Pretty good food and nice people!

These are probably my favorite tacos in all of st Pete. Love the meats, the toppings, and the creative flavors! The bowls are also solid and come with a side of chips. My favorite thing about this place is their margaritas, they are awesome! I’m pretty picky about my margaritas but this one passes the test. No artificial tasting mix and they rim the glasses with a mixture of agave,salt and lime zest. The counter service is fast and pleasant and the restaurant has a relaxed vibe.

What a find! The food is so good and the vibes are perfect! Loved it there and will definitely go back, the guacamole and chips are a must!

Good happy hour for the area: $2.75 for each select taco from their special HH menu. While the chicken tinga taco had a bit of a kick to it, it was otherwise very underwhelming -- I wouldn't order it again (2.5/5?). The beef barbacoa taco on the other hand, was much better: Significantly-bolder flavor, braised in a YUM sauce (I'd say 4/5). Service has always been good to me. It is unfortunate that we have such underwhelming options for Mexican food in our area, but Casita Taqueria is at least worth checking out during their happy hour -- particularly for their beef barbacoa tacos (and maybe also for shrimp or fish tacos I had on a different visit). So for the right price, it can be alright.

I’ve been here several times and each time it’s a hit with the entire family. Loved all the tacos. The burritos are a distant second to the tacos, but they are still good. Only thing that is disappointing is the guacamole.

After record shopping, I just happened to look up something for lunch & they were just a few blocks away, so we decided to stop… The tacos were great… The Pollo Tinga was good, but the Chorizo was amazing… The pineapple salsa really made it… I would definitely come back… Although, the margaritas were really weak & would prob pass on them next time…

Castia Tacos is amazing! In a place like Florida where tacos are everywhere, this spot stands out as one of my favorites. The tacos are incredible, the staff is friendly, and the prices are unbeatable. I think about their barbacoa tacos daily. I can't wait to return! If its lined up. Dont worry you will wait only a few minutes.

Stopped here for lunch, this place is great! Delicious food, fun atmosphere, off street parking, and was full for the rest of the day from my burrito bowl.

Great Taco spot in the heart of the Grand Central District in St Pete. Every taco was delicious and had no shortage of meat. Great quality and I will definitely be back.

Great place for tacos and drinks right on Central. The food is just really good and very tasty. The street tacos are just the best, they have so many choices for toppings even vegetarian/vegan options. The staff there is so accommodating and funny, very welcoming. There are plenty of seats, inside and outside so go stop by and grab some good eats.

I'm from San Diego California and visited this establishment and their food is just as good as California Mexican which is really hard to find here in Florida with the exception that they have black beans instead of pinto beans that would have made it 100% like California Mexican food.

Some of the best tacos I've ever had! We had the fish, barbacoa, and carnitas. The happy hour special is one of the best bangs for your buck you will ever find. We are visitors from out of town, but we will definitely come again!

What a happy place! So glad we came for happy hour cause we got a good deal. Traveling with a big family, eating out can cost a small fortune but the food and the drinks were affordable and delicious. Everyone was so nice, even when one of my littles broke down because she had to share her queso. She wanted her own! We bought her one…because it was that good. We’d come back anytime.

The people working there just get it! Two of us went and asked the person taking our order for suggestions since it was our first time there. She asked how hungry we were and made the perfect suggestions. The Casita Bowl was fantastic as well as the pescado taco and Brussels sprouts taco. This is a great place!

The food was awesome. Fresh with a great flavor profile. Definitely try the hot sauces, but beware even the mild has a little bite. Nice selection of drinks. Not cheap. Expect to spend about 15 to 20 a person, especially with an app to share. And I definitely recommend the queso.

I love this place!! I always get the Tortas with chorizo. (I plan on trying something new...soon). Each time I ordered it, it was better than the last time. Amazing!! By the way, you can choose other things to go between the best bread ever! I guess I don't order other selections because of the bread. This is a must try. It can be shared with half and soup. I don't share. Enjoy!!

Food is good, but taco portions are small and overpriced.

I cannot name a better taco spot in St Pete. This is truly my favorite place to come to. Service is always great and they are super nice, food comes out very fast and it is DELICIOUS EVERY TIME. I come here at least once or twice a week. Their prices are outstanding as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

FLAVOR!!!! Great tacos, house made guacamole, fresh tortillas… checks all the boxes! They are passionate about delivering on big flavor, fresh ingredients which equals tasty tacos. This place is great for a quick bite. We stopped for lunch and Casita delivered. I definitely recommend this place if you want good eats, you will find it here. Don’t be intimidated by the limited seating in the front, there is a whole courtyard outside in the back.

