This was a recommendation from our hotel and it did NOT miss! It was fantastic. Really great food, good prices, and personable wait staff. Highly recommended...food was delicious.

Had the pasta with clams. Pasta was overcooked and the clam sauce had way too much garlic. Bartender seemed overwhelmed and slow to serve. Nice view of the marina on the water. Atmosphere is nice better than average.

Fantastic place with great service and excellent food. Came in with my family for a seafood fix and I'm definitely glad to pick this place. Food came out very quickly and was all perfectly seasoned and well made. Quality and freshness was on point. Have zero complaints. Staff was very welcoming and friendly and that always makes everything perfect.

Great place and food but a bit hard to park. They have a big lot but a lot of people pull in and take up two spots. That aside, food was delicious and very quick service.

I recently stumbled upon this awesome restaurant in Rhode Island, thanks to a recommendation. The place has a cool, historic vibe, and the staff was super friendly and attentive. I tried the Lobster Mac and Cheese, and it was a total game-changer! The cheese sauce was rich and creamy, and the lobster chunks were huge. The warm rolls and butter were the perfect touch. For dessert, I couldn't resist the brownie sundae, and it was amazing! The restaurant has a great atmosphere, with a giant fish tank that's really cool. There are a few different seating areas, so you can choose whatever vibe you're into. I can't wait to go back and try something else on the menu!

great location and great service! nicely appointed modern nautical theme had fried whole belly clams and shrimp side of manhattan clam chowder chowder was food with good amounts of fresh clams shrimp top notch whole belly's were wet not fried crisp or as one would expect... thus you had this chewy consistency... waiter took that meal off the billl as they should.....

Swordfish was thin and overcooked, fried clams were very few and not good, squid was tough and chewy. I’m being generous with 2 stars

Everything was great, from the meals to the service! I got the stuffed chicken which came with two sides and I couldn’t finish it because they gave me so much. We were celebrating a birthday and really appreciated that multiple people who worked there joined in on singing happy birthday. We’ll be back!

Small place near the water, the environment can be a bit loud when the place fills up. The food was okay for the area but it does have a decent smell of fish inside.

Came here for my Birthday on Aug.6th. I specifically asked the bartender if the lobster mac & cheese came with a good amount of lobster. She said yes. I basically paid 28.95 for just Mac & Cheese. It had 3 nickle size pieces of lobster. That's it! Biggest ripoff ever. Never going back. I Don't mind paying for a good meal but that was ridiculous. The Espresso Martini was wonderful though.

Came here today for lunch because I really wanted chowder and clam cakes. My friend, who is normally a seafood person ironically went with a chicken parm sandwich which would normally be what I would order if we were anywhere else in the area except Iggy's. It was a beautiful day out, and this is a nice place to be on a sunny summer day. It's a great atmosphere inside. It's one of those places where everybody knows your name. Lots of locals. Lots of repeat customers. If you get both of those, you're a pretty good spot. Inside is very modern and clean. Great natural light from the outside and a view of the bay, where you can see quahoggers and other shell fishermen right outside and bringing in their catches. That's about as fresh as it's going to get. That's about as fresh as it's going to get. Service is also good. Our waiter was super friendly,. professional and polite, he got the order in for drinks and for food quickly. Not as quick on refills, however. The food came out reasonably fast as well, even though it was very busy inside. Here's where things go from a four or five star to a three star review. I would have to guess that a place like this makes a ton of clam cakes. If this was what I was basing everything on it would have been a 1 or 2 star review. The clam cakes were dark and overcooked in the outside. Inside was mushy and flavorless. It was pretty clear to me that the oil needed to be changed in the fryer and it was too hot as well. Very disappointing. The Manhattan chowder was better than the almost inedible clam cakes. It was tasty. Plenty of clams. Small cut up potatoes and a tasty broth. The chicken parm sandwich got good reviews as far as sauce goes. That was the highlight of the sandwich from all reports. It looked a little too cheesy from where I was sitting. I heard the bread was soggy pretty quickly as well. They gave a very generous portion of pretty good fries along with the sandwich. I had a few of those and they were quite good. Overall, I think it's a good, not great spot. Lots of friendly, happy people inside. Well appointed and super clean. A good menu with lots of choices. The food, however was average for most things and terrible for the clam cakes. I'm guessing on another day I would not have the same issue, but I probably won't be back anytime soon to find out. I would recommend that you try it for yourself and you will probably have a better experience than I did.

