I had 1/2 a chicken, salad and beans (comes with a fountain drink. The price was very reasonable. The chicken was delicious. The dining/seating area was very clean and they were mopping the floor when I showed up.

Some of the best chicken I’ve ever had and something I know you would agree with. This place doesn’t get the money they deserve. Great product with great service to match!

Food was old tasting like it had sat around and then was reheated kinda before I got it. The cook came out of the back months bathroom and looked like a zombie on dope.

Don't order the 5+ dollar bean burrito. It's a ripoff

FOOD WAS BELOW AVERAGE. NOTHING SPECIAL. $14 FOR A CHICKEN BURRITO THAT WAS VERY SMALL AND NOT GOOD.ALSO CHARGED ME A EXTRA $1 FOR USING A CARD AND NOT PAYING CASH. GO DOWN THE ROAD 1 MILE TO LOSBETOS PAY HALF THE PRICE AND GET WAYYY BETTER FOOD.

First time trying Chicken Nuevo and the last, if i can give this place no star I would.On Sunday June 2,2024 on the location valencia and tucson blvd we order 2 salads. As i started eating my salad i notice hairs on the salad, I called them to explain the issue person who answer the phone interrupted and started talking to another person, was told to take the salads back and i would get another salad. I explain i dont want nothing replace i want a refund. Really rude They stated they cannot refund me if i want i can get the salads replaced. I take the salads back and the cashier goes by “show me” i showed her pictures and the salads. She tells me the manager is the only one that can refund me the money to call the next day. I call today ask to speak to the manager to my surprise the manager(paty) was worst than the girls the day before, know I understand why the whole team is rude and unprofessional being run by this type of manager.Since the moment she answer the phone she was super argumentative, rude and unprofessional starting by “Okay tell me! I want to make something clear my cookers use head nets and hats, their no way their could be hairs in the salad” “ your saying my cookers got a bunch of hairs and decided to throw them in your salad” and proceeded by telling me she would not be refunding my money and that was final. At no point did she apologize or try to de escalate the situation.She should not be running a business the way she treats customers.

Service was a bit slow, the food was very good but could have been hotter (not spicy, but served hotter).

Good food, slightly high prices for what you get. Restrooms were atrocious. My wife actually gagged from the odor.

The employee that helped me in the drive thru was super nice. But the food was a let down and a waste of money.

Google shows store closes at 8pm. Drive thru person told us "sorry we're closed" 7:50pm...

Food was average. Nothing special. The service could have been better. The workers barely spoke English. The only time I got a thankyou or anything extra than the bare minimum was after I tipped. Will not be returning which is a shame because the food is healthier than most fast food

We like Chicken Nuevo, food is always good. Even my picky toddler likes their chicken and rice. Their family meals are always a good option for dinner. My only complaint would be sometimes the wait is long in drive through, although I can appreciate that my food will be fresh so sometimes the wait is worth it

Why change your taco salad? You have a poster that shows expectation/reality of the old salad but your prices have gotten higher, your new packing is cheap and leaking and now the salad is smaller! What am I paying for? I will just save my money, stay home and make my own now. Thanks.

Hello, my Family were first time customers on Thursday night Feb 8- at 2570 Valencia At 7:30 pm order #12630. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in my 44 years of life; and here is why… as soon as we entered the establishment, someone was taking all of the salsas away and setting them on the counter to be put away (yes, closing is 8pm). Some of the salads were almost gone and were not fresh since they were out all day. The people behind us in line were turned away because there was no more chicken. We must have gotten the very last of it , telling me it wasn’t fresh. Not the best first impression. The chicken was warm, but not for long, cold by the time I finished a leg (thigh next). Macaroni salad was very bland. Refried beans were just ok. Good flour tortillas though. We felt rushed through our meal the moment we walked in the door. We were told/rushed  at 7:55 that they were closing at 8 and we had 10 mins. The door had already been locked before 8pm, we saw someone lock it and had to have it unlocked for us at 7:58 when we tried to open the door to leave. We left our tray of uneaten sub par food on the table and the girl said we “needed to….land I stopped her and said “no we do not , you rushed is out of here so we are leaving” She told me I did not need to be rude… but told her what is RUDE is… being rushed through a meal we PAID for and it wasn’t even 8pm and are being told we have 10 mins to finish. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry and rushing someone through a meal is a big no no, And you don’t turn customers away 20 minutes before closing. Can you imagine how many customers they turn away and how much money is lost ??? I will never come back and will tell everyone I know about this terrible dining experience. If your employees only concern is clocking out at 8pm then change your policy to “to go orders only after 7:30 pm.” The girl picked our tray up , DIRTY TRAY, wiped it down with a dry paper towel and set it on the clean tray pile as I watched her when I got in my car to leave. That’s a health hazard and is one more thing to add to this disgusting experience. Never again. These employees need proper training on customer service AND cleanliness. Terrible.

