So.. the food is good. I really liked it. They kinda scalp you on the naan bread because they charge per person. The girl who served me and my family tried to tell me where to put my bag because it "didn't look good" under the table. Maybe that's a cultural thing I'm not aware of but she pretty much acted like she'd rather be anywhere than serving us. Plus on doordash the prices are insane.

Food was okay, they were out of many dishes, server was rude for no reason. Even I had food poisoning after the food over there.

Had a really bad food experience here. Except the breads, none of the things we ordered were freshly prepared. Chicken was hard & chewy + Onions Pakoras barely had onion and lacked freshness or taste. They definitely don’t know how to make Onion pakoras. Food here is pretty expensive & definitely not worth your money.

A little gem near the Bozeman Airport. It is difficult to find good Indian restaurants - but this place hits all points. The food is fresh, tasty and the service is very nice. Unreservedly recommended if you are coming or going to Yellowstone from BZN.

I would have rated 4/5. Rating 2 just for the service. Food was good and tasty. But the 2 serving ladies were very bad. Right from the moment we entered they were like why you came. Communication was a big problem and they were not ready to listen to what we say. The owners should take care of this attitude else people won’t come back even if the food is good.

Reccomended by a chance encounter who seemed to know her Indian food. Decided to drive an hour to try this place out. The restaurant is authentic to what you'll find a good hole in the wall in the ol' country- Outstanding food+bad service. Reviews below regarding subpar service, not consistent with etiquette that would be considered to be minimum standard, are correct. The food is awesome, though their spice (read heat) level is way off. #3 is definitely closer to #4-5 than 3. Runny nose and mild reflux complimentary. Portion size is generous. Best to undershoot for spice and get take away to avoid/minimize the poor service. Thanks to the lady who made the recc. You DO know your Indian food. Liverpool would be proud.

Good Indian food restaurant located close to the Bozeman Airport. Can stop for lunch or dinner before traveling to the west entrance of the Yellowstone National Park.

A big reason I don't like them is because oftentimes the reviewer is referencing one single experience (we all know anyone can have a bad night). This is not based off one time. We have eaten at this curry express over 15 times in the past two years. Somehow the service has managed to get worse with every visit. Strange experiences such as - music so loud you have to ask the server to turn it down twice so you can talk to your table mates - No hello. No welcome in. No greeting. Just a number (2?3?4?) wondering how many guests are in the party - throwing menus across the table - constantly getting orders wrong - missing drinks - banging plates / utensils into the bus bins - always pressuring to pay and tip in cash - returning incorrect change (short) Hope someone figures out how to train this employee to provide better customer service. Also, they no longer offer goat. ...... Lunch and dinner menus. Lunch is limited, cheaper, and smaller in portion. Dinner has everything you would want and probably a bunch of things you never even knew about. Incredible murgh changezi. Lamb josh rogan and anything goat will help you appreciate all the great things about this unique cuisine. Classics like murgh makhni (butter chicken) and tikki masala are on point. Wine/beer available. We order the chili shrimp (pictured) and cheese garlic naan for apps every time. The samosas are a pass (dry/little flavor) and their tandoori chicken was also not the best. Suggest going for dinner.

Wait time sucks. Longer wait times. Around 1 hr and we still haven’t received the order. If you have kids don’t come here. Rather order first by phone and then come.

Chicken Tikka was disgusting, it was hard like rock.most probably it was old and served by just heating it again... Naan was also below standard... Chicken biryani was also not fresh though taste wise it was good.. will not recommend because u r not being served fresh food

Every meal I’ve had was always delicious. But this evening as of 5 minuets ago, the food is cold and stale. The naan has always been amazing but now? It’s so hard and not made fresh at all. I can’t believe we spent so much money on this dinner. I am disappointed.

Useless service,rude owners they don't know how to treat customers. They were taking order mid order decided they want to only do togo orders then they remebered they ran out of Naan.

I recently tried the curry food truck at Outlaw Brewing in Bozeman, Montana, and it was fantastic. The food smelled amazing, and I ended up getting the lamb masala plate and samosas. The lamb masala was excellent – tender lamb in a flavorful sauce with just the right amount of spice. The vegetable samosas were crispy and filled with a tasty potato and pea mix, and the chutneys were a great addition. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and you could tell they care about their food. If you're into curry or just want to try something new, definitely check out this food truck. Pairing their food with a beer from Outlaw Brewing made for a great experience. Five stars!

I enjoyed our takeout for sure. Fast service, good experience. The only problem was the portions were small for the price. I paid $13 and got 2 samosas for example. I know it’s near Bozeman but that’s a bit excessive.

