Cheese importers has an amazing selection of cheeses from around the world. One of the best things about living in Longmont.

Wow! What a great first experience at Cheese Importers. I've had a gift card for years and never made it out to Longmont to use it. The whole shop is very beautiful and easy to navigate, even for a cheese novice like myself. Johnny and Jimmy were both super helpful in helping me find exactly what I wanted plus some new things to try. Will definitely be back, thank you!!

The sheer variety of goods, not just cheese, is astounding. There's no other word to describe it. I've never seen so many things I've never seen before haha!

We go there for the gourmet food downstairs BUT UPSTAIRS is where all the fantastic imported soaps are! Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to see it all, grab a basket and have fun!

Coming from Wisconsin, I have a very high standard for cheese. Consider my dismay when I saw the lackluster cheese selection at my local grocery stores in Colorado and the subsequent joy when a colleague recommended this place. It absolutely blew me away with their imports of not only cheese, but European snacks and kitchenware. I live nearly an hours drive away and this place is always worth the commute.

Very cheezy place! Large selection of cheeses. Plus, many other products to choose from. Can be a bit pricey. Bring a jacket- the cheese section is refrigerated!

This is one of those cases where I'd give 4.5 stars if I could, but since my small gripes are more personal than general, they get the benefit of the doubt. There's an interesting disparity at play here. The good news is that they have a truly impressive variety of cheeses from all over the world, at decent prices, easily earning 5 stars. The bad news is that the cheeses are mostly a "greatest hits" sampling from any given country, that will be easily recognized by the typical shopper who likes cheese. I happen to love French cheese in particular, and from that perspective, the selection is pretty bare bones. It's not what one would expect to find at a specialty French cheese store, but they don't claim to be that, so it wouldn't be fair to judge them on that basis. So, why do I mention all this? Because the irony is that the store has an incredible selection of French kitchenware, and only French kitchenware! There's more space dedicated to those products than their entire international cheese offerings! If they would offer the same variety and depth of French cheeses as French products, I'd be in cheese heaven.

Awesome selection of cheeses especially the triple cream brie being an absolute banger. Lots of importanted chocolates, meats, and sweets be prepared to spend more than what you would expect.

So.. many... delicious things here!!! Great curated selection of cheese (of course!!) but also local and imported chocolate and cookies/treats, pasta, honey, and kitchen/house wares. My personal favorites are the small producer string cheese and the chevre with edible flowers. Also fun french kids items and soaps upstairs!! ( Yes there is an upstairs!)

I’ve been here before and they have a nice selection of cheeses but we went in there today and it smelled like a dirty litter box. I didn’t see any cats around but I couldn’t stop sneezing and I’m not allergic to cats.

I've always loved this cheese shop. It is catered towards tourists and the wealthier class, but it has very good cheese, food, drinks, and gift items. Will you spend more than at the supermarket? Yes. Will it be better? Yes. Additionally, their customer service has aways been top-notch.

We were there in the morning so we were not able to sample their restaurant hours - not a problem! This place is exceptional starting with the large refrigerated cheese room featuring one of the largest elections of global cheeses we have ever seen. From there there are gift areas of European cooking implements and treats, gift worthy items such as soaps, linens, and food items hard to find in this part of the country. The emphasis seems to be on France, however it is truly European with great items from the UK, Germany, Italy, and elsewhere on the continent. There are even some great American artisanal items. In our opinion, this is hidden gem, and highlight, of a visit to Longmont and the County. The staff are helpful without be intrusive, and the prices are fair. We look forward to returning later in the day to experience the areas closed off when we visited.

This place is incredible!!!! There is the most amazing assortment of cheese from around the world. A cheese Sao Jorge from Portugal I have looked for in the states for over ten years and this is the first place I found to have it. Beyond cheese there is a ton of great kitchen items and collection of imported goods. Especially French including real French baguettes. Made with French water and French flour that you warm at home. I will be going back and taking anyone visiting from out of town to check this place out.

Honestly super disappointed. They have a great selection that I was excited about, but when we got home, we saw that almost everything we got was expired. We bought some butter that expired May 2023. Went in this past Saturday.

