This is my go-to spot. We come from Hagerstown because the price and taste. I haven't had one thing that was bad, so far.

I’ve been eating here for 10+ years and the food hasn’t changed. Expect the same quality food and service everyone. Food is delicious and the best in Martinsburg area hands down! Give them a try you won’t regret it!

Order takeout and literally send you 40 dollars worth of food and no sauces in the bag who in the hell wants Chinese food with soy sauce

The place is very neat and clean. I ordered my son's favorite Kung Pao Chicken and Chicken Lo Noodles, and he ate them both. I will take him there next time!

This used to be my go to place for Chinese. Sadly, it tasted bad and the beef was gray in color (not sure this is beef - nasty), made me sick to stomach - I threw it away. Will never go back.

The food here was not terrible it was disgusting we ordered combination Fried rice, combination lo mein both were horrible with very little meat and the chicken i don't even know what to say rubbery it almost tasted like pasta. Also ordered mongolian beef all I can say it was mongolian onions the beef was almost non existent just a few slivers here and there needless to say i will never be back there. Try the Japanese place next door so much better!! actually any place in that area is better, don't waste your money.

Very clean, efficient, and economical specializing in Chinese cuisine. Combination platters were large and delicious. We bought Pork Egg Foo Young and Shrimp w/ Lobster sauce. Shrimp toast very good, too. 3 adults and 1 child $ 32.00 total cost. Highly recommend.

First time we got there food it was really good the second time we went there and got orange chicken wasn't even good it was just soggy then we went there last night the food was horrible got the combo BBQ ribs they were burnt they put a lot of barbecue sauce on it to make it look like it wasn't burnt we ordered spring rolls egg rolls because I'm allergic to Seafood it came with the combination so my fiance told me I could have his Eggroll since I didn't barely eat went to bite into it and it had freaking shrimp had to take Benadryl immediately and my fiance ordered the same egg rolls and they were supposed to be spring rolls last night we threw the food out it was horrible we will not be coming back

This place has extremely disgusting fake feeling, looking, and tasting "beef" I've ever seen. Gave me fried rice instead of the white rice I ordered for takeout. Fried rice is not good. Spring and egg rolls tasted bad. The Japanese place beside it is thousands of times better in every way possible. This place deserves maybe a 2 star overall rating. This is very cheaply made food with no soul in it.

I don’t know what people are giving this place such a bad rap for, it’s your average Chinese food. Place is always clean. Food is priced competitively.

Terrible. The food has the taste of food that's left out uncovered in a refrigerator. It didn't taste fresh and made my stomach upset after only a couple bites. I got the dragon and Phoenix and shrimp toast and it went in the trash. Both items had the same "off" taste. The entree was soggy and the shrimp toast was extremely oily as if they didnt drain it after frying. Don't waste your money or you will be disappointed. There's too many other better Chinese spots to go to.

Worst Chinese food around! Would have given it zero stars if possible. Chicken was heavily breaded and contained very little meat. Ordered general Tso’s chicken and it wasn’t anywhere close to it! Also, they filled the container with what they call fried rice, and placed a few pieces of chicken on top to make it look like it was full. Lesson learned!

My family and I love China Spring.

First and last ordering from here. Sweet and sour chicken was not just bad it was horrible. There was. Othimg but old pieces of chicken soft and soggy with no pineapple peppers sauce or sesame seeds. I have never had food this bad in my 70 years of life. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money

Grate food very Friendly people

First time coming here....it was not great. Flavor seems off on things, and I've never had dark wanton soup before? There were not very many wanton in it either. I wish I had gone to Chipotle. It's just strange. I really wanted to love everything. Shame.

Just okay, fried rice tasteless

I tried to give this place another chance today and went and got some chicken and broccoli but when I got back home to see my food the broccoli had a bug in it lets just say don't eat hear unless you like bugs in your broccoli I will never ever eat hear again no way

I got the pepper steak but to my surprise all peppers n no steak next time just gonna get a steak from the grocery store cuz really just over priced basically paid just for peppers rip off the rice was dry

I always ordered from them at least twice a week. But last order was overdo from a day before and i took it back for a fresh order or refund. I didn’t eat but a table spoon an brought it all back. They just said “ NO REFUND” so i leave it on the counter. Pretty sure they wouldn’t eat the food they are selling to customers. Never order from them again.

I purchased the Seafood Special and Triple Delight from the House Specialty menu. Both dishes were so nasty, I had to throw both away. The smell was so horrendous, I nearly lost my cookies…not my fortune cookies! I will never eat from that establishment again.

