We recently had our wedding at Claxton Farm in August, and it was truly a dream come true! The venue is absolutely stunning—surrounded by beautiful mountains and lush greenery, it provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. From the moment we started planning, the staff at Claxton Farm were incredibly helpful and attentive. They made sure every detail was taken care of, which allowed us to fully enjoy our day without any stress. Everything went off without a hitch, and that’s largely thanks to Jackie, who was amazing throughout the entire process. Her expertise and calm demeanor made everything so much easier. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful the venue was, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding. If you’re looking for a gorgeous, well-managed venue with a team that genuinely cares about making your day special, Claxton Farm is the place to go. We recently attended my sister‘s wedding at Claxton Farms. Jackie Putnam handled every single solitary detail of the day from shuffling the wedding party with the golf cart down for photos to pinning dresses, she made sure that the bridal party had champagne and toast , to fixing the brides hair. Helping everybody’s sore feet after all the dancing.she was amazing. Being in the service industry I know what it’s like to have good solid people were for you and I’ve never seen anybody as solid as Jackie! Thank you, Jackie for making our sisters wedding so amazing! Claxton Farm is a true gem in Western North Carolina! This rustic yet elegant event venue offers the most breathtaking mountain backdrops. The natural beauty surrounding the farm is simply stunning, making it a perfect choice for those seeking a picturesque and serene space to celebrate. The Llamas are so cool too! What truly elevates Claxton Farm is the incredible catering and events staff of M7 Events. Their professionalism and attention to detail make every event seamless. From the initial planning stages to the final moments of the event, the team goes above and beyond to ensure everything runs perfectly. Their expertise and dedication shine through in every aspect, from the delicious and beautifully presented food to the flawless coordination of the day's events. I've had the pleasure of working with Claxton Farm on multiple occasions, as well as attended many private events as a guest, and each experience has been nothing short of exceptional. If you're looking for a wedding venue with breathtaking views, an attentive and dedicated staff, and adorable farm animals (miniature horses, goats, and even a llama named Chocolate Chip), then look no further than Claxton Farm! The venue: Everywhere you look at Claxton, you will be treated to a gorgeous landscape that is perfect for photo backdrops! There are beautiful rolling hills, stunning mountains, and farm animals! The interior of the farm is the perfect reception area and was the deciding factor for us. The key feature is a beautiful stone fireplace that you can decorate to your preference. The reception area also has a covered patio that is amazing for a cocktail hour and for dancing! Planning: We worked closely with Claxton to plan all of the important details for our big day. They streamlined the planning process and were flexible in letting us make late adjustments. I'd like to make a special shoutout to Kayleigh for her attention to detail and all of her help and recommendations during the planning process! Recommended vendors: We used several vendors that were recommended by Claxton. They often work with Claxton and are very familiar with the venue, which was a great help! Catering: The catering was included with Claxton and it was super easy to plan the meal choices and passed appetizers that we chose. Having the catering included with the venue was really nice as it helped save us more time on the planning front! The big day: Claxton also provided a day-of coordinator. Jackie was so attentive, caring, and was always thinking ahead. As soon as our ceremony ended, she gave us appetizers and our specialty cocktails and gave us some time to ourselves before we had some more pictures taken. Meanwhile, our guests enjoyed the cocktail hour with their indoor/outdoor bar. We also had a few side activities planned outside like cornhole and s'mores by a fire pit. The entire staff worked in sync to make sure the dinner service went off without a hitch. Wrapping up the night, we had dancing inside and outside of the reception area, which was a total blast! Overall, our wedding experience was an absolute 10/10! Our guests had the most amazing time and were thrilled with our choice! We love Claxton so much and cannot recommend it enough as a wedding venue!