Absolutely incredible experience at casa Taqueria. The folks at the register were super kind and patient, the happy hour margaritas were amazing (and cheap), the tacos and chips/salsa/guacamole were all delicious and reasonably priced. I really appreciated the vegetarian options for tacos--all of them were really good and fresh. The outside seating area(s) are super cute (we sat out back) and there is plenty of seating so it never felt too crowded. We were visiting from out of town and this was the first place we had dinner--it was a great welcome to town and introduced us to Grand Central neighborhood, which was a true gem of an area.

Had my first visit this past week. Such delicious, fresh, wonderfully flavored fare. Do yourself a favor and go.

This place is a comfort spot. The employees are always super nice, great food, and I love the sangria with cinnamon on top 💗

So good! No margs but the sangria was amazing! The tacos were the bomb 💣 the shrimp tacos, grilled and fried were so good. We also got the steak and pork! All delish! The salsa was super tasty and I got some of it to go! Sit out back and feed the birds or sit out front and watch the people!! The line gets long at dinner time. Be polite and get in the line. Don't be pushy or rude, the staff will not tolerate it! Tip and get the cinnamon on the sangria 😀 -Small parking lot. It's on Central so parking is time dependent. If it's dinner time, take the sunrunner!! We know so we went early 330-4p and by the time we left, the line to get in was to the street and there was no parking!

Quick, affordable and authentic tasting

Very nice spot! Near everything else. Menu is not overwhelming whilst still offering ample options. Prices are not too bad, either. Their wine based margaritas taste more like a limearita but it was still delicious and a fair price enough to try it. The tacos were delicious and the salsa was fresh. They were quite busy, so the wait wasn't the best, but they do bring the food out to you. Plenty of seating in and outdoors. Def will come back to try.

Fantastic location and awesome👌tacos!

We had a surprise birthday party for a friend last Friday. Love that the back had plenty of room to accommodate a large group, and people could come and go as they please. Food was all Amazing!!! I saw some pretty tasty looking drinks too!

This place used to have the best tacos in St Pete! The vibe, service and quality is declining. I would expect that if I ask to take off cheese and ask for extra cilantro that since it cost less than cheese it shouldn’t be a problem. I did not get extra cilantro. I am weary of a lack of excellence when it consistently happens so I decided to post about it since there is no other way to communicate these problems other than being inconvenienced by going back to the restaurant when they can do it right the first time. The guacamole is still yummy!

Tacos were tasty but a little small. Queso was great but some of the chips were stale. The complimentary sauce bar was a nice addition of flavor.

This place is always a winner. Don’t sleep on the soup! My gf told me how much she loved there soups, but I had never ordered as I don’t think of getting soup at a taco joint. You must try! So tasty. Great place to get a quick, tasty affordable bite to eat.

One of the best spots in St Pete. My husband and I eat here quite often. We love the happy hour deals. I hope they open more locations!! Love the margs and steak tacos. The only thing I will say is certain people have better pours on the margs lol and I like the heavy handed people.

Best Flautas I have ever had. When I was given choices of meat I thought in my head they are probably frozen. I was very wrong, they were definitely hand made, large, flavorful. Also, order more than one bag of chips because they have an amazing seasoning on them.

I went to this place because it came up on the organic local foods search. But they fry everything in canola oil, so I couldn't eat anything. My husband Didn't care for the mahi mahi tacos he said they didn't have much flavor, but he thought the chicken was delicious and wish he ordered more of them. So if you are indifferent on oil consumption you may enjoy it.

Came in with a kind of big group. The counter service was perfect for us. I went with the Barbacoa Birria flautas. Definitely recommend those if they show up again. Attention to detail with the service was great.

Order at counter. All the tacos slapp. They come serve u by name. Salsa are really good the tacos are tasty need at least 4 can order mixed up. The playlist and seating is such a vibe. Hits good casual chill spot with fresh food. Get fresh gauc

First time trying this restuarant and I was sadly disappointed. Had high expectations but they were not met. Gentlemen at register told me we will make it quick because we were on lunch break and then we see 6 people who ordered after us get their food first. I went with the special and next best thing the camarones taco. Shrimp tacos were fine nothing amazing like the cashier recommended and the pomegranate chimichurri steak tacos. Not sure why they chose to put pomegranate with the seeds in the taco, not everyone eats them. The tall female server wasn’t very friendly either. A lot of flies if you eat outside by the way!

Love Casita! Their pollo tinga or barbacoa burritos are my favorite.