This was my favorite place for 20+ years. I haven't been there since it was sold. I have to say I have never been so disappointed. I won't be back.

First time coming here, have always passed by and said to myself maybe next time. Well this day was the day, it was a beautiful Thursday evening and the rush hour was slowly getting better. Took about 20min and took a look at the menu. So many delicious choices to make. I ended up getting the baked seafood platter. I usually only do fish and shrimp, but also got scallops, baked stuffed clam and another item. My sides were onion rings and mashed potatoes with gravy, if I new the fries were crispy I would have gotten them. My wife got the fish and chips and I always love crispy fries. Next time I'll have to get that instead. I wish I took some pictures of my meal, especially the leftovers the next day. 😁

Excellent coconut shrimp! The clam cakes were okay. Everyone enjoyed the lobster rolls. I ordered the fried seafood platter, it was extremely underwhelming. I've never had fried anything I didn't like until here.

Absolutely wonderful place cozy along the back neighborhood of Warwick along the water across the street from the yacht club. It’s been there for about 60 years. It’s had different owners over the years, but the food is amazing It is priced really reasonably fresh fish every day.

Scrod was covered in a soggy mush which I hope was supposed to be crusty. Same with the broccoli au gratin. There are too many other great restaurants in the area to have to be subjected to these inferior culinary skills!!!

Menu had a section for smaller appetites, which was perfect my small appetite. Food was absolutely delicious.

Such a vibe and the food was spectacular. Service could have been a little better but they were packed so we understood the waiting. Highly recommend the steak, the garlic knots, and the fish.

I am very happy that the new owners have kept the menu true to the original and are only updating the building and interior design. It's much fresher looking, but with the same comfort food we've gotten accustomed to over the past 20-25 years.

We were a party of 5 for a birthday. The meals were excellent. They offer smaller sized portions as well as full sized. Great service.

I loved this place but last week i was there and waitress blew my order. carpenter ants were crawling on my 8 year old grandson. i told waitress and result was nada. also shocked they do not honor our veterans with a veteran discount like every other restaurant. very disappointed management did nothing 😔

Fortunately, we made reservations so we were seated immediately. Renovations are beautiful and there was a nice outdoor seating area and additional bar. Would not recommend being seated inside if you're looking for a romantic atmosphere, kind of noisy. Food was about average, fast and friendly service.

This place is totally fine, but "fine" isn't really what I'm looking for when I go out to eat. I look to get food that is a few steps above what I can cook at home. The food here seems fresh (could be frozen) and relatively healthy even, but is boring for the price (eg a side of steamed broccoli is like $5). We ordered two seafood dishes and they were both a bit overdone. I don't really see a reason why we would come back.

Love this place, "where the locals go". Food is great and the staff is awesome. The will work with you on special orders, great variety. Deserts are yummy.

This was our first visit to this restaurant. The building itself is modern and tastefully decorated . I was mesmerized by the gorgeous aquarium, surrounded by beautiful, live Moss. We dine out quite frequently and have high expectations for what you pay to dine out, and this place checks every box. Great menu, great service, at a very fair price comparing to other restaurants. Everything was absolutely perfect from the second we arrived. As we had a reservation, we were seated within 5 minutes, outside as requested. Service was prompt, efficient and friendly. They have a fabulous menu and our food was of the highest quality. I ordered the Lobster roll with cold slaw instead of fries for $24.95. There were so much lobster in it I could hardly finish it. I could not have made it at home for that price. It was so very delicious. I also had a clam cake which was really good. My partner had the eggplant Parmesan sandwich with fries($15.95), as he is a vegetarian and he really enjoyed it. Another great thing about this restaurant is they have the regular size entrées and on the back they have smaller plates, which is great for people like me who can never finish their food. They deserve every star. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation and will definitely be returning.

We haven’t eaten here since the restaurant was under new ownership and was substantially expanded. It’s not only beautiful but huge. Many dining areas, a couple bar areas and outdoor dining. Lovely, casual ambiance. Service was very good as well. My husband hot the fried whole belly clams. He said they were good but needed to be a bit more crunchy. Others had the salmon (with a vegetable and potato) and house salad. Very nice portion. I got the eggplant parmigiana and ziti. The ziti was a little overcooked but the eggplant was one of the best ice had in a long time. Next time I’ll get it with a veggie. Eating on the patio on a 72° evening which was delightful. We will definitely be back.

