Food was solid. The combo plates are big enough to split unless you're a really big eater. Though we made more rice at home because it's so much chicken and sauce to rice. Everything was good. My only complaint is the menus online are a good bit off on price since they're really old uploads. It would be nice to have a picture or description of the meals as well.

We love Chinese Chef Inn!!! Ask for lighter sauce, and the meal is delicious! We have never had a bad meal here. The chicken is tender and juicy. The crab Rangoon and egg rolls are crunchy and full of flavor. The people are super friendly and kind. ❤️ we love this place! Lemon chicken and general's chicken are top notch!

My husband and I eat take out from here atleast once a month. We have never been disappointed. The owner and staff are always extremely friendly. Laurie the gal that usually takes our order is super sweet. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Not sure how this is rated so high other than it being 1 of the only places to eat for many miles..not much else in this town..i will say if it wasnt for the chicken itself being great this would very easy be a 1 star..they over sauce the meal way to much..General TSO..sauce isnt great and it was soaked in it..Spicy Chicken..same thing soaked in sauce..fried rice that comes with it..terrible..zero flavor..they only serve meals with chicken..they use the same chicken in every dish you order..eggs rolls..same as you would get anywhere..crab rangoon's..same thing..nothing you cant get anywhere else..if they would just serve the sauce on the side it would have been way better

Best Chinese food around. PERIOD. Ive traveled all over the world and had Chinese food all over, and let me tell you...this place is in the top rankings. How such a good place ended up in Crane, Missouri, I have no clue. As a local though, we are extremely lucky to have them here.

Best Chinese food! The crab Rangoon here is out of this world, and I love the general chicken.

Aside from just always being really good food, the service is outstanding. I was told 15 minutes, brought it out in barely 5. I was even waiting outside just to pass the time and my waitress was kind enough to bring it out to me anyway as soon as it was done. You guys rock.

Hands down, the BEST Chinese in the area. We tried a smorgasbord of menu items to really put them to the test and every single thing was DELICIOUS. To top it off, the service was impeccable. The waitress/cashier handled dinner rush very well and was extremely pleasant. We finally found our Chinese Spot! ❤️🙌

We always enjoy the General Chicken with a side of Crab Rangoon. Good and spicy hot. Nice sized portions! The reason I don’t give 5 stars is because we haven’t tried anything else.

Stopped in for takeout and food was prepared quickly, we chatted a bit with one of the owners and she was especially friendly and kind. Portions were big and food was great! Will definitely be back!

I love doing take out here. When I ask for anything that's deepfreid and covered in sauce I ask for the sauce on side so when I get home it's still crunchy. Their entree fried rice is always really good!

The place is small. For the taste they are big one of the best places for Chinese even better than some of the larger restaurants.

The restaurant is clean and we'll kept. It is brightly lit with adequate seating. The staff is friendly, I was greated when I came in and they smiled the entire time I was there. My order arrived perfectly and hot. I ordered a combo lemon chicken, steamed rice with an egg roll. The chicken was delicious. My egg roll wasn't great, it tasted a little old? But overall I really enjoyed my meal. I greatly appreciate all of their time and effort. Thank you.

What an absolute gem! We were showing homes in the area and never did we think that we would partake in the best Chinese food we had ever eaten! First of all, the establishment was very clean! The food was fresh! I mean, it was hot! Finally. I had the sesame chicken and their sesame sauce was so so good. The chicken wasn’t over cooked either. You kinda have to look for this one, but like with all good things, the journey was worth it.

I LOVE this chinese place. I have not been able to eat at another place since I found this one. They have the BEST general chicken with broccoli in it! The sauce is home made and chicken has no MSG!!!! Also, the owners are very sweet, Kim remembers what I order every time I call in!

Las dos últimas veces que he conseguido varias piezas muy duro de pollo. Casi duro y desagradable. Literalmente me spit en la servilleta. Por desgracia las dos veces tuve la comida como para llevar así que no mencionamos al propietario. No creo que volveré pronto.

So Fresh, So Hot, and most of all the best Chinese Food Ever. It is truly wonderful. We have tried most dishes , all very good. We drive a long way to go to this place. You will not be unhappy... It is nothing special in atmosphere, if I wanted atmosphere I would stay in Springfield.. Well worth the drive and GREAT FOOD.

This little Chinese diner lets you eat in or take out. It has NO MSG!! The Owner is so friendly, and the food is absolutely WONDERFUL!!!! This is the best Chinese food I have eaten since I have left California, so that is saying a lot!! It is in a small town, but if you are going to Branson, Mo, It is easy to find, and a Missouri Must!!!

My family and I eat here about once a week and have since they opened about a year and a half ago. It is the best Chinese in MO! All sauce is fresh custom mix, NOT out of a can. I have special diet needs, and they always help me by preparing my order with no sugar, no oil. Tastes so good! Very friendly owner Mrs. Kim is awesome! These people know how to make a fantastic authentic meal. Prices are extremely fair. Between 5.00 to 7.00 (ish) for nearly anything on the menu!
