All the food I've tried was good, love the dumplings especially!!

They recently updated, and that's pretty nice, but the food still isn't quite as good as it used to be.

Food was not as good as the old menu; service was very slow. It took almost an hour to get our food! And remodeling was sad; we miss all the toys, and memorabilia on the walls. Cracker Barrel needs to go back to the "old" way of doing things that were so much better. Doubt if we will go back.

Food has gotten worse have cut down on the food they give you but not the price

It would be great if I got all my food. Everytime I go they leave food out.

The atmosphere still looks good. Just a little update. Food is still just as good as ever. Didn't care for the pot pie, but everything else was delicious.

They tried to seat 5 adults at a small table x2. The second time I ask her where the 5th person should sit and were told on the end out in the aisle. You could tell the hostess was not happy with our requests to be offered a different table. Also, not liking the new face lift of the restaurant. Too bright and has lost the country vibe.

Waitress didn’t refill my drink and I even asked for more. Definitely don’t like the new decor wish they never changed it.

Great atmosphere, kids love this place, more for the toys… Food not so much.. But I don’t expect much from a big chain like this. We come for the experience. Ragan took good care of us.

8/24/2024 I thought that I would give it another try after the remodel. The place looks nice after the remodel but the service and breakfast food that it is known for is severely lacking. First off the server was terrible (4 stars on her gown). She acted like we were a burden on her. Took our orders and left us. After 15 mins I flagged her down and asked if biscuits and jams were still offered and she responded with "yeah" and walked off. 10 mins later she brought our cold and wrong food (and biscuits). After we told her the food was incorrect she brought other food and told us that it was a combination of both our orders and had us redistribute between us. Finally we looked at our food and noticed that it was not only cold but the portions we ridiculously small. I had an order of French toast (one piece), two eggs, and ONE piece of bacon. The grits were watery and crunchy. The only thing that seemed right was the pancakes my wife got but the syrup in the two bottles felt like it was just taken out of the refrigerator. The only person that seemed nice was the lady that I had to pay leaving but that's because I probably owed her money. This is the third time that I have ordered from this store and there is ALWAYS missing items. This time I'm missing a coffee, hashbrowns, and grits. *Update* Food was cold and had absolutely no flavor. It's pretty hard to mess up Eggs and a country fried steak but it was accomplished. My wife's pancakes were burnt as well and they forgot her hashbrowns. The only thing that seemed correct were the chicken tenders but it was consumed by a 3 year old.

Love the new decor so much cleaner and brighter and happy to see that the kitchen is running the way it is due again🥰

Went to the Cracker Barrel in Manchester Tennessee, and had a wonderful experience great service and the food was delicious more than I could eat so I brought some home and the price was extremely reasonable would highly recommend!

This Cracker Barrel recently had a renovation and it is nicely done. They used lighter colored paint and it is more open. You can better see the antique displays. The original footprint was kept so it still feels like Cracker Barrel but refreshed. Our waitress, Meg, was fabulous! Give her a raise!

The food isn't country homestyle. I don't know who they are trying to fool with their over seasoned microwaved specials. They provide an abundance of biscuits and corn bread to help push down the garbage sludge they call food.

The food was out of this world 👌, really great! 💯 But gotta say, the service was total crap. Your server was not good at all. Legit, wasn't her day or what? ⁉️ Like seriously, when I enquired about my order, the only response I got was "kitchen taking forever." 😡 What kind of team spirit is that?! 😠 It's totally unprofessional! I hate when folks disrespect their own team. 👎

Vanlife: It was great. Napped from 1-3am during x-country drive. Roomy and not TOO overly lit back lot. Saw a feral cat. That means no mice!

We ate lunch at the Manchester location. Hailey was our server she was great. And all of the food was fantastic.

