My favorite place in Wilmington! Wonderful atmosphere, fun and friendly staff and customers, good food, great drinks. It's a fun place to venture out on your own or bring your family, and the perfect place to watch Liverpool matches. Up the Reds!

Just had the fish and chips delivered! It was delicious and I'll definitely be ordering from Catherine's again!

Drinks are decent and a competitive price. I went here and got this Caribbean drink and tried their boneless wings. It was rather empty when I went but the room reminded me of a vintage western saloon.

Four of us for dinner and nobody was especially impressed with the food. My salmon was small, dry, and flavorless. Brussels sprouts were very hard. Although it was early in the evening, the noise level was high and very hard to talk with each other. Very attentive waite staff.

Reuben was just a bunch of meat on toast (both of which were good) with basically no toppings, had to ask for a side of kraut for the second half. Been looking for a good repeat Reuben spot, this is not it. My partners fish n chips was good, waitress nice and atmosphere good.

Different Cheesesteak #1152. Tuesday drinks and cheesesteaks with Amigo Dan. I’m glad I watched my video. I forgot how much we liked this (bar) cheesesteak. It was a Tuesday afternoon and they had a good crowd. The cheesesteak came with kettle chips and a pickle. They serve their cheesesteak on a toasted roll with fried onions and peppers. I got provolone cheese to complement the peppers. That was a good choice.

I’ve never experienced this level of overt bigotry in my life. I even waited to post this review until I heard back after emailing the restaurant, hoping for an apology or a response. Never got a reply. If you are lgbtq, I’d steer clear of this place. I’ve been several times and never had a problem….Until I did. They should be ashamed of themselves.

There must be a new person on the fry station. The quality of the wings has declined over the past few weeks. They’re always COLD, never cooked enough, and never have enough sauce, even if you ask for them well done tossed in extra sauce. The wings are usually amazing. This is so disappointing.

Had eaten here about 3 times and was very impressed with the food, particularly the gluten free options so we decided to reserve a table for our daughter’s college graduation. Katie helped us decide whether to reserve a room or just a table. She was very nice & was easy to work with. We had a total of 19 people who showed up at various times despite the 1:30 reservation. Ciera, our server, was super patient with the staggered arrivals. She did an AMAZING job keeping everyone’s drinks filled and replacing drinks as needed. The cook & staff did a great job getting the food out at, pretty close to, the same time. Everyone said their meal was delicious! Thank you all for the great service & great food. We will highly recommend you to others and we will come back again!

The waitress was great! She got our drinks quickly. It took a bit, but it was fine. The pork chop, Philly Rolls, pretzel, and potato skins were great! Would order them again! Nice atmosphere!

The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was amazing.

The place has a really warm, neighborhood pub feel to it. It’s the only local place I’ve found that can make a Guinness black & black. While the food there is good, the Irish options are limited. You can never go wrong with the big pretzel and the fish & chips. Both the French Onion and crab bisque soups are very good as are the pizzas. Prices are reasonable, service is good, and portions sizes are filling.

First time stopping by on St. Patrick’s Day because everyone’s Irish on St. Patty’s Day right? Live band, live Irish step-dancing, service and food were all fantastic. Will be back again.

Just left dinner. I highly recommend this place!! Our waitress Mia was so attentive. Food so good and reasonably priced. The wait staff was so friendly and efficient. Definitely coming back!

Neighborhood pub with old school lively vibe. Beautiful wood interior, plenty of space. Mia is awesome, greeted us with a big smile and promptly got us started with some delicious wings and cold brew from the tap. Highly recommend the chicken wings, Jameson Mild and Honey Garlic Stinger. Perfect crunchy base and finger-lickin good! For mains, the Brisket Grilled Cheese is phenomenal. Big enough for two so will try the Blackened Salmon Blat next visit. Bread pudding is delicious for dessert, traditional family style recipe. Really enjoyed our visit, highly recommended!!

I've been here a few times, not to bad, first time sitting in & eating . Environment was just not for me . Service was eh . Yeah unsure if I'd return. Portion for price is good tho. Had wings n fries, buddy had the brisket grilled cheese & it looked pitiful definitely didn't look fresh. Too much cheese which covered up the flavor of the " brisket " . My hypothesis that is was oven made brisket . No smoke flavor not appealing to the taste buds.

Been going here for ten years, but the new managerial staff is terrible, so a new rating is merited. Front of house wait staff and bartenders are great, but if the kitchen gets an order wrong the managers will lie to your face about the plate. Tonight I ordered a dish with no cheese for my dairy allergy. There was an odd substance in the ribeye so I inquired about a mix up. My bartender was super helpful and understanding, but the kitchen and floor manager both lied about the contaminated dish, which left me short of breath and with severe respiratory and digestive pain. I hope the shift manager gets fired for such a disservice