Yum! Know that there indeed are no beverages or foods solid for onsite consumption :/ no restaurant, bar, or dining available at the Cheese Importers as of this weekend. But WOW are there so many goodies! A whole refrigerator room of amazing cheeses from all over the world. Dishes, cutlery, spices, preserves, salamis, crackers… a little European haven out here in Longmont. Be prepared to spend a pretty penny; you will enjoy every bite of your artisan goods, and it will delightful and difficult to pick what you buy. The staff know so much about cheese and are happy to share the knowledge. Check it out of you have the time!

I love this store! It is just stuffed with interesting foods, sauces, candies, tableware, soaps and lotions, and of course, cheese. The cheese has it's own dedicated cold room with helpful employees. Plan to spend at least two hours there. You will not be disappointed!

Staff is nice-when you can get thier attention, they are always busy putting out new stock. It takes a little while to check out, and they do not let you sample cheeses these days. I miss the cafe. Atmosphere is unique. Don't forget to check out upstairs. There is plenty to look at here. The smell is a bit much, a combination of scented products, cheese, and whatever else.

Probably the best cheese shop in Colorado. A very large selection of cheese from around the world. They also have fancy crackers, mustard, jams, oils, candies etc. A must visit if you happen to be in Longmont

Amazing place to visit. So much more than just cheese! Many fine European treats, kitchenware and other cool stuff, even books & toys! They have a massive refrigerated room filled with cheese from all over! Really cool vibe. It's like visiting in some shop in Paris. Something for everyone and worth the visit to be sure! Great friendly and knowledgeable staff as well. 10/10

What a surprising adorable French/European market in Longmont! Huge shop and we spent a good hour perusing. Felt like I was in France again. I found so many wonderful things from imported pasta to French linens to unique gifts and of course cheese. Beautifully curated. Wish their cafe and bar were open. This is a definite must stop for any foodie, picnickers, fancy gourmet hikers, and the place for the ultimate charcuterie board cheese and meats. Definitely will be back and so worth the drive from Denver!

I go here regularly. Today I wanted to use cash, yet even with two active registers they were unable to change a 100 dollar bill. That's lame, given the amount of sales they have every day.

Wow! You walk in and it's amazing and a bit overwhelming! And then you just slowly walk through each section, taking everything in! It's just fascinating! Great place for buying original gift items! ... And then there's the cheese!!! Oh my! If you've never been here and you love cheese, you are missing out!! What a fabulous find! Gifts, cheese, crackers, jams and spreads, pasta, chocolates, honey, fondue pots and Raclette grilles, LeCrucet, and an olive bar! There's also a cute outdoor area with bistro tables and chairs where you can enjoy your nibbles if you can't wait until you get home!

We were there a couple of days before Christmas, and the place was packed. The staff dealt with the check out lines very pleasantly and efficiently. If you have never been, don't plan a quick stop. You will want plenty of time to explore!

This place was over the top gift and French store. I had a hard time finding cheese though (hence 4 stars). I found the cheese in a cooler enclosed area with cheese galore. They need signs, for sure. It took us over 10 minutes to find cheese, the place is a mouse maze, don't get trapped!

Much more than a cheese shop. There are foods and other food related things to buy from several different countries. They have honey from Spain. It's so good. Cheeses from several countries too. I had never had cheese from Holland before but they have it. Theybhave cookies and candies from around the world too. Plan on spending a good hour here if you go. So much to see!

They have a very large supply of cheeses and other interesting things. You could spend hours milling through this palace. If you like cheese this the place to go.

One of a kind; just try it! Some reviews mention high prices, but I don't think that's fair to say. People must account for the fact that imported foods are higher anywhere. Besides, not everything is imported or pricey. I found cheeses here from local creameries, one from Longmont and another from Boulder. I experienced very friendly service during both my visits. I think I'll be shopping there at least twice a month. If you have a palate that gravitates towards the exotic, foreign, and hard-to-find foods, this may be the spot for you, too. 👍🏼

This place is ahhhhmmmazing!!! OMG, I went here for one specific cheese I've been looking for (Castello's Tickler Extra Mature Cheddar Cheese with Chillis & Peppers) and got super carried away and spent almost $100! I felt like a kid in a candy store! The store is MASSIVE with an astounding selection of far more than just wonderful cheeses from all around the world. I could spend hours in this store and looking forward to doing so next time I come.

We were disappointed that their restaurant was closed 3 years ago but their friendly professional customer service is still inviting. Their selection of cheese and gifts are unmatched. We always look forward to going there. This time we bought some of their fresh French bread along with several types of cheese and had impromptu picnic.