This is a review for the FOOD TRUCK. We stopped by at Outlaw Brewing, where the food truck resides Fridays and Saturdays. The food is excellent, we had the paneer roll and an order of samosa chaat, it was spot on and the portions were very nice for the price. Beyond that, we also tried the sambar vada, which was a VERY pleasant surprise, our family loves South Indian food and this is to my knowledge the only place to get it in the 406 area code (and well beyond) - it was fresh and excellently flavored and I wish we'd brought home a whole container of the coconut chutney it came with. Thank you to the chefs!

This place is so good. The closest to authentic I’ve found in Montana. Don’t let the “express” or the small look of the outside deter you from this hidden Gem! Drove here on a referral for my birthday dinner and so happy we did. Portions were plenty and the server was excellent.

First and Foremost their Prices are "insanely high" I mean it's ridiculous. Quality of the food is average. These guys are really ripping customers on prices. For example, a Tandoori butter Naan/bread is $6.00 Mutton dish is $24.00 Most expensive butter Naan anywhere in the entire US US at the most $3.99 Any Lsmb Dish is no more than $17.99, I say this cause even I have 2 restaurants/indian. I just stopped by on the way back from Vacation. These prices are just "highway robbery" for unsuspecting customers !!!!! Sorry Belgrade, ya'll deserve better

First time trying Curry Express - we MOST DEFINITELY will be back!!! Food: Amazing! We've gone to the Indian restaurant in Bozeman several times...I might dare say this was better! Which that says a lot because the Indian place in Bozeman is also 5-stars! Customer Service: Great! Waiter was kind, respectful, and never left us without anything! Atmosphere: Restaurant was very clean. Lighting, music, decor were all perfect and - 5 stars. Great job Curry Express, your environment, food and customer service were phenomenal!

EDIT: I have emailed the manager back in December and haven't gotten any reply to this day. I am writing to express my dismay and concern over an incident that occurred on December 21st, 2023, at 5:37 PM. I attempted to enter your establishment with my service dog and was shockingly denied entry. Upon questioning the legality of this action, the staff member, who identified himself as the manager, acknowledged the illegality of his decision yet proceeded with a refusal, accompanied by a smile. This response was not only inappropriate but also deeply concerning, considering the role of a service dog in assisting individuals with disabilities. It is disheartening and unacceptable that in today’s world, where we strive for inclusivity and understanding, such incidents still occur. Denying access to someone with a service dog not only disregards legal obligations but also demonstrates a lack of empathy and respect for individuals facing challenges. Please be advised that I have filed a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice regarding this matter. It is imperative that such issues are addressed promptly to prevent future occurrences and to ensure that your establishment adheres to the legal and ethical standards required for service dog access. I await your response and the actions you will take to rectify this situation.

Best Indian food in Montana! A must stop every time we go through Bozeman. Wish it was closer to Missoula. And the staff is awesome! Quick, friendly and professional.

Great food and huge portions. We’ve been here twice, worth the drive from Helena. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. A new family favorite when we come to Bozeman. Plenty of leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

We have eaten there about 4 times, the food is delicious and the waiting time is reasonable. We used to go to the “other “ Indian restaurant, but we like this one so much better. Lately they hired a new waitress, not sure how to spell her name… Rana …. Anyways she is very nice and comes to check on us a few times, a very sweet young lady.

This was my first time coming to Curry Express and I am very impressed! Our waitress Booja was the best! She explained the menu to us and made sure we had everything needed. Our dinner was top notch as well. We will definitely be returning soon!

After dropping my daughter off at the airport I learned Belgrade had an Indian restaurant. I ordered Chicken curry and my wife had Butter chicken. We were each given a bowl with large chunks of chicken in the respective sauce for each dish, along with bowls of yellow rice. We also ordered two types of naan, garlic and bullet naan. Bullet naan is spicy. The naan was thin, crispy and had been put on a grill. I also ordered a mango lassi drink, a nice compliment to the rich spices of the main dishes. The service was very good. We will come back the next time we are in town.

When I was walking on the street I noticed a strange hunger inside of me. This was like no hunger I've ever experienced before. I just so happened to stumble upon this humble and delicious Indian spot. When I ordered my food the person on the phone was absolutely spot on with my order, and got my name correct without failure. Upon the arrival of my feast, the delivery person tried to kill me but I blew that scallywag away with the cannon I have loaded with grapeshot at the top of my stairs. When the time came for me to consume this delicious feast, I opened the box only to reveal a such beautiful course that it was almost impossible for me to eat without feeling sorrow. I put the chicken tikka masala into my mouth along with the fried rice I was so handsomely supplied with, and let me just say. It was the absolute 2nd best thing I've ever put into my mouth. (My 26 inch long "Toy" being the best.) But I would definitely recommend that you try this place at least once in your life. It disrupted my circadian rhythm it was so delicious. Please try this place. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

The best Indian food in Montana. Pictures are of my dish the Korma Curry with scallops. The shellfish was delicately cooked and rich in flavor. My partner had butter chicken, which was sophisticated in its layers of flavor. Tomato at first, followed by sweet, then slightly spicy. An experience in every bite. This restaurant never disappoints.

