Excellent attention from the employees... and especially the rock burgers

I first want to say that my family goes to this Culver's frequently, at least once or twice a week since it's been in Crete. I have never had an issue with them that they did not resolve with great customer service...until now. It's been almost a month ago now, I went through the drive-thru with a pretty big order, when I got home I was missing an order of chicken tenders and one order of fries. I called immediately and the young lady that answered apologized and since I was not willing to drive back that night she offered to send a voucher for two (2) chicken tender meals. She took my address and promised that they would be in the mail the next day. After a week or so and no voucher, I called again, this time I got a male employee, once again he apologized for the inconvenience, he also added that they had been waiting on vouchers to come because they had ran out. He took my address and promised that they would be in the mail the next day. So once again a week or two passes before I think about it again. I call again and once again I get a male employee, I tell him my issue, he puts me on hold for a minute or two, comes back and tells me that he would have to call me back because they are busy and then HANGS UP IN MY FACE!!! I am too outdone! As I said they have always been courteous and professional and always corrected their mistakes. I don't even want to call again to try to correct THEIR mistake. I am not saying that I won't ever go to this Culver's again, but it might take me a while to get over the poor customer service and the fact that I paid money for food that I never got nor got compensated for! SMH!

Come in at 3:20 pm , staff and food is completely incredible! Especially the staff , I have never seen such a good organized team . I wasn’t feeling like I was at a fast food restaurant , it seemed like a higher class restaurant. Very welcoming !!!

I would give a higher rating if it weren't for the fact that I went through the drive up; I ordered a short concrete mixer vanilla with Reese's peanut butter cups. But, received added ingredients... Snickers. It ruined what I was craving. I do like the food. Unfortunately, this was the 2nd time my concrete mixer was ruined. Previously, they over mixed it and served us butter with Reese's. We couldn't get their custard for a year. Literally made us sick to our stomachs. No, we didn't eat it all. We couldn't. It was awful. I hope the next time there won't be any negative incidents, again.

It's a cut above other fast food places

Outstanding restaurant the food is hot and great service can be improved they got my order wrong 3 times but really enjoyed the food and the shakes

The place is very dirty and the help is not trained since the place was sold. Very disappointed.

Ice cream was all melted didn't taste good at all

I frequent many different Culvers and this location has some some issues with its product and service. The first mess up was my concrete a couple of weeks ago. The manager who resolved the issue was accommodating and friendly, so no real qualms with that issue. Tonight I ordered a double butter burger with grilled onions, ketchup, mayonnaise, lettuce, and tomato. I did not get ketchup ot lettuce and my onions we’re not grilled; more like mushy onions. Just not a good sandwich today, which i tossed half of it. I will not be back to this location anymore.

20240710: We did the drive thru. I had the spicy fried chicken sandwich combo, and my brother had the sour dough patty melt with a chocolate shake. We liked our sandwiches, and the ctinkle fries were hot and tasty but didn't have a crispy outside. The drive thru was efficient, too.

Unfortunately the only time I can afford Culver's excellent double deluxe cheeseburgers is when I have a BOGO coupon. Otherwise I would stop by each time I drive by. The other benefit of a purchase is that after you leave you are provided a receipt that you can go online and complete that entitles you to either a scoop or a cone of their excellent frozen custard. All in all an experience that I look forward to. I'll be back.

Good food, good people. My last review was not so good. But, they have redeemed themselves. I've been back twice since my last review and both times everything was spot on! They really worked out whatever hindrance they had and it seems to have gotten much better again! Keep up the good work and good food! I wish I knew the server's name so I could thank her again here! Dinner shift yesterday, was very busy, but she had a smile on her face and seemed to be very in tune with not only the customers but also very kind and polite. Great job, thank you for turning it around and making my daughter happy again that she's getting her ice cream!

Me and my family go here often , We love it. Food is great , it's Clean , friendly And good service .