I was doordashing for a cx, and the atmosphere seemed peaceful, and you could sit and enjoy a meal. They are family friendly as a little girl approached my directions with sweet manners. The host was kind, helpful, and generous. She bid me a safe farewell. My hubby and I were looking for local restaurants to try, and it looks like we will try only if you guys have gluten-free options. I will review your menu shortly to see the options I can have. I moved to Delaware from Chicago, a city known for its great food, so i'm particularly critical of places I eat at and i'm not too sold on many of the places I've been to here.I found this place on accident on DoorDash looking for pub food one late night. The options sounded fantastic so I decided to go here with my sister the next day. This place is beautiful. I didn't go on the inside but right off the bat the atmosphere was amazing. We sat down to eat outside and I ordered everything I saw on their menu the night before that really caught my eye. Paremsan truffle fries, cheesesteak eggrolls, bavarian pretzel and boneless wings, devil's sweat and hot honey stinger. We also had the mint cocktail and the blackberry cocktail. Let me tell you, this place is now one of my top favorites. The pretzel was very large, and had that real pretzel flavor without being bitter, like a lot usually are. It was held up on a silver hanger with a rich beer cheese dip, a sweet goat cheese dip and an authentic but not too sharp mustard. Next were the cheesesteak eggrolls. They were really good, nice and crispy and cheesy and not under or over seasoned. My sister hates ketchup like its the devil, and she said the sriracha ketchup they served with them wasnt so bad. After that were the fries. Oh my goodness, those fries. Im the biggest fan of truffle flavored things, but ysually I find the flavor to be highly lacking or over salted. These fries were so heavenly. Super crispy on the outside and fluffy and tender on the inside. The truffle flavor was so spot on, and the fresh parmesan and parsley was the perfect chef's kiss on top. As for the wings, we took a chance and chose the boneless wings. While I do like boneless, I find that at many places they tend to be glorified chicken nuggets and have way too much breading with the chicken being tough or just plain weird, However, these were actual chunks of chicken, cooked to juicy perfection with the right amount of crunchy breading. We opted for thr hottest flavor, but didnt expect much since many places spiciest flavors are often underwhelming. These were, in fact, overwhelming. The devi'ls sweat wings were super spicy, and thr hot honey stinger wings were nice and sweet with a fantastic kick. Best of all, they didnt rely on just the sauce for flavor. They were flavorful all thr way through. As if it couldnt get any better, the Guinness brownie parfait send me straight into bliss. The brownies were fudgy and the guinnes whipped cream didnt have an overvearing alcoholic flavor to it. Our waiter, Simon, was simply an angel. He was kind and patient and even told us that the restaurant next door where he usually works called The Tap House is similar to Catherine's with a whole different menu. Overall, simply a joyous and wonderful time. My sister and I are still talking about it 3 days later. We'll definitely go back there and will happily go to the other places reccomended to us by Simon.

Just relocated to Wilmington from Texas, and our first step was to find the local Liverpool pub. This one can’t be beat! Great food that’s restaurant quality, and I wouldn’t call ‘bar food.’ Bartenders are friendly and attentive, and they have a good whisky selection. This is quickly becoming our favorite local bar, and they bring in a fun crowd on game days.

We had a Repast lunch buffet. Service excellent. Food variety was great and delicious 😋.

I’ve had TWO HORRIBLE events at this place! I manage a business around the corner, and we (customers and as a business) GAVE them a lot of business. We actually HAD a posted sign with QR codes to order food and have it delivered…until they had taken an order, and 2 HOURS later, I went around there for my customers (first visit btw) to pick up the order. The other event involved us as a business ordering a lot of food, them supposedly making it convenient for me to pick it up…only to be told in a very flipped tone “go around to the front!” I will never patronize this business again!!

I enjoyed a wonderful diversion during a recent holiday trip from family to home. Was very happy to find this place to watch Liverpool v Man City. Great people, comfortable.

Me And my girl try and find places we'd not been and this was one of them. Inside is great, it has that old Irish feel and you can just picture the bar fights from days gone! Caught the next to last Phillies game while we were here, the game was a let down but the place itself wasnt!!

Amazing food! I love their burgers and their cheesesteak rolls. Burgers are amazing and so are their prices. Their salad is great as well. They have great game night specials.

Stopped for a late lunch on a Friday, wasn't very busy. They have outdoor seating but we sat at a high top by the bar. I like seeing all the old wood & lighting fixtures. Cheeseburger was good, tasted like there was extra salt on it though. Salmon sandwich was very good and the fries were great & hot. Dislike getting lukewarm or cold fries! Brooklyn Summer Ale was so refreshing on a hot day.

The atmosphere is definitely juvenile and obnoxious on the weekend. Then again, I'm in my late 30s so maybe I'm just getting too old for it lol. Great service, food and band

This was my second time visiting, both were very enjoyable. Food was good, though i would have expected an Irish place to have HP sauce. Our wait person was excellent, friendly, attentive, she took time to answer our question and chat a bit. It really did have the feel of an Irish pub, well lit, spacious, and a welcoming appearance. Finally found a good breakfast spot that actually seasons their food. Service was great. Manager came over and gave my kids some little ducks so extra points for that Husband and I got the breakfast skillet, one daughter got the crepes the other the pancakes If you get the pancakes note they are MASSIVE even for adults

i ordered on a wednesday at 11pm which is two hours before closing time. i ordered a side of fries and some chicken tenders. i’m honestly baffled at the people that work there. They think this is a reasonable amount of chicken tenders that took HALF an hour mind you. on top of that they couldn’t communicate that they were out of fries? The Philly Cheese steak was better than I expected to be honest. The meat was tender and flavorful (not burnt/dry), they saute their onions and peppers which had a really good flavor and consistency. I also had them add mushrooms which added another level of flavor with a certain meatiness that mushrooms give, and I asked for provolone which they melted down beautifully throughout the sandwich. They piled on the meat and the food arrived hot including the sweet potato fries which were also crispy. For that reason I gave the five stars and my recommendation to come during happy hour where drinks are discounted. I got the buttermilk chicken sandwich, it was an average run of the mill sandwich. The best part was the dessert though. The funnel cake fries were delicious.
