I used tork at the D&,,D restaurant when George owned it. A great place, good food and wonderfulorord. I miss it so !??

The French dip is the one thing I look forward to about naknek and the breakfasts are good good food friendly environment

A fine place to have a beer, a half of Greek salad w / extra cheese and olives, and a pizza. Service is a priority. Clean and friendly. Reliable.

Good pizza in a rustic old hotel that has been closed. Right in the heart of Naknek.

Things have really changed in the last couple of years since new owners. Not as good of food or service, but still a comfortable place to sit down and eat a good meal.

I think the pizza is better now.

I ordered philly cheese steak sandwich witg fries. It was not what i expected, however it was very good! I could only eat half due to the size. The service was excellent! She was by herself so she was a little busy ! I will go back if possible.

Warning… the D&D Philly Cheese Steak is an actual steak in a sandwich, not shredded steak like a conventional Philly Cheese Steak.

Very friendly service and both the double cheeseburger on my first basic, and the various varieties of pizza for a 10+ party of folks on my second visit were delicious. Thanks!

For a little place parked in an almost impossible location they have the best pizza and the wait staff is so on top of things we never had to wait for anything

I ate here back in 1991 while stationed at The King. Pizza was spectacular! I remember they really loaded it up.

Had to give it a try, id recommend they get bigger cups, y'all like my crazy aunt trying to give me a four ounce bottle of ice with a little sweet tea in the bottom... We thirrrrstyyy

Food is good but the place is very dirty

This place has amazing food. It's really worth the wait. I'm giving it two stars because they kick me and my friends out because the staff was racist against African Americans

Use to be a good place to eat, with the new owner and management it's a terrible place! I wouldn't recommend eating here to anyone. The customer service is terrible, the waitresses are always rushing and have horrible attitudes. If the business is booming you'd think they'd hire more people to help work. This one waitress carries a baby around with her, how unprofessional is that. The food on the other hand is always a hit or miss. Usually not very good tasting. The pizza is alright, not like how it use to be. They charge extra money now for large parties, and to rent their backroom with a cleaning fee if you don't clean! That's what they work for and that's what you pay for to have the back room rented! Ridiculous. They are so money hungry because they've lost so much business they'll charge up the rear for almost anything. I'm sorry but this restaurant sucks. A bar pizza is probably better than this. The Red Dog down the road has better food, check out the Galley on leader creek too, and Sockeye Saloon or Eddies in King Salmon, but definitely not D&D Restaurant.

The cafe at the D & D is a long standing establishment in the town of Naknek on the shores of Bristol Bay, and offers good food that’s served by polite and friendly staff in large portions ... Travelers during the late fall-winter seasons can get a meal here (very nice, as there’s not many dining options in the area during these months) :). The salads are made with lots of fresh veggies — something that’s really appreciated in this remote part of the Great North!

The pizza was ok but the customer service was not. Very rude and extremely slow. Expensive but not many options in Naknek anyway!

Awesome pizza, sandwiches, steaks

The best pizza in nakak, but not better than dominos. They are severely limited by having low to no fresh options. And this place is usually packed at the beginning and end of the fishing season.

I do enjoy pizza very much, so it means much to me when I rate this as the 2nd best pizza place and pizza I have eaten ---- ever. Yes as reviewed by others, it is weathered and rustic. The other item it is, is ---- busy, as the town of Naknek swells with workers from June until August. We had pizza twice, once on the day we arrived and the day we left. Both were very good, great crust, flavorful toppings, much melted cheese.

Philly Cheese Steak sandwich is highly recommended.

The steak sandwich is the best, very tender and filling. I've also had the pizza here and it is also good. The pizza had too much crust for my preference but it did have plenty of toppings and a good flavor. This place is not inexpensive but neither is anywhere else here. At least here you get better value for what you pay. This place is old but kept pretty clean compared to others in the area.

D&D restaurant has great tasting pizzas. they have some good choices to pick from like the meat lovers, chefs special, Hawaiian, but even though I would not choose pizza as my first choice when going out for a meal. They do have some pizzas that i do enjoy because of the fact that they don't have tomatoe sauce instead these next two pizzas they offer come with a white sauce and I enjoyed one today and that was there chicken ranch pizza. They also offer a Chicken Ceaser pizza.

As with everywhere in Naknek this place was a bit odd and interesting. The service was fun - they come and sit down with you to take your order which makes you feel at home. I ordered a "Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich" which was about as far from a Philly cheese steak as I have ever had. My first clue was when the waitress asked how I wanted the steak done. What it turned out to be was a piece of steak with cheese on a bun. It was actually pretty good, but definitely not a Philly Cheese Steak. My brother had a french dip and surprise it was actually quite a good french dip. We went back another night and had their pizza. I was a bit less enamored with this. The crust was OK and the toppings were plentiful, but the cheese they use was off - it was a very bland white cheese, and although it did not taste bad, conversely it did not taste good either. I would go back, but avoid the pizza (but hey if you are in Naknek this may be the only choice for pizza).

We ate here a few times while in the area for a week. The pizza is a lot more expensive than in the lower 48, but it was great. It was buried in cheese. The folks waiting on you did a good job, and made sure your glass was always full. This is a definite go to place for food while in the Naknek area.

Decent place, good service, gets busy during the salmon season. Some good eating options but I need to caution on the pizza. I order the pizza about once a year and every time I'm surprised and amazed at simply the sheer weight of the pie. Each slice is a meal in itself. This pizza is beyond fully loaded, overloaded is more the case. Pick up a slice and if not careful the mass of toppings will slide off and plop down in a greasy pile. The crust is too thick and very "bready". Their Greek salad is awesome.

This remote Alaska bush community is lucky to have a restaurant like the D & D year round. The food is excellent and the service is always great! Best pizza that I have ever had!

Glad D&D's is open year-round with awesome pizza's, huge fresh salads, and plenty of brews on tap. Keep in mind that everything not caught here is flown in so you'll get a bit of sticker shock from the menu but once the food arrives you'll appreciate the hot & fresh (and massive quantities) of local favorites. Hands down the best pizza in all of King Salmon or Naknek. If you're short on time, order a pizza to go and take it on your fishing trip !

I was pleasantly surprised how big the meals were, unfortunately I had 3 meals here in 2 days and though they were all good, there was not a lot of choice other than a lot of carbs :) The shrimp salad I chose for lunch one day was actually very good! Though you may thing prices are high they are big portions and it is rural Alaska

Favorites: the Greek salad, burgers, and pizza. Great specials! Decent lodging upstairs also. Parking is an issue during season. Nothing is pre-made or frozen ahead so it will take a bit of time to get your food.

D & D offers a good variety of pizzas, calzones & saldas. Take in mind that there are not many options in rural Alaska, but this place is pretty decent. Portions are huge and prices are acceptable. Parking is available and locals seems to like it a lot. If you are in Naknek or even in King Salmon this is a nice place to visit.

This place is a gem. Really, really tasty food—from the Greek salad to the prime rib special we had one night. Not a bad place to stay either (the hotel upstairs). Like many restaurants in rural Alaska the portions are huge so be prepared—three of...

Pretty good food and fair service. Best bet in Naknek for a meal. Well known locally for their pizza's and Greek salad. My favorite is their steak sandwich.....

I would love to see more zip and creativity to the pizza choices. Some more interesting veggies, herbs and spices, and sauces would improve my experience!