taco food was tasteless..kitchen prepper was rude and uncaring..soup was just ok..too much cheese in the broth made for stringy soup

Very friendly counter service. Chicken taco salad was huge with lots of tasty white meat, romaine, tomatoes, rice and beans is a nice crispy taco shell. It was huge and very good. Ranch dressing or salsa are the only options. Quesadilla had lots of meat and cheese, but needed to be heated. Cheese was not melted, meat lukewarm. ( we were dining in, so it should have been hot) Dining area is big and clean, we were the only customers ,so it felt a bit sad. I would eat the salad again, but not the quesadilla. Wnr.

My family and I love this place but the service was horrible. Very bad experience with the cashier. on the date of December 30, 2023 at 6 o’clock the young lady that was working there lied to me about food not being ready was upset because I decided to wait then proceed to have an attitude with me. It was very disrespectful very unprofessional, I will not return to this place.

The food deals are pretty great! The food wasn't half bad. Was quite a bit for the price i was satisfied. They had a deal on thursday for buy a drink and a burrito get a burrito free an there pretty good size. My friends said their taco meat was tough. Well anyways i enjoyed it try for your self :) also have a beautiful day

Very good roasted chicken. A little disappointed in the flour tortillas, not as good as some other Mexican restaurants that also serve handmade tortillas.

I just recently tried this establishment, and the chicken combos with 2 sides is spot on. Friendly staff and clean atmosphere to dine in. The price on the menu is very reasonable for the portions you received.

Bland food. Chicken tasted like it was boiled then put on grill, Not much flavor. Rice and beans were tasteless And it came with corn on the cob that was over boiled also.

Its no bad but for a vacationer lookin for chicken taco it was below average the chicken had bones in it i coulda stayed home and made my own better not cool service was fast the counter people were like blurry dream they were moving like supernatural desert beings put my ninjas training to practice now i have to retrain in the mountains. to atmosphere what amto it was quite like the grave but if your hungery.

Very good place. Never been to a Chic Nuevo. Lots of good roasted chicken prepared without breading. Excellent flavor. The 2 sides I tried, pinto, and rice, were quite satisfactory.

Chicken burrito I took to go was dry and had no flavor for 10 bucks. If I would have gotten some salsa as I requested it most likely been much better, took forever for them to make it, workwrs seemed unorganized

This is the place I chose to go for a healthier alternative for fast food. They offer a Grilled Chicken and a Salad bar. The Chicken is a bit on the dry side, but still flavorful. The sides offered are the traditional choice of rice, beans, macaroni or salad. It's worth a try for something a bit more of what your Cardiologist would recommend.

Food is great. The chicken, rice, and beans never disappoint. My personal favorite is the crunchy chicken tacos.

Paid $60 for 3 meals (3 tacos, quesadilla, and a #6). Food wasn't bad but not amazing for the price. Inside was clean and nice. A self-service location no table service.

Food was decent but not having black beans in Tucson is crazy. Then please get sweet tea so people don't have to ask multiple times if the tea is sweet and then drive off with unsweetened tea.

I ordered the crispy tacos and all my taco toppings were outside of the taco, not inside! I took a pic for reference. There wasn't even that much sour cream, just a little dollop on the side. The service was nice and so was the atmosphere, but the food, the reason to come, was so horribly prepared!

Dated and a bit less clean than what is required, but the service was OK and the food was paletable.

I hate the fact they ask for tips in the drive through. They provide no more service than the minimum and expect a tip but don’t even go far enough to put napkins in your bag. It always makes me feel bad leaving here but like I’m not tipping fast food unless I’m provided over the top service. Foods good tho just leave feeling like an A hole.

Watch out if you get a chicken quesadilla from here, got halfway through one and found two rib bones. Hopefully I didn't eat one without realizing.

Excellent Chicken!!! Moist and seasoned just right. The place is really clean too, which is a huge plus for me. Great meal!

