love Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food - this should be your first stop in Glendale.

Terrible experience due to allergic reaction. Visited for dinner with five others. Ordered mezze items, told the waiter about my nut allergy, and asked if any dishes had nuts. He said two of the items we were interested in did have nuts, so we asked for two others instead and he assured us those would be safe. The food came, yet two of the dishes still had nuts! The nuts were there not just as traces but as main ingredients. I had an anaphylactic reaction, not quite requiring an Epi-Pen, but needing an urgent trip to the CVS around the corner to buy Benadryll to quell the reaction. I was okay but my next day was strongly impacted due to residual swelling of the face and throat. At the time we had talked to the waiter but he denied that any dishes had nuts. We spoke to another employee that confirmed nuts were in the dishes and offered surprise that the waiter would've recommended these dishes. It is disappointing that the waiter didn't know about the contents of the dishes he was recommending, nor did he bother to check with the kitchen. I called the restaurant the next day to speak with the manager about the experience. I wasn't looking to complain or demand a refund but to urge the restaurant to take allergies more seriously so others wouldn't have similar experiences. The hostess said the manager was too busy to talk but she took down my number and assured me that the manager would follow up in two days to discuss and make things right. He never did, which I found very disappointing. I have had close calls before - it is a risk I take by dining out - but overall this restaurant was extraordinarily careless in their recommendations and disrespectful in not owning up to their mistake.

Everything we had was very good. Especially the liver with onions. The service was also phenomenal.

Lovely place but the food quality is not as expected

I am so very disappointed with poor customer service and waitresses! First, It was a lot of noise over there and very crowded if you looking for high class restaurant this isn’t here. Second, i wanted to order drink and ask waiters for helping me to find my favorite drink but she could’t help me just staring at me! She didn’t even know what i am trying to order which is negative point. At the end, my friend paid tip for both of us and I didn’t add any tip in my pay check but they charged me and when i called back for refund the man who picked up the phone was very rude. Overall i don’t recommended people this place.

AYMAN is the best waiter in this restaurant. He’s friendly and professional and has great customer service. Other waiters and waitresses needs some attitude adjustments.

This place is one of the best middle eastern place to experience Lebanese armenian food. Hafleh beirut family meal will bring out all the appetizers and three kinds of dinner with is more than enough per person and a greqt deal in this crazy inflation. Covid slowed doen the establishment a bit but now it's up an full all the time and the chef is doing a great job bringing back the delicious food. 30 to 50 per person if you don't drink alcohol.

Large menu with lots of options well outside the reach of most middle eastern restaurants, and more available off menu. Very welcoming for larger groups and family style sharing. A great experience!

Excellent quality and taste of food and exceptional service

The waiter was extremely helpful and suggested we try their family style dinner. We did the Hafleh Beiruti and the food was amazing. All the variety and incredible flavors were delightful. The Karas wine we tried was superb. It was a lovely, cheerful experience.

I took my boyfriend’s family here. They hadn’t been to an Armenian restaurant before. We had a couple vegans in our group and I was so impressed by the many vegan options offered on the menu. They loved it and we’ll definitely be coming back!

The waitress was terrific. Very accommodating moving us from a table to a both. The appetizer was excellent. The 2 main courses were mediocre at best. Both dishes were very dry and not very tasty. And for that reason would probably not refer to a friend. Sorry!!

If you want a quiet dining experience, ask for it.

We sat outside so it was a bit chilly but we expected that. Servers gave us two heat lamps for a table of eight. Which was adequate. Service was fine but they did seem to forget about us once food was delivered. The food was outstanding. Which is why we come back and why we will continue to. Thank you.

I really enjoyed the food, but the drink I ordered wasn’t great. Obviously the bartender has no idea how to make drinks.

Everything is so delicious here. We shared sarma, kofta, hummus, fattoush, cheese boreg and then shared the carousel combo plate. We got extra meat on this plate and I think when you get extra meat it is then called the "merry-go-round" plate. We also got the Ashta B'teen dessert. Which is a square of clotted cream with a fig jam on the top. It was so good. It's a great place to go to eat, and they also sing a really fun song when it's someone's birthday. I would highly recommend this place. Great service too. Our server last Saturday night was Sofia R. She was terrific!

The service was so amazing and welcoming. We love this place, and the salmon kabobs were delicious. All of the dips and appetizers were great, and there was ample parking in the public parking lot behind the restaurant.

