If you're looking for a small family owned Italian restaurant this is the place to go. It's byob and we didn't have time to stop and get a bottle of wine, but they let you go next door and bring drinks over from over the bar Cafe so that was a nice touch. I had the veal parmesesn which I try at every italian restaurant that serves it and it was among the best. The flavor of the veal came through and was not drowned out by sauce and cheese. My wife had the seafood linguine special and the portion was large and full of shrimp, scallops and clams. We also had a side of bolognese that was incredible. also cannot forget the bread served with garlic infused oil, red pepper hummus and olives when we sat down. The ceaser salads we had were also delicious. Our server Yankee was on the mark.as well. We will definitely be returning soon!

We went there for dinner. We ordered an appetizer with calamari and shrimp, two entrees with casa salad, and an almond cake as dessert. All food are great and the cake is the best! The sweetness is just nice, with almonds’ fragrance and a little bit sweet char flavor. Friendly service, nice atmosphere, family style

Chef Eric and our server Mike were fantastic! Our large group was able to enjoy a delicious business dinner in a timely fashion. Apps, entrees, and dessert were absolutely incredible! The Cesar salad was perfectly composed, they make their own mozzarella, and the specials are on point! You could taste the love and passion that created each dish. It was so nice that Chef Eric came out to meet us and personally described some of the dishes to us. The owner was a little unprofessional about an accommodation we needed, but the food and other staff made up for it, so I would still highly recommend this establishment.

I had high hopes as this place came recommended for its authentic Italian food. Way overpriced and cash only. BYOB. Basic atmosphere and cold upstairs and you can’t help but be interrupted by the stomping feet up the stairs or call outs to Chef. Our waitress was accommodating but we definitely felt rushed. Wedding soup cup about 4 oz had no taste. The Caesar salad was basic Eat N Park style and Chicken Parmesan was ok. Pasta was a tad hard.

Went here as a date night Pros: cute, cozy restaurant. I like the 2 story idea of the restaurant. We ate on the 2nd floor. Our waitress was amazing and didn't bother us too much, which I really enjoyed. The warm bread they serve you with red pepper hummus AMAZING. Cons: ordered the wedding soup that lacked a major flavor. The pasta was super hard in the soup. The meatballs in the soup were fantastic. My dinner was the Bolognese pasta dish my 1st time ever having it so good. I thought the carrots were going to be crunchy, but they weren't THANK YOU, lol. My husband had the chicken parm over pasta and red sauce, and none of it had no flavor he did enjoy the asparagus. Would go again to the chefs. Don't be afraid to use a little salt. Oh yeah it's cash only🙄

Food was excellent. Atmosphere is average at best. Downstairs feels like a pizza shop. Upstairs is simple, but small open room which can get loud if full. Service was terrible. Took 30 mins to get bread and for someone to open our wine. Two hours to get to main meal. Our server apologized continually about the service she was providing. She also said there was only one person working in the kitchen, so everything was slow. Will not be back

The food is good, and the location is fantastic. Be aware that they only take cash, and they do not serve alcohol. You can bring your own but know that they charge a corkage fee, whether you bring your own corkscrew or not. No one has ever clearly explained to me why such a fee exists. Why am I paying them to drink my own wine?

First I like BYOBs. And I love Italian. There were 4 of us. We started with sharing the fried zucchini with marinara and the bean and greens. I enjoyed them both, especially the zucchini which was very light and tender. The beans and greens were good but not as good as mine. I felt a little more cooking to soften the greens would have helped. The bolognese was fabulous. We all got some combination of this sauce. I had excellent ravioli. My husband had pappardelle. The topper was the cake. So white and delicious. Almost like wedding cake. Apparently made by the owners’ mother. I can’t stop thinking about it!! So all in all one of the better restaurants with a casual atmosphere that I have been to in a while. The cost was reasonable for this time in our lives.

I was out celebrating an accomplishment by myself and man was this a treat! The beans 'n greens was just like my Great Grandma used to make, a farmer from the Puglia region. Caesar salad was fresh and delicious, and I loved actually tasting anchovy, although subtlety. Had a craving for chicken marsala, and I wasn't disappointed! The almond torte was light and airy, with just the right amount of butter cream to balance out. My better half will enjoy the tiramisu. My only complaint is that the tiramisu was a little on the small size for $12. Paris was warm and welcoming, taking great care of me! I'll be back ...

Cucina Vitale is a quaint restaurant that is not only cash only but also BYOB. The service was very good but needed additional help. The restaurant is 2 story and not easily disability accessible even on the street level. Reviews described this as a hidden gem. We agree. Small, but two stories (and two kitchens, one each floor!) Very nice staff. Cute little place, good Caesar salad, wife had shrimp & calamari appetizer, sauteed (not breaded and fried). I had veal with peppers in marinara. All very good. We came here for our 1st anniversary. The service was excellent! The food was great, my husband had the veal parm and I had pasta with peppers which had the perfect heat and flavor. Brad and salad were great as well. They followed COVID guidelines very well, and it’s a very intimate spot if that is anyone’s concern. One small drawback is it’s cash only but they did an excellent job communicating that when we made reservations and upon arrival. It is also BYOB, but I actually enjoy being able to bring my own drinks and the servers still opened and served for us. I would definitely recommend!!

Very cozy dining area with only 20 or so seats and open view of kitchen. Did I say BYOB?? :) Entrees are ample and housemade. Pricing is generally in the $20 and up range for entrees for dinner but all come with choice if soup or salad (which is made of nice, healthy spring mix) vegetable and starch so not bad pricing considering what's included. Also you're served a basket of warm, Italian bread and a trio of dips. Tonight was a garlic/olive oil, hummus, and olives. Very cordial, welcoming service too.

Cucina Vitale has been one of our favorite restaurants for over a year - in fact, we have had a weekly Friday night reservation for that long. We have always felt welcomed. Last Friday night we had our usual reservation and were delighted to see the restaurant bustling. We had a 6:30 p.m. reservation, enjoyed our meal and had two sips of wine left at 8:05 p.m. Our server came to the table and said, “You have to leave right now. We need the table”. We were dumbfounded. Had we been told we needed to leave by 8:00 when we arrived we would have been glad to do so. The evening ended on a sour note and bewilderment that long-standing customers would be treated like that. Sad....