I had difficulty understanding the menu, and that influenced my first impression. One menu had a glitchy screen, which made it nearly impossible to read, and I missed a lot of information. The horchata was the same price as the fountain drinks, but it was hidden behind the counter, and it was luck that I spotted it. A plain cheese quesadilla consumed by my dining companion was not as good as a homemade one I was told. The flavor of the spivy chicken salad was excellent, but the shell it was served in was too oily to be enjoyed. If the menu was redone to focus on clarity for the consumer, this would change my rating from 4 to 5.

Tasty smoky flavor and fresh salsa, pico de gallo. Very friendly nice staff. I'm not a big fan of the building but overall it was nice bite to eat.

I started a new job in the vicinity of this fabulous gem of a restaurant and I am in love! I haven’t tried everything on the menu, best believe I will, but the Fried Chicken Tacos are delish! I also loved the Red Chili Chicken Nachos (I apologize if I absolutely destroyed the actual name on the menu). Great food! 👍🏼

They charge for sauces 😂😂 after I left them a tip too they wanted to charge me for sauce. How lame. Ive never heard of a Mexican restaurant charge for sauces

Will NEVER eat here again! The cook Claudia made a very rude comment about my weight and how much food I ordered, the manager heard and didn't even address it. People like her are paid to serve our food not to judge customers abouy being overweight because of what they eat. I hope this person gets fired. No one should ever feel as humiliated as I did today!

Chicken was good costumer service was questionable the lady that seemed to be the manager was talking rudely to the rest of the staff ,mabe she was having a bad day , but the thing that i didn't like is that i came in to oder so l was speaking Spanish with my family made made my oder they got me rice instead of bean , So i tell them then they go ahead and gave me my beans but not with out saying (watch they still going to eat the the rice ) in inglish, she was not knowing that i do speak inglish i i heard Those comments she can keep to her self and it would not be a problem or make my order right the first time

Always love the food. Downside was the strong chemical smell in the seating near the restrooms, we had to move. Seems like whatever chemical is used for the floors.

This location has an excellent manager (Belén I think is her name). She alway seems to have her staff well trained. I was in and out with my order on 5 minutes, in a good mood because of funny conversation with an employee. 5 stars!

Messed up my order, wasting my time to come back. Half-chicken was only 2 pieces! Will not be coming back.

If you want something different as normal fasfood you're right here at Chicken Nuevo. The taste is great and the size of the meals is big.

Waited 30mins in drive thru line when no one was there. They claimed they had staffing problems. What I ordered: a chicken combo and two orders of crispy chicken tacos no onions . What I got: 2 chicken combos and 1 order of chicken tacos LOTS of onion. Missing salsa and missing tortillas. When trying to call them to ask If I can drive back to get the right order they hung up on me . I tried calling back multiple times and they would answer the line and hang back up. Didn’t want to drive way out there for more problems or spit in my food so I just left it as is and decided to write this review. I normally don’t write reviews but this isn’t the first time this has happened. I understand right now businesses are struggling but the way they treated me from the start plus the employees ALWAYS have attitudes I don’t feel bad for them. Sucks because the food is good just not the customer service.

If only there was a NO star option either a thumbs down I would definitely! Ordered the half chicken platter wit refried beans and the macaroni salad. Drove a mile after getting my good...opened it and had refried beans all over the chicken. Such a messy and sloppy platter. Turned around and asked for another platter. Manager came out and she was super super rude and wouldn't replace my platter and wouldn't give me a refund of $13.05! She does NOT deserve to be a manager when all she wants to do is argue with the customer. Yelling in her native language that I don't understand. They need to get rid of her and rehire all new staff...worse experience ever!! Got a # for the Corporate and I pray they get rid of her..its no wonder people had bad reviews. Food is not prepared wit love. Jus an ugly and bad vibe environment...never going back to this location!!

Not impressed. I didn't know burrito would be all dark meat. They forgot the sour cream. The beans were great! The burrito not so much. My friend had chicken tacos and enjoyed them very much (but they forgot the guac. Both sour cream and guac were charged for. They shut down part of the restaurant at night and turn the lights off in that section. Including myself, 3 people came in and asked if they were open. It was 7:15pm. They closed at 8. Again, not impressed. But I heard that their tortilla soup was tasty! Because it's beside my hotel, I'll probably try it.
