Excellent meal. At about 6:30 PM we were seated without reservations. But if you come around 8 PM on a Saturday night, they can be full. The seared scallops were great as was the tuna tataki. But… eat dessert! The guava soufflé is worth saving room for.

My Daughter and I dined at Costa Med for the third time tonight on Mother’s Day. We were greeted with glasses of champagne and roses. The food, as always, was outstanding. The branzino, a house favorite, was so simple and yet so fabulous. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked, lean and so delicious. We started with the ceviche, which was outstanding. There aren’t enough words to describe how great the food, the service, and the ambience is at Costa Med You absolutely must try this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

Wine selection made me choose this restaurant. Food started disappointing with bake-up bread 🙄🥖 One expects home made in a Bistro establishment. A nice Poully Fuisse made up for the lack of taste. Girlfriend wanted from the menu what is described as 'Entrecote' Milanese, but not breaded. Was told instead to go for another dish with no price informed up front. Was served Veal - which she doesn't really like. Strange suggestion when you order something described in the menu as 'Certified Angus Beef Filet Mignon Medallions' at $33. Price for Veal is exaggerated. More expensive than Cipriani. Lamp Chop $60 plus fries $11 plus sauce $5. $76 for a simple lunch instead of the $33 meal ordered, leaves no room for tip 🤷🏻‍♂️ Burger is decent. An overall 2 star experience. Service is good.

Best meal we had in Key Biscayne. Quid ink homemade pasta with spicy tomato sauce and lobster was excellent. Service was great and outdoor dining atmosphere was lovely. Highly recommend.

We went with a large group of ladies and sat outside. The ambiance was lovely. Food outstanding.

Came in for lunch. It was outstanding. Got seated immediately and the service was exquisite.

Harold our waiter was wonderful! He explained all the dishes enthusiastically. We found the mussels provencial to be excellent and the branzino was light and flavorful! Next time we will try the crab appetizer which looked amazing. The wine selection was excellent. Delightful place for lunch or dinner.

We were able to walk for a party of 2 for dinner and had little to no wait. The server greeted us promptly and provided the menu and drink recommendations. The tables were lit with a small lamp that was touch friendly. We came in with little to no expectation and highly regarded by the 4.7 reviews! The ceviche is a must get! The tiger milk was amazing with the fish being the perfect bite size. The bread was similar to a small french roll that came out really warm! warm bread = great sign! The mussels were fantastic. The mussels were cooked perfectly as it was very plump and the arrabiata sauce was on point. Food wasn’t too salty.

Fantastic dinner, and Maia’s service was outstanding. Always an outstanding meal.

What an amazing find! Great food, outstanding service, so welcoming! We had the burrata which was so delicious, and the special fish (tilefish on Parmesan farro) and the salmon which was good but more sauce than anticipated. We finished it off with the special dessert, guava soufflé with ice cream. Just delicious. Can’t wait to go back!

I shared a beautiful dinner with my family at this exceptional restaurant. Sol was our servers name, and she was truly a professional. She has been working at Costa Med for 2 years now and is very well versed with the menu. Everything we had was amazing especially the Branzino and the Ceviche! Props to the chef.

As always when I go, it is a pleasure to go to a place as beautiful as this one. I went with my wife to have dinner in a very relaxed, familiar and cozy atmosphere. We start with an appetizer of the great and special grilled octopus, you cannot leave the restaurant without trying such a dish. It is our favorite entry. Followed by a fish filet stuffed with crab, one of the best dishes I've ever tasted, and some incredible short rib ravioli. To finish the so famous and special guava suffle. It is worth noting the extraordinary attention of the members of the place, from the owner Antonio with his unique sympathy, followed by his manager Harold who treated us with great respect and affection, in addition to his incredible server Jimena one of my favorites and the rest of the team who he responded in the same professional manner. Thank you so much, we will return without a doubt! 🔝👌

Its a wonderful restaurant, and the food is great. Unfortunately, bad service. I just called to place an order for pick up and they told me I HAVE to do it online. I told her I've had bad experience doing it online if she could just take the order. Said she couldn't, its impossible... and directed me to a website.. which tell me my order will be ready for pick up TOMORROW AT 12:30PM! Thats wonderful... I'll pick up my dinner for tonight tomorrow. Also.. hostess hung up on me. Nice.. You are not the only restaurant in town.. get with the times!

We feel so incredibly lucky to have had our rehearsal dinner for our wedding here! The food is 5 stars, so elegant and delicious! But what is most special about this place is the service. Harold went above and beyond to make this night so wonderful for us. From planning the menu to making sure we were taken care of the whole night, we could not have asked for more! His passion for food and what he does shines through. Antonio, the owner, also took the time to welcome us which was such a nice touch and really made us feel at home. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! My sister was looking for a place to host her rehearsal dinner on the Key, as she got married at Sunset Cove, and we were referred Costa Med by a good friend who lives on the Key. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt at home! The cozy decor and welcoming staff was a perfect introduction to the night. We were then introduced to Harold, the manager, who explained the menu with such passion and heart, that we wanted to try everything! That first night we tried three dishes (the short rib ravioli, the zucchini carpaccio, and the grilled octopus) - all surpassing our expectations! Harold helped us design a custom menu for our event and even took the time to set up Zoom meetings with pictures of the different dishes and accommodations they offer. He really made us fee like family. The rehearsal dinner was flawless! Harold and his team had everything ready for us and our entire party of 20 people left the dinner so happy and satisfied with the food. Again, I highly recommend Costa Med for a wonderful night out or to host an event!

This is the best restaurant on Key Biscayne. Never disappointed in food, service or atmosphere. Whether eating outside, in a booth or at the bar watching tennis, you’re made to feel at home. Antonio rocks. Last night Soel, Daniel & Luis took great care of us & Harold spent 10 minutes educating us on the secret of preparing & grilling the Galacian octopus. Scallops were amazing as well.

The French onion soup is generously portioned, savory, and delicious. It was painfully difficult to choose an entree. Having already been familiarized with the decadent assortment of ravioli during my last visit to Costa Med, I decided to go with the seared scallops over pumpkin and iberic ham & apricot chutney which was to die for. Talk about an explosion of flavor! And the perfect finish, the rich and famous guava soufflé. Perfection in every bite. We had such a horrible experience at Costa Med. We stayed at the Ritz and wanted to eat outside of the resort for one night and we were so wrong when we picked Costa Med. They didn’t like us since we weren’t the locals and didn’t order wine, and were taking time with our orders. I felt like they were pressuring us out the whole time, our waiter (some older guy who bossed other people around, so he might’ve been the manager?) was the absolutely the rudest. To make the matter worse, one of us got food poisoning from the food the next day. I wish there was a zero star for this place!

This cozy restaurant has left the best impression! Hospitable hosts, even the owner took the time to talked to us. Delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wine list and the best part was when the dessert arrived, it was a quesillo and as soon as I tried I felt myself in Venezuela again. I highly recommend this place to everyone!
