My favorite thing here most of all is the mistake bags especially when u don't have much and there's this mistake which isn't really a mistake it's more of a heavenly treat after either a long day but even more so when you need a refreshing treat

the walk up window is constantly closed early, to focus on the drive thru. I like to enjoy a nice blizzard after my nightly walk, store hours don't show different close times for window and drive thru if they did I would understand but walking half hour out of the way to enjoy a blizzard and see that they are closed is not right.

Banana 🍌 Splits are really good 💯.

Delicious Dairy Queen ice cream always as expected. The drive through is like a go-cart track though. Fun for some, I'd imagine scary and many wheels have kissed the curbs. Service is always sweet.

Ordered in the drive thru and the line moved fast!

They were rude! Drive thru only after 9:00pm but open till 10:00 on all advertising... Sign says "ring bell for service" and so I did and the girl yelled at me that only the drive thru is open after 9:00...

Our blizzards we got were delicious! However barely any sauces were used in them such as caramel/fudge that are supposed to come with them, but still super yummy! The person that was working there couldn’t hear us however… was she far off in a land of imagination? Was she listening to Beyoncé new album? ( listen to TTPD instead.. unless you’re into chaotic country) Was she thinking of a traumatic experience that happened when she was a kid such as running into a tree with her bike? Well.. I’m not quite sure but she couldn’t hear us or any other customers- she also had a smudge of rude tude happening.

Quick responce at speaker line moved quickly food was ready and off we went. Great.

Excellent service and ice cream. This is the best Dairy Queen. In all of the southern maine. I would highly recommend it.

I hadn't been to Dairy Queen in some time but my daughter was craving it and I'm so glad we went. The people were super friendly and quick. The blizzards were so good. perfectly mixed and even tho it was a cold night and the workers must have been freezing, they still served us with a smile and kindness

The only thing l like is chocolate "ice cream"* & only once in a blue moon, but what does "TREAT" mean, exactly?

Recently ordered my daughters tenth birthday cake from DQ, as I do every year. And they did not disappoint. I left the colors up to them I just selected the picture that she wanted on it. They blew us away with how amazing it came out. Very reasonable price and an outstanding product, thank you Jimmy and company!

Always a nice place to get ice cream on a hot day. Reasonable prices, fast service, friendly staff, and a nice selection of different kinds of ice cream. They also have hot food if you feel like going that route. Also Reasonable prices I've never had a bad experience here. Completely Recommend!

Staff was extremely nice :) I recommend their banana split and their choco strawberry blizzard!

It's Dairy Queen!! These kids work hard at what they do, they do it well and with a smile on their face. The app isn't bad, they have had my order ready every time! Tipping is a great idea, they deserve it!

The help was very polite and got us our ice cream very quickly. I'm not always easy to understand because of my Strokes and they were very good and making sure I got what I wanted. Thank you for being so considerate. I will definitely be back as it brought back many childhood memories.

My experience I think they have the best ice cream. Sometimes you have to be patient they need to hire more help on the busy days the employees they have a respectful good workers

Slow service. A Blizzard should be tested by the employees first. "Hold it upside down. " Mine tasted fine, but was melted when I got it.

I love dairy queen as a desert place after eating dinner at home. It's nice to get out of the house after dinner and go for a drive to dairy queen. It's become a ritual.

I get banana splits there and the hot dogs with chili and cheese I ask to add onion and they do , Man ! Oh man you talk about void food

I was very impressed with how friendly and accommodating Gabe was when taking my order. I had a few questions that he was happy to answer and he even got me an item that was not on the listed menu. I work in customer service and I really appreciate the kindness and patience when I am on the customer end. Young people get a lot of bad reviews about their customer service so I especially want to recognize this young employee for a great job!

A childhood favorite. Now I get to share it with my kiddo. The only thing for me here is a peanut buster parfait, but the blizzards are the apple of my family's eye.

You know I've been giving out five stars for these past few restaurants and this one dairy Queen the one in Sanford is just beyond exceptional you can't see into the kitchen but the guys at the window are very courteous and except for when it's the young kids I went in one time and I it was a disaster but hey I still go back because it's not always that way I always get the food usually the way I order it and it's always good the same taste that I'm looking for and the place is clean as far as I can see into the place always look over on the floors and around the cash registers and everywhere to look for you so this place is awesome I would highly highly highly recommend the q over top of all the restaurants that are surrounding it it is three

We stayed outside to have our treat - they had one window open but moved pretty fast. The drive through didn't seem like it was open.

Ahh.lackluster.Not the dairy queen I remember

In Sanford twice within a few days, I stopped at Dairy Queen for an afternoon snack both days. On each visit, I got a kiddie cone with chocolate soft serve dipped in chocolate. The cost with tax was $2.37 each time. On the first visit, a gentleman waited on me and gave me a serving that was about 3.5” over the top of the cone. On the second visit, a young gal waited on me and gave me a serving that was only about 2.5 over the top of the cone. It was quite puny-looking. Then, she disappeared out back. The first serving was satisfactory; the second wasn’t. The two visits averaged out to a rating of barely a 3.0. Up until now, this was my favorite Dairy Queen. After this visit, I don’t know. This place is a little different from its competition. The usual fare but cheese curds and other unusual goodies at good prices and quality.

It was okay. If you like soft serve, with not much flavor. I prefer hard serve, with real flavor. DQ, will do in a pinch. Just my opinion.

Never had a bad experience, In the 17 yrs I have lived in Sanford. Always sunny (everyone always has a smile on their faces)and of course the icecream always perfect.

This is a seasonal favorite. The service is superior and the cleanliness is unsurpassable. You always get exactly what you would expect and for Sanford it is a very nice reliable establishment.

My youngest and I stopped in theought eh drive thru this afternoon to get an ocean cold treat for him and his dad. They were fast, courteous and attentive. The treats were prepared exactly as ordered and packaged up nicely to go.

If you don’t mind getting ignored, and your food is lousy then go here. Got a fish sandwich that I swear had been frozen, then microwaved and just squashed into the bun. I threw most of it away and just left.

Wherever you go Dairy Queen ice cream is a pleasure to eat. I love their milk shakes and my adopted kids, friends and foster kids always enjoy their blizzards.

The location isn't the most inspiring if you enjoy your treat at the location. However, the milkshakes are excellent!

Even with the great local ice cream places we have in town, Dairy Queen is the place to go if you crave that soft serve.

Go here mostly when not busy. They have added a drive thru recently which cuts out long waits at window but like all drive thru's they can also screw up people who use the order window.

I lie dairy queen but they ruined my trip last time as they ran out of brownies so couldn't get featured sundae really upset my sister in law.

This is your typical DQ. There is picnic tables outside to sit on but this isn't an eat in facility. They have all of the ice cream options but besides that that only have hot dogs and chili dogs. No burgers.

I practically grew up here. My Great Aunt lived around the corner and many summer nights were spent walking over to the Dairy Queen for an Ice Cream Cone after dinner. While I can't comment on the food beyond Ice Cream (I don't recall ever eating it), it if resembles the standard fare offered at other franchise locations -- I'd be willing to order it. A little bit of nostalgia and a great chance for a family to bond over summertime treats. What more can you ask for?

Dairy Queen has become famous for taking soft serve ice cream mixing it with toppings and calling it a blizzard and it is very good for the kids who love it.