Our wedding was our BEST DAY EVER thanks to Claxton Farm. The venue and grounds are gorgeous and very well-maintained. The food was great and the staff's organizational skills kept us perfectly on schedule. We planned our wedding from halfway across the country, but Emily and Kayleigh made the whole process seamless. I will share a story that shows this team's kindness and willingness to go above and beyond .. My ring fell off of my finger during some photos by the weeping willow tree. I was beginning to feel stressed trying to search for it, but Karsyn's calm demeanor assured me that everything would be okay. She hired a team of metal detectors to discretely search for the ring while we were having our ceremony and reception!!! Not a single guest even knew it was happening. When we went back to the venue in the morning, another staff member was there with his personal metal detector. I had never gotten to even meet him before, but there he was at 10am before his shift even started...I'm full of gratitude every time I remember this story. This team really has a heart for making a special day even more special, and I am thankful. (And we did end up finding the ring!)

Claxton Farm is a beautiful venue that all of our guests loved! We appreciated planning assistance from Emily and Kayleigh and liked the variety of customization options to meet our vision and budget. The day-of staff were professional and we were pleased with the in-house DJ. Absolutely stunning views from this venue. The barn is well laid out and clean. I was a vendor at a wedding here recently and this is definitely one of the better managed and run facility. I cannot say even one bad thing about my experience here.

Claxton Farm was the most perfect setting for our wedding day. Even when the sun decided to hide and the temperature was lower than we expected for early fall, it was beyond stunning in every way thanks to the help of the staff. Our guests raved about the food and danced the night away in the beautiful barn. We did not look at many venues being from out of state but we could not be more thankful we found Claxton! It was better than we ever could have imagined!!

As a wedding videographer and photographer in Asheville, NC I always find Claxton Farm to be the best place for an outdoor wedding with wonderful inside options as well. Plus definitely go visit with Chocolate chip the llama :) I have photographed several weddings at this venue and always find new and exciting places to create candid and creative photography and videography in this space. It is vivid, vibrant, and the best!

We chose Claxton Farm because they stood out to us from the very first visit. Emily and Kayleigh were amazing, very communicative, and were constantly helping us shape our contract and details to the ideal wedding for us! Jackie, the day of bridal attendant, was so attentive and always made sure my husband and I had drinks in our hand or water. She also drove us and our bridal party up and down the hill on the golf cart. To say she was a huge help is understating her role and we cannot thank her enough! The rest of the staff, the bartender (Corey), and the DJ (Chase booked by Claxton Farm through Sound Extreme) were all top notch and kind as well. Everyone had a smile although they were working hard and each one of them made our day that much better! Their farm animals and chocolate chip the llama (featured in the photos) were adorable and a crowd favorite! We loved having our wedding here and suggest you do too!

About a year ago, my SO and I both said “I do” at Claxton Farms. As a part of our anniversary, we thought it fitting to leave a review. First of all, the views are spectacular. We were married on a foggy day during the fall golden season, and I can’t express the absolute beauty that exists on this farm. The tree leaves were vibrant as small clouds drifted across the misty mountains. The farm is settled in a little valley, where nothing could be seen except nature, family, friends, and your loved one. We didn’t hear cars, jets… anything except the wonderful 3 string bluegrass band entertaining our guests. With farm animals in the background, Claxton has a gentle and pure feel that one might get while at camp as a child. The staff was highly knowledgeable, caring, and performed well at all their tasks. The food was amazing too and we enjoyed the tasting to get the exact dishes that we wanted. They accommodated dietary restrictions for my father, who has severe gluten allergy, and the bartenders were generous if you know what I mean 😉 My wife and I are so glad that we chose claxton farms. It was a wonderful night surrounded by those we love in an environment that celebrates nature and gentleness. Such an amazing venue!

My husband and I had our wedding here and loved it! The views, the animals, the food, the venue, everything was perfect. The staff was very accommodating. Jackie, the bridal attendant, was on it and made sure that my husband and I enjoyed ourselves. If we could do it over, we would choose to get married here again!

I can't say thank you enough to the amazing team at Claxton Farm. I got married there on 11/13/21. Emily and Kayleigh were absolutely wonderful and helped us plan the event start to finish. They were thorough and helped guide me through the wedding planning process, and answered all of my questions. They also regularly checked in with me once I had selected them as our venue, and made sure I wasn't forgetting to fill out any forms and thinking of the details I wouldn't have thought of myself. Allie Marie was amazing as our day-of coordinator. She made sure we were fed, had drinks in our hands, and had time to ourselves on our special day. I didn't have to worry about anything during the day of, since Allie Marie ran our timeline for us and the venue coordinated with all the other vendors I scheduled. After getting ready in the cute bridal suite during the morning, I went over to the venue for pictures and had about an hour to enjoy the venue fully decorated before guests arrived. Allie Marie made sure all of the decorations that I brought in were set up. Everything was great, and you just can't beat the views and natural beauty at this venue. All of our guests had so much fun and enjoyed the scenery and food (catered by the venue). The venue and it's team have a special place in my heart!

