There arent many coffee shops left like this in Seattle. The staff are friendly and very good at what they do--making consistently good drinks in a vintage setting. There is lots of room to kick back here in a quiet setting and enjoy the perfect latte.

Service was great, hot chocolate was delicious. But this cafe smelled, like a lot. I don’t know if it doesnt normally, but it did today. I would love to spend more time and money here but it was hard to stand for very long.

It’s just a really awesome place love the atmosphere staff are awesome.

It gets a bit busy at times and there is only one barista working and she did a great job handling the line of customers and drink orders. I always get one of the hot chocolates or a mocha!

This is my favorite local coffee shop! I live down the street and come here often to work/study upstairs. Awesome cozy/rustic atmosphere and tasty chocolate and drinks. Friendly staff too.

This place is kind of a throw back hole in the wall coffee house style. The chocolate is good, selection is ok, not tiny but could be more diverse. Service can be slow.

The only place in Seattle I’ve been able to find rich, actual hot chocolate (not cocoa). The shop is very cozy as well

Visited Chocolati on Greenwood so I was surprised they were in Wallingford too. Great coffee, wonderfully rich chocolates, and very welcoming staff. I'm definitely going back.

This place is great, but the barista was extremely rude. Why work in the service industry if you hate customers. I normally question someone's behavior when they are working for tips, but I guess she gets paid so well per hour without tips then who cares, I guess.

Yummy quality stuff for a really good price. Should probably give that worker a partner there though. I only came in one time, so it may be different on different days, but because there’s only one person the service is slow and they’re kind of doing it all by themself. Just don’t want them to have that kind of pressure. It also smells kind of bad for some reason, but you get adjusted to it.

The word on the street is that they have the best hot chocolate ever! I have had their house extra dark hot chocolate and I could resonate with that but it's still not that subtle. While the ambience is fine,it's a little darker if you are looking for a studying/working space.

I am traveling and one of my ways of getting to know a city is to visit one or more chocolate shops. Today's delightful stop was a great choice! I tried the Aztec and Cayenne hot chocolates. Sweet but not too sweet. I really liked them separately but together they are my perfect mayan spicy chocolate. I bought so many chocolates and truffles. I've tried the dark cherry cordial which is my favorite cordial of choice was yummy. And a new thing for me, I think it's called the sunshine delight?... it was a mango strip covered in dark chocolate. Omg, so good!! I will definitely be back next time I come to Seattle!

Can't beat the quality in the coffee a and staff. Might have to wait a bit when it's SUPER busy (i.e., after school), but you'll be well-satisfied and have a few smiles while having a wonderful chat a ANY of the baristas ❤️ CanNOT say ENOUGH positive things!

Cool find. Got the house hot chocolate and chai latte. Both great tasting but I find them much more expensive than coffee shops around here. Chocolate truffles were subpar. Inside was a little dingy as well. Recommended if you're in the area and don't mind the higher price.

Seattle is blessed with a number of good Indian restaurants and this is an easy one to recommend for its menu, casual neighborhood atmosphere, outdoor seating, and excellent service. We had the chicken korma, garlic and basil naan, and murg malai kebab (a house specialty which was fabulous). A really pleasant, delicious meal. We were staying with someone who lives in the hood and will probably insist on coming here every visit.

It's a very cozy cafe. I personally get decaf white mocha, and this place seems to be one of the few cafes that actually make it. It also has many tables and free wifi, which makes it good for a study session.

My hot chocolate was yummyyyyyyy and I sat on the loft floor which is so fun and the shop is just adorable and funky and great in general. Best vibes in town.

I usually go to the one in Greenlake, which is amazing. However I went to the one in Wallingford yesterday and I was not impressed at all. The barista was annoyed we we’re even there, she told me it would take 10 minutes to get a blended drink (keep in mind we were the only people in there) i also ordered a breakfast sandwich that was a mistake because it was cold all through the middle. I was honestly shocked at the difference between the service and quality between the Wallingford location and the Green lake location. If you have the time, don’t waste it going to this one head to greenlake.

I don't expect hugs and a cookie from the baristas but you'd expect folks would be a little more enthusiastic simply for being employed. Though nothing unusual for this day and age. I like the store, menu and environment but some of the staff lately is really disappointing.

Truffles are not worth it. Strange texture, disappointing flavors. Coffee is good.