Well for starters, when the cashier came to open a second register, he tapped in his sign on and began to look around up at the ceiling, no "hello, I can help you here. Never welcomed us to the restaurant. I can honestly say it's not the quality of service they normally provide. The lady behind us was so taken back by his behavior she Whispers to my wife, "I think he's waiting for you guys" and to make the visit worst they bring us our large order with someone else's food in it. Maybe that young man should just bring the orders to the customer's cars. Not ready for first contact.

The ice cream concrete mixers were really really delicious and made well the chicken sandwich was great as well! It was really busy there were a few hiccups with my orders but the young man that brought the food out to the cars was really so polite and professional we quickly found a solution to the issue's at hand; I'd go back again👍😊

Whatever I aye came back to haunt me 3 hours later...would have to be really sure I wasn't getting bad food before I would go back...

I repeated my order twice once at the window and once at the speaker. Then I got the order home it was wrong.

They charged my card twice for 60 dollar order and practically called me a liar. Had to file a claim at my bank and everything. Very rude about the whole ordeal. Will never ever spend my money here

Great food, great service. New bacon was delicious.

No one was behind us and we were there before they were closed, but they decided to close early and not serve us in the drive thru.

Fish was not like you see in advertisements! However, location is convenient. However, we will be back!

Not only did I have to get out in rain cause they screwed the order up and the person taking orders is rude and very unprofessional, the staff on inside was even worse the manager steps in call his self fixing the order and to only get alway home in ford heights to find out I got chicken sandwich instead of the double deluxe burger I order to call and get his nasty mf attitude is ridiculous to give someone who paid 21.37 for two sandwich and for him to question his staff like I had to lie about a soup like who does that I will never come here again they take the fast right out of fast food I don’t recommend this location there rude to certain type of people and that’s crazy

Sadly this location is not what it used to be. Food is not consistent, orders are missing items or given wrong items.. sloppy.

Food is pretty good not going to lie

The workers are trained very well.They place is very clean.Floors even in the back cause u can see.I love the single hamburger everything on it.Its the RED onion that is so good on it.

Pleasantly greeted by staff. Nate helped me with my order is was amazingly cheerful & nice. I took Forever to order and helped me with the menu and was Super patient. I ordered a Cheeseburger, strawberry peach mixer, and a large fry. All of the food was fresh and ready within about 5 mins.

The fish was tasty but I had to soak out the oil. It was literally swimming in oil.

Done coming here for a mixer. Ordered a strawberry cheesecake extra cheesecake and got 5 pieces of cheesecake(I counted) for 7 bucks and asking for EXTRA I should have gotten way more. This isn't the first time I've had this issue but it will be the last. My husband ordered a cookie dough and ends up with a ton of cookie dough chunks but you give out 5 pieces of cheesecake when someone orders extra.

One of the smaller locations. Food was hot and fresh. I would have eaten there but on continuous occasions the floor is disgustingly sticky. This happened to be a time before 130 . When I walked in it was one other table dinning inside. But because of how nasty the floor is and sounds and feels when walking across especially by the fountain drinks I will continue to grab and go or use the drive through. Otherwise no problem.

A few years back, I never had an issue with my order being wrong, but now it's always wrong. Even when I correct them when reading back and its still wrong. Especially when some ingredient causes allergies smh.

Beautiful place. The staff is always kind and I've never had them mess up my order In the dozens of times I've been there. Personally I enjoy the butter burger but the chicken is also good. I would suggest going here if you enjoy Culver and are in the area.

I love coming here with my kiddos and wife. Always great food freshly made, nice staff, and great ice cream. Bathrooms are always clean and we've never had an issue. PS: the tenders here are amazing I'd recommend the boom boom sauce!

