Best cookies ever. Seriously hard to find. I never enjoyed flat, tiny, crispy and overly-salted cookies. Seriously, these are the best "cakey" cookies. I normally go for the chocolate chip here but they have tons of flavors that rotate every month. AND they're made fresh in the store. Do not miss out on these 😭

Best cookies I’ve ever had! The people running the shop are very friendly and always coming up with new delicious cookie flavors. Plus, great flavors for all dietary restrictions. Couldn’t recommend stopping by this place enough.

Popped in this afternoon after seeing their sign on the sidewalk. Soooo happy that I did. I bought every flavor they had at the time. These are some of the best cookies I've ever had! Run to this amazing shop and get as many as you can. You will not be disappointed!

As a fan of Coping Cookies from the start, their work is unparalleled. Cookies, coffee, miscellaneous other drinks that always sound super good even though I know I'm always going to get coffee👌🏼 Don't sleep on the Vegan Espresso Chip when it's available. Get it, warm it up, love it. Oh! And their merch, get you some of that too.

I love this local business! So glad they expanded from a pop up to a storefront. The owners are super friendly and their cookies are truly delectable. Unique flavors with several rotating seasonal, they seem to always be experimenting. My only wish is that were open more but alas I understand small business owners need time to rest and prep too!

We were hunting for something to celebrate mid-autumn festival that was round like the full moon. Coping Cookies were perfect. We bought a half dozen, one of each mini and scurried home to have a cookie tasting session.

The cookies are amazing and I definitely plan on coming back for more.

Coping Cookies is a delightful little cookie shop in Capitol Hill with plenty to offer. From coffee to cookies(and Vegan cookies), this place will surely delight any sweet treat lover. I had the Churro and Chip cookies, which were both delicious but took a different textual approach than the cookies I'm used to. One can only describe them as "meaty" cookies; the cookies are heavy and dense, which can also be aptly described as cake as a cookie. The churro flavor cookie is well-balanced with sugar and cinnamon; my partner even mentioned they would prefer it to Snickerdoodle any day of the week! Our vegan friends thoroughly enjoyed their birthday cake vegan cookie. Oh, and the espresso is downright delicious.

Went it to find a 🎁 for my partner and I thought this place would be nice to try. Total win because my partner doesn't like super sweet stuff and I actually do like sweet stuff and they had options for both. I got the Expresso Cookie for me and The Basic Chip for my partner, when I got home and gave him the cookie it didn't last long like he devoured in seconds and said that the cookie was bussin. I got the Cocolemon which is a vegan option btw but I'm saving it for later. I'm sure it's gonna be good. Decor is pretty sik too!

Such good cookies! We tried many places in the area while on vacation and this was our favorite! Definitely worth the stop.

We SO welcome this woman-owned business to our neighborhood! A perfect walkable location for Capitol Hill-ites! The cookies are not only beautiful, the two vegan selections, which periodically rotate, are always scrumptious! Thank you Coping Cookies owners for giving us tasty coping treats!! Hands down best cookies in town! I have been a customer since they were a pop up and have never gotten a cookie I didn’t love! The flavors are super unique and they are always perfectly balanced! I have fallen in love with flavors that I wasn’t expecting to! There is this one flavor I tried that was pineapple based and it that blew me out of the water, it was the best thing I ever tasted! Their chocolate chip is also impeccable! I love to put my cookies in the microwave for a few seconds so the center gets all melted and gooey, and it is pure heaven! The cookies are big and they are really fun to cut in half and share with your favorite person! Looking forward to watching this amazing business grow and trying every single flavor they create!

Insaneeeeely good. One of the best cookies I’ve ever had. And I eat a LOT of cookies. The Nutella center… chefs kiss. I live around the corner and you bet I’ll be back here often to try all their different cookies!! Such a huge cookie. Amazing 10/10 perfection.

Cookies aren't gooey but slightly crispy on the outside and chewy inside. The folks behind the counter are very nice! Hoping that they will be open 7 days a week sometime in the near future.

I guess I've needed cookies to cope with life lately because I've been here several times already! It's a good thing I don't live on Capitol Hill, otherwise my doctor might not be too happy with me. Anyways, go check them out! Their cookies are so soft and chewy and of course, delicious! My favorite so far is the banana biscoff! The big cookies are pretty big, so I love that they offer mini versions as well.

An amazing cute and delicious new place. We just found it just walking around and were pleasantly surprised at how tasty and soft the vegan cookie was and good the coffee was. Staff are pleasant and space super cute. An absolute delight addition to the neighborhood.😁

Cookies but make them ~gourmet~ Came here because my friend's friend in med school knew the owners (/used to work with them?). I know, distant connection, but we still support! The cookies are pretty sweet - we got the special spring flavors + the espresso one - and thicc/fulfilling. Tasted better warmed up the next day to be honest :D Owners were super sweet and friendly!

Coffee was really good and cookies were great too! Add some more flavor for cookies pls! Cute place :)

If you're using Google maps for directions, it takes you to the back side of the store which got me a little confused... But anyway, cookies are delicious as always. I love their softness inside and each flavor stands out. Plus they are huge so definitely good for sharing.
