Nice Cuban spot with a concern. I usually order the Red Snapper at every Cuban spot and I find myself comparing the taste between the spots. My favorite red snapper has been at Rumba and considered in my eyes the golden standard. But I got to say this place equals if not betters Rumba’s version. Holy smokes, it was meaty, perfectly cooked and the taste was on point. Had it with tostones and grilled vegetables. Tasted the churrasco from a friend and that was excelente too. My two concerns were with my wife’s dish and dishonest response from a waitress. My wife ordered the camarones al ajillo. It only came with 6 small shrimps. I understand food prices are high but $24 for 6 shrimp seems ridiculous. The second one relates to a drink my friend ordered. He ordered two lychee martini. It was excelente but the second one didn’t come with a lychee. When we asked the waitress said they were out of lychee. 5 mins later we saw two more lychee martinis being served on another table WITH a lychee. A third one came 5 mins after that. That was not nice. Minus those two issues….place was excellent.

I was really satisfied with my experience here! Beautiful restaurant with delicious food and nice customer service! I’m vegetarian so I got there coconut rice with beans with a cheese mushroom empanada. It was delicious 🤤

Love love looooove the food here. I will say this though...the Mac and cheese on the kid's menu, way too cheesy..gotta tone it down.

As usual, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I got Mahi Mahi coconut, and she got pineapple rice with shrimp. Christine was a pleasant and efficient server. Delicious meal.

Authentic Cuban food just like our Cuban parents used to make! My husband and I had croquetas de jamon as an appetizer. Materva and Iron Beer to drink. He ordered ropa veija, moros, yuca and even sent compliments to the chef! I had a most delicious Cuban sandwich. We ended with cortaditos (should have had stronger coffee and a touch more milk). Great service and music. Will definitely visit again.

Not a comment about food since they gave us the wrong order. This is about a take out order. I am Cuban and I called to order food for a family party. Guy who took my order on phone had no clue about Cuban food, so don’t ask about how much white rice and black beans for 10 people . I ordered $278 of food. Their website says they deliver and of course they don’t. No problem. We picked up food and they gave us order for someone else. Had to schlep back for correct order. Now that we ate food, not bad. Really good : White rice, croquettes, ropa vieja, maduros. However, like many not great Cuban places, the tostones were made with plaintains that were not green so they were not real tostones (not crisp). The worst part was the black beans that were super watery, not cooked down. Pernil (pork) was tasty but dry. The breaded steak was overcooked and dry. And, BTW, they charged me for a vaca frita that they didn’t give us.

This is my go-to for ladies night! Great food and sangria!

Casual Habana Cafe is an awesome restaurant with a lively atmosphere and awesome food. My server Freddy is warm, friendly, very personable and very professional. He always makes sure you’re comfortable, that your order is correct, and that your food is served as soon as possible. Another staff member I would like to mention is Rocio. She consistently comes to your table and makes sure everything is to your liking. love this place and I love the staff. They always make you feel like family.

I’m a local who has been ordering from this restaurant for years, since the food has always been decent. I don’t know what has changed, but the last take-out order we got was too salty and the food was not edible (ropa vieja, levantó muerto soup). Last time we dined in and ordered mojitos they were like poison!! Didn’t taste like mojitos, super sour. And we saw the staff trying a sip of it before giving it to us. I don’t know if it’s under new management or a new chef, but they should do something about it. We will be taking a break from eating from here for a while.

Have been regulars since this restaurant opened. Went to check it out back when they opened and went back the next weekend because everything as so amazing. The chicharron is to die for. The baby pernil is genius. All the seafood dishes are wonderful - my fav is the coconut crusted mahi-mahi. If you have to wait (as you might, on a Saturday night) grab a coconut mojito or some sangria at the bar. We've never had a bad meal and we've had way too many meals to count at this amazing place. The staff is great, the owner/chef is so friendly and it's our happy place.

Nice spot to eat outside! They have outdoor seating with very fake looking plants! The food came quick and Freddy (The server) helped up decide. However, it wasn’t very personal like in Hackensack. The food here was pretty good, I ordered the mahi mahi tropical, the fish was a little overcooked but in an amazing mango salsa fried in coconut. You have to get the boiled yuca for your side, absolutely favorite thing on the menu. The appetizer was a little pricy for only three plantains but it was delicious. The kids menu never fails, so much food. But the chicken was a little dry. I recommend going for a good experience and decent food

My boyfriend loves red snapper so I am consistently seeking places that serve it - on the bone where possible. We just so happened to be in the area when I found it on the menu. Went once and now regularly drive an hour just to come here for the red snapper and Pollo al ajillo which is my favorite (huge garlic fan). I want to explore other items on the menu but I can't because I absolutely love that dish. The happy hour during the week is also fantastic, he drives and I indulge in mojitos, which is a huge win for me. The happy hour apps are great too! We've tried them all.
