We had the worse experience here .. the food was cold ..our eggs and toast .no butter was soft to use.. The food was over priced and to top it off it wasn’t specify and posted on the menu it was an average between prices.. which was way too expensive and then you want to tip on top of that .. not My cup of tea.. That would be the last time I come in this place.

The vibe here is great, and the staff are really nice. I've ordered a bunch of different things, and they've all been good. It's super helpful that they deliver to Biltmore Center too. Whenever I'm in a hurry, I always go for their grilled chicken salad—it's a quick and tasty option.

Well, my wife and I tried Chesnut years ago when it was located on 4;4th st and Camelback. From what we remembered, we had a decent experience. Well, today we tried the new location at the Biltmore and our experience was horrible. We sat for 10 minutes before knowing we had to order at the counter and the waitress looked at us numerous times and did not bother to tell us we had to order at the counter. I requested an omelette, she said we don’t do omelettes., ok, I figured an omelette would be an issue to make bring it more of a breakfast spot. Asked for pancakes, we are out of pancake mix she said. For $45.09 we received saiasage links that were dried and disgusting and the food was much less than average. Potatoes were like eating cardboard. Cook had a Nike golf shirt on and the moment I walked in and saw this I had a funny hunch this is what I thought I would experience t unfortunately. He was talking on his cell phone while he was “cooking”. Wieird dynamic. We will not return. There are countless good quality breakfast places within the proximity. I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but it was so bad I had to.

This is a cute brunch/lunch spot in the Biltmore area! It’s a walk up, order, and find a spot to sit at establishment with a variety of coffee, tea, sweet, and savory selects. Service was casual, decent. I did enjoy they had board games play. I ordered the Corned Beef Hash and The OG. The menu doesn’t establish their prices for that menu item, only the range of the category. I didn’t care for this approach but it was different - it’s like price roulette. The Corned Beef Hash had a great portion for $15.50 and was very filling! Had the beef, 2 eggs, potatoes, onions, and peppers! The OG was okay - biscuit was kinda dry and needed a bit more syrup for the sweet/savory combo. Also ordered a vanilla latte and dirty chai latte which were good. Not too sweet and wasn’t weak in espresso. All in, the 4 items cost $45 so it’s on par with the cost in the area. Overall, it was a decent place and if I’m in the neighborhood, I’d try them out again and order something different.

@chestnutaz Phoenix, recently re-launched at 2398 E Camelback Rd., has been a staple in Arcadia and Biltmore for a decade. Owner Kirsten Steele impresses with her skills, considering her culinary background is simply her love for cooking and community. The menu is influenced by Chestnut Lane’s original concept, as well as innovative takes on local favorites. Additionally, Asian inspired options abound, influenced by Steele’s Chinese heritage, such as the Veggie Banh Mi. Shaved golden beets, butternut squash, and sweet potatoes on ciabatta with sriracha mayo and garlic fluff, are a sweet and savory vegetarian option. The oatmeal with apple compote and milk is a comforting breakfast option, with its baked oats, creamy creme fraiche and candied walnuts. The Phoenix Chopped Salad pays homage to the iconic Cowboy Ciao dish. Chestnut’s creamy pesto dressing, made in-house with roasted pine nuts, Parmesan, and extra virgin olive oil, is a beautiful complement. The house-made pesto also shines in the “Green Eggs and Ham,” on a Buttermilk bun with prosciutto, arugula, and poached eggs. Not to miss are the pastry offerings, like the homemade berry pop tart, stuffed with sweet berry compote inside a flaky crust. Equally as impressive is the cocktail menu. The “Regina” is a smoky and refreshing Palo Santo infused mezcal cocktail. The “Clover Club” is a gin-based berry libation with hibiscus and egg white. The Mocktail menu has superfood options such as the “Nojito”, with blue spirulina, cucumber and lemon. Chestnut Restaurant in Phoenix certainly impresses with its commitment to made-from scratch, locally sourced and flavorful dishes, and empowering female leadership in the culinary world, with almost every leadership position in the restaurant held by women. The extensive menu combines classics along with new culinary spins. Best Breakfast in the Biltmore! Follow @fare_expeditionsaz for more local eats and travel

Not great. Bad service, missed a food item and had to be reminded of a whole second order (there was only 2 people in our party). Excuses from the waiter. No one checked in or brought waters. It's like they aren't really a restaurant. They allowed dogs which is super gross if you are trying to eat. Won't be going back. Pre paying and pre tipping. I wouldn't have tipped 20%.

Service is minimal. You order then they bring it you . You pretip unless you pay cash. No one came and checked us to see how everything was or how we were doing . Not my style. I went there expecting the restaurant over easy which chestnut took over a few months ago. I think it's more for business people in the Biltmore area that don't need anything after they order and just want to be left alone.

I really hate writing bad reviews but the service here was laughable… food was really good but the staff didn’t acknowledge we were in the building for awhile (with an empty restaurant) and then proceeded to ignore us for the majority of the meal. our order was put in wrong (& she thankfully took it off the bill) but we had to call our server over 15/20 minutes into the meal because she never checked on us. We had empty water for half of our meal. She was nice but as someone who works in the service industry it was pretty strange to watch. Again, food was yummy! Order takeout

Loved this cute little space! Parking is limited....IN THE FRONT. There is a back lot as well you might not always notice. The food is reasonably priced and the cocktails are too in comparison to other places around. However the mimosas come in vintage coupe glasses so you're not getting as much, but it's a fair trade for not paying $13 a glass. I absolutely adored the lemon ricotta waffles and enjoyed going around the shop once I finished eating. This place is an amazing addition to Arcadia and I hope to see it thrive!

I normally don’t like leaving bad reviews, but I felt like I needed to share my experience. We arrived a few minutes before 8 AM on a Friday get a coffee. Apparently they open at 8 AM, which seems late for a coffee shop. Regardless, there were seven other cars in the parking lot waiting and The door didn’t open until 8:04 AM. There was only one person taking the orders and making the coffee drinks. That doesn’t make sense, it took about 20 minutes for us to get our coffees. I also brought my dog with me. They told me to go outside with my dog, dogs not allowed. Mind you, there were tables outside but, they had not brought the chairs outside yet. I definitely wanted to sit down and enjoy my coffee. I was disappointed because I was really looking forward to this place being great. The decor was great, such a great location, it has everything to be great. Grrrr I want to love this place but it continues to disappoint. Today we waited 30 minutes for our lunch with two small kids in tow. There was nowhere to sit and others saved seats who ordered long after us. Beware the food you order may not be as described on the menu.. the kids meals are suppose to come with fruit and a cookie. Well they didn't bring out either and when we asked they mentioned their menu was in fact out of date and they begrudgingly brought out fruit but refused the cookies until the owner brought one out much later. Of course they mention theres a sign at the register that states this - no the sign states prices are not as indicted, not that you will get less food than described on the menu. As mentioned in other reviews the staff is not friendly and doesn't like to be bothered. Its extremely loud inside and you can't hear each other. We've had incidents in the past with our credit card being used by other patrons of which the owner said was a mistake until we learned it wasn't. My husband gave this establishment another try today and wished he hadn't...

Apparently this place has been on Osborn for 3 years! Overall good food. The breakfast burrito was good, though I felt it may have been too heavy on potatoes and not enough meat/egg. Also the salsa was necessary to give the burrito added flavor, but they only provided a small side container. I would go back. My wife really enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich. My daughter liked the s'mores pancakes, though I was glad we got the marshmallow on the side, as that would have been a sugar overload!