I was heading out of town and realized I hadn't eaten all day and it was affecting my thinking. So I stopped at Culver's at 3:20 pm and I ordered a kids' meal butter burger with everything on it with cheese and asked them to add blue cheese crumbles I didn't get the blue cheese. I got Swiss cheese instead of American. I was disappointed because it was already late in the day and I had a 4+ hr drive ahead of me so I didn't want to turn around and get it corrected. I was too hungry to care and the service was pretty fast.

You would think for spending almost 65 dollars they can get the order right. Last week they forgot the custard to the kids meal. Since I'm an hour away I wasn't going back. All they could do is send coupons in the snailmail?! No app or email?! Its my fault because I should've been proactive and checked my bag before I left.

I had another bad experience with curbside service. I had to call, again, to get my order. This time the girl stated that I was parked in the wrong spot. I told her not to tell me where to park. I was at the front door in a spot closest to the door. My order was cool. It had been sitting without being delivered I think. This will be the last time I will go to Culver's in Crete IL. There have been too many problems on too many occasions. Update: I was contacted here about further discussion. THERE WILL BE NO FURTHER DISCUSSION. I was treated badly on too many occasions. You will no longer receive my business.

Fish sandwich was overcooked, and the fries were cold, but, the fruit punch was nice. This experience was the first for me.☹️

We always have a great service inside and drive thru

I went around 4:47pm today (order #41) and got a spicy chicken sandwich, regular chicken sandwich, garden veggie burger, fries, cheese curds, and a scoop of vanilla and Oreo which was the flavor of the day. The fries did not come through and later on I was told they did not enter this order even though I told them I wanted fries. I also never got the custard. I called in about the missing items for my order and was told I would get a coupon in the mail for the scoop I didn’t get. I told the person working there I ordered 2 scoops so that would need to be a coupon for 2 scoops. Still waiting on those coupons. Will update when I get them.

A good Culver's and being right off 394 is nice.

Are you guys not allowed to give ketchup?? You ruin my meal every other time I come there by just ignoring the fact I want ketchup. I ask for ALOT and you guys keep giving me none. Which ruins the meal for me. Couldn't be more irritated

Ordered a double,the patties were smaller than the palm of my hand and thin. If this is how they are doing things now I will not be going back. Went through the drive thru. Service was good but that doesn't make up for the tiny patties. I won't be going back.

Culver's has undoubtedly set the bar high when it comes to delivering a top-tier burger experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality, but it was the burger that truly stole the show. Perfectly cooked to a tantalizing tenderness, each bite was an explosion of rich, savory flavors, complimented by fresh toppings and a bun that held everything together just right. A well-deserved 5-star rating, and I can't wait to return for another delightful meal! I rated the atmosphere a 4 due to the volume. This is outside of your control however it did impact the experience.

Terrible service, waited 35 minutes receive order incomplete. Person delivering order clearly did not want to be there. Float was watery.

So finding out when you order cheese curds they now charge you $.35 cents for the marinara sauce, and that goes for ranch dressing also? Any one else come across this at this location in crete? Don't have any other locations up charging for this, was not greeted at the door, as previous employees did when you walked in. Kind of seems like it's a bother for some of them to be there. Grilled cheese was a cheese sandwich cheese was cold not even melted. Hopefully they get it together soon!

Very short staffed. Usually a Great experience. Management stepped up but after being rudely ignored with attitude!

New owner service and quality of food has tanked. Whole new staff always playing around. When order cheese curds they are charging extra for dipping sauce.

Spent $16 for a chicken sandwich (plain) and asked for honey mustard sauce, and they wanted me to pay extra for one sauce packet.. workers rhere are very unfriendly as well.. not cool Culvers!

Culvers restaurant at this location was good for the drive-through service. My wife and I make this stop on every trip to Chicago when we travel to see the kids. Thanks for being in the right place, Culvers.

Not sure I'll try again. Beef cooked to shoe leather, patty way smaller than bread. Just no flavor. Bring back the supper club.

