I'm not a beef lover and it took some convincing for me to agree to come but by the end of the meal i certainly was glad I came. Service was outstanding we got our meals timely and with a smile, even though there was one issue it was resolved quickly. Viewing my meat being cooked over an open pit made me think no way is he going to get the cook right oh but he did! Cooked to perfection! The only thing I didn't like was one bowl with all the butter and things for the very small potato, didn't take away from an outstanding piece of meat! Bravo!!

The steak was fantastic!!!! Cooked perfectly. Service was a little slow. The place was a little loud.

This is a place where it costs $30+/meal ( I had the filet so mine cost $44) but it's a bit grimy, and everyone is wearing flip-flops and cutoffs! It took and hour and ten minutes for our food to come out and it was the tiniest piece of steak and a baked potato about the same size! The value of what we paid compared to what we got did not line up! The staff is pleasant and attentive! I just wasn't impressed with anything else! I spent $118 and barely got full!

Love,love,love this place! Have gone there for 20 years every time I'm in Tucson. Usually 4 times a year. Good people, nice selection, incredible BBQ and fair prices. Stop in - you'll be back!

I feel the place is not holding up to their standards the price are hiring but the food quality is not quite as good and the servers were kind of slow but the guy filling our drinks did a good job

A bit warm but everything else was great.

Really good food, pork and chicken, will try a different cut of meat next time. Nothing special about the potato or beans. Will be back.

We had a wonderful dinner....however $50 per person is getting a bit pricey to take the family for dinner...everything tastes good and our waitresses was great.

This is definitely a hole in the wall spot, but if you want great steak and chicken it's a great place to go. The food is cooked outdoors on a very large BBQ, and you can watch the BBQ from the tables which is nice. The food overall is delicious, the wait staff was really helpful. The place has a dive bar asthetic. Overall would recommend.

Great BBQ had it twice on our weeks holiday, meat juicy , tender and flavorful. Baked potatoes and dessert if you have room. Awsome BBQ sauce with a kick.Staff very friendly and accommodating.

The steak was good. The ribs could use some work. They were dry. People were wonderful though.

The food was AMAZING flavor wise, but the portions are rather small for the expensive price take. They don't allow for many options or substations, making it hard for those who have dietary restrictions or allergies. The service was mediocre, it wasn't a busy night, and the staff was rather standoffish. They weren't on top of refills either, to me if your paying for an expensive meal and a drink you should at least be given and offered refills. Tried out the place, would not come back.

Our family has loved this place for 20 years. Plastic plate. Delicious smoke on the perfectly cooked meat. Down to earth.

I use to eat at the Sierra vista location and had no idea it was from Tucson. Waited over 21 years to come back. Still the beast steak I have ever had!!

I have loved this place since I was a kid. And I make it a point to return when I can. The ribs are phenomenal - the baked potato is a meal in itself.

Ended up here due to a local recommendation. Was quite surprised when we arrived Thursday for dinner and there were many tables available, no wait at all! The atmosphere was surprising as well, quite an old building with very basic, old tables and chairs. Definitely felt an old, saloon vibe inside. The outdoor area is a nice bonus and seems dog friendly. The food was excellent! We ordered a variety of foods including ribeye, ribs and wings. All of the meat was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. The ribeye was juicy and melted in your mouth. Ribs fell right off the bone and we loved the sweet/spicy bbq served with the ribs. Service should've been much quicker with how few tables there were though. When we finished eating, we sat and waited with no sign of our server for over 15 minutes. All the while, the hostess was facing us just two tables away sitting on her phone, not once noticing our stacked plates and getting the waitstaff to assist. In fact, the bartender was in eye sight and another server walked by many times with no acknowledgement. Teamwork is lacking for customer service.

Everything is always excellent here but also, the house margaritas are amazing.

They are the best steakhouse in Tucson. I've tried every steakhouse in this city and by far their food is consistently the best. I've had better meals at other steak houses, but upon returning there they haven't been the same quality. If you don't want to wonder if it will be good, go here. The atmosphere leaves something to be desired in the bar area, but in the rear it's nice enough. Coupled with the food, it's always worth it.

We had a fantastic dinner. Wife and I split the ribs and chicken dinner and still took home leftovers. Great food at a really good price. Not fancy.

This place was absolutely fantastic. Food was amazing!

Service was great. My porterhouse, and my friend's T-bone were cooked medium rare, great!! Problem was, we couldn't cut the meat with the knife. I live way Eastside, so I don't get out west that much. The last time, I dined at Daisy's, it was the best meal I have had in 35 years, so you can imagine my disappointment that I could not cut my steak this time. I will try it one more time.

Had what was the toughest, gristled, ribeye steaks that I've dined on in the last 10 years----salad & potato were quite good, the steak disappointingly.

Needs more drink choices. Sweet tea, needs more options. Split plate charge is 6$ Need wagyu steaks, not plain. Buffalo wings, need dry wings. Overpriced for everything.

Wonderful restaurant. Its specialized menu insures the best steak, ribs or catch of the day [mine was salmon]. Sumptuous!

Food here is outstanding. I had the salmon, and my uncle, and 2 cousins all had steaks. I would've had one as well ,but I had taken one out to cook at home that night. Put it away and went with my cousins instead. The waitstaff was very attentive of dietary needs and allergies. They made sure the onion was left out of my salad and took care of all of us. The only thing I can say bad is that the walls are a federal government crime spree, with every one of those dollar bills being 10 years in jail and a $10,000.00 fine according to the U.S. Treasury Dept. OWNERS BEWARE.

Eating a rare 18oz tbone while writing this. Holy moly I've never had a steak this good. For this first time in my life I don't want to swallow!