My husband and I were married at Claxton in July 2021, and the experience was beyond amazing. Claxton’s whole team worked closely with us and our planner right up to the day of the event making sure everything was perfect. Emily made the planning process easy and enjoyable. She was responsive and flexible, and went out of her way to accommodate any and all requests. The staff onsite the day of was anticipatory and responsive (shoutout to Jackie on being there throughout the night to make sure we ate and always had full drinks)!  The food is catered through the company that owns the venue, M7 Events, and it was excellent! We went with a BBQ theme for dinner with the smoked chicken and chopped beef brisket with corn pudding and green beans and it was SO good! For apps we did the bacon wrapped shrimp (DELISH), caprese bites and fried tomato biscuits - our guests are still commenting on how delicious it all was. Finally, the venue was beautiful with its lush green grass, gorgeous willow tree and stunning mountainous backdrop. Chocolate Chip (the llama) and the other animals on the farm were an absolute hit with guests too! The fire pit and smores situation was an amazing add-on to desserts along with our wedding cake! It was absolutely beyond anything we had envisioned and we cannot recommend Claxton Farm enough!

Great wedding venue with exceptional service and attention to detail!

The dreamiest wedding venue you could ever imagine. We fell i love with this venue when we looked at it last year for our wedding and I didn't think I could love it anymore until I saw it all put together for our wedding this past weekend. Emily & Brenda at the M7 Events team were the BEST to work with. I never once stressed about the wedding planning process because I knew they had my back. Our Bridal Attendant, Candace, treated us like royalty and made sure we had everything we needed and didnt know we needed!! Our wedding was really a dream come true and that is all thanks to Claxton Farm & M7 Events.

Could not have had a better experience planning my wedding with the staff at M7 Events and Claxton Farm. Everyone was prompt, professional, and wanted nothing more than for our day to go perfectly - which it absolutely did. In fact, everything exceeded my expectations! We had some very last minute changes because of the weather, but you would have never known. Inside, outside, rain or shine, this place is heaven. I CANNOT say enough about Claxton Farm and the entire staff - They were always available when I needed them for questions prior to my wedding and the staff the night of was absolutely fantastic! Very professional and organized. I can honestly say, if something even went wrong that night I was not aware of it - that's how awesome everyone was! All my wedding guests loved the location and most importantly, Chocolate Chip the llama. :-) I highly recommend Claxton Farm!

People kept asking me if I was stressed with my up coming wedding, and I could honestly say no because Claxton staff took care of it all! I got so many compliments on my wedding venue and scenery! It is truly stunning and it's exactly what I had pictured in my mind for our wedding. Treva and Brenda made planning a breeze and I couldn't have done it without them. Many of my guests commented that our food was the best wedding food they have ever had, and I don't think they were just being nice because we agreed. They went out of their way to make special meals for my vegetarian and gluten/dairy free friends! If I had to do it over, I would have my wedding there again in a heartbeat.

Great venue in the countryside for parties and weddings

Claxton was absolutely the most beautiful wedding venue ever! Treva and Brenda were both so amazing during the planning stage, and they kept me on track and stress free all the way up to the wedding day! Our bridal attendant, Jackie, was incredible. She made sure that my husband and I were fed and taken care of during our photo session. She was instrumental in making sure that everything ran smoothly and that I was able to enjoy my wedding day without a care in the world! Additionally, I received a ton of compliments on M7's waitstaff. They were friendly, efficient, and did an incredible job setting up all our decorations. M7's catering was also delicious and I got even more compliments on the food! Long story short, the farm is absolutely beautiful, the staff is friendly and courteous, and the food was wonderful. I can't wait to go there for someone else's wedding so I can experience it all over again!
