I came here hiping for a sit down restaurant, but it's only take out. Since it was only take out i just got things i could eat on the go. I ordered samosa and naan. The samosa pastry was thick and still under cooked, filling didny have any flavor that i could tell. The naan was okay, had a faint refrigerator taste like the dough has been sitting. Staff was friendly and quick.

I want to start by saying I hate giving bad reviews but this really needs to be shared. I spent way too much money to be so disappointed. This was a door dash order granted it was ordered with more than an hour before they closed. I have had my fair share of Indian food. This not only gave me food poisoning but it was the worst butter chicken and chicken tikka masala I have EVER HAD. The naan and the rice were good. The 2 main courses seemed like they were just left over sauce that added some cream it had no flavor and no matter what I did I couldn’t make it better ended up throwing most of it away. I would not suggest to go here, I never will again. This is such a bummer because I LOVE INDIAN FOOD!

I have lived in the area since 2008 and when Curry Corner first opened. Back then they were the best Indian restaurant around—flavorful, colorful dishes and great prices. And they won Best of the Northwest Awards! But now after over a decade they’ve definitely fallen off the mark quality and price. First of all, VERY expensive. Nearly doubled in last few years. I know this is the overall restaurant trend but they’re higher than most. As for our order we phoned it in like most do in area. Their dining area is like a cafeteria so no ambiance or desire to eat in. We got a samosa appetizer and the combo 2-meat curry plate. Since we don’t like raita (veggie yogurt) and rice pudding, we convinced them to give us extra naan and mango-pistachio ice cream as substitutions. For the two curries we got the chicken curry and butter chicken (see pics). Samosa was two huge pieces, almost two big to really enjoy but the crispiness and flavor profile were there particularly when you dip in their two sauces that come with it. Chicken curry was ok on spice-wise and flavor. The butter chicken was, however, greasy and lacking in spices. Not sure what spices but definitely not how I remember. Tandoori chicken was delicious and cooked perfectly. Jasmine rice and naan were just like they were from before, nice job! And finally the mango-pistachio ice cream was definitely worth the swap and highly recommend if you like those flavors. Very fresh, creamy and homemade. All in all, a decent Indian restaurant and I’d recommend it still but it’s a shadow of its past and I won’t likely go back for a while. I wonder if it switched hands. I know it’s a family run business and they have a relationship with the Curry house just down the street and been some strive. Whatever the case the quality is not what they once were. Hopefully they can work to bring it back to it’s former glory.

It’s not as great as it seems. The mango lassi’s color is not natural. It’s super yellow and I’m not sure if they used food coloring or something. The curry we ordered is buttery but super oily and flavorless. Would not go back again.

We are well versed in Indian cuisine and I’m not sure what’s going on here but the food had zero flavor. We paid nearly $20 per dish and couldn’t even finish it was so flavorless. Not very flavorful. I ordered the Butter Chicken because of the rave reviews. It was reddish-pink (red dye #40?) and ok, but a far cry from flavorful, authentic Indian butter chicken. Ordered the cauliflower for a veggie. It was half full of potato. Not bad tasting, not great either, but not the no-starch veggie side I wanted. No dine in option, take out only. Curry Corner is a small, family-owned Indian restaurant that has been serving the Olympia community for over 10 years. The food is produced, sold, and consumed by the local Indian population, so you can be sure that it is authentic cuisine. The menu features a wide variety of dishes, from classic curries to more unique specialties. I started with the vegetable samosas, which were crispy and flavorful. For my main course, I had the chicken tikka masala, which was cooked perfectly and served with a generous portion of basmati rice. I also tried the naan, which was perfectly cooked and had a nice chewiness to it. The service at Curry Corner was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they were happy to answer any questions I had about the menu. The prices are also very reasonable, making Curry Corner a great option for a delicious and affordable meal. Overall, I had a great experience at Curry Corner. The food was authentic and delicious, the service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Indian meal in Olympia. Here are some specific things that I liked about Curry Corner: The food was authentic and delicious. The flavors were complex and well-balanced, and the dishes were cooked to perfection. The service was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they were happy to answer any questions I had about the menu. The prices were reasonable. I got a lot of food for a very reasonable price. If you're looking for a great Indian meal in Olympia, I highly recommend Curry Corner. You won't be disappointed.