To begin with I ordered biscuits and gravy and the gravy was too thin not like it has been in the past. My husband ordered the ham and biscuits and got 1 piece of ham and it was a small piece where before he would get 2 slices of ham. This time it was served on a saucer plate. I want to make a suggestion. If you offer a 20% of it should be for any meal. Not restricted to after 4pm. Needless to say we won’t be back to Cracker Barrel for a while. Our waitress was wonderful

Ordered curb-side to-go and no one brought the food out. So after sitting there waiting I go in and ask for an update. The hostess just shrugs and says "could be on the rack over there". Sure enough my food was sitting over there on a rack just getting colder and colder.

Food was great as usual, service was spectacular. Can’t remember the name of our server, tall, thin redhead. She was very good at her job. Atmosphere is different since the make over but not bad. Defense brighter!

Place was not busy. We did have a party of 9. It took an hour to be seated. Then another hour to get our food. The price has gone up. Portions have gotten smaller. If my party was not insistent on eating here I would have left.

I am a semi frequent customer of CB. My mother and I went on Friday night and was very displeased. We both ordered the coastal fish sampler. The fish was a little over done and the two pieces were extremely small. Like it was for a child's meal. I ordered a side of okra that was about a fourth of a cup and was cold. We ordered biscuits and didn't get them until half the meal was eaten. The price was high for what we received.

Everything was FANTASTIC!!! Love the new look. The Cracker Barrel in Cleveland TN has got to step it up! Still not wild about the alcohol being sold.

The food was delicious, plenty of it and it was hot. Our server was Courtney and we couldn't have had anyone any better. She was very friendly, checked to see if we needed anything more than once and was always smiling. We loved the remodel too.

I visited the Manchester, Tn. Store and I was truly amazed from the moment we walked in! The cheerfulness of the employees was amazing! Our server Meg was so helpful in our choices,the one lady manager Crystal had a smile and attitude that was very contagious! Her knowledge of Cracker Barrel was so awesome. We went back for take-out later and Alexis was a real sweet girl making sure we had everything we ordered! All the food was very very good and hot! Thank you for the laughs and SMILES!

Horrible!! New owners changed food ingredients. What made them famous has been removed. Foods are not seasoned. Just open cans heated & turnip greens are chemically treated, not country seasoned. Several weeks of eating there has convinced me only turkey & dressing is even worth eating any more. After trying everything, doubt I will return. Would have given a negative rating on food, but no option!

The dimpling dinner thar I ordered with 3 sides was delicious 😋. My sides were carrots, okra & pinto beans. It was hot & the employee that brought it out for curbside pickup was friendly. Very satisfied. Thank you.

Haven't visited Cracker Barrel in a while because the last time it was really not good. So we decided to take a chance. Wow, love the new decor. It is still very country, but a little more modern and I love the pops of color. It feels so neat and clean, but with loads of character. I also noticed the menu has changed a little. The prices seem to be better and still have all my favorites. Honestly it was a very pleasant visit and the food was delicious. We even did a little shopping in the store. Way to go CB!

Cracker Barrel is an awesom place to eat they always have good food and you can have a breakfast lunch or dinner there anytime you want.

I am an associate manager at another Cracker Barrel in Alabama, and I wanted to take a day trip up to Manchester to see the remodel CB is rolling out. The remodel looks great, but I was more impressed with how well the store runs! My server was very friendly, my food was great, and the managers I chatted with for a bit were so nice! The staff in retail were also very kind and helpful while I was shopping. Overall this is a wonderful store and is exactly what other stores in the company should be!

Online ordered at 10:00 am for an 11:15 am pickup. Arrived, waited 45 min for my online order to be ready. The staff working the registers were very pleasant, even got me a drink while I waited.

REALLY do not like the remodel - Cracker Barrel is moving SO far away from what the the founder and his family intended it to be. Everyone I spoke to in the restaurant agreed that the remodel was "Not Cracker Barrel". Please quit changing what has been perfect for decades.

Cracker Barrel’s ceo should focus more of staff training than modernizing and ruining the company. I just attempted to eat at the Manchester, TN store, and in my section there were 3 servers and a trainee taking care of 6 tables. After 25 minutes of watching all the servers pass me and not even having my drink order taken I went else. This was a much better company when the Evans family ran it.

