Stopped in at Champa's during the apple festival and not too busy which was nice because we got seated, served and our food quickly. We had a Dancing Girl sushi roll, pad thai with chicken and the sesame chicken. Everything was absolutely delicious, loved the spice of the pad thai and the sesame chicken was just the right umami and sweetness. The atmosphere was also just great, I loved the aesthetic and the paper lantern decor. 10/10 would definitely come back.

The most unflavorable Lo Mein that I have ever had. Absolutely no flavor! The spring roll was delicious. Fortune cookie was stale and had no flavor. Very disappointed in Champa today. I usually love the food.

I ate there because my daughter wanted sushi. I will say that the sushi was good. I, however, ordered teriyaki chicken. The chicken seemed like it was walmart brand, frozen chicken. Very processed feeling. The service was minimal. Not rude, just not very attentive. All in all, if you want sushi, it's good. I just wouldn't recommend the chicken.

We always stop in at Champa's when in Hendersonville. Family run, offering unique flavours in Japanese, Chinese cuisine. Very fresh Sushi. Appreciate their willingness to customise dishes for my taste. Very clean facility, offering offering outside dining. Parking can be a problem, limited and a fee.

I absolutely love Champa. It's my go to place when my guy asks where I want to go for date night. The staff is amazing and the food is wonderful. I love the spicy tuna rolls and the Godzilla rolls! The Crab Rangoon is also one of my favorites! If your looking for some great sushi this is definitely the place for you!

I've visited this location twice and the staff/owner are always friendly. Food is great and this last visit we ordered a sushi boat which was 🔥. I asked for spicy wonton soup and it also made my toes curl. Our vegan friend in the group enjoyed the vegan rolls they ordered if that's your thing. Go get you some Champa.

We walked in 1 minute after lunch ended, but they kind of abruptly told us we couldn't order lunch still (we had a lot of kids with us and the priced are pretty high). I don't mind that too much, but nobody greeted us when we came in and the server lady was very curt. We ended up walking out because we felt uncomfortable and the prices were so high for dinner

Great sushi, fabulous tempura. Here again with a party of 14, and all our meals were fantastic. Service is friendly and accommodating. The sushi platters were beautiful in presentation, and so fresh! Hot meals came out hot. Wonderful bar drinks as well.

Usually go to Umi, but they close between lunch at dinner. Food was very good. Restaurant clean and well appointed. But service not particularly good. Very abrupt in manner. Never checked in on meal, even though only 2 other tables seated in restaurant. Then, I had to go to front to get check. Next time, we will go earlier or later to Umi.

We've been to Thailand and quite simply, this is the best Thai food we've found stateside. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was most pleasant. We live an hour away from the restaurant and will gladly make the commute.

On a visit to Hendersonville, NC, we stopped to have lunch at Champa. We had an excellent server and the food was delicious. The restaurant had a wonderful ambiance until a woman and her friend moved from the front of the restaurant to the back where we were sitting and proceeded to allow her toddler to scream bloody murder for thirty minutes. The restaurant had no control over that. We would definitely return!

We had an excellent dinner at Champa's. My son has a gluten allergy and they were attentive and had plenty of options including hibachi. Everyone's food was delicious, the service was excellent and we loved the atmosphere. I highly recommend Champa and look forward to coming back in the near future.

Have lived in Hendersonville only three years and met friends at the restaurant. My husband and I ordered the roast duck dinner together with two side salads. The food was excellent along with the service. Environment was very clean and quiet. Would recommend this restaurant.

Our favorite place to go for sushi. My daughter is a vegetarian and cannot get enough of the Green Dragon roll with inari, cream cheese and avocado. I have not found anything around that compares to this place for vegetarian options.

I will diffently return. The amount of food you get for the price is well worth it. For three people it was about 120.00. We had 3 sushi entreas, crab rangoon, soup, 2 chicken and shrimp hibachi meals, and 1 steak and shrimp hibachi meal. All food came out hot and , we ate it all up.

Came back to try again since we have been coming here for many years and we're so disappointed last time. Tried the sesame chicken again. Much worse than last time. Very dry, lacked taste, and somewhat somewhat chewy. No one really seemed to care...wanted full price. Below is a picture showing how much chicken we just couldn't eat, not because of generous proportions, but rather it was garbage! I would be very surprised if the chicken had actually even been cooked that day. The rice? Amazing when it is readily picked up in balls/clumps with ease using chopsticks on the first try. Extremely doubtful we will ever offer them another try; just too many other options, like Tokyo Express in Arden.

When I saw that it was a Chinese/Sushi Restaurant. That is always a red flag when restaurants claim different Cuisines. Everything was terrible and served almost cold. After about 10 minutes, the waitress finally greeted us, we ordered water and 3 appetizers. The waitress brought our water, DROPS the straws on our table, turns around, walks up to the small table I noticed earlier, grabs her phone and water and walks away. She was visibly upset. After this interaction, we were never comfortable while there. The waitress delivers the appetizers, we ordered Chicken Satay, Fried Calamari and Crab Rangoons. All of them were very good and great portions! We should have never ordered an entrée. Our entrées were Triple Thai Delight (supposed to be served with spicy Jalapeños sauce). I ordered it 3* out of 5*. It should be spicy. It was bad! Tasteless to be honest. My wife had the Pad Thai. Both of the main dishes were bland. It taste like food you'd make out of a box. The only good thing about the entrée(s) was the quanity, big portions. Sadly, it taste TERRIBLE. In addition, the waitress NEVER returned to refill our water. Our bill was $62. I left a $10 tip despite the awful experience. Save your money and go to Boon Choo. Their Thai food is much better. We are locals for 27 years and this was our first trip to Champas. We arrived around 1:45 on a Wednesday afternoon. Restaurant had maybe 4 patrons at the time. I asked to sit in a corner booth, evidently it pissed off the waitress as she had her phone, drink, and a few personal items at another table close by. She was visibly mad that we chose to sit it that place. She literally set the cups of water down hard on the table and DROPPED the straws and walked off. Strike 1. We ordered 3 appetizers. The Calamari, the Crab Rangoons, and the chicken satay. All were very good. For dinner, we ordered Pad Thai and Triple Thai Delight. First, the Pad Thai. It was so bland. I've had better at fast food places. Strike 2 I had the Triple delight, I will say the quality was great, that is it. It was tasteless. Strike 3! Our bill was $62. I did leave a $10 tip, despite the experience and the waitresses poor attitude. We spent $72+ dollars and will go to Boon Choo again next time. It's better, cheaper, and the staff are polite.

Champa is the best Thai place in the area, hands down. You can throw a dart at their menu and you're guaranteed to hit something delicious. Standout meals are their sushi, their Pad Kee Mao, their Pad Thai, their General Tso's, and their Thai Seafood Eggplant. If you're a spice lover they have you covered, too! Always mediocre, last night was horrible. Food was cold, appetizer we ordered came at the end of the meal, got the wrong rice. Never had a chance to ask for anything to be corrected b/c the waitress never came back. Just paying the tab was difficult. If you want sushi in Hendo, go to Umi.
