Family ate here and i was the only one that ordered mixed platter and had cramping overnight and now i am on the toilet with food poisoning., do not recommend.

growing up in orlando, this place used to be 5 stars and a local must go-to place, but now its overpriced OK - quality food, and the employees are only concerned with racking up your bill...3 months ago when my wife and I were dining and got offered water, I was told there were two options: unfiltered tap water, or bottled water, which I couldn't help but feel some type of way about..."unfiltered tap water" sounds like toilet or lake water to someone who is about to dine there........ last month when my 7 month old baby was able to join my family and I at the table and sit in a highchair, the server considered us a party of 6 and tacked on the mandatory gratuity on his poor service. will try again next year maybe.

We actually ordered food from the hotel where we were staying in Orlando since my husband had gone to eat there the day before and really liked the hummus. He had not been wrong, the hummus was delicious, but the lentil soup had a strange flavor and did not taste good, the salad had too much citrus that made it inedible.

They are really very rude. I did not like their attitude at all as they were pretty much were going to kick a big group out for Saturday night cause their excuse is the place were reserved and when i called they did no mention that. I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU GO THEIR!!

So rude, I called asking for hookah before we drove 45mins there yet a guy said its not available, when I mentioned I called to confirm he waved with his arm sit will see! Well u need to see an anger management therapist sir! Happened before, tried to give another chance and here we are. Never back!

Wasn’t impressed. We were served by like 4 different people and they all were not that friendly. The hummus was good, but the entrees were very mediocre. Definitely not worth the price. 2 people we spent $80 total and definitely was not worth it. Guy stood over your shoulder when it came time to pay.

This was my second time there, both times i had bad service, ordered three different platters, all food was not cooked all the way and the taste was below average, and very expensive for their portions.

I absolutely loved this place. It was my first time, my family asked me what did I want for father's day, and I said, "Rack of Lamb". I couldn't have it any better. From the appetizers, the bread and the meal. I have no complaints at all. Well seasoned, well cooked, the rice, the vegetables, everything was great. The staff too.

Delicious as usual. Went for Mother's Day and everything was excellent. I have been here many many times. Worth every dollar! The lentil soup is.thick and hearty, the chicken livers do not have a metallic taste AT ALL!! It has this amazing sauce that will have you needing more bread, practically drinkable. The hummus is rich and creamy..I could go on about Cedars. Wonderful service and wonderful food.

Hello Khaled Food followers👍 Today I am in Orlando At Cedar Lebanese Restaurant The restaurant is excellent and the food is very good But it is less good than before, to be honest But it is still a good restaurant and I recommend visiting it Requests 1- Hummus with shawarma is good, but it would have been better to order hummus alone 2- The kibbeh is excellent 3- Very good shish tawook 4- Kebab is the least requested in my opinion (and it is necessary to reconsider the method of preparing it 🥰). On the other hand, the restaurant is worth a visit👍

When it was time to pay, the waiter brought a hand held device to me which seemed odd. Anyways i asked him how much, so he said it is $275. So i gave him $315 for the check and the tip. Then i asked him after he took the money if he could bring me the paper check, he said ok. When i checked the amounts, they had already added %18 or $40 for (large group service fee) per their description on the check. I asked him what is this and he said its the tip , so i replied i just gave you tip So pretty much i had paid $80 in tip and he never mentioned anything and when i confronted him he started stuttering and refused to give me anything but $20 It is Very unfortunate and uncomfortable whenever you face theft this way

Strangest Experience in Orlando The appetizers were good. The food was ok and overpriced, for a Lebanese restaurant we expected better. Our waiter was nice and welcoming, but deceiving. We got charged a ‘service fee’ for being a large party, even though we are small family (3 kids and 4 adults!). When confronted he wasn’t honest and didn’t know how to respond. Unfortunate experience, as we were excited to support a fellow arab business in the area.

Best restaurant in Orlando for gluten free. Lots of choices clearly marked on the menu. You wont have to talk to a manager about your allergy. High quality house-made food. Excellent wines. Boneless cornish hen is my favorite.

Food was good, but the young lady that served us was very rude. This is a great restaurant, unfortunately the server may cause them to lose customers.

This is my second bad experience at this location, which is the reason for the bad review. My first experience, before I was seated I asked about the hookah and was told they have it, and was seated. I put my order in then was told the shisha guy was not there yet. Over the course of about two hours I continued to be told he was coming but not there yet. Getting a small child to sit still for two hours is not easy. I would have rather been told he was not coming instead of waiting and wasting my time. He never showed up. I paid and left. Second bad experience, I had a reservation at 7:30, I called to let them know I was sitting in traffic and was looking for parking, I also called to make sure they saw the note that I needed to sit outside, he confirmed yes and said come no problem. When I arrived I was told there was indeed not any available table outside. Keep in mind I had a reservation and was being rejected but I saw from the window people coming from outside and sitting themselves at the tables outside and being served. This is unprofessional behavior and also did not appreciate having to find another place to dine for iftar while fasting all day.