4.5 stars. Great cafe, great staff, great ambience. I love coming here whenever I want to read. The spread of warm wood and lighting is reminiscent of classic PNW cafe vibes, especially during rainy days. Many cafes in Seattle tend to have the same "modern" look and feel (which I'm fine with), but Chocolati Cafe Wallingford charmingly stands out among the crowd in its own unique, cozy ways. If you are a student needing to focus on grinding out some work, this cafe is really perfect for you. They don't play loud music; there are many cafes in Seattle that play music loudly to churn customers as fast as possible. The music level here is just right to be able to focus on your work/have conversation with your group mates. There are plenty of seating tucked away in upper-floor areas that really help you focus. I love reading there. Also, they close at 7:30pm, instead of 4 or 5pm like other cafes in the area! The drinks are great too! I really like their frozen drink selection. The only reason why I say 4.5 stars: they sometimes are closed during their regular business hours without notice, and I can't figure out why. Nevertheless, a great cafe and definitely one I'll keep coming back to :)

A chocolate cafe?! Absolute heaven for me. My sister and I both got the Europa hot chocolate on our last visit, one with soy and one with hemp milk. Europa hot chocolate is essentially sipping chocolate - far more rich than regular hot chocolate and highly recommended for chocoholics! They have espresso drinks as well but it was evening and we didn't need the caffeine. Their truffles and chocolate goodies are very good. They sell a small assortment of baked goods from All About Cookies - the vegan chocolate chip pecan cookie was amazing! The gentleman helping us out was super nice. He was the only one working so there was a small line but nobody minded - gave us time to browse all the goodies before ordering! This is also a perfect place to pick out a chocolate gift for the chocoholic in your life. Or even work from - plenty of seating and free wifi. I'll definitely be back when visiting Seattle again.

I love to sit upstairs facing the street and people watch! Chocolates are so good. I don’t drink a lot of hot chocolate, but theirs is quite rich—enough by itself for dessert depending on what you get.

This place is great and have some interesting coffee drinks. I had the Mexican and it was sweet,spicy & Chocolati.. I think it had paprika in it!

Super tasty! The chocolates were delicious. Very creamy with unique flavors. I had a salted caramel latte that was the perfect late night treat. Staff were wonderful and helpful. Poor shop had their door glass shattered so we were unsure about the shop from the outside since it was boarded up, but the inside was delightful. Totally worth going in.

Literally the sweetest Batista. They were so easy to talk to and helped me pick a bunch of drinks. They also made me the best mocha I've ever had. So glad we stopped here on our trip.

Such a consistently good place. Amazing chocolates, discounts for local workers, great beverage options. Thoroughly pleased with my experience every time. Highly recommend their chocolate covered espresso beans whenever they're available! Truffles run at about a dollar and some change each 😊

Good for the small, cafe experience away from the crowds. Literally. With COVID restrictions, they only had about four places to sit. But hey, my wife and I found a seat, which is an accomplishment in Seattle. And the chocolate... mmmmmmm.

GREAT Chocolate both vegan and non. The coffee drinks taste great and I’ve been happy with various espresso mixes. They also have wonderful real hot chocolate! This is a very cozy spot and the staff is knowledgeable and very warm and kind. I love this spot! Staff is always kind and treats me well. I love doing work out of here.

Go here and drink chocolate and feel happy. This is just as quirky as you could hope for, all sweetness and truffles and friendly staff. Try a spicy chocolate drink, pair it with a sandwich or a piece of art by a local artist. They make a great foil for Fuel Coffee right across the street, motto: Skinny Tall & Bitter.

A Very cozy coffee store. I had my cup of coffee there on a snowy Saturday on the second floor where the window faces 45th Ave. It's fun to watch the traffic and snow while sipping my steaming hot cup of latte.

Plenty of seating (2 floors) with outlets for cozy, quiet studying. This place is such a gem for people like me still looking for coffee shop workplaces in the time of COVID, and everything is distanced. To boot, there's also good coffee, delicious chocolate based drinks, and artisanal truffles!

Delicious hot chocolate and great decaf espresso. Chocolati has the perfect amount of jankiness I love in a coffee shop. Cute atmosphere, excellent warm lighting and good staff that make great drinks. Everything you need is there and the well worn. The effect making you feel comfortable enough to hang out and work for hours but also just a little broken, but not enough to really bug you. I believe this place drips what my grandmother would call character and I love it on the weekends or in the dark Seattle evenings.

They have the best hot chocolate I've ever had by leaps and bounds.

Best place in Seattle to get a mocha, and not just any mocha. There is lavender, salted caramel, and many other mocha sauces all made in house. What i especially love about this Chocolati location is the space itself and interior arrangement - there are two isolated upstairs areas with different vibes. The front side is open to the main area below and is ideal for working in groups or having a conversation. The back upstairs area is more removed and quite and ideal for reading or working alone.

Very cozy atmosphere with acoustic background music. I ordered a house dark chocolate drink came out within 3 min. Very rich and thicc drink. They have a lot of seats upstairs so seating won't be an issue! They also sell drawings from local artists!

Quirky, textured, sometimes cramped, not exactly inexpensive. In other words, exactly what you'd expect from an aspiring trendy custom-chocolate themed cafe in Wallingford. My daughter loves it, so I keep going back. Try the lavender hot chocolate once.
