Great Italian Food!! Good people!

I've been a regular at Casa Della Luce since 2016, back when my firstborn was in a carrier car seat. The food has consistently been excellent, whether it's the pizza, salads, fresh mozzarella balls, eggplant fries, or garlic knots. My personal favorite is the Chicken Scallopini - Piccata, which I often order whether dining in or taking out. Today, my children and I enjoyed the Chicken Parmigiana and Piccata, and because the portions are so generous, we were able to split each entrée into two. The team was thoughtful enough to include four garlic knots instead of the usual two and portioned the salad into four, allowing me to enjoy the meal alongside my kids without the hassle of dividing everything myself. Their attention to detail is always impressive, and the executive chef even took the time to check in on us and see how our summer was going. Casa Della Luce is also a fantastic option for catering. I've hosted events with over 175 guests, and their pastas, baked dishes, and more have always been a hit. Even during the challenging times of 2020, their team went above and beyond, running food out to us and expressing gratitude for our continued support. The manager is an absolute sweetheart. Today, I witnessed her handle a tricky situation with someone loitering and smoking near the entrance. She managed the situation with patience, respect, and kindness, ensuring the individual felt welcome without interrupting service. Her leadership was evident, as she communicated with her team that the person was harmless, keeping everything running smoothly. I also appreciate the little touches, like the drawing pads for kids and how the staff directly engage with my children to ensure they’re enjoying their meal too. Casa Della Luce is truly a special place, and I highly recommend it for family meals, special events, or just a good time with friends.

The food is absolutely phenomenal!! Appetizers and entrees alike exceeded our expectations! The service was speedy! The atmosphere was lovely! Our meals were sheer perfection! They kindly made adjustments to the dinner I picked, making it vegetarian. We ate so many delicious appetizers (eggplant fries, garlic knots, salad, and clam chowder) that we didn't have enough room to finish our entrees. Casa Della Luce has the best garlic knots that I have ever had in my entire life! My husband said the clam chowder was the absolute best he's ever had! Sheree (I apologize if it's misspelled) waited on us Saturday evening. She was absolutely wonderful! Kind, friendly, and extremely patient with me (as I'm sometimes difficult). Next time we are in Westerly RI, this restaurant will be an absolute stop that we make! Thank you for providing an amazing Saturday night out!!!

Whoever the heck is in charge of making them arancinis messed them up bad. They tasted like legit nothing. Also the lasagna had this layer of dark soft gelatin, was it eggplant or something? Idk the food is def not good anymore

We ordered for take out, the raviolis were not cooked and very hard plus they gave me 3 raviolis, the meatballs were cold in the middle, we also had a pasta dish that was supposed to have garlic and had none, it was plain pasta in oil. Very disappointed for the price we paid. I tried calling to make the complaint and was hung up on twice. Very rude.

This place has become a go-to for us. The portions are large, the service is great. Maybe the friendliest staff anywhere. The bone-in veal parmesan is ridiculously good. The food is delicious and the prices are right. You just can't beat it.

Casa is our regular weekly pizzeria for their excellent NY style pizza. Now they have a thicker crust Sicilian pizza that’s very similar to what Westerly southern Italians made at home generations ago. Thick crust which is very tender, tasty sauce, quite a lot of cheese. If you’re a Neapolitan wood fired thin crust person, this is not your pizza. But if you want a great tasting “pig out” overeat slab (it’s rectangular) go for it. Haven’t had the nerve to add toppings, but I’ll bet sausage added would be a killer.

I frequently use Casa for my catering needs. Their location is not as close as other businesses within their group, but their selection and prices ensure my continued business. Recommend meatball sliders, arancini, penne a la vodka, and pizzas

Absolutely lovely dining experience. Went for dinner and it was busy but we didn't have to wait for a table. Family-friendly, classic Italian restaurant. The service was very good. I ordered chicken parmesan, and it was excellent. The chicken was tender, and the breading was browned and crisped. The freshly made pasta was beautifully al dente, and the sauce brought it all together. It was really just an incredible meal. Portion size was generous, and I had a good amount left to bring home. Would highly recommend for family dinner or even a casual date.

I had the chicken Broccoli Alfredo. Chicken was very very smal Pieces no flavor of Alfredo at all very very bland. I added salt and pepper still no flavor. No cheese taste to it watery sauce. Terrible

Their catering is really amazing! I recently had them cater a baby shower I was hosting, and I was super happy with everything - the food was super delicious, the selection was great, and the service was good. I worked with Cassidy, and she was super helpful with accomodating special dietary needs (gluten free, vegan, etc). I would use them again for any parties.

