They make great barbecue with lots of options for sides. It's a must visit when I'm in Lexington. You can get a variety of sauces to try too.

I love their smoked sausage. I wished they would put one in Kingsport, TN or Pikeville, KY.

This is our go to BBQ place. The service is always fast and friendly and fantastic. I have tried multiple items from the menu and all have been delicious. I love their meats and unlike some other competitors their sides are on point. Love their hush puppies, green beans, and corn pudding!

We were looking for good barbecue. Did not disappoint.

We were a little confused by the service as it might be a sit down restaurant, but you order, find a seat, and then they call you back up for your food. My husband had the sampler, and I got a pulled pork sandwich. Everything was tender and flavourful. Pulled pork tends to go dry but I ran into very little dryness. My husband allowed me to sample his turkey and brisket, which were very good! He said the sausage tasted more like a breakfast sausage but he still enjoyed it. Overall great food at a great price, very tasty!! Would recommend 👌🏼

Love eating here. It's always clean and great food. Clean restrooms and helpful employees, and answer any menu questions you may have. If you like Barbeque, this is the place to go.

The food is a bit salty for Koreans. The pickles are very salty~ I think eating them with the burger would be good to neutralize the saltiness a bit, and the bread is delicious.

Our Pick-up order was perfect. Staff were so very pleasant. We picked up or on Richmond road then drove to Talon Winery where we purchased a bottle of wine and enjoy City Barbeque. It was a fabulous day.

The ribs and Pulled Pork were awful the last couple of times we went there. The food seems to be leftovers from a week ago heated up

Usually this location is pretty reliable. But today we ordered lunch for the office. Several pounds of meat, multiple sides and dessert. The brisket was extremely overcooked to shoe leather status, chicken was swimming in water, and the corn pudding was dried out. Extremely disappointing for the money spent.

Glad to have went back for another attempt. Our first experience here was horrible to say the least but we did go back and try it another time after waiting a few months. This time we went with the pulled pork sandwiches and fries or macaroni. I still don't care for the fries or macaroni. Even though fries were hot they are soggy. And the macaroni tasted like it came out of a box with no additional flavoring. The pulled pork was great though and we enjoy the flavor sauces to choose from. This will probably be our go to here now when we do decide to come in. The chocolate cake was very good.

I purchased a pound of brisket. The meat is tough, dry, and not even sliced. I called 5 tines to speak with a manager and no one ever answered the call! Called customer service and they couldn't get anyone to pick up from the Richmond Rd. Location... told me to call back tomorrow!!! 😡😡😡

The food is good, but the peach cobbler will make you think you've died and gone to heaven. Best dessert I've ever had, period.

We got 2 containers of fatty meat, barely edible, a basket of fries, that used to be what one order of fries looked like! We left hungry, had to stop somewhere else for lunch. Always used to stop here, when on our way to TN, NEVER again, awful, prices all raised, portions decreased, food quality so poor, we consider it inedible! Horrible horrible, we could eat at TexasRoadhouse for $52, eat steak, be full, and have carry out boxes! You all need to rethink!

Fair warning, this is a long review! I must admit, normally I'm not a fan of what Southerners call Bbq (pulled pork). So when I tried City Bbq, I went in a bit skeptical. The good thing is their menu has a plethora of non-bbq related meat choices like brisket, pulled chicken, turkey, sausage, and ribs! Trust me I was definitely pleased to see all the options! Because I was not brave enough to try the pulled pork this time lolz. 😨 Instead I got the Chilli Mac and the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich. Let me tell you, it was superb!!!🤤 The Chilli Mac has brisket instead of beef. And the cheese is perfectly melty! The chicken sandwich was mouth watering! It was the perfect combo of juicy and spicy! The only downside was that the chicken sandwich needed extra sauce, which they happily provided, and the noodles in the chili Mac were a little undercooked. But that stuff is miniscule compared to the service, food, and atmosphere! So maybe next time I'll have some courage, I'll definitely go try some pulled pork from City Bbq!

Excellent bbq and sides are scrumptious

Sunday afternoon I went in for a slab of ribs but the lovely and friendly cashier said they have been waiting near an hour for ribs. So the "manager " checks the oven to find a slap ready to go. I'm happy to get fresh cooked to go till I open them to find the most meatless, anemic bones I've ever seen. Maybe they had bigger slabs that just weren't cooked yet? Either cheap ribs or poor management

Ordering was easy and the employee was helpful. However, I had to ask someone how to order as the 3 employees were standing behind the counter talking to each other. The restaurant was cold and everyone eating was in jackets despite the warm weather outside. The food was room temperature and the french fries were cold.

I have Built several different BBQ Restaurants. I am here to tell ya this is some of the best Ribs and Brisket I've had. And the potato salad is worth driving 100 miles out of you way for. Holy Hell it was great. The staff was amazing as well. Friendly Well worth it. Thank you all. Great job.

The whole experience was great, we didn't even wait for long and the food was hot and tasty. The atmosphere felt like a true city barbecue.

City Barbeque has really tasty smoked meats, brisket, pork, chicken, ribs, sausage. They also have really good french fries. I usually get the brisket with a side of cole slaw. They use to have vinegar slaw which was my favorite. But, they don't offer it anymore so I get the mayonnaise slaw.

This was our first time visiting this location and I must say we were impressed. The food and service was wonderful. I would 10/10 recommend to anyone who loves bbq!

Blahhhh!!!!! Used to be a huge fan. Honestly.... Lexington/ Richmond road location. Ordered the Judges Sampler. If the judges tasted this, they would have sentenced them to life, in prison without parole. They must being going broke because what they put in the container was really an embarrassing arraynof poorly prepared meats. Go elsewhere to get value for your hard earned money.

Delivery is terrible so I don't do that. The only time I did, I waited 90 mins for a no show and it took 3 weeks for them to refund me. With that said, if you pick it up, it's decent. I got dinner for two for about 40 dollars. If you pick it up you can also try all the different sauces which I recommend. The hush puppies were the highlight. The ribs were good but pretty slim. A few years back, they made their gumbo a seasonal item, but nobody could tell me which season and I haven't gotten to have it since. The gumbo was the best thing on the menu.
