Sarah made a cake and cookies for my daughter’s second birthday party and oh my gosh, did she deliver! Even though I basically asked her to recreate some items I’d seen on her Instagram feed instead of going totally custom, I got the sense that I could have asked for something completely original and she’d be able to make it happen! She is such a talented baker and decorator! The cake (chocolate with strawberry filling and vanilla buttercream frosting) was one of the most delicious I’ve ever had and everybody said they loved it. Reviews from guests on the taste of the cookies were mixed (though by all accounts they were freaking adorable); my wife thinks maybe it was something specifically about the ones with black frosting. I think they were all delicious. But everybody has their own taste, you know? As a former wedding planner in the twin cities, I have loyalties to a small handful of cottage food bakers, but I may just be putting some of those loyalties aside to come back for more Custom Sweets by Sarah for my future personal occasions!

Sarah made us such a beautiful cake for our wedding this past weekend! It was probably my favorite detail from the entire day! She gave us exactly what we were looking for and was extremely wonderful to work with! We will be using her for all of our baking needs in the future!

The cupcakes were amazing and she did this last minute order for me with such great customer service! Our family will definently be using her again!!!

Sarah is amazing! NOTE: The cracked cookie in the photo is from me carrying it in my purse. All of them arrived in pristine condition! Sarah is quick to respond, professional and does a fantastic job! We ordered cookies for a company event and had a few hiccups that we inflicted upon her. She took them with grace and the outcome was fantastic. You won't be disappointed.

Sarah made my dream of a tiered cinnamon roll "cake" come to life and OH MY GOSH, was it delicious and beautiful!!! Sarah also custom-made adorable Star Wars-themed cookies for our grooms' dinner and they were a huge hit!!

Sarah has created beautifully designed and absolutely delicious goodies for three different events for me over the past year (a baby shower, first birthday and and a 75th birthday). Her custom cookies were amazing and a huge hit, her carrot cake was gorgeous and loved by all, but my favorite was the layered almond raspberry cake for my daughters first birthday. All so wonderful! As an added bonus, Sarah is a delight to work with - quick to reply, kind, flexible, patient and always meets me with a big smile at pick up. Would most definitely recommend Sarah for any celebration!

Sarah bent over backwards the day of my wedding to accommodate us picking up the desserts at a certain time. We ordered a mix of cupcakes and mini bundt cakes and received so many compliments from our guests on how great they tasted. There was not a single crumb left over at the end of the night. The cutting cake was beautifully executed. Unfortunately, the cutting cake is so delicious I have been eating the leftovers for breakfast 😂.

Sarah was able to turn around a very large order for a new product launch event for our company. Each of the 10 dozen cookies was beautifully decorated, individually wrapped, and tasted great! I work at PetSuites and we got cookies for a special event we hosted today. They turned out so cute and the flavor was so good! I’ve had custom made cookies in the past from other companies and they were meh. These cookies tasted amazing while still looking very good. I had 5 in one night. Everybody was super impressed. 10/10 would recommend! :)

SO impressed!!! I ordered 8 dozen custom cookies for a large work event and Sarah was so easy to work with. The cookies turned out AMAZING! Better than what I was picturing. And they taste amazing! I was expecting the typical hard basic sugar cookies, but these were soft and delicious. I ate way too many and our guests loved them. Will order for all future occasions!

Custom Sweets by Sarah made the most amazing graduation cookies for my son’s grad party. These cookies were such a hit. And everyone who had one said not only were the cookies beautiful, they tasted great too. So many people said that’s not often the case with beautifully decorated cookies, but Sarah’s were incredibly tasty. Thank you again Sarah for doing such an amazing job. The hand drawn Carthage Firebird logo was probably my favorite. I will use you again in the future for sure!

