Amazing experience! We were greeted right away and welcomed with samples of some cheese to try. We sat outside and waited for our food which came quickly, and it was incredible. My friend who tried the Mac and cheese said that it was the best she has had in her life. The BLT was amazing as well.

Now this place gets 5 stars for being the whole package. I was entranced by the Wine, Cheese, and Beer sign outside representing the 3 major food groups. Upon entering your greeter by a lovely display of meats and cheeses....all of which are superb. The crew was super friendly, helpful, and their service was top notch. The place was clean and quaint! Can't wait to come back during my next visit.

Yes to this local business providing excellent cheese and delicious lunch selection! I enjoyed the Parisienne sandwich, which had ample French ham, emmental cheese, mustard and cornichon. DELICIOUS! It was served on soft ciabatta with crisp, thin chips and a pickle spear. I also enjoyed the crab soup which was light, aromatic and flavorful with PLENTY of juicy crab meat.

On a whim (since we love cheese) and while traveling through Culpeper, we stopped by and let Jeffrey make a spontaneous charcuterie tray for us to bring to a local winery on our travels. It was sooooo perfectly matched and delicious!!! Will definitely stop by again when in town!!

This is such a great business - the staff are super knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and courteous; the wide array of cheese and other products is fabulous. This is the "go to" spit for outstanding sandwiches, soups, salads and flatbread. Out of this world good!

Great cheese and great people. Fist time I came in here the owner told about his favorite cheese’s, place to check out and events that where up and coming. They even let me charge my phone when it died so I could get home. 10/10 place, would recommend if you want fun cheese’s, good wine and great people.

Visited today and just loved this place. We were given detailed descriptions and tastes of any cheese that caught our interest. The raspberry cheddar (not the right name but something like that) may be the best cheese I’ve ever had. AND they are opening a wine lounge!!! GO!!!

I visited from the UK and found Jeffrey incredibly welcoming. I left with an apricot and ginger cheese which was simply magnificent.

I am so glad that Culpeper Cheese Company reopened! I'm late to the game visiting their new location, but I'm sure going to add this as a regular stop! We love a good charcuterie board, and Culpeper Cheese Company always has a wonderful selection to create from! The staff are absolutely so wonderful. They usually have different cheeses to sample. They are so knowledgeable on their cheese options and really help you decide what to get with their descriptions and information. They're kind and patient while taking the time to share their knowledge. You absolutely should make a stop here! Worth every penny for quality, as well as the wonderful people! And supporting small businesses whenever you can is fantastic!

Not a happy customer went to use $15 gift card and was told “we don’t except them anymore since we moved “ a gift card is a gift card no matter what!! it should be accepted!!!😡 especially if it’s theirs…

Do u like cheese? Are you near Culpeper? If u answer yes to both these question, stop here! I love when the owner of an establishment loves what he does for a living…Culpeper cheese is one such example. The owner was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful…and has some Awesome cheese:-)

A nice, clean, organized shop with a nice variety for selection. The man here makes delicious food, and he really takes his time to make it well. I can't wait till I visit again to try some more.

Over 55 varieties of cheese and a dude who really knows all the history. The food was really good, though a little bit pricey for the portion sizes. All in all, the visit was a great experience for me and my 12yo daughter, who is always interested in trying different foods.

Happened upon this adorable cheese shop on our visit to Culpeper. We enjoyed their wide selection of cheeses and tasted some new unique flavors. The monger was friendly and knowledgeable and generous with his time, information and tastings. We only purchased some cheese and snacks (great dried mango!) on this visit but we left hoping to return for a lunch someday soon. Highly recommended.

If you haven't checked out Culpeper Cheese Company , run...skip ..drive...bike...walk, any way you choose, but get there!!! Stopped in today and picked up an AMAZING sandwich!! The shop is beautiful, the staff charming and fun, as always and the food... well..they asked if I wanted it heated up and I said "no, no, I don't know when I'll be eating it" ... about two seconds after I got home that baby was in the oven!!! Next time I'm just going to eat there... can't wait to go back!!!

Awesome service, people, selection and food!

Hands down the best shop in Culpeper. Everyone in this shop was extremely helpful, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The selection of cheeses, jams, crackers, and meats were endless. The kitchen was phenomenal. My husband and I shared the five cheese grilled cheese lunch box and tomato soup. I will never be able to eat another grilled cheese again because I will always compare it to this ooey gooey delicious sandwich.

Where do I start?! Beginning to end all around a great experience! As soon as I walked through the door I was welcomed with a warm greeting and friendly faces all around. Jeffery and his staff are wonderful people and helped this previous cheese lover who was forced to go dairy free, find all kinds of goodies and even a sandwich to boot! He has some of the most delicious gluten free bread, and made me a killer Italian Sammy that left me wanting to come back for more! If you’re looking for delectable meats and cheeses, unique treasures and an all around feel good experience make sure you stop by Culpeper Cheese Co. You won’t be disappointed!

Another GREAT, little local store downtown. Really neat, unique cheeses, including French varieties...stuff you are not going to find next to Lucerne at the grocery store. They also have sandwiches ready to go and drinks if you want to grab lunch from a unique place. See Scott, he's the man!

A great selection of beer, wine, and cheese! We’ve popped in for lunch several times and always have an exceptional experience. They have a nice charcuterie board, plenty of soups and sandwiches, and of course, lots of wine and beer. Particularly, their gazpacho is incredible! The service is friendly and efficient. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping in here to eat or pick up cheese/wine/beer to take home.

Impressive selection of cheese, with free samples on the day I visited. Was also very impressed with the prepared sandwich and other good options. The service was great, and they gave lots of good beer and wine recommendations.

Excellent multifaceted place to enjoy a snack, lunch, a meal, a glass of wine, or shop a wine array of wine and gifts. They have this unique wine dispensing machine that was completely new to me! You are given a card and insert into the wine machine. You can then select from the wine of your choice and choose to pour, a half glass, or full glass and your card will be charged accordingly. I loved it! Also, we stopped in for lunch along our travels and had some panini sandwiches with their amazing cheeses. What more could you ask for?!? I felt I had a mini vacation abroad all while tucked away in the back of this little gem. Will definitely make this a stopping point whenever traveling through :D

The staff here is fabulous. So warm, inviting, personable, and knowledgeable. I was barely a foot inside before I was offered some AMAZING cheese. Had a panini and it was divine. Good for a light lunch. I'll def come back with friends for a cheese tasting.

Had a damn good grilled cheese sandwich here for lunch. Every person in the shop offered to help me with tastings, questions, or how I wanted my sandwich - it's not a fixed menu. Also: self service wine vending machine.

Husband and I come here often to drink wine and beer and eat cheese, good salads, soups, meats, everything is so good.

Definitely my favorite place in Culpeper. Jeffery and Jennifer are warm, welcoming, and wonderful. It feels more like visiting good friends (who happen to be experts on wine, beer, and cheese- the best kind of friends haha) than visiting a store. The ambiance of the shop reflects this about them- warm, welcoming, and wonderful. Several comfortable areas are waiting for you to chat with some friends or while enjoying delicious lovingly prepared sandwiches (though sandwich seems a little blah to describe the luscious offerings available) and a glass of wine. If you need a space for an intimated event, look no further! I recently held an event here and it ran so smoothly (and I truly credit the staff at the cheese company). I'll stop gushing. Just stop in and you'll see for yourself!
