Great and unquie cocktails, friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Stopped in for a cocktail before dinner. The atmosphere is cozy and the service was very good. The cocktails were amazing. We were not disappointed with the care and creativity of the drink offerings. I would recommend this place for drinks. We didn't try the hors d'oeuvres, but they look amazing.

Was in search of a green tea shot and happened to be nearby Cheval so my boyfriend and I decided to check it out. They didn’t have green tea shots on their menu but the bartender whipped up their own version and it may have been the most delicious drink I have ever had. Delightful spot for wine, cocktails, and more. I was very impressed with the wine selection and the cocktails are fantastic. Menu is updated frequently. Will definitely return for more and might check out the food next time! We got lucky and were able to snag a table for two just walking in on a Saturday night with no wait.

Drinks were great. Love the atmosphere, but Very small, which made it a little uncomfortable as people were standing all around us(it was a Saturday evening) And we were seated right in front of the front door, so every time it opened it was so cold. Would definitely go back at a less busy time.

Abso-freakin-lutely adorable Craft Cocktail Bar. Felt like we took a Time Machine back to the 1920’s. Drinks were magnificent, the service spectacular, location convenient, atmosphere unmatched! A must experience! It was most excellent!

We've been to Cheval on Main several times. It is always bustling with a great crowd ... and great staff. The decor transports you straight to a Parisian bistro.

Cheval is lovely. It’s simple, straightforward, and sheik. However, it is also deeply layered and offers a wide array of flavors with a small list of niche ingredients. It’s good for a date, a work conversation, or a bar stool alone. It feels timeless in the best way. Most importantly, the service is impeccable- attentive, kind, sharp, and expert-level.

Chavel was an awesome experience. The while energy in the place was Mellow and inviting. The drinks were fantastic and getting a mice cocktail and dessert was really fun. The service was very quick and very friendly. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and the bartender was on top on getting drinks refilled and food out to us. Will be coming back again

This intimate space is perfect for a cocktail bar. It’s a great setting for drinks with friends or coworkers. I tried the Passion Project and my friend got the Flight of the Stumble Bee, both of which were very good. The Passion Project was very minty and refreshing while the Flight was super smoky. Highly recommend!

Really creative, refreshing and beautifully presented cocktails! The espresso martini was so good. Space is well designed to feel cozy but not dark, and it overcomes the streetcar construction happening outside for now. Parking is in the back in the church lot.

What a fun spot. We got here when it opened and were just one of two couples, but we had the best time. The street car development is making quite the challenge for parking etc...but this place was awesome. The vibe is chill and the decor is artsy and historic. From comfy chairs, to booths, or window seats, there wasn't a bad spot in the place to chat and have a cocktail. My drink was delicious, the espresso martini was one of the best I've had, and the service was incredible.

A good vibe place with craft cocktails! The menu constantly changes with 5-6 small bites. Staffs are friendly and will recommend the right drink for your mood😊.

Great drinks with flavor and mixed well. The food is good from share plates and their desserts, but overall quite expensive. I would consider going again if there was a happy hour time, but it was worth the experience for the people I went with it just won't be a place I think of going regularly.

Great place for a pre- and a post-dinner (esp. Tailluer across street - owned by same people). Service was excellent- friendly and efficient, which is a very pleasant combo. Nice addition to Midtown.

We have now had two great experience here! The cocktails are all delicious. A good wine selection. The small bites also were very good. Staff is very friendly and the vibe is comfortable. Prices are as expected (around $15 per cocktail). We will definitely be back!

Cheval is such a vibe! I feel so lucky to own a business next door so that I can pop over after closing for an amazing drink and yummy app or dessert. As soon as you step inside you are immediately transported. The decor is dark, moody, and elegant and it feels like you’re somewhere in Europe. The bartenders are not only friendly but extremely gifted when it comes to crafting drinks. Cheval is truly one of a kind and great on a Thursday night after work or for a special occasion.

Cocktails were awesome and the staff were attentive and friendly. The vibe of the interior is on-point. It uniquely feels both upscale and homey. Basically the same vibe as Taillleur across the street. Very small space that seemed to fill up fast and there's not much room inside to stand around while you wait for a seat to open up. So it's better to visit with a date, not a big group.

New cocktail bar across the street from Tailleur restaurant. Great spot for a drink before or after dinner at the restaurant or a worthwhile destination on its own. The drinks, atmosphere, and service were excellent. We ended up going across the street for dinner at Tailleur and it was also excellent. We will add it to the regular rotation of KC restaurants we frequent.
