Food was good. It is definitely the atmosphere of a good ol' greasy bar food. Hamburger was so good. Had some singer for some entertainment. Really enjoyed it.

Different. You walk in order then sit down. The food was good but they were out of alot of stuff. The beer comes from a cooler on the floor so it's hit or miss if it's cold. Prices are good for what you get.

Great place to stop on the road! We were traveling and decided to stop here for lunch. We were so glad we did! They had a special plate specifically for people on the Atkins and other keto diets, and it was great!! The BLT sandwich was excellent, and the onion rings outstanding!! The service was prompt and always smiling and friendly!!

I would really recommend this place. It's a hidden gem. The food was great. The portion are really big. The prices are great.

Wasn't quick, (15 mins) but I didn't go there for quick. I went because I heard it was good food and big portions and I was not disappointed.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The portions are huge! Most importantly, the food is delicious!! I had the chicken fried steak with jalapeño gravy and green chile. Absolutely amazing. Definitely worth a trip here.

This place is pretty good, the ladies that served me were very nice, it didn't take too long for me to get my food, the atmosphere is perfect not too loud and obnoxious, the other customers are friendly and easy to talk to, but most importantly the food, the food is like it was cooked at home cuz it is home cooking the chili cheese dog special that they have I could tell was delicious, the chili cheese fries and bacon double cheeseburger is what I ordered and it almost broke my heart when I had to put it down so that I could drive safely cuz I was taking bite after bite after bite almost ran off the road shiit was so damn good it wouldn't even funny

If you don't stop here, you are missing out!!! Everything was delicious! Great burgers, great onion rings, green chilis, bacon, and desert! Do yourself a favor and drop in! You will be happy you did!

I am so sad I haven't been here before! I have lived here almost 18 years only recently tried this place. I have wasted the last 18 years!!!! The burgers are insanely delicious! The fries are perfectly cooked! The atmosphere gives off dive bar without being off putting. I love it and now I just want to go every chance I get.

I Love the atmosphere as I grew up in Texas and it’s like going back in time. The staff is very friendly and made me feel comfortable even when my lil toddler was wanting to climb on the chairs. The portions were big and my chicken fried steak wudnt bad. I’ll have to go back and try it again

Traveling from California to Texas and got lucky!!! We stopped for something to eat But this was way better then I had ever expected!!! Big portion and it tastes like gma made it. If we lived near by we would be regulars.

Decent friendly staff & place to get a meal before a long drive. Burger was good- had a way higher expectations reading reviews though. Thought everything would be homemade turns out it’s not. Thanks for being honest

This is an excellent place to eat. Those workers are busting their butts to get the food cooked every time I have been there. Everything tastes good. From the stew to the meats to the chili makes you come back for more. Great atmosphere! Such a friendly staff. We tip good to give our thank you back.

Absolute best green chili chicken fry I have ever had. Stop here every chance I get. Burgers are delicous and humungus. Don't know much about the rest of the menu because I can't quit eating the chicken fry. It's a MUST have.

I went in figuring nothing special... came out knowing I had just ate the best chicken fried steak of my life! Hands down! It's probably against the law in every other state but Texas! Thank you Windy for customer service exactly how I like it... relaxed and informal 😉 We will be back!

What a great find. Was delayed on a flight and stumbled on this great dive. Great service, awesome food. The owner is the one that preps the food, had the chicken fried steak and a jalapeño popper burger and cold beers. Fresh and delicious. Highly recommend to anyone who likes a unique experience.

Took me awhile to include this restaurant in my dinning list. Now, in hindsight, I wish I had prioritized my food options better. This restaurant food's flavors are old school. I love old school. My cheese burger at Cecil's might have topped my 44 year ago memory of Jeff's Grand Burger. If you have a craving or a longing for an old fashioned Cheeseburger... Cecil's Last Chance is where to go. The generational family operated restaurant is not shinny and new, but however, was clean and the current family owner Wendy was on hand to check with each table and to make sure all were pleased. For me their hours being short on weekdays and open at night only on Fridays is not an issue. Closed weekends. I can't wait to return and try more menu items.