I have never tasted such flavourless Indian food. The appeal of indian food (for me) is usually the bold, rich, and full of spices flavour. But I have to say that that was altogether missing from our meals. It was cooked well. It just seemed entirely absent of any flavour. And that was true for both of our dishes. Which was surprising because my lamb vindaloo was the brightest red I've ever seen. It looked like like it was going to be full of spicy goodness. But it tasted like nothing. Literally nothing. Absent of any type of flavour whatsoever. The garlic naan was good though. Furthermore, nothing on the website indicated that they were take-out only. So we drove 45 minutes to a restaurant that we couldn't eat at, to get food that had the flavour profile of Wonder Bread... Maybe this is not normally the case though. It was our first time there.

I don’t live in the area, but would come here 2-3x/year. It was the high bar to which I would rate all other Indian food. This was my first visit post-pandemic and was so disappointed. It wasn’t bad, it was good Indian food, but was not great or mind blowing like it was historically. It lacked the depth and complexity that put it on a pedestal and differentiated it from strip mall food. I will try again my next trip, but if this is their new normal, I’d eat here, but not seek it out.

I was disappointed. The website says "dine in", I get there and find out, it is take out only. The prices are very high for take out, and when you pay with a cc they still have the tip line. I had the Tiki Masala. It was cubes of chicken in a very creamy Masala sauce. Nothing else mixed in, served in a pint size plastic container and a large piece of Naan for almost $18. And it was take out. If they are going to cut costs or for whatever reason continue with take out only, they should advertise it that way, and maybe adjust their prices accordingly. During Covid I was very understanding and appreciative of businesses that were able to adjust. I probably won't go back. While the Tiki Masala tasted ok, the seemingly deceptive advertising left a bad taste in my mouth.

It included Navrattan Korma, Pallak Paneer, Dal, Basmati Rice, Naan, Raita, and Rice Pudding. It was a lot of food, about 4 meals worth for me. Cool little place, but they need to go back to allowing dine-in and get rid of the Covid plexiglas. Don't get the tandoori shrimp -- it's terrible, the sauce is ketchup mixed with oil and sugar. The chicken tikki masala is obviously a crowd favorite and is fine. The garlic naan is great. I am of Chinese ancestry and did not know what the shrimp dishes were. I did not want a Chinese stir fry like shrimp over broccoli -- and when I asked, the white dude assumed that I WANTED stir fry. No, I wanted to get a dish where the vegetables were not prominent. It was kind of a racist moment, but when you look Chinese, you get used to assumptions. No biggie, but frustrating.

The food is mostly good, but even if I ask for spicy vendaloo (it's meant to be), it's still made very mild. Also, the lady on the phone and at the front desk didn't speak good English, so that created some difficulties in our transaction, like not being able to pay over the phone and getting my name wrong. It has great potential, but someone with good English to work at the front desk would help and making a vendaloo spicy like asked (and normal) would really help. Otherwise great sporting

We were fans of this place and always tried to plan our trip down south keeping this place as a must stop. Recently we did a take out (as this is the only option they had now), oh my god how horrible food was, where to start. They must have lost their chef during the pandemic, else no excuse from going 5* to down garbage. Shahi paneer felt like paneer thrown in Costco tomato soup. Tikka biryani was boiled basmati rice with dried chicken tikka.. literally that's it. Veg jalfrezi was more like veg sauce curry. Gulab jamun felt like the frozen one you get from an Indian store. Salad (we paid around $4 for it).. it was just chopped onions, nothing else. It is always funny to picture that Salad now. It was really that abysmal and me and my wife were shocked by this sudden downgrade. I really hope they could turn it around soon and get back to where they were. Else Panda Express seemed a far better option for everyone for the lunch day after.

This place is always really good, in fact it has been that way since they’ve opened. Friendly staff, friendly environment, can’t ask for anything more. Will continue to come here for years to come. And plus they got a whole bunch of awards too.