OMG, I have been to the old crows nest many times. This is the first time since it changed hands, I’m going to be very blunt here!!! Absolute overpriced mediocre food at best, definitely will not go back. Seafood platter is chewy bay scallops, try using sea scallops. Overpriced garbage!

We were greeted when we walked in and seated promptly. Our waitress was wonderful. The food was delicious.

Banquet room nice but very noisy even with few people. Food good, service excellent. Can be difficult to find parking at busy times. Nice deck with a full bar and adequate seating.

Overall: 3/5 Food: 2/5 - I got the fried shrimp and my bf got the fried scallops. I thought the food was alright - came with 5 pieces of shrimp and two sides (I chose french fries and the garlic knots). The fries were alright- nothing to note but the garlic knots were so oily and greasy - it made me feel so icky eating them. The shrimp didn't come with any sauce so the flavor was just alright. Service - 4/5 : Our server was nice and the food came out pretty fast. I liked the vibe/ambiance of the place and it was clean. Value: 3/5 - My total came to around $28 with tip and I just don't think the value is there for the taste, quality, and quantity of the food. I honestly think the food taste is something that could be made from frozen food and the garlic knots were just so greasy I don't understand the hype (?) of this place. Overall, I think the strongest upside of this place is its location, ambiance, and vibes. The food and value is not there and I won't be coming back or recommending.

Food was mediocre at best. Gluten free options are labeled but then not available. Our order was messed up 2 times so my bfs food was cold by the time mine came out, which for the last time was wrong but I didn't care at that point. Don't go if you have allergies. Kitchen didn't know what was gluten free and what wasn't. Our server was very sweet and apologetic. Wasn't her fault. Everyone else needs to be trained more. It's clear. I've work in this industry my entire life and this place clearly needs help. We won't be returning.

I was greeted immediately upon walking to host stand. I was early for a reservation and was letting them know I was early but here. I believe thr manager sat us immediately as a table was available. It was very busy but waitress was on top of things, very personable, and seemed to enjoy her job. Haven't been here in years but will Def find myself here more. Food was delicious! We started with steamers. I ordered a lobster roll and my boyfriend had the swordfish with Broccoli Au gratin. I couldn't keep my fork out of that broccoli. It was so good, along with everything else we ate.

Much improved since the last time I was here. New owners. Basically same menu but much better.

Every time we go back to RI for a visit, we treat ourselves to a seafood dinner at the Crow's Nest. This time, we were sorely disappointed. The steamers were so tough and rubbery we were not able to chew them. Our big treat...boiled live lobster...was as disappointing. The lobsters had obviously been previously boiled as all the moisture had drained out of them. The shells were extremely hard to crack and the meat was stuck to the inside of the claws and took bar too much work to get it out. The tail meat was rubbery from overcooking. Guess we'll have to try another favorite for our trip back. So disappointing.

Went yesterday on a Friday night at 6:30. The food was amazing. I had the whole belly clams that melted in my mouth, they were the best I have had in a long long time. Hubby had Scrod that he said was amazing and our friend had the stuffed shrimp that was perfection. We were so impressed from the hostesses to the waitress to the chef. The food was great. The salmón was juicy and very flavorful. The only disappointment was the size of the oysters, but that's the way they are in most of the restaurants in Rhode Island..... nothing to do with Crow's Nest. Crow's nest also has the best service, and they keep their table very clean. Jessica was awesome... we love her Rhode Island accent...very original. I'm definitely coming back again.

This is not the old Crow's Nest but it is still pretty good. The interior has been renovated and it's noticeable in the prices. The lobster salad used to be our go-to menu item but they changed the recipe and not for the better. The fish and chips and the haddock were quite good though. Service was very good (Tom) as it always was before the ownership change.

They bring the salads out with your meal, but if you tell them not to do that I suppose they would move things around. Other than that fantastic!

The food, the atmosphere and the friendly service makes this place one of my favorites. Make sure to make a reservation. We started at the bar with a calamari appetizer and a couple of cocktails. Then finished off at a table w/ the main course of lobster mac and a salmon salad. The server team both at the bar and the table where outstanding

Stopped in here recently for a quick bite to eat. The service and staff were great. The food was good and fresh and priced fairly. However, the smothering of most of the Baked Seafood Platter with the house's breadcrumb stuffing was unnecessary. The Portuguese Stuffie was most disappointing; not a single clam piece was found in a shell overstuffed with breadcrumbs and sausage. Overall OK but the fish and seafood should be the stars of the dishes and not the breadcrumb stuffing. Less could be more.

