I thought the wings here were very filling and the sauces were all so good. the wings are tinier than average, but they are still decently sized. It is a little expensive, but I think this place is worth the cost. The boba here however is not that great but is drinkable. This place is better for takeout than eating at the place. Service is fast and food is fresh.

This is the best fried chicken place in Pittsburgh! I don't know what magic they mix in their fried chicken batter, but it's CRISPY, FLAVORFUL, and ADDICTIVE. The Calamari Tempura, Pork Gyoza, and Bubble Tea are also delicious. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Got the sweet and spicy and the spicy soy garlic and both were nice and crispy. Also got the takoyaki. Outside flavoring was delicious but didn’t like the overall texture. It was more doughy than octopus filled (photo attached) giving it a wet and mushy flavor. First time I had it so maybe this typical, just not my preference.

The best fried chicken ever! The shell is incredibly crispy, and the spicy soy garlic sauce is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend!

A worthwhile spot for a filling lunch under $20. Visited for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised with the speed of service and quality of my food and drink. Located right in the heart of Pitt campus.

They have got the best fried chicken wings. Their spicy soy garlic sauce is to die for. I usually get the large jasmine green milk tea to go along with it.

I come here every other day! I love the soy garlic korean fried chicken. I recommend the black milk tea with peach bursting pearls.

Got the small box of wings. Seasoning was a little sweet and not as flavorful as other Korean wings I’ve had before, and chicken was a little dry.

This place is the best! Everything I’ve had from here is delicious every time. They have the best chicken wings— they’re so crunchy. My son loves the boba from here too. Great place !

Great food & fast service. In the summer, the storefront is opened like a patio, giving it an edge over the other restaurants on this block. The only downside is that recently the website for ordering pickup ahead of time stopped allowing you to order beverages, so I have to order & wait in store. The milk tea was certainly worth waiting for, but it's slightly less convenient on a busy workday.

Great food, the spicy soy garlic is very good and I love all the variety of bubble tea flavors. This is a small business with few people so there might be a little wait if there are a lot of people and it seems like there is no dine-in because the place is so small. Very good price and good food.

I would walk over broken glass for this chicken! The takoyaki and bubble/boba tea are just icing on the cake. I moved back to Pittsburgh recently, and this was the first stop I made.

They raise their price and wings are much much smaller than before. I used to love them so much. Ordered every weekend. I order it again recently and found out they are way way way smaller than before. I hate restaurants that raise their price and shrink their food size. You can’t sneakily do it both ways at the same time. I’ll never come back again.

I'm an Uber delivery driver. I walked in and there was a couple placing an order. Without asking for the name on my order i was told it was almost ready. 25 minutes later, after doing the same thing to more delivery drivers, they finally started bringing out orders. But not mine. They finally asked my name and i was informed it was still cooking. They need to understand we don't get paid to wait, and an honest wait time estimate would be greatly appreciated.

My go to place for fried chicken and takoyaki. Chicken is super crispy and tender, just amazing flavors all around. I don’t know what happened to this place. Before the pandemic they had huge juicy wings and now post Covid they have little baby dinky wings…but still delicious!

In fairness, I have never been to Korea for legit Korean fried chicken. Having seen the legendary fried chicken on TV (wife and family watch K dramas), I had a craving. Luckily, the food is great! The fried chicken is some of the best in the city. Can't get enough! Wings are on the smart side and wish they had more flavors, but delicious. One of my local favorites.

Is this chicken for ants?? The wings are the tiniest I've ever seen in my life. Less than 2 inches in length. One bite and it's done. Alot of menu items are out of stock (sad for the tteokbokki + gangjeong chicken) Also ordered soy garlic and sweet + spicy but only got 2 orders of all soy garlic. Gone downhill since I've first started eating here in 2016. It's sad because used to drive here 1.5hrs to eat here cause it was so good. Now it's not even worth it living nearby.

Really crispy wings! I ordered the soy garlic glaze and the skin shattered when I bit into it. I also got a black milk tea with peach flavor and tapioca pearls. It was all delicious. I'll definitely go back. They are friendly, too.

The Korean fried wings are amazing! I like the sweet & spicy sauce. They’re so crispy and crave-able. Sometimes a slight wait when they’re busy in the evening - but always v friendly! Recommend!

If you’ve ever been to South Korea and had the street fried chicken this will feel nostalgic. Great chicken wing sauce! Excellent customer service. Placed a to go order and waited about 15-20min. Will be back!

This is one of my favorite places to get lunch. The chicken gang jeong with the spicy soy garlic sauce is absolutely delicious. And spicy!! I always pair my spicy chicken with a jasmine green milk tea with tapioca pearls and lychee jelly. The tea helps cool the spice from the chicken. It’s my favorite pairing! In any case, I highly recommend this spot. Enjoy!

This is the only Korean fried chicken spot near Pitt's campus (to my knowledge). Their chicken is crispy but definitely not mind blowing nor the best I've had. Is this the best you'll probably get around campus? Yes, there's not many other options. Their lunch combo is pretty worth and I like the chicken gangjeong with spicy soy garlic. If you want boba around campus, I'd recommend the Kung Fu Tea truck (if it's still around) or Fuku across the street. Every order is made fresh so sometimes if there's lots of people, it could take a while for you to get yours.

Their chicken was quite good. Perfectly fried, but just needed a bit more flavor. I was not a fan of their milk tea and boba.

