Food is so good every dish my friends got was big portions and eye pleasing to look at ! And it tasted amazing!!

This was my first time trying there new location for takeout and I paid $60 for only 4 things there portions size were so small for the price I paid, I ordered to entrees that was nothing but bell pepper and onions hardly any chicken or meat was very disappointing also 2 of my family members ended up with stomach issues next morning don't recommend there food and portion size not what it used to be

I ordered 3 main dishes (Mapo Tofu, Orange Chicken, and Pad Thai). Not even one rice included main dishes?? Ended up charging 2 rices

You can veganize meals w tofu instead of animals 🐓🍤🐖🐄. We are Vegan so we go to fully vegan restaurants only now as we don’t support animal cruelty that people love eating

The food is absolutely delicious! We enjoyed the Couwami fried rice, Thai basil chicken, and the beef udon. The waitress was also incredibly nice. A great hole in the wall!

This place is great. It’s small, but the food is delicious, and the service was great. They’re very friendly and accommodating. We love Asian food nd this is the best restaurant we’ve been to in a while. We ordered about 7 different dishes for 4 people because we couldn’t make up our minds and everything tasted great! This will definitely be one of our go-to places.

Revised: 11/7/2023: this review was for the old location. I haven't been to new location yet. My sister suggested this place for our lunch before we go to Rose Hills. We ordered from the menu. They also have a lunch menu too. The menu consists of Chinese, Thai, Korean and Vietnamese food. They also have soups and salads too. Everything we ordered 6 dishes and everything is great. The portion of the food are huge and served on big fancy plates. I am coming back w/honey to eat lunch again. I also plan to meet some of my friends here for lunch too. I am coming back to try other dishes. Staff was super nice, polite and very friendly. I would highly recommend this place.

Same owners - delicious food - made to order. Very courteous staff. Will be back - great lunch specials - very filling. Eat in booths & tables. Off to a good start in new place. Across from In-n-Out in strip mall at Paramount & Azusa.👍👍

Moved just a few blocks north of previous location across from In N Out. Smaller inside but food is still good! Always craving their Couwami Fried Rice and Orange Chicken. Definitely will be eating here again!

Very good restaurant I liked the food alot

I recently visited their new small location and was rather disappointed. They seem to be struggling with smaller staff and it showed. Sorry to see this after being a long time customer. I hope things improve as they settle in.

The food was amazing. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about their service. The restaurant was understaffed. We ordered four entrées and got three in duration of 30 mins. The lady packed the fourth plate to go. The drinks weren't refilled. Overall , the food is amazing. Lots of flavor and good portions for the price.

Always a pleasant experience. Our favorites are kung pao chicken, HK pan-fried noodles with black bean sauce, and Vietnamese egg rolls. Good variety and price isn't bad for quality of food.

Just a heads up, it appears they have increased the price by at least $2 on each food item since March 2023. The waitress won't let you know until you figure it out when they give you your receipt when it is time to pay. I really have been enjoying coming to Couwami but definitely did not like that they waited at the last minute to admit they raised the prices had I not pointed it out. Might come back every once in a while now.

This place is atmosphere could use some improvements. Our waitress was coughing a lot and she was coughing with the refrigerator doors open! Beware of this place but the food was so so. I love hot and sour soup but they didn't make mine sour enough so I give it a three out of five stars.

Is good didn't give a lot of meat with the Mongolian beef was mostly veggies but the food is good price could have been a little lower an the online menu prices did not match when I went in to pick up the food

It was our first time ordering at this restaurant. The fish with black bean sauce, house special fried rice, curry chicken, and green beans were so good! The portions were huge! The green tea was so refreshing. Will order from this place again.

Good service and flavorful food.

This place is just bad. I mean really bad. My sweet and sour chicken was so bone dry, I'm sure it was left for days. Unchewable I had to spit it out. The food was also terribly greasy and after a tiny bowl, I threw the lot out. Maybe I had an experience from them, this day but I'm shocked how they find it's ok to charge customers for food that is so bad.

Brought some wings and pepper steak and it was decent. Price is affordable and the environment is decent for chatting and relaxing. However the place is understaffed and I feel bad for the one front desk who works there serving 20 people

Wow! And an amazing good kind of wow at that! Ordered lunch for two though their website and was incredibly easy. Arrived a little late but my hands where busy talking care of my niece and nephew. I only had $100 bill and he helped by giving change with what little bills he had on him so thank you to the delivery driver for this very vegan friendly restaurant! Now the packaging...probably the best. An nice piece of cardboard at the bottom of the bag goes a long way in keeping the items sagging on each other and maintain the quality of the food. The drinks came inside of there own bag so they where nice and cold. Over all I don't eat here often but when i do it is the best delivery experience I get in the area not to mention the best vegan Asian chickun dishes in Azusa!

Couwami is honestly like a home away from home. I remember going to a different Asian food place that Is no longer in operation so this place regardless bring back memories of that place and I love it.

This is my to go for Chinese food. The food is delicious and they serve good portions. I ordered the Yang Cho fried rice, Mongolian beef, orange chicken, braised jumbo shrimp. Everything was cooked perfectly. The Braised jumbo shrimp is a must try!

The food here is awesome with great flavor.. I love ordering lunch from here and always try to order something different to taste. The lunch specials are priced just right.. with many options to choose from.. comes with steamed rice or brown rice and side salad with this amazing dressing that gets you ready for the main course. If you like spicy ask for hot sauce on side.. sriracha also works. Today ordered the pepper steak lunch, it surprised me.. has a great flavor to it added a bit of chili oil they give you and just made it awesome! Full stars!

For the price this was the most awful food ever. The curry doesn't come with rice, CURRY IS SUPPOSED TO COME WITH RICE. The curry itself tasted microwaved and it was really soupy rather than thick like normal curry. The carrots in it were hard. We also ordered Mango Green Tea and I kid you not it tasted like medicine I took as a kid. Way overpriced

Delicious authentic Asian food. We have some picky eaters and everyone found something they liked. I recommend going with a big group. It is family style so you can sample more of the tasty food.

Ordered takeout at noon - crab rangoon and honey walnut shrimp. One order of each was more than enough for my wife and me. Food was excellent and I look forward to my next visit! Wait staff were very friendly. We made a great choice to eat here. Appears to be a nice family place with very good value.

I went in for Chinese food. But I noticed they had Thai and some other Oriental flavor. I did get Chinese. It was real good. Orange chicken was crunchy not soggy. Shrimp fried Noodles.