Sarah was absolutely amazing! We searched everywhere looking for someone who could bake us a soy free, gluten free, and vegan wedding cake. We found Sarah online and she immediately said she can do all of those things no problem! Everyone at our wedding thought that the cake was delicious. I found Sarah searching for someone on Google that could make a cake look like my husband beloved German shepherd. Contacted her with my vision via email, and we got the ball rolling. She’s incredibly sweet, she’s very professional and oh my goodness was that cake AMAZING. Hands down -the-best super chocolate cake I’ve ever had. My MIL who is a baker was even blown away. Absolutely love the cake you did a good job on the Archie squishmallow it was so cute it was too cute to cut it but I had to😊😊😊. I bought the butterfly stickers and stuffed to fix behind them. The cake was delicious it was perfect❤️❤️

Sarah was absolutely amazing to work with!! My Husband and I got married this past October and she really helped bring our dessert vision to life! The cake she decorated was absolutely gorgeous and the cake itself tasted so wonderful!! We also had cookies and those were melt in your mouth delicious! Can't recommend Sarah's work enough! She made the perfect birthday cake for my daughter -- she has incredible attention to detail and quality and it's clear she puts a lot of care into baking well and listening to her customers. And the cake was beyond delicious! We got a vanilla cake with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream and I can highly recommend that combo. I asked Sarah to do a custom birthday cake and cookies for my daughter’s 5th bday and Sarah did an absolutely great job on the cake and cookies. The cake was just perfectly moist with the right kind of fillings. It was beyond our expectations! She also responded to my inquiries promptly and answered all my questions. I will definitely order more cakes/ cookies from Sarah.

I called Sarah to see about making an order for gluten free cupcakes. She was exceptionally helpful and friendly. After finding out what I wanted them for she offered me some she already had on hand. She customized the frosting specially for me to make certain I wouldn’t be allergic to any of the ingredients. Her care in making sure things were safe was excellent and gave me a lot of confidence in her work. The cupcakes were perfect. I had no allergic reaction and they tasted amazing. I would wholeheartedly recommend her work to anyone.

Sarah is a great person and will work with you to get what you want at a good price. However, it was okay. Maybe the flavors I chose were it but it’s not like wow it’s the best thing but yeah she’s great and will go the extra mile to make it great

Sarah is BEYOND talented! Not only do her cookies look amazing but they taste even better! She responded so quickly to my initial inquiry (less than 24 hours) and continued to throughout the whole process. I ordered cookies for my sister in laws gender reveal party and she individually wrapped them to make it safe for COVID. Everyone loved them so much I’m ordering them again for the virtual baby shower to send to the guests! She made my Pinterest board ideas come to life. I can’t recommend her enough. Thanks Sarah!

I was set on having Finn cakes made for my husband's birthday because we both share a love for the show Adventure Time and it was always a question of ours what they would taste like so I decided to have them custom made. So I decided to go with Custom Sweets by Sarah since they had such good reviews. Communication was great, she was always responding to emails and messages within the day they were sent and made sure that all the details I wanted were met. I went to go pick them up and oh boy, not only were they abso-fu#$ing-lutely delicious but they were so genius, I had worried about how she was going to make the top of the cupcake steady but she managed to do it by filling it with a rice crispy treat! That wasn't even part of the order but was a very VERY pleasant surprise, and the prices??? Extremely reasonable, worth every penny. I can't wait for the next birthday in our family so we can order from her again ( or maybe I won't even wait til the birthday...ha!)

I contacted Sarah after having her cookies at a graduation party. I had Sarah make cookies for a bridal shower and they were a hit, not only do they look beautiful but they taste amazing as well. Everyone raved about the cookies to the point they were suggested for our family Christmas party in December. Definitely repeat customers for life.

Working with Sarah was so easy, for a very non traditional order. We needed tiki totems for a baby shower and she took special care to go above and beyond in here creativity and delivery. Each tiki was delightfully unique, and she even thought to ask party colors, in order to match our tikis to the decor. The taste was incredible, still soft with the perfect amount of sweet vanilla.