They have no idea about customer service, i try to dine in 2 times here, both super disappointed, once waited 20 mins for someone to take order, there was kid handing menus to customers, second one i arrived at 2:10 pm, they close at 2:30 pm, refused to serve, change your store hours or act normal to customers! I live and work in the community , i m gonna tell this to everyone. If your signs say open, you cant refuse to serve. Terrible place.

We ordered Baingan Bartha ( a dish made of egg plant). It was amazing. The garlic naan was cooked to perfection. Authentic indian food in a place like Bozeman area was delightful. Strongly recommend.

The person at front desk with zero customer service ability ,he didn’t reply to my hello just handed my order with out saying any word out of his mouth , was kinda rude or not in the mood to work . Food was kinda 6 out of 10. Over price too.

The food is amazing! A variety of dishes were ordered as always. All of which, were excellent. The lamb saag , chicken, paneer, pakora, and naan were perfectly cooked. Every curry, there was 3 ordered, was well balanced in spice and flavor. The onion pakora had a really nice crunch. The chai was served without sugar, allowing one to add if needed. This is always a go to place when I'm in Belgrade. Thank you chefs for the wonderful food :^)

When you enter the restaurant your senses immediately tell you are somewhere else. The fragrant spices and colorful interior wet your appetite for the meal to come. We ordered a variety of dishes. Baigan Bharta, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Vindaloo, Tadka Daal, garlic naan and Palak Paneer. These were very flavorful and spiced for flavor...I would have enjoyed a more traditional heat but this area did not seem to have a lot of spicy heat aficionados. They only had one waiter so the service is a tad slow but the food is worth it! I love Indian food and have eaten it around the globe. This place is good and you need to experience it.

You could travel the world and you'd still get the best Indian meal in Belgrade Montana. My favorite meal is the butter chicken and my favorite dessert is the kheer. It's always incredible and you'll be glad you went!

This restaurant closes at 9pm. We arrived at 820 and were told they were not serving “for here” but we could order “to go”. We ordered samosa and lamb Rogan josh. We eat a lot of Indian, so we are very familiar with good Indian…. And bad. The samosa was good…. Greasier than most, but the taste was good (3/5 stars). The mint chutney was very good…. Tangier than most in a pleasant way (4/5 stars). But the lamb Rohan josh… that was a 1/5 stars. Each order had approximately 7 pieces of lamb swimming in grease. I’m not sure if the pictures do it justice, but the grease was easily 3/4 inch deep. We tried to soak up some of the grease with paper towels to eat sauce with the rice, but it was futile… there was more grease than sauce. We just picked the meat out. As I mentioned, we eat a lot of Indian and I have never seen so much grease in an entree. The taste was plain, not memorable other than the grease. We have eaten at the other Indian restaurant in Bozeman (same owner if I recall) and that one is definitely better. This was our first time at this location, and unfortunately the last.

Food is great, I would have given 4 or 5 star if they had consistency, you get different taste, color for the same food you order 2nd time. Service is pathetic very rude behavior.

Wow, I made it into the latest location on West Madison finally and everything was excellent. I liked them at the old location when it was only a lunch counter, but I feel everything went up a notch. We tried several Chef Specialties and all of them were delicious.

Food was decent, Service could be better. Didn't feel welcome. Got cold, one word "no"responses when we enquired if chai or certain menu items were available. Odd that there's no chai at an Indian restaurant.

Best place to start your trip to Yellowstone. First thing first… Eat well. And this indian restaurant offer you delicious food that will make you happy. Every thing we order was tasty. Also try bullet naan if you like spicy.. 😊

Naan and paneer tika masala was very good. Ordered a gobi 65 and it turned out to be disastrous one. The server took it back and brought the same gobi 65 with two of the pieces refried again. Finally cancelled the gobi 65. Humble suggestion will be to serve items which you can make properly. Don’t serve something bad and get bad reviews. Please think about it and serve good Indian food. Thanks.

Great Indian food. They have bunch of vegan options as well. Pretty good selection, taste, quantity and service. Staff was super nice and welcoming. They have interesting rice with every dish. The only thing they can fix is option of chapati/roti and naans are more processed and heavy. Loved all the dishes. Will visit again.
