Yummo!!! Best Chinese food in town!

I like the fact that you can drive through. However, the staff does not listen. My last visit there. The warm tones were not fried enough and crispy. They have a tendency to overfry the sesame seed chicken, it's too hard. Other than that they're o k but they're a bit expensive

I know, I know. 5 stars for a takeout place, but hear me out! This is better than any other I've tried in the 5 years I've lived here. Best part? They don't use zucchini to replace every other veg in the dishes like the rest do. I now despise zucchini. Best flavor, and no abdominal upset, so more than likely, no msg is used.

The food was really hot and fresh… however, this has to be the worst Chinese food in Savannah. I wanted to love it I just couldn’t. I ordered the combination plate and that whole order was wrong. The garlic chicken is not garlic. The plate listed chicken rice but they gave me plain white rice. I had to pay for the egg roll separately even though it said one came with the meal. Workers are the best thing there.

The customer service was fine. Food was ok. I got general tso & honey wings. Both were overly sauced, sweetly. Unfortunately, my daughter didn’t eat the wings & she loves loves wings. Also, the rice was crunchy.

I use to go to a China Wok in North Charleston, SC when I was a little girl, but it shutdown. Fast forward years later and I’m going over the overpass on 204 and saw the name of the restaurant and instantly said, “I need to try that spot.” It’s exactly like I remembered. The boneless spare ribs are the best I’ve ever had. The food was hot and fresh and the service was excellent.

I ordered rice noodles with pork, chicken and shrimp and a serving of honey wings. Listen, I will NEVER eat here again. Vomiting and pooping since this morning early. It's now 11:46pm and I'm still sick. The wings are OLD! You guys have to do better. This is people's digestive system that you're talking about. Please make fresh food DAILY!

I love this place. Has fantastic chicken and broccoli dumplings aren't like they used to be but all the usual American Chinese food are a 10/10 Lo main is awesome here.

All food ordered was very good. Krab Rangoon, Egg Rolls, Egg Drop Wonton mix (about 8-10 wontons in my large container!), steamed pork buns, fried rice, white rice, coconut chicken, chicken wings, hunan beef, general tsos, lo mein. Happy with everything and even though it's a 30 minute drive one way for us, we're only going here from now on.

Well worth the drive to Georgetown. They use quality ingredients and we've never had to guess what we were eating. Owner at the register takes great care to ensure they get your order correct. This place is great food for takeout! Always fresh vegetables and chicken. They have great egg rolls and wings! They overflow the containers with food! Definitely worth the money! I drive 20mins and past 3 restaurants for their food!

All around pretty good food. Nothing really stood out as uniquely flavorful, tho nothing tasted bad. Food was fresh and hot at pick-up, with plenty of leftovers for a midnight trip to the refrigerator 😎 Great service; very nice people.

I eat here a lot and typically enjoy it, but it's hard to overlook the parasites that were in the beef that I ordered last night. I threw my whole order out. They were like 2-4 inch long worn like parasites all throughout the meat. Please be careful.

This is my favorite Chinese food place in Georgia. The portions are amazing. The rice has tons of flavor. I live about 45 minutes south and have several places that are closer but none of their food compares and it's always worth the drive.

We ordered carry out. Typical Chinese carryout..egg foo young combo plate came with chicken fried rice, egg roll and I chose pork egg foo young (other choice was chicken). We also ordered pork fried rice. Food came out quickly and was still hot when we got back to the hotel 15 mins away. Off the beaten path but was worth it.

Food here is always fantastic (the dishes we order at least). Portions are great. Very friendly demeanor. Always feel welcome.

I was waiting on my food there today and noticed that they had a rebel flag flying in the back door. I will never eat here again. When I asked him why, he had the audacity to act like he didn’t know what it stood for. Thanks for letting me know how you really feel though. And to think that every time I’m in there, 90 percent of your customers are black. Disappointed but not surprised.

Little more expensive than your generic Chinese food places around Savannah but there's a reason. Portions are very generous and flavor plus quality is outmatched compared to other places. Highly recommend and there is a reason why this place continues to get 5 star rating. Beef lo mein, pork fried rice and szechuan wontons in the pictures.

The best strip mall Chinese ever

We tried this place because of the high rating and they did not disappoint!! Line was kind of long but well worth the wait! My shrimp Lo Mein was perfect! And the sweet and sour chicken could be eaten without the sauce! It was delicious! Definitely will be our go to spot when visiting our daughter in Savannah! 10/10

Genuinely the best Chinese takeout I've had in Savannah. My husband and I ordered Szechuan Chicken, Sesame Chicken, 3x Eggrolls, Steamed Dumplings, and Crab Rangoon. The service was solid. Fast, efficient, and while not especially verbose, the staff were plenty friendly. The amount of food was abundant, especially for the price. My Szechuan Chicken was very well seasoned and delightfully spicy, with plenty of veggies. The Eggrolls were cooked a bit dark, but upon actually tasting them, they also tasted delicious. The dumplings were advertised as 8 pieces, but we recieved 10 - also quite yummy. That being said, the star of the meal for me was the crab rangoon. I don't know at what point so many people decided that rangoons should be sweet, but I've had to swear them off ever since. I hate sweet crab rangoon, and dreaded the prospect of ordering them here only to find more disgustingly sweet creamy crab abominations, but decided to give my hopes for savory rangoon one more chance. I'm glad I did! The rangoon are spot on and absolutely everything I was hoping for when I ordered them. No comment personally on the sesame chicken. It must've been good, but I'll never know because my husband absolutely housed his meal before I ever got a chance to taste it. We'll definitely be back the next time we're craving Chinese takeout.