The new way to order is harder if you don't know what you want, I like to be able look at the menu while ordering and I understand why the girls are out there taking orders but I feel pressure to have my order ready and hurry up. I also asked for a cup of soup and she must not have ordered it because I didn't get one or pay for it but my husband was sad, he really wanted it lol

This is my favorite fast food place to go to anytime. The staff are always friendly, the food always hits the spot and fresh cheese curds are to die for!

On 6.6.23 during lunch ordered single burger, onion rings and soft drink...Approximately 15-20 minutes after consuming the meal, I experienced nausea and vomited up what appeared to be onions? The entire meal was regurgitated.. It was an awful experience, only my second time visiting the Crete location and will never return!!!

Went to try a cooler on Saturday 5/27/23 for dinner and the girl at the window was so rude and mean!! Her face said it all, asked an employee for her name and they said Alondra?

Great food and great staff. They don't do the 10% off for truck drivers like Monee though.

Seems like owners don't care about customer service anymore at Crete Illinois. My order came through the drive through and he said everything was in the bag. I asked are you sure? He said yes. I looked at my daughter and said are the 2 kids chocolate with cookie dough ice creams in there? She said no. So I pull up and in the pouring rain my daughter goes inside and has to ask for part of the missing order. I drive home which is 10 minutes away and as I'm unpacking my son who was home says "Where's my medium chocolate shake?" I'm like are you kidding me! I also 100% remember ordering that and have the receipt and they forgot that too. I'm like ok a mistake is a mistake. It Is what it is. I try Facebook messaging them. No response. They haven't made a post in 7 years. I try calling their phone number. Goes straight to a voice-mail and says "Voice-mail box is full." And hangs up. Can't contact them whatsoever. You'd think as an owner you'd make sure people could contact you and you can respond with an inquiry. I guess I'll drive an extra 5 minutes from now on to Schererville or St John where this never happens

Great food great service, but messed up on my order

This time the hamburgers were terribly greasy.. Grease was just dripping out our burgers.. Would have taken them back but suddenly got crowded.

Can’t remember when I received an order correctly.

When you spend $40 to buy lunch for yourself and friends you expect the food to be hot . The burger was lukewarm at best . The fries were reheated . The Minute Maid Lemonade was the star ⭐️ of the show (SMH). This is the third or fourth time the food has been average or below average. The place in general has gone down in general . Maybe it's time for a new drive thru speaker as well because I have to repeat myself 20 times . If I wanted average I'd go to the Burger King down the street. Next time I'll just go to the Culver's down the road.

Whoever made the mushroom & swiss on 8/14/2022, at around 12 PM needs a promotion

We love Culver’s but this place put a bad taste in our mouths. In early February, they gave us the wrong order through drive-thru. When we got home, we checked the bags and called the restaurant. An employee reluctantly offered a coupon for a free sandwich, to which we agreed and provided our address. It’s the end of March…why even bother pretending you were going to fix the situation? Poor customer service…

Great burgers always. I love their Ruben sandwich too. Plenty of meat and usually very tender.

Ordered lunch today, girl at window repeated my order correctly then gave me the wrong order, which I didn't know til I got home. Couldn't even eat what they gave me.

3/6/23 I ordered five burgers from the location. Only one was made right. I had just got off from working a 12.5 hour nursing shift, asked my kids what they wanted to eat, and waited in lane 1 for the order. I Ordered the food specifically, went home, got comfortable in pjs, when my daughter said mommy the food wrong. I drove back to the location in a gown and gym shoes. Waited in line behind two customers waiting just to be told upon getting to the window that the grill closed at 10p and i could get coupons NOT A REFUND or REMADE food an two cars had just left with orders right before me. Amanda the manager told me this and I told her it’s children at home hungry and she didn’t care. As I said I had just got off work from on the north side at northwestern so hadn’t cooked! So I said please just take the burgers and left. I didn’t have the energy to fuss! No food no refund no nothing!

Very sparce with the fries for the price we paid for cod dinners.