Their food has gone way downhill. We had the cod lunch, and it was not fresh at all. The piece of fish was tiny. $23 including tip. Won't go there again, and I 've been many times in the past.

Somewhere between neighborhood eatery and bar and fine seafood dining. Amazing drinks, delicious food, and wonderful service. Many really appreciated there are smaller sized versions of most entrees for those watching portion control. I had really delicious full belly fried clams.

Great fresh seafood in an awesome warm atmosphere. Overlooking the boats in the water there is outdoor and indoor seating. Service is awesome, very friendly, on top of everything. Swordfish was delicious, the New England clam chowder was off the charts. Everyone's dishes were empty by the time the check came. Nice size menu with items for everyone not just seafood, they also have chicken and steak.

Crow's Nest used to be a favorite spot for us under the old owners. We were glad when it reopened and tried it a few times. We found the noise was awful, the food had gone down and the wonderful grapenut pudding was gone. Tried a few more times, food ok, noise uncomfortable. We decided to give it another try Friday evening. Made reservations and got right in, given a postage stamp table but the sound seemed a bit better even with several very large groups. We were not told the specials, husband wanted chicken parm but didn't find on menu. In the past, the stuffed chicken breast had been large and delicious, so he ordered that. I had had good fried clams in the past, so I ordered the fried clam roll. The so called "stuffed chicken breast", was the size of a small scope of ice cream. It was not a breast. it was a very thin, small cutlet wraped around stuffing. There was no bread coating to hold mositure, it was burned and so hard that is was a helmit, no meat, you could bang on it, couldn't cut it. The clams looked good at first, generous portion, but they were soggy and mushy, even the hot dog roll they came in was soggy. Obviously the fat had not been hot enough. The waitress, when she came back, we were well into the meal and she was serving a huge party, apologized. SHe did take something off the bill. Needless to say we will not be back.

Food just didn't really have flavor. Best thing I had was the clam cakes. Chowder is bland. Broiled scroll had to much bread Crum and my wife had the fish tacos. Also bland. Beer was cold atleast

Wow, what a pleasant surprise. Last time I was at this place it was pretty bad but completely renovated now and a great spot on the water in warwick. Food was terrific, bartender was great and the place is beautiful. Highly recommended!

Clean, delicious, and friendly. We enjoyed a market price lobster roll, the New England clam chowder, and local beer.

The steamer clams were way too sandy and gritty, even the clam cakes had sand in them. The chowder was great. Paid out for the baked lobster which was two pathetic pieces of tail meat, the claws and a bucket of stuffing. Mashed potatoes are real, but lacking any flavor, but the gravy seemed like it was from a can. Feel like I severely overpaid for what should have been a nice dinner.

Consistent, delicious lunch served with a smile at reasonable prices. Always love the Crow’s Nest whenever we’re in the Warwick area.

Just terrible food and one of the worst meals I have had at a restaurant in years. Horrible salmon and beneath heavy sauce the fish had a taste that it was too old. Rolls tasted like freezer rolls. Swordfish was small and oddly served in two small pieces. Vegetables were a throw back to mass prepared foods. The food is a complete disgrace. Service was excellent and setting is fine however we will not be back until there is new ownership.

First time visiting the legendary Crow's Nest - we enjoyed our dinner, and a comfortable booth. The menu is classic New England seafood and pasta. Our dinners were good, and the portions are large. I provided a 4* food rating, as the menu had a number of fried apps and dinners -I am not a "fried food guy". Just personal preference. My dinner was baked scallops and veggies with a salad, which were all good.

Service was awesome, Food is always great, and after its renovation looks great. One of my family favorite places to go all year around 👏

Crows Nest cancelled reervations 4 days before New Years Day..saying they will be closed..they said they just decide.

Went to lunch. I had the linguine with clams. The worst I ever had! The sauce was dirty clam water full of sand, For 24.dollars so much for the description of a wine sauce. Won't be going there again!

Great service they have a smaller plate menu which is great if you want a smaller portions

This was our second time here and Michael was our server both times. We’ve had a great experience here because of him! He is attentive and makes you feel welcomed. We’ll be coming back again and recommending this place because of the quality service and food that we received!
