Nice clean place good food good people good workers

The oil that they were using wasn't hot enough so instead of cooking my fried rice and cooking my shrimp toast it absorbed into my food making it very greasy. It also didn't taste very fresh. It's a shame as this used to be a great restaurant.

The BEST Chinese food in town! They were closed a while back for renovations (I believe) and we had to call another Chinese restaurant to order dinner.. all of us, four in total, got sick from the Chinese food that night! I would never cheat on my China Sky again!

The food here is great. I suggest trying the chicken fried rice!

I was starving at 9:45pm on my home from an MRI, and they were open, plus their reviews were great. I deviated from my norm, Tai Jiang, and placed an order. It smelled delicious driving home a few blocks. I started with my wonton soup, and I could barely take a second sip even though I wanted to...I ordered 2 quarts. Then I moved on to my beef and broccoli. I can't describe the taste, but the meat tasted rancid. I really wanted to like this place, and I am bummed that I can't.

Exactly what I'm looking for when I want local Chinese food. Tried this spot for the first time today and I hope to be back soon! Crab Rangoons were very good too.

This is one of the best Chinese restaurant in Bridgeport, CT! I have been buying Chinese food from them for 11 years since I was a kid to a young adult. When I first started coming here food was $6 (2010) now it’s $10 (2024). I can truly say I had an excellent experience here. Love me some China Sky. ♥️ Lol.

..I don’t know what I feel about this point. When I had first moved to Connecticut, we always bought from here. Reasonable prices, and it was the closest thing to my house. This food got pretty mid after buying here for a few times. The rice and noodles are flavorless, the meat is like rubber. I can’t tell the different between some meals and some other meals because the flavoring is so repetitive. Do NOT come here if you’re looking for authentic Chinese food.

Basic Chinese food. Just ok nothing great about it. The egg rolls were extremely greasy and tasted like oil.

Extremely greasy food with oil pouring out of the dumplings and beef lo mein. Would not recommend. The portion sizes were very large and great for the price, however.

I called to see about payment options and it was a little hard to talk on the phone because of the background noise but we came and got some food anyways. The food was great! I wasn't disappointed!

First time having it. Was recommended here by a co worker and it did not disappoint. Excellent service!!! Ordered in person, went to the liquor store and the food was about ready when we came back. Excellent chicken and broccoli/sesame chicken. Rice was really good! Highly recommend!!!!

Discovered China Sky awhile ago and ordered there many times. Food was acceptable, better than elsewhere in the area. Today it was huge disappointment. Beef with broccoli was a throwaway and I have reasons to believe it was not beef. General Tso chicken was sweetened to not edible degree. Crossing out this restaurant from my list.

Ordered the General Tso's combo plate, it was amazing, the chicken was tender and and more importantly not over cooked, the fried rice had a really good flavor and i love that they add sprouts in the rice, and the egg roll was probably the best ive ever had, this place is well worth it.

Literally love this place i’ve been going here ever since i was in 4th grade and my friends parents worked here and they’ve always been so nice to me and always offer me a free wonton soup when i go there literally hands down amazing chinese.

Bravo to them for keeping up with what is becoming the lost art of classic "chinese" take out....Listen I know its not Authentic or Food eaten in china & by most chinese families but when done right it's still delicious and made to american tastes... keeping doing what you are doing..

SUPREME EGG ROLLS. When i saw that review listed 4-5 times, i was "IN." They were RIGHT! BEST EGG ROLLS EVER! Great portions. Quick polite service. clean. Masks. Boneless Spareribs-Awesome. LoMein-Awesome! Chicken & Cashews-Awesome! Beef & Broccoli-Awesome. Next time im getting 8-10 egg rolls! And a huge container of Won Ton Soup. Only negative, too much white rice. But i also loved the recycle containers so we could heat them in the microwave instead of the cardboard with metal. Loved it.

The food was excellent and the fried rice was amazing and well done, and the Lo Mein was sublime. I have had tgis kind of food at other restaurants but they really hit the spot. I would put more stars if I could, I definitely recommend.

It's so nostalgic, I've been coming here with my mother and brother, and the people here are so diverse and very friendly to get along with.

I cant fully review it as I only went once. I will try it again and review it again. I went and got the chicken broccoli the general tso, boneless spare rib and chicken lo mein. The garlic sauce is very sweet and has good texture. The general tso was a spicy by default and tasted very good. The boneless spare ribs are good but a bit more bbq sauce would have made it great. The chicken lo mein was I guess normal I have had better but the chicken was good. The only reason I did not give it a 5 is because on my way out they forgot to put the boneless spareribs in the bag. The guy ran out to give us the food but the rice was still missing. I was to tired to go back and get it. Overall it was not as pricey as other chinese place. For all 4 orders I paid a total of 24 dollars. Was also surprised they did not give a free drink with my order. Usually they do in other chinese places. Sorry did not take photos but will the next time around.

This place has been in that building for a long time...food is good..they take your order and your out of there in a flash. Sometimes when they are bombarded by the neighborhood crowd you might have to wait a little more....decor is non existent, steady stream of customer at any given time. same look behind counter as other restaurants of this type, same price range as others give or take a buck. white Glover and fastidious do yourself a favor don't do chinese

Long time neighborhood staple so they must be doing something right, to me the food is average.The location on Fairfield Avenue (state route 130 ) is very busy with insufficient parking.The black rock neighborhood is definitely the finest in Bridgeport just over the Fairfield town line and is close to St. Mary'_by_the_ sea.Good thing to do would be to eat and go for a stroll by the sea or take the food and eat it while overlooking the sea.
