Such kind owners + delicious cookies!!!

My daughter and I stopped in here after eating lunch nearby. The owners were kind and chatted with us about the cookie flavors. We ended up buying 3 cookies and they were delicious! The pumpkin cookie with cream cheese icing was my favorite.

If you haven’t visited already, go this week! Cookie Shack OBX has some of the best cookies I have ever had! I had this on my list of “to go” places while we were visiting and I didn’t regret it! Her caramel apple snickerdoodle was perfect!

Very good made from scratch Ice Cream Sandwiches and Friendly Owners. They can sell out quick so come early!

really nice - great service and the owner appreciates the locals of the Outer Banks - even going as far as to give discounts and extra sweets. 10/10 I would go again and again over Crumbl the prices and bake of the cookies beat it. If you want affordable cookies and want to assure your money isn’t wasted - go here. Everything was delicious and didn’t leave you feeling like you just ate a bag of sugar .

Stopped in after dinner for some cookies. We got the cookie monster cookie, red velvet cookie, and a chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich. The kids said 10/10 they love theirs! The cookies are so good and worth the price for sure!

This place is an absolute gem! The owners are so friendly, they took the time to talk with us about them and a bunch of subjects, we had a blast! And the cookies? Fabulous!! They taste like love 😊 especially the strawberry one. They are not too sugary and they are very fresh. Go try them!!

The best cookies made and sold by the nicest couple! If you or your family member has a tree nut allergy, this is the place to go because they don't use them! Family favorite was the death by chocolate. Will definitely be stopping by next time we are in town.

Amazing cookies! 🍪 But I think the best part are the owners. Very welcoming and friendly. I've had to go back twice while visiting on vacation, they are that good. Definitely recommend the red velvet ice cream sandwich and the "death by chocolate" cookie. Superb cookies that will kill any sugar craving.

The pumpkin cookie is unbelievable! The owners are so friendly and welcoming. My adult kids visit from AZ and love going there every time! Right on the water where you can enjoy the views and enjoy your sweet treat!

This place is AMAZING!! These are the best cookies I have ever had. They are all so fresh and tasty, made to perfection:) The pumpkin cookie with cream cheese frosting is my favorite! I was going in one last time before the airport and was bummed the pumpkin cookie was sold out. The owners pulled the cookies out early from cooling and iced them for me right there so I was able to get one! They are so down to earth and passionate about making these cookies taste so yummy. Everyone needs to try Cookie Shack!

We’re local so we stop in for cookies all the time. For my son’s graduation we decided to order cookies and cupcakes for our gathering. They were outstanding!! Everyone loved them. Highly recommended. The cupcakes were so moist!! We will be doing this again for our future events.

Absolutely amazing experience! The owners were so nice and welcoming. They offered us a couple comp sweets (death by chocolate cookie and their new addition, peanut butter chocolate cupcake). Could have spent hours talking with the owners. The cookies themselves, beyond fantastic! Melt in your mouth! The cool whip on top of the strawberry shortcake cookie was well done and so delicious! Worth checking out!

The owners are great people and the customer service is the outstanding. The cookies are some of the I've ever had, and I'm always on the hunt for a good cookie They are homemade, soft, and fresh. We froze some of them to make them last throughout the week we were here. I can't really say which one is my favorite because they are all so good. This will be a new tradition for our family every time we are down!

We are new to OBX and love cookies. I met Dawn today, great customer service and amazing cookies! I got an assortment but the best cookies were the oreo, snickerdoodle and peanut butter which was my favorite! She gave me a cotton candy cookie which I was skeptical about but it was amazing too! Highly recommend! It is dangerous to live 5 min from the cookie shack!! See you soon Dawn! It was great meeting you!

I didn't have time to take a picture of the beautifuly presented cookies that were bestowed upon my eyes besides the remainder of the snickerdoodle. The customer service was great as well as the taste of the spectacular cookies I purchased. They have perfected the arts of cookies for example something as simple as snickerdoodle was perfect and something as abstract as cotton candy was delectable. 10/10 would buy again!!!

Hard pass on Crumbl Cookie. THIS is the best cookie spot on the OBX! We were able to talk to Larry and Dawn and they were sooo nice and friendly! We of course had to get the Cookie Monster cookie but also tried their other selections as well and my gosh… The cookies were perfectly soft and mouthwateringly delicious. We had such a great experience we will be coming back every year for tradition! Tip: if you get the Cookie Monster you’re technically getting 2 cookies for the price of one lol ; )

Cookies and ice cream sandwiches were delicious! Cookies were soft and not to sweet with fun flavors! We had choxolatw chip, oreo, cotton candy, smore, and red velvet! All were delicious! The owner was working the counter and she was super friendly! Absolutely stop here if your in the area!

Happy one year anniversary to this hidden gem of the OBX! We stopped in last year on a whim, just a few weeks after they opened and WOWEE were we ever pleasantly surprised! The cookies? Delicious. The owners? Delightful. We were so happy to find them in the same location this year and happily chatted with the owners again about their bakery's growth over the last year. Although we didn't have time for homemade soft serve (also made into ice cream cookie sandwiches) or fudge, we picked up an assorted dozen of everything they made and practically skipped home. Our 5yo was wiggling in the backseat just itching for the cookie monster cookie that awaited her. Clearly made with love, this is one collection of cookies you don't want to miss!!

Delicious, buttery cookies and even better ice cream!

I don’t typically post reviews but I loved the cookies from this place. We got a bunch of different kinds but I especially loved the s’mores and the peanut butter sugar with the paw print. I believe the woman who helped us was the owner and she was so nice. Wish we would have discovered this place earlier on our trip.

We’ve been here twice over the last couple of days and the cookies are absolutely tremendous and the owners are even better! My wife loved the pumpkin roll and snickerdoodle and our 3 boys loved, well, every cookie they tried. We will definitely be back before we head home from our vacation! (Sorry no pics - we couldn’t wait to eat them)
