This is such a gem of a restaurant! We live about 2 1/2 hours away, but everytime we're in the area, we always eat here! This time we introduced some friends to "The Greek Place" and they loved it too!

Called in a day prior to ask if they'll be open. We were told that they would be. Got there during the hours mentioned the day prior and guess what? Closed! I can't support a business that lies to customers and has 0 consistency in their schedule. If you can't maintain a consistent schedule, then don't even bother. Wasted 30 minutes driving.

This is a hidden gem! The best Greek food in the St. Louis area. Yes I know it is in Belle Mo. if you are anywhere near here, check it out. The Mixed appetizer plate is to die for but everything we have had was delicious.

The Country Belle Cafe ( That Greek Place), is quite possibly the best restaurant in the state of Missouri. It is family owned, the friendliest staff, warm cozy atmosphere, and the food will blow your minds. Traditional Greek cuisine including Souvlaki!!!. This is a must place to dine. 5 stars !!!!

What a fabulous spot for lunch! Owners are originally from St. Louis. They left there and started this wonderful GREEK restaurant in 2013. Sweet decor - very comfortable - and great food! Hubby had a Gyro and I had a greek salad. Over the top yummy! And topped it off with baklava! To say all this was found in the heart of little old Belle Missouri... 👏👏!!!

The gyro was so yummy. The lamb chops delicious and the baklava so different and very tasty! Owners are super in every way! Great experience!

Wow. Can't believe the best gyro I've ever had was to be found in this quaint little family restaurant in the middle of Missouri, just over the hill from the edge of nowhere. The pita had a slight sweetness to it; the meat was I Mean perfectly done; the veggies were as fresh as can be, and the feta tastes like Granny makes it out back.

These gyros were absolutely amazing! The portion size was huge, the lettuce, tomato were fresh and crisp, the pita was soft and chewy, and the tzatziki refreshing and aromatic. Can't wait to go back tomorrow and try more food on the menu! What a great experience also, to be able to see into the kitchen while the chef works.

You must try this restaurant as so many excellent food choices that you typically would not realize unless you try them! We had the Greek salad and the gyro melt!! So delicious and finished off with their desert called Baklava! A flaky light and delicious homemade wonder! The owners are wonderful and our table service was excellent! Surprise yourself and give them a try! We came in from St Louis and will be back to enjoy the food and atmosphere! Thank you

Hands down my most favorite place to eat! The food is fresh, doesn't weigh you down yet fills you up and always- I do mean always taste absolutely delicious! The service is friendly and attentive. The owners are humble, kind and passionate about the food, very lovely folks. I love the vibe of the place too and it's decor it's quiet, peaceful and charming. The menu may not be extensive but it doesn't need to be, for what it lacks in variety it makes up for in flavor & authenticity. So if you find yourself in the mood for a road trip with some beautiful scenery or simply in the area I highly recommend the Country Belle/ "That Greek Place"!!! As for what to order you can't go wrong with any of it, but my personal favorite is the Greek appetizer platter and for dessert their infamous Baklava with a side of Turkish coffee. Also they're gyros and lemon potatoes are Amazing!! Really just all of it!! 👍👍

Absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is wonderful. Greek salad is a must , you'll never want one from any place else again, the potato wedges are so good get there early so you don't miss out. Everything from the tziki sauce to the baklava is home made and traditional.

Pleasant surprise to find a very good Greek restaurant in Belle. Cute town with a couple of shops....and this jewel! Nicely prepared Greek salad and my hubby had the gyro which was filled with tender, flavorful, well-seasoned meat. Unbelievable baklava! Casual setting; neat historical building; very clean; everyone serving and working in the kitchen wears masks. Friendly staff. We will return.

Absolutely amazing. The atmosphere from the moment you walk in the door is homey and cozy. Exactly what you would expect from a little country diner. There's not an item on the menu that isn't absolutely delicious and fresh tasting. Highly highly recommend and worth a little bit of a drive!!!!

You walk in the door and you’re treated like family. Although the hours at present are limited, the food and ambiance is worth the trip. My husband had the Shrimp Ethan and I had the Gyro Melt. Everything is made from scratch and the servings are large and fresh made. What we didn’t finish, we brought home. This restaurant is a gem and shines brightly in Belle, MO.

Wonderful Greek food with great specials. I had the Shrimp Ethan tonight from the specials menu and it was amazing. The giros and Greek salad are great and the fresh hummus is yummy. Can't go wrong here.

This has become destination dining for us several times a month. The quality of the food is amazing, and not what we expected to find in rural Missouri. The Greek-inspired menu offers Gyros imagined in traditional and modern options, including a grilled BBQ sandwich! I always end with a baklava as the perfect finish to my meal. I have to point out that the daily specials have been surprising and equally amazing. Dishes that I would typically expect in suburban St Louis restaurants are presented in this country setting. The owners and staff are always pleasant and engaging. We look forward to our trips to The Country Belle!

Could not recommend any higher! Besides the food being terrific, the owners are overwhelmingly friendly making you feel like you're dining in someone's home kitchen among close friends. The dining room is cozy and it's hard not to make new friends while you're there. Chef Gene is a Greek god! He makes magic happen in his kitchen!

The Gyro Melt is really good. I didnt get a picture of it, but the desert is "oh my goodness" really good.

This is one of the best gyros I have had and to find it in a small town like Belle is serendipitous. The cafe has a small menu which enables the chefs to focus on high quality products. My table ordered the supreme gyro, the vegetarian gyro, the grilled vegetable plate, and the cherry cheesecake. All four of us loved it and were very happy with the service. We will definitely tell our friends about this place!