This place was good lately the service became horrible just horrible the server was disrespectful, she was cursing and screaming in front of the manager and he couldn’t even stop her

Very good Lebanese food, the Kebbeh and falafel were delicious, babaganoush, the bread (fresh and super hot) were also spot on. Service despite being friendly lagged and was very inconsistent. They forgot to bring Tahini for the falafel and forgot the yogurt salad for the Kebbeh. We asked for both and we were only able to get the Tahini, we ended up giving up the yogurt salad. There was a belly dancer performer, which was fun and if you wanted you could go outside and sing. Will I go next time? Because the food was very good I would do takeout, but I would also check the order 3x before leaving the premise as service consistency is a point to improve.

It is a shame to affiliate this type of food and service to Lebanese’s. Hospitality is awful, when we arrive, we waited long by the door to have the waitress come to direct us toward a table to go to just from where he stands. The service deserves a zero star, if not a minus. We order appetizers and main dishes, some dishes were forgotten, when reminding the waitresses about the missing dishes, she insisted to keep forgetting to remember I guess, so the wait gets longer. Your drink will never get refill. Your order of sauces, breads, or any type of services a decent restaurant presumably should offer requires a begging, chasing, than consistent reminders to the server, to actually not have it at the end. Considering this food to be Lebanese is almost insulting to their cuisine! This place is not even near decent Lebanese or middle eastern food. The grill is the worst thing you could have there, meat comes dry, burned, chewy. You would think with the 30 bucks worth of tiny 3 skewers of meat should be delicious, quite the opposite actually! tabouli looks like a donkey chewed on some parsley and cilantro and then spit it on a plate, garnished with big cut tomato pieces and hardly any lemon juice and olive oil. This place is SCAMING people to think the food, service, and hospitality is Middle Eastern, when the truth it is not. This is worst not recommend, more like aim to avoid!

They got rid of the veggie sampler on the weekends. Terrible decision! Best dish they offer! I never come during lunch on the weekdays and will never get to enjoy the best dish they had. Might as well go to Bosphurous instead.

Bad experience entrees were brought with the appetizers. Definitely their food quality and services dropped. Will never go back again.

I went with family members for a lite, late-lunch oh a Saturday - two days before Christmas. We limited our choices to shared appetizers: falafel, hummus, fatayer, and one member ordered a bowl of lentil soup. The meal was accompanied by fresh baked pita - and each of us chose a Lebanese beer as our beverage. What was served was excellent, freshly cooked. Service was attentive, helpful and not intrusive. Large indoor and outdoor dining areas; clean and well-appointed. Full bar. Located on ‘restaurant row’ in the Doctor Phillips section of Orlando.

Cedars Restaurant is some of the very best Lebanese cuisine I have ever eaten. For starters, the homemade pita bread baked fresh in a wood fired oven at the back of this elegant restaurant arrived at our table warm and puffed and unbelievably delicious. We ordered the Baba Gahnoush and Grape Leaves as an appetizer, and the dishes exceeded our expectations. Everything was super fresh and made to order, that it had us cleaning the plates with that wonderful, fresh baked pita bread. We also ordered Hummus with Meat, and the lamb was so flavorful and tender; I wish I would have ordered it as an entree. Our entree was the Shawarma Platter, and like all of the food here, it did not disappoint. There wasn't a morsel left for our server to take away. Stuffed as we were, based on the most delicious food we just enjoyed, we knew we had to try the Knafa for dessert. The syrup was delectable, and the cheese so fresh we would have ordered a second order if we had any room left. We received outstanding service from the entire staff, and Nour made us feel like we were part of her family. Whenever we are in the area, we will be sure to visit Cedars Restaurant again. Cedars is such a great dining experience that one may consider moving here so they can eat at this establishment on a regular basis. Impeccable cuisine and service, do yourself a favor and stop in for a meal at Cedars if you are even remotely close by.

Very nice staff ,and the food was really good.