The fried okra wasn’t crispy and the Mac and cheese was lukewarm. The trout was awesome 🤩

We arrived at closed time, we were still seated yet there were sold out of preferred chicken dinner meal.

It took over an hour to get our food, and one of the people in our party did not get his food until everyone was done with theirs, and he didn't get all the food he ordered. The waitress did her best food just wasn't coming out.

I really enjoy going to Cracker Barrels with the old country vibe. I absolutely appreciate the smile on our hostess, Jade's face when she greeted us. She made the visit worth it!

Cracker barrel has really gone down hill. I got a side salad and I tasted like it had been in the fridge for days, the hash brown casserole was cold, the okra was cold. I will never eat at cracker barrel again. It all sucked

When they drop their silverware they just pick it up and give it out to guests anyways. They also just use water to rinse the dishes rather than using actual sanitizer and soap

Food was not as good. Didn't like the changes to the store or dining room. Need to put things back the way they were. When Cracker Barrel added serving alcohol people who normally came in to eat stop coming. They then had to paint and take down the things that made it Cracker Barrel. Not a fan.

I picked a bad time for a visit to Cracker Barrel. This is not a venue I would normally select for a lunch or dinner. When I have visited Cracker Barrel it has been for breakfast and usually with friends looking for a good country style breakfast. On this occasion I was traveling and looking for a restaurant where we could sit down, relax, that offered table service. It was an early evening visit around 5 pm the day before Father's Day. There was not a wait when we arrived, I asked for a table for two and we were seated quickly. Most tables already had groups of four or more. Shortly after we arrived the place got really busy. Our server was extremely pleasant and did a good job of keeping us informed of kitchen delays. Cracker Barrel's menu has changed over time and based on current offerings if you're not into Fried Chicken or some other deep-fried meal you probably selected the wrong restaurant. They do have an all-day breakfast menu although by late morning / noon the menu changes and breakfast offerings are limited. As I mentioned earlier while our server was attentive the wait for our food was much longer than we considered acceptable. Once the meal was served the food was marginal at best. The best part of both meals was the house salad on the first order and an order of french onion soup on the second. As for the main dish both were very disappointing. I don't believe our issue was the fault of the staff but rather the quality of menu and food that Cracker Barrel is now serving.

Love love love this place!! The food is good, & the offers they have sometimes are a good deal like the pre-cooked dinners they have where you add on to a meal for $5 more, in this day & age you can't beat a good deal. My favorite part though, is the shop. They always have the best candy, the cutest trending items! I could look all day and not get tired! I mostly do take out so I absolutely love the take out system they use.

Excellent food and service. They are painting so the atmosphere wasn't the best, but I expect to see everything better than ever when they finish.

Our eggs were burnt, the pancakes were burned and rubbery. Was pleasantly surprised with the remodeling! Looks much cleaner.

The only thing I would recommend is when you have a takeout order they let you know. We would have stood there all day if we hadn't gone and checked.

We were told a 5 minute wait and were standing there 30 minutes later. When we asked we were seated in 10 more minutes, it’s like we were forgotten.

We live in the area and visit here often. Recently, visited and was served by an amazing young Lady. Though Reagan had only been a server for afew weeks we never would have known it if she hadn't told us. She checked off all of the boxes. She was prompt, polite and pleasantly professional. When she brought out our bread basket it was tasefully arranged (unlike most of our visits to other locations around the country). We asked who had arranged the basket and she said that she had. She provided amazing service. Good job, Reagan!

We ate at the Manchester, TN Cracker Barrel for dinner on Wednesday, 6/26. Our server was a sweet young lady named Reagan, and she provided the friendliest and most excellent service! The food was wonderful, down to the basket of biscuits and cornbread, which she had carefully and beautifully arranged. It felt like old times at Cracker Barrel and was such a lovely dining experience. THANK YOU!