Spring rolls are yummy and there the rest of the food was also yummy

We got carry out here recently and were very disappointed. My wife said the dumplings were the worst she had ever had.

we decided to try this place due to the prices at China Star constantly increasing. Nope. We always order a big order for the family and love all the left overs. This was a mistake. We now have a bunch of not great leftovers, actually not even good leftovers. The food lacked flavor. We ordered shrimp egg rolls, won ton soup, orange chicken, egg Fu yung, coconut shrimp, general tso's chicken, and dumplings. The egg Fu yung was extremely "eggy, slimy like". It was so lack luster on taste. You could tell they were frozen and then heated up. It was horrible. The coconut shrimp was tiny pieces of shrimp with So much whatever breading that was really mushy semi pie dough like, it was weird. And again, no flavor. The dumplings were okay, but again felt frozen and reheated in a microwave. Had so much "water" inside them. The egg rolls were ok, just no flavor and extremely brittle. The general TSO's was ok, tasted like store bought but less spice. The orange chicken didn't even taste like orange chicken. There was no spice to it, no orange kick, it tasted like weak thicken up sauce poured over nuggets. And the won ton's in the soup we're very very mushy, they literally couldn't be picked up with my chop sticks. You had to spoon them out. Again, like they were frozen or something. I guess, we'll stick to our normal place. Won't go back here. Really upset we tried saving some money for the the lesser value of food.

Most popular dishes here are great, my favorite Chinese food place. The pork fried rice is amazing. The egg rolls, sweet n sour chicken and sesame chicken are great. Do not order the soups, terrible.

Good selection of main courses and appetizers, freshly made just minutes before serving. Sushi bar is sparse but fresh selections are always available. Desert island is stocked with sugared donuts and fresh fruit as well as puddings and jello. Two can eat their fill for under twenty bucks. Tip your servers generously because they are on the ball; topping drinks and clearing plates, so you always have a clean table.

The food is excellent, fresh, hot and delicious. Excellent staff.

Always great service an amazing tasting food!

I'm relatively new to the area, and finding a restaurant with food I'm actively willing to pay for has been difficult. But this Chinese food is some of the best I've ever had. It's tasty and fresh and not too greasy. I definitely will be coming back.

This is the only place in our area to get General Tso Tofu that I have found.

***Update 05Oct18 - Well, we finally..FINALLY managed to find our new 'China Spring' in NC...'Golden China Restaraunt'. That said, this will be my final post under this review, as sad as I know that is for all of my loyal readers. I must thank you all for your support during these dire times of 'China Spring' withdrawal. Their crab rangoons that explode because they are WAY TOO stuffed will always be very fond memories for us. Our Christmas General Tso's and Pepper Chicken feast under the tree each year will need to be a continued tradition here with our new Golden China. Farewell All! ***Update 11Aug18 - We have thus far been fruitless in our pursuit of discovering cuisine comparable to our China Spring near our new home some 400 miles away. We shall continue on our mission to fulfill this absolutely necessary requirement in hopes that we shall soon be satiated! ***Update 04Jul18 - It is with great sadness that we will no longer be able to enjoy the AWESOMENESS of China Spring as we are moving away. We will miss their Crab Rangoons and General Tsos BIGTIME! Please read on below for our original review. Farewell China Spring...Farewell! 😪 The ONLY place we order Chinese from! The food has been consistently GREAT since they opened years ago. Online menu and ordering makes it even easier.

China Spring is an okay option for Chinese food at a very reasonable price. Their service is quick and it is good for a last minute take out close to home.

I was looking for some wings to have for lunch (I work third shift) I stopped at a Pizza shop next to it and they were closed (hours to close was 10:00 PM and it was only 9:30) I did not want to run around looking for food since my shift would start in a half hour. I wanted bbq wings and they did make them this way even though it was not on their menu. They were really good and flavorful. I would go there again

We were staying at a hotel in Falling Water and this place was suggested by the front desk clerk. He knew what he was talking about, because I had some of the BEST Hot And Sour Soup ever! We also ordered the Beef on a Stick which was tender, flavorful and delicious. For our entrees, we ordered the General Tso's Chicken and Chicken Chow Mein. Both were exactly as they should be prepared. The fortune cookies were also crisp which is a telltale sign of a good business. I will be back to enjoy this again.

Good food and excellent service--we enjoyed eating here. The prices were very reasonable and the portions large enough to provide us with lunch the next day.

Stopped in for a quick meal. It is set-up like a fast food restaurant with counter, open cooking in back and several small tables out front. The food was average along with the portions.

I have eaten at this restaurant at least a dozen times and enjoyed every single meal there. My personal favorite is the won ton soup, because of the wonderful taste, and it is always piping hot. Their fried rice and boneless wings are excellent too.