Amazing Greek food in small town America! Limited seating but definitely worth the drive and any wait time encountered. Have eaten there several times and are never disappointed.

The Food here is awesome! The service is very personal and they care about you and your families dining needs. I love their appetiser sampler platter it is a meal unto itself. The only reason it doesn't get a full five is that the pricing is a little higher than I was expecting for a small town eatery. I will still eat here when I go to Belle Missouri.

We have gone here now 3 times and never been disappointed! Took some friends who like Greek food and they really enjoyed it! A very family friendly staff and helpful service! Lamb and seafood Ethan along with Gyros; had appetizers platter and everything was excellent!

For the second year in a row, we gathered at Country Belle Café from Illinois, Crocker, and St. James for a birthday celebration. What a smart decision we made! Great food--from the appetizer tray to veggie gyro to gyro melt to shrimp Ethan--everything was outstanding! Our waitress (a YaYa gal) did a great job of serving us and making us feel at home! Thanks to That Greek Place for a great evening.

Worth the drive! The atmosphere, the service, and the food, oh, the food! We enjoyed shrimp Ethan, veggie gyro, gyro melt, brisket, and baklava for dessert. Everything was top-notch. Thanks to this small café, in this small little town, for a great birthday party this evening. Hope to see you again soon!

Okay, for this being a random Greek place in the middle of nowhere Missouri, they are crushing it. The staff was warm and welcoming and the food was out of this world good. The BBQ Gyro was insanely good. Nothing is fried in this place, everything is actually prepared and cook, well done guys! Also, if it is your first time there you will get a complementary piece of baklava.

Food was great, waitresse was friendly and helpful. Look forward to our next visit.

If you thought you couldn't find great Greek food in a small Missouri town you thought wrong. As you enter into the beautiful building that houses this hidden gem you are greeted with hints of nostalgia, friendly smiles, and an aroma that titillated the senses. The menu offers many great options, some of our favorites are the Souvlaki, Gyro melt and the lemon wedge potatoes. Flavors burst forth in an enchanting bouquet that leaves you longing for more. If you get the opportunity be sure to treat yourself to the Carmel Apple Baklava this fusion dessert will have you wide eyed with ecstacy with every bite. There were only two disappointments. They do not currently have a liquor licence so these wonderful dishes are not enjoyed to their fullest, as a nice glass of wine would put them over the top. The second is to have feta and tzatziki with your meal is an additional cost of $2.00 for each. Not a deal breaker by any means but it would be nice to have those included in the dishes price and not considered an extra. Overall a surprising little gem tucked away in a quaint Missouri town offering great food, original ambiance, and friendly service.

Wife and I were in Belle for a visit and after we wanted to have dinner. We search and found this quaint Greek restaurant! You are greeted right away and seating is limited but service and food and quality along with prices are unbeatable! We definitely will go back and bring friends! No alcohol is available but I don’t know if you can bring wine in? Best Greek food around for sure! Complimentary baklava for first time visit and it is awesome!

Had dinner at the Country Belle Cafe with my sweetheart and her family. First time for me but the family were regulars. This benefitted me since I had dinner suggestions abound. I expect everything is wonderful, but I had a gyro plate and it couldn't have been better. Highly recommend.

Very nice small town dining experience. Food was good and there were gobs of french fries. The banana creme pie was yum too. I would recommend anyone driving near Belle to stop there. A wall of photos shows off those who have and those who are currently serving in the military. Parking is free.

An inviting atmosphere and delicious Greek-style food make this a destination restaurant. The friendly staff offers incredible service. Must be seen to be believed.

Down-to-Earth folks, and if you're not into Greek food, try the gyro melt! Gyro meat, green pepper, red onion, and mozzarella cheese on a pita, and it's huge! There's also the grilled chicken flatbread sandwich, and the BBQ gyro flatbread sandwich.

This is a small, but lively little place. The staff is super friendly and inviting. We shared the spanakopita as an appetizer, and it was excellent! Our table ordered gyro supreme, souvlaki, and gyro melt. I had the gyro supreme which featured lots of feta, crisp lettuce, and fresh tomatoes. The meat was tender and tasty without any dryness. Everyone enjoyed his or her order immensely. For dessert, we ordered both baklava and apple caramel baklava. The apple and caramel baklava is huge with plenty of ice cream. My wife and I couldn't finish the ice cream and took some of the yummy pastry home. Country Belle Cafe is a fun place with great Greek food. It's worth going out of your way to stop in!

Stopped in as we were passing through. Had the Greek Salad. Best I've ever had anywhere. Also tried the Gyro. Different but very good. The pita bread is really good. Fresh made and not teeth breaking tough. The sliced Gyro meat was ultra thin sliced deli style.

This is one of our family "go tos". The Greek food is amazing. Every item bursts with flavor. I always struggle to know what to order, because I know it will all be amazing. One time a friend and I split two items so we could both try (gyro and spanakopita) and even eating, I couldn't decide what was better. The portions are perfect to leave you satisfied, especially the gyro. The salads are huge and the small is a regular sized salad. The atmosphere is cozy and the people running it are super friendly.

Wow, this is a hidden gem. Definitely worth a special trip or detour if you get the chance. We had the gyros, veggie gyro and the a-mazing baklava. Definitely the best Greek food that I've found in Missouri. Fresh ingredients, prepared to order. Some great vegetarian options, too. Staff was really friendly and welcoming.