Food wasn't hot, just tepid. Had to wait for biscuits. Okra was chewy. Server was very pleasant.

Food was good and hot portion sizes her excellent everything was cooked perfectly the roast beef was extremely tender but they have clearly made their cornbread muffins half the size that they used to be this is a conscious thing and every one of them come out the same size now they're literally half what they were otherwise they would get a full five stars for the food and our server was good she was very friendly as most of the young ladies and there are even when they are extremely busy they are pleasant

When we travel, we eat at Cracker barrel.

The grits were cold and when I ask if they could warm them, they brought them back so very hot I burned my mouth, then by the time they were edible I was finished with the rest of my meal. My scrambled eggs were scorched, cooked to long. The eggs were edible but didn't taste good. 0ne piece of my bacon was cooked to long making it hard. The gravy and biscuits was very good though.

The country fried steak was very good and the peach cobbler hit the spot

Had a curbside pickup. Pickup was quick and my food was hot. Everything was I ordered was correctly prepared.

Took 90 minutes to get food for my table of six. Meals came out at different times. Restaurant extremely busy with large parties (21,11,& a few 6). Server extremely apologetic and tried to be attentive. Pancakes where terrible. Chose a BAD NIGHT Won't be back soon

We have given this location soooo many chances, both take out and dine in, and every time we are just frustrated and feel like we wasted money there. The service is excruciatingly slow, the food was cold and greasy when it finally arrived, our server only came to our table twice and each time we had to ask for things we needed because she didn’t routinely check in and see what we needed. The take out situation is always horrendous and half the time things are missing out of our order. I think it’s time to finally give up on this location.

New server not very attentive. We had to ask for things such as knife and butter. Floor was sticky under the seat. Obviously not mopped or cleaned. Table sticky. No effort to even clean. We cleaned table top ourself.

Was a unbusy Thursday evening and took an hour to get food. Waitress disappeared alot.

This is a great place to eat but my only complaint is that the food never comes out HOT! Breakfast pancakes when the butter won't melt or your mashed potatoes are to cold to melt butter. I will never understand why food is almost always not hot.

When I visit I usually order Momma's french toast, instead of informing me of the kitchen running out of the sourdough, the kitchen decided to send out a substitute of whole wheat bread which in comparison is like apples and oranges. I ended up ordering the pancakes for a replacement which were thrown in front of me and were not hot enough to melt the butter, but I was scared to send them back, so I ate them. Then my husband finds egg shells throughout his overeasy eggs. The waitress was nice at first, but at the end Kai was rude, it was as if she thought because the kitchen messed up we wouldn't tip her, so she was done with us. When my husband handed her the cash tip she barely said thank you, she didn't even offer to get a manager for us for any of these issues. This could have been solved without a review. I usually only like giving good reviews, but we won't be back to this location.

I’m not sure what has happened to this Cracker Barrel, but I won’t be back any time soon. We waited 40 minutes for fried pickles only to be told (upon asking) that the reason it was taking so long was because they were out. There wasn’t 20 customers in the whole restaurant but the service wasn’t good and the food took forever. We used to love Cracker Barrel:(

The kitchen failed this time. Didn't inform Kye (our server) no sour dough bread for wife's order of Mom's French Toast and sent out multi-grain (would have ordered lunch) and the egg shells in my food weren't appreciated. Kye was nice enough - just put in a bad situation.

I placed a to go order and I arrived at the scheduled time for pickup only to have to wait an additional 30 minutes for my order. Then the amount of food I received was way less than the last time I ordered from there which was only a few weeks ago and the same exact food. The food also didn't taste as good this time either it was terrible.

I ordered the Chicken n dumplings with two sides and fried pickles. I had a big bowl of chicken soup...there was more juice then dumplings and chicken. Fries pickles came out after my meal because the cooks forgot to make them. I didn't complain because my server was so slammed with tables. This visit was unfortunately the second time I received sub par food.