Brought my dad here for his birthday lunch. He loves the sister restaurant Breachway Grill. My first time being here but my dad says good food. He gets the veal parm hot sandwich. It looks so delicious when it came out and he got the works on it, pepper and onions. I chose the lunch pizza special. I got the CBR gourmet pizza slices. The crust is what I determine if the pizza is good. Its thin,crispy, exactly how it should be. Totally delicious. Great meal, great service. Five stars to me. Covid friendly. Redo restaurant

This was our first time here. Parking was easy. The restaurant was clean and bright. From out seats we had a clear view of the kitchen. The made our food fresh and quickly. Everything was very tasty. Our portions where large. We had a take home box full for dinner that night. Our waitress was pleasant. The bill was inexpensive. There is nice outdoor seating in the summer. The bathrooms could use some updating.

Our server was awesome. They make their own pasta, except for rigatoni. The dishes themselves were bland. This is more of a pizza place than an Italian restaurant.

This is a decent place for a family with children, but we have experienced much better Italian-American food in the Westerly area of Rhode Island. We dined on a Saturday evening, and despite the rave reviews, we were disappointed. The ambience is child-resistant, but without any charm or style. The menu is Italian-American comfort food. Della Lucce boats of home-made pasta. Both of our pasta side dishes were very good. It also boasts that it has the "best" chicken parm to be had in the region. The chicken parmigiana was mediocre to poor. The chicken was overcooked and tough. The sauce was bland. The presentation was institutional or mess hall/D-Fac. My date's chicken was similarly overcooked and tough. The manager offered to let us send it back to the kitchen, but we had a performance deadline. Staff is friendly and attentive. Wine is uninspired and unimaginative, but fairly priced.

Disappointed sausage was ground .Ditto for wife’s Sausage and broccoli rabe which she didn’t like the taste. Also for the second time in a row last time at Vetranos our points didn’t register from our card. Server was great. Probably will still go back

We plan to go back this Friday for lunch - for their clam chowder. Highly Recommended. Our only suggestion would be - get larger signs for your restaurant - cannot see them well from the road or even when one pulls into the shopping center.

We were uncertain what to expect when we finally arrived and found this restraunt in a strip mall. It exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious and plentiful. Our waitress (student in Montvale NJ) was attentive and personable.

First time trying this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. It is a typical pizza place when you walk in the front door. We both had excellent meals and would definitely go back. The staff was attentive and helpful. I got a steak with mushroom gravy over noodles and the flavor was excellent. My husband had a sausage and rob pasta dish and he enjoyed his as well. They have a beer and wine license.

We have a seasonal cottage in Westerly and there’s no better place around for a thin crust pizza and cold beers. The guys in the kitchen and wait staff are very friendly and attentive. Their wedge salad is also fantastic and prices are quite reasonable. We’ve done dine-in and take out and it’s always great.

We were looking for a nice spot to enjoy an evening meal in Westerly and this spot popped up on trip advisor - the menu pulled me in straightaway. A delicious selection of mouthwatering pastas (and many other Italian meals). We shared the Arancini Balls for starter (piping hot, delicious), and my partner had the meatball pasta I think? And I had the pasta salad as fancied something light. Both were delicious and they offered me a box to take half of mine home (which I did). Great food and wonderful staff - the only thing that lets this place down slightly is the ambience as the set up is like a diner, and I feel like with the food they serve they could make it a little more classy. Great place though and we will definitely be back!

We didn't Call ahead so make sure you might want to. Very laid back. Not too fancy but just right for a great dinner at a reasonable price. My son and I shared a meatball pizza which was amazing and we had leftover cold pizza at the beach in the morning. Which he enjoyed just as much as I did. I had perfectly done eggplant parm and my husband had chicken parm that lived up to its billing as “the best in the state”! All in all a wonderful meal with great service. We returned home to NY the next day and discovered that we had left our credit card at the restaurant. A quick call to CDL and Russ said that he’d mail it back to us. I have been coming here since I was younger - when it came to picking a place to cater my wedding I had no hesitation! They were amazing and all my wedding guest had nothing but great things to say about the food. If you’re not getting married though they have the best pizza and pasta around!