We dined tonight for the first time to celebrate our friends birthday and it was fantastic! Our reservation was seated on time and the belly dancer was performing throughout our meal. She was interactive with patrons and our waitress was extremely attentive. We started with the bread service, cheese rolls and kibbeh. The appetizers were served quickly along with our drinks and were very fresh! We’d never tried cheese rolls before, they are similar to a fried egg roll and were outstanding. According to our friend whom we dined with that is Armenian, she was extremely impressed with the Kibbeh. For entrees we ordered the Lamb Shish Kabob, Cedar’s Chicken and Kafta Kabob, nothing too fancy with the plating but the amount of meat was insane! We all thought our meat was cooked perfectly, vegetables had a unique lemon & garlic seasoning that we all enjoyed. You will have lots of leftovers. I’m always opting for local spots like this over the typical chain restaurants, I’m so glad we discovered Cedar’s!

Food is A+++++. Service could be better.

The food was really disappointing; it was cold and dry. I couldn’t even recognize it as Lebanese cuisine. I have no idea what they’re serving here. It’s almost like the kitchen staff didn’t put in any effort. The Hummus with meat had cold and dry meat, the Kebbah didn’t taste fresh at all. Even the mixed grill was dry, and the Knafah was oddly soggy. And to make matters worse, the prices were exorbitant for food that didn’t even meet the basic standards of Lebanese cuisine. They also added the tip to the bill, and there were just two of us, which makes me think they’re pushing for tips because their food falls short. On the bright side, the service and atmosphere were excellent, but I won’t be returning to this place again

I recently dined at Cedars Restaurant in Orlando and had a mostly enjoyable experience. The food was undeniably delicious, offering a flavorful taste of Middle Eastern cuisine that left my taste buds satisfied. The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely, with comfortable seating and a welcoming atmosphere that made for a pleasant evening out. However, there is one area where I believe Cedars could make some improvements. The manager's attitude towards guests could be more customer-friendly. During our visit, he informed us that all reservations for outdoor seating needed to go through him to accommodate hookah smokers. While I understand the need for organization, I found his demeanor to be a bit brusque. A more welcoming and accommodating approach to customer service would go a long way in enhancing the overall experience at Cedars.

This restaurant is phenomenal. The food is fresh with REAL ingredients. It's authentic Lebanese food. So healthy and delicious! Our whole family loves eating here every time we visit Orlando. The service is also fantastic! Everything on the menu is amazing.

Overall, it is good, and the service is excellent. However, they charge $10 per person for the one man live music which we realized when we got the bill. Also, we were charged for the water we did not ask for and for 2 appetizers when we had ordered one. It is definitely overpriced and the music was not great. Food was tasty. The tip was included on the bill, even though we were only 3 people. I will not go again.

Be ware there is an automatic 18% tip added. There is no information about this either on the menu or website.

I had an absolutely delightful experience at Cedars! The ambiance was charming, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. The menu offered a fantastic variety of Middle Eastern dishes that were bursting with flavors and aromas. My wife and I were particularly impressed with the skillful preparation of each dish and the use of authentic ingredients. From the perfectly seasoned appetizers to the mouthwatering baklava, every bite was a culinary delight. We left the restaurant feeling satisfied and grateful for the wonderful dining experience. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

They food is fine but they ad 18% tip on the bill without your authorization I think this is not legal

Slowest service ever! It took over one and half hour for our order to arrive and then waited half an hour for a to go box. They had no issues adding automatic 18 percent tip to our bill. Disappointed at restaurant that was recommended to us.

Ours was a great experience! We went for lunch , their hummus with shawarma was served with fresh from oven bread , entrees from cedar’s special and meat grill were delicious . serving size was good too.

Cedars restaurant is a beautiful place with delicious food and great music. Very nice vide in the place. The hookah from Sakr was also excellent. Very fresh and flavorful. Very impressive display when he brought it to the table. Very talented. He also always made sure I had fresh coals. Everybody needs to check him out. Definitely going back soon.

I decided to stop by Cedar's for a random meal. This turned out to be one of the better decisions I have made in my life. I have spent time sailing in the Mediterranean, and indulged in the food and culture while I was doing so. The meal I had at Cedar's was absolutely on par, if not better, than eating in that region! And my server, Nour, was so lovely. She was very informed on all the food and it's history. Thanks to her, this wasn't just food for my stomach, but food for my soul as well in that I learned so much from her expertise in Mediterranean cuisine and culture. I cannot wait to go back, and would frequent this establishment if I lived in Orlando.

I always do the hookah here on Saturday nights and my friend Sakr makes the best hookah and is prompt on giving me refills on my coals. All the belly dancers think I’m a gentleman. I am so blessed to have a place like this that I can go to unwind during the weekend.

She was sweet, made us feel very welcome and made excellent suggestions making it a wonderful evening and culinary adventure! We felt pampered and FULL by the time we left. Try the Cedar Chicken, the mixed grill, shrimp scampi, and finish with the baklava and the Arabic coffee. Again thank you Nour you were awesome❤