This place is great as a quick in and out. The chicken, tea, and Tteokbokki were good, and I'd definitely grab it again if I we're in Oakland craving chicken. Bubble tea is great! Sooo many flavors and options! They seal it themselves and offer slushees and smoothies as well! Their wings are so good & crispy!

Stopped here earlier today for the first time for some bubble tea. Once I was inside, the food smelled so good I just had to get some. I ordered a taro bubble tea, soy garlic chicken, & fried pork dumplings. Everything was SO good!! The wings were the best wings I have ever had, they were crispy & the sauce was amazing. Pork dumplings were very good, & the bubble tea was also much better than any other I have tried. My son loved everything too, & he is usually a very picky eater. On top of that, the service was just so friendly & helpful. He even brought my order outside to me so I didn’t have to struggle with my stroller through the door. I will definitely be back!

Chicken tenders w soy garlic is really good, and the Chicken is good quality. The boba is really good too, I usually don’t like tea but the tea here is great!

Honestly the best wings I've had in Pittsburgh (Korean Fried Chicken but basically a wing with awesome Korean style sauce). Three different delicious sauces (one is very spicy). Drinks are also very refreshing. Haven't tried any of the apps.

Love the chicken but the manager actually messed up my order and I was only refunded 30pcs chicken wing back when I bought 60 and only 2/6 were spicey & sweet. I order here often and I order the same thing every time. But decided I’d get more wing(count) this time but I guess I fumbled. Still going to return but definitely rubbed me the wrong way.

Wow!!!! Tried for the first time and I already want to go back!! Tried the sweet and spicy wings, dumplings and fries. The fries were fine, nothing to get excited about, but oh my god the wings and dumplings were soooooo good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The wings were still crunchy after sitting around for a bit in the sauce. The sauce was the perfect combo of sweet and spicy. The dumplings were fried and so perfect. I kinda wish they had a dumpling sauce, but they were so good, they didnt need any sauce. Highly reccomend!

Best fried chicken wings in Pittsburgh? Very possible. It's always so crispy and flavored well. Their dumplings and takoyaki are fantastic as well. 10/10! I recommend the spicy soy garlic wings.

I only ever get bubble tea and takoyaki from here but I think the takoyaki is really good, and the bubble tea is solid. And I dont really know other places nearby where you can get it. Also if you buy something from oishii bento next door, you get a discount on bubble tea :)

It’s decent food & good bubble tea, but it took a ridiculous amount of time to get a small order of chicken & a bubble tea. Definitely better places out there.

I love having Korean food options in the area

I called for pick up. Order was to be ready in 15 minutes and when I walked in after 20 the boxes were open on the counter not yet packed in bags. That’s when I knew this place was legit. They kept my order open on the counter so the chicken wouldn’t get soggy. They know what the heck they’re doing. The texture of the wings was top shelf crispity and not overcooked and the tatsuta age was exquisite. Next time I’ll get spicy garlic sauce. The medium was a lot for two people not in terms of amount but just in terms of amount of sweet sauce. Sweet potato fries were just decent. I look forward to trying their calamari and octopus balls. Didn’t know you could eat that part of the octopus to be honest.

If you know about Korean Fried Chicken this is one of the few spots in Pittsburgh that have it. I would say its just about right there with Bonchon in the DMV area as far as taste goes. Boba tea is good too, parking can be a pain in Oakland but is worth it.

This place is phenomenal. Hands down some of the best Korean chicken around. Must eat!

Solid value and delicious! We both got the Chicken Gang Jeong. The Spicy Soy Garlic knocked me on my butt but was 'legit' for my spicy loving husband! The Sweet and Spicy was much more my pace :) The seasoned fries were a tasty addition, and the Taro milk tea with lychee burstings was delicious. Notes: No veggie dishes! You will feel the salt in your body afterward haha. No fountain drinks. Only water is bottled water (not free).

Great spot! The chicken is light and crispy, and while they dont offer a ton of flavors, what they do have is delicious. A bit expensive, but still worth it. Staff is generally pretty friendly, though they have been rather rude on occasion.

Amazing. I'm from Houston, and this is the first authentic bubble tea I've had in all of Pittsburgh. Tastes just like the one in Houston's Bellaire Chinatown. The tea is not too sweet/sugary either and their flavor options are great. They have a nice value lunch special ... The korean fried chicken wings are so tasty!!! Definitely worth the slight wait. Service is very friendly as well and they were patient when I couldn't decide what to order. 100% recommend!

The chicken is incredible. The tenders with original sauce is a great go to. Last few times we went the boba tea wasnt cold when it got to us. They just need to shake it with more ice, I guess. I would love if they added a hibiscus flavor! Strawberry hibiscus black milk tea is 💯🌺

I've been going here for years now! However me and my friend stopped by tonight and the passion fruit green tea we ordered (we get the same thing every time)was very bitter and tasted as though it had salt in it. This was the first ever disappointed visit I've had. Hope it's the last...

Driven by this place several times and was always captivated by the fun colors on their sign outside. Decided to stop in today and was not disappointed! (other than the 20 minute wait). The taro smoothie with boba was quite good and I was happy that the boba was still chewy unlike some places I've tried where it's begun to disintegrate before I've even had my first sip.

Chicken is ALWAYS good. The bubble teas are pretty delicious also.

You go to Chick'n Bubbly for the delicious, crispy, perfectly sauced Korean fried chicken wings. Also on the menu is a variety of sides (I enjoy the sweet potato fries) and bubble tea, which complement the chicken well. But really what makes this place unique is the chicken. I can't think of to many places in Pittsburgh that serve anything quite like it.