I order peach cobbler for my birthday dessert. I get there to pick it up and they call me to tell me that they are cooking it fresh and it will be a few minutes later I says ok. Then my wife goes in to get our food and it take another 40 minutes. They still do not have my dessert. They say they have no peaches there and I have to take the cake instead.

Got a veg plate to go order ..paid 14.00 and there was such small amount of food/serving size . I was surprised and it was not worth that amount for what I got.

Worst experience we've ever had at Cracker Barrel. We had 12 people on our group. Arrived around 7:30 p.m. did not get our food until around 9:30 p.m. Everyone ordered differently. Didn't get half what we ordered; left off some of the food on breakfast orders; dinner didn't get everything on menu; great grandson ordered chicken and dumplings with mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese. He was the last one to get his food because they forgot it. He got so upset because he was hungry and tired. Probably won't be back to this Cracker Barrel. I can't recommend any of the meals below. We never complain, but did this time. It was that bad. I got my meal took off our bill. The rest of our party I don't know what they did when they checked out.

We had breakfast and it was great. Service was a bit slow but we understood it was due to a last minute staff reschedule. The flowers at the entrance were in bloom and very appealing. The fresh fruit was awesome and seasonal. There was handicap parking and access. I'd definitely like to eat there again

I placed 2 vegetable plates to go plus their $5 to go. When I got home I realized that I had to microwave the "$5 to go" as it felt like it just came out of the fridge. I also ordered the dumplins and specifically asked, "Please stir as I do NOT Want a clump of inedible dough." What do I get? A clump of inedible dough. I call to speak with management and was hung up on TWICE. Cracker, do better!

Cracker Barrel has gotten ridiculous, everytime you look up there is a non- service dog in the restaurant. I know many people love dogs and that's okay, but some of us prefer not to eat with them. It is disgusting to think dog hair is flying in the air. You really need to consider all customers and not just dog lovers. Yes, there is a difference between service aminals and your precious pet. I guess next you will freely allow cats. Do better for all people!

My fiance and I started frequenting this company at 103 Paradise St, Manchester, TN 37355, since January 2024 because living in McMinnville there is a limited supply of restaurants so we travel out. Although only a few and I do mean a few times, It seems like every time we come there...there is just something wrong with the food or where they place us! So today is his birthday 🥰! Hay let's go to Cracker Barrel! We arrived and of course the hosts walked so fast we almost lost her. And of course as always we are sat way in the back or smack dab between a row of folks, when 30 other tables are open. The wait for the food was about 45 mins to an hour! Oh and that's EVERY TIME ! Ok maybe one cook? Idk, but why did I receive my Butterfly Shrimp meal with day old fries, shrimp so hard a crocodile couldn't bite into it and hush puppies so hard that Tiger Woods could use them as golf balls? My finance's chicken was raw and it wasn't just around the edges. I suffered from salmonella poisoning years ago from a restaurant, ended up in the hospital and even though it was gone...for years after I still had symptoms. So uncooked food to me, really makes my skin crawl. So thank you for giving me that phobia of being scared to eat public chicken again. The waiter was nice, but when we told him we needed 1 more minute he took a lot of minutes! We looked over and he is leaning on the table chatting with other customers.

Out of key items including ranch dressing, jelly packets and ketchup. Service was terrible, food took nearly an hour on a Thursday night in a small town when the restaurant wasn’t even half full. My wife didn’t even get her meal after way too long of a wait. This was supposed to be a celebration night for our oldest daughter’s graduation and she chose to go to Cracker Barrel as it is her favorite place but that is no longer true. We won’t be back!

Our server was sweet, attentive and a joy to be around. I highly recommend this location to any cracker barrel lover.

Lisa and Cody ( in training) are the best servers here! If you stop in to eat which you should! I would ask for either one of them! They take such good care of you and the food is better when they are there!!! The grilled chicken tenders Mac n cheese and green beans is the best meal they have!! So come to Manchester and eat :)

Food was prepared exactly as ordered. Waitress did a fantastic job with the group that we had. Good job.