Good food, decent service, the prices are kinda high, but it is one of the better tasting Chinese places to eat from. I would go there again.

Food was incorrect. Ordered 4pc.chicken on stick and payed extra for shrimp fried rice. They gave me pork fried rice not shrimp. They need to check food before they give it to the customer for accuracy. Chicken on stick was also not the best I've ever had neither. Food here is always good but not today. They need to step it up or I will not eat here anymore.

Ordering here is an interesting experience. It's hard to explain; but when you order an item, the guy repeats that item back to you with odd clarity. The food is packaged in leak proof containers and sealed. This is great to know the sauces aren't going to be all over the inside of the bag. The foods have good and fresh flavor. You can see the cooks in the kitchen, they appear to enjoy what they are doing.

The food is absolutely delicious! I lived across the street from this establishment, and miss it terribly since moving to Atlanta. I’ve yet to find Chinese food (in the South) that rivals this place. The crab Rangoon’s are the best I’ve ever had! They are full of filling. The service is great as well. I wish them continued success in business. ⭐️

Best Chinese food in the area! They always accommodate special requests, and the food is delicious. Service is fast even when busy, and you never feel rushed while placing your order. Try the garlic sauce. I've never had one like it!

China Wok is hands down the best Chinese restaurant in Savannah. Everything on the menu is good. My personal favorites are: Orange Chicken 🍊🐔 Boneless Spare Ribs 🐖 Mongolian Beef 🐄 They are also able to do large catering orders at an affordable price. Eat here FAM. China Wok is invited to the cookout.

General Tsos chicken was excellent. The chicken lo mein was also really good along with egg rolls and crab rangoon. We really like the food, but thought the dumplings were just a little above average. Overall I’d give this place 4-4.3.

I tried this place based off of the ratings & it was good. It's a good place to grab your food & go. Don't expect to dine in because it's not set up like that (which is fine, but for those who don't know). I ordered the Garlic Chicken & Chicken Fried Rice Combination (extra spicy). The pork eggroll was phenomenal. I will definitely be going back.

Everything was excellent. The crab rangoons are overstuffed with filling. They are absolutely the best I’ve ever had. The General Tso’s chicken was cut into reasonably sized pieces, and the chicken fried rice was homemade, not that yellow rice you get at most places.

Ok so this place needs a top to bottom cleaning, but they came highly recommended. I've been back 2x. The wings are off the hook. Bye Zaxby's. Better rings at a cheaper price.

I've eaten here two times. The first time was pretty lackluster, but I decided to give it one more try before writing it off. Boy, am I glad I did. The boneless spare ribs (asked them to make it extra spicy), and it was perfect. It was spicy, but the flavor of the ribs came through nicely and combined together for an amazing meal. They made the rice spicy too, and I was in heaven. There are even bean sprouts in the rice, which is awesome! 100% worth the 25-minute drive each way. My son's beef lo mein was delicious, and the portion was very generous.

The person taking the orders...wow. sharp, quick and that voice. He's so good he almost takes away from the food. I have eaten here 5 times since moving close and every time the food is hot and delicious. Not the greatest strip mall, but the people in this restaurant care about their customers and the food they make.

We’ve lived in the relative area since 2016 and this is by far the BEST Chinese food we’ve found…I don’t say restaurant because you really can’t eat in…but the 15 minute wait and low price are VERY worth it…I moved 30 minutes away a little over a year ago and have a Chinese takeout 3 minutes from my house…I still drive out here and order…huge portions as well as polite front counter/phone man…I got $70 worth for 5 people and it will last for three family meals at least!

I know a lot of people think all Chinese food tastes the same, but this is the BEST Chinese restaurant I’ve EVER had! 💯% will return!

We go to China Wok fairly often and enjoy their food, however we’ve been disappointed lately. They have raised their prices which I can understand but they are putting much less meat in the entrees. Mostly use vegetable fillers like loads of celery and green pepper. Also there is very little sauce in the entrees. Frankly most of the sauces taste alike.

I had the lemon pepper wings with House fried Rice and it was so good. Since I've know of China Wok I must say on most occasions I have been pretty pleased with my food.

This place is far, FAR better than expected for takeout. I think this may be the best Chinese takeout in Savannah. The food is too good, prices are fair, and you get HUGE portions. It is my go-to spot. Follow-up: I have gone here eleven times in four years. Every time has been a 5/5 experience.

I love this place and have for a while. China Wok has been opening during hurricanes and snow. I also know people who will drive to this restaurant from the islands, over 15 -20 miles away, because they have great food.

Update: after taking a 6-month break, it's confirmed the food is blasting with flavor. Be careful one bite could turn into an addiction. Seriously, your taste buds can thank me later!