I’ve been here many times but this year we went for Armenian Christmas (Jan 6) and the food was even better than I remembered! Everything perfect and delicious especially the fatush!!! Perfect place for family ❤️

To tell you the truth I tried many Lebanese restaurants and by far this is the best. We ordered the Hafleh beiruti for 6 and it was more than enough and the dessert was delicious the ghazlet el rose was something and the halawet b jeben was very good the food was very tasty , the service was excellent, the ambiance is so nice , actually I don't know what to say there was nothing to complain about. I would definitely go back to try the fish and the other dishes too

Amazing, fancy Lebanese place that has locations in both Glendale and Hollywood. Definitely seems like somewhere you would have a celebration or special event. During our one hour meal, We had about four different birthday celebrations. Everything was absolutely delicious and id recommend ordering piece meal off their menu instead of their 'feast' set. Honestly, it was my first time having a lot of the dishes here, so I can't say that I had any favorites, but they all tasted fresh and the meal was amazing.

The most authentic Lebanese food I've had in SoCal.

One of the quintessential restaurants serving Armenian and Lebanese cuisine. The mezze platters are to die for here and a must get with a large group. The entrees are good, but not the reason you come here.

Everything we had, from salads through desert, was really good, fresh, well-prepared, nicely presented, in good-size portions. Service was quite another thing--pretty bad, from their thinking our reservation was for indoors (it clearly stated outdoors) to roundly ignoring us until after more than 10 minutes I had to to the manager and tell him we still hadn't received menus (when we'd asked for them, twice, waiters seemed to think they needed permission to get them, and didn't) or the table set up. He apologized appropriately, told me he'd be sure we would be taken care of well now--but despite that, service, while perfectly friendly and welcoming, continued to be unusually slow. I have a feeling we were sitting at a bad table--one they usually reserve for walk-ins--and that if they'd gotten the reservation right and we'd been seated at a table the waiters thought of as important, things would have been different. Unfortunately, I can only base my review on our own experience last night. We'll go back though because we liked everything else and will be happy to try it again.

The food is great, but a little pricer than most restaurants.

The food and dishes were good. Felt like a homemade meal. For a party deal, they brought so much food that we had lots left for take home. The bummer was no entertainment available on Sundays, and they close early. But, we still had a great evening.

This is a destination location a block from the Alex Theater on Brand. If you’re going to a show. I ordered the branzino. At $38 it was overcooked and dry. I’ve personally cooked branzino and it’s not difficult unless you cook it too long. The cocktail I had was delicious however and I had two. My friend had the lamb chops. It too was overcooked. Lamb should never be cooked well done. It loses flavor and turns into jerky on a bone. I spent nearly $100 with tip. I expected a better meal.

Not the cheapest place to get Mediterranean/Armenian food, but it is great place to invite friends. That being said, I don't go here often unless someone among my friends wants to go.

They were very kind to change my reservation from 4 to 8 on a Saturday night to accommodate some friends who ended up wanting to join us. The place was pretty busy so at times we had to wait for service, but, it was lovely and the food was insanely good. We loved it all. I would definitely recommend this and intend to return next time I'm in Glendale.

I’m a huge fan of this restaurant but yesterday, it fell short. I was there early and was told to wait even though it wasn’t busy and I could have been seated. The female hostess came and said I’ll take you while a male waiter/hostess said to have me wait again. The female hostess did seat me. It was very random. I usually get exceptional service and this time it fell short.

Waiter was superb but the kebab was dry and uninspiring. Disappointed

last Sunday (October 1st 2023) we did celebrate my son 30th birthday at carousel restaurant. We were so excited ( it was me my wife- daughter-son and his wife and parents all together 7person ) after we finished our dinner and birthday cake! I payed with my credit card and I did left $60 cash tips for waitress . what happened next was so disappointing! our waitress came back to our table and front of my family and guest told me that $60 tip is not enough and I should follow the restaurant suggestions. the way he acted and told me was so rude and disrespectful. I felt so bad front of my family since when $60 tip is not enough?I am over 57 years old and I had the worst experience with carousel restaurant in Glendale. I DO NOT want anyone’s going through this kind of experience. it was really a shame.

Would recommend the lentil soup & Greek salad for starters. The khash-khash kebab is my personal favorite here. The lamb shish kebab is also good but felt the portion was small for the price. Desserts are out of this world especially Ghazlet El Rose, Ossmanilieh & Ash El Sarayya. Service is always exceptional here.

Food will definitely satisfy your cravings. Everything was flavorful. Lentil soup was on point. Hummus was fresh. Tabbouleh could use more oil and lemon. Arayes were cooked to perfection. Unfortunately the main course, carousel combo, was okay. Service could be better.