Look, don’t come here expecting the typical, overpriced and fancy steakhouse. This is a bare bones restaurant with one of the best steaks I’ve had in my life! They do one thing, and they do it really, really well. Highly recommend, it’s amazing!

The prices are steep. The service we received was extremely slow, but our server was friendly. The food wasn't worth the cost.

It was very loud , service was okay. They don’t have a drink menu… the food took forever but I am giving it four stars since the food was delicious . I would go back only cause of the food flavor.

I Enjoyed the atmosphere and decor of the restaurant, but service was absolutely horrendous no engagement with the servers at all. Host sat us down didn't get our drink order or order in general we sat for 15 mins and waited and decided to leave will not returning.

Food was great. Took our son here for his birthday. He and I had the ribeye steak, and it was great. Get there early or make reservations on the weekend because it gets busy.

The staff were very friendly and fast. Fodd was excellent, could do better with the salad but that wasn't why we were there. One of the best ribeyes I have ever had!!

I reserved a table for 12 for my dad's 81st birthday and they were extremely accommodating. Desiree was our server and she was attentive and friendly. All of our orders were correct and she even split our tickets correctly. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was welcoming. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

Delicious fall off the bone ribs!

BEST BBQ I'VE EVER HAD! Our server, Desiree was delightful. My husband and our friend Mike started raving about the baby back ribs right away. Cindy and I had the fillet. I ordered my usual rare, Cindy ordered medium rare. The steaks were so perfect, I wanted to tell the chef. Desiree pointed out the window to a guy at the BBQ. Cindy and I went right outside and told him we were very impressed with his BBQ skills. He told us his name was Wyatt and how he had used high heat to cook the steaks. The hostess, Sarah was also very welcoming and very friendly. I don't usually leave reviews, but this BBQ was exceptional.

Come to Kansas - we can serve you folks a steak or burger or ribs …

The BBQ ribs were the best, and so were the tenderloins. Desiree was our server, Sara our hostess, and Wyatt cooked those delicious mesquite ribs!

For the price the service was at best disappointing. Food was OK but, by 6:00 they had already run out of ribs. Overall we were disappointed and won't be back

Incredible food in a dive bar setting. My bf said this was probably the best restaurant he's ever been to. Everything was cooked to perfection. I had a 10oz ribeye and he had the meat lovers with half rack of ribs, five wings, and an 8oz ribeye. We only needed to order one plate, the portions were huge, but we wanted leftovers and there were plenty. Great salad, great potato, the best meat. We went on a slow night, so parking was easy and the food came quickly. We will be returning before we leave!

Classic steakhouse and cool vibe. Reminds me of the steakhouses I went to as a kid on the east coast. The food was cooked perfectly. Nothing was dry, overcooked, bland etc. Props to the chef and his team and the service was great as well. We'll be back again.

Over priced under seasoned 14oz Ribeye steak. Ribs are pull from the bone, but very dry. Wait staff rarely came by I had to walk to the bar to get water. Seems like there is more staff then needed. There were a lot of hands standing and talking but not waiting or walking tables. I'll give credit where credit is due, the chicken wings are good, by far the best thing I ate all night, in addition beans are good as well. And my family enjoyed the Texas toast. Ordered meat lovers plater and split between two ppl for 6 dlls charge and 14 oz ribeye with wings ordered , three ppl in total fed for a total of $135 not including tip. Prices are a bit steep for what they offer.

Our waitress was Calista and she was super and professional.. We had not been there in several years but it just gets better. The steaks were prepared perfectly. The ribs fell off the bone. Every moment was fun and delicious.

The food, the atmosphere, and the servers are top notch. While the food is a bit pricey, it is worth the experience. Both Bree and Mariah were incredible servers who provided a happy and fulfilling dining experience.

Daisy Mays is a great place. Down home environment and excellent food and service but a little on the pricey side.

We had a party of 10, Birthday. Majority had steak, in their words... Melted in the mouth. A couple had rack of ribs, very good. Another had double serving of wings(appetizer) very tasty. I, myself had the blackened salmon OMG! SO YUMMY! Every plate came w/baked potato and all the fixings. So much bread, and the beans! Very delicious. Birthday girl received a free dessert which we all shared. Decadent. Service was on task, friendly and accommodating. Didn't miss a beat.

The food is always great, I've been coming to this place for years and never been disappointed. The ribeye steak is always really good, and the wings are a must! I wish I could get that wing recipe.

This is a bit of an odd gem here in Tucson. The prices are higher than the atmosphere would suggest, but it is a really good steak and the servers are polite and attentive. I would suggest reservations in advance, especially if you want to go during a normal dinner time.

After we had ordered ribs we had to wait a half an hour for them to come and tell us that they didn't have any ribs , we change our orders and had to wait another 45 minutes. They did give us 10 percent discount

We love this place and come at least twice every time we are in Tucson. The tenderloin is to die for and cooked perfect every time. Love the baked potato and the Texas toast. I see you have to ask for the bread and beans now - definitely ask for them! Nice salad with what I would say are in house made dressings (I think?). Halibut is also excellent. Highly recommend!

Great food in a locals restaurant. We both had the ribs that were fantastic. A basic experience with really good food. We recommend!

We were SO IMPRESSED with this steakhouse. It doesn’t look fancy from the outside but the delivery is world class. The steaks are cooked out front of restaurant after you place your order. Sure, it takes a bit to come out but the drinks and appetizer (if ordered) as well as side dishes come out well spaced so you’re never left wondering when your steak will arrive. The steaks are tasty and cooked to perfection! Definitely worth a stop. Drinks are creative and awesome. I’ll be stopping again next time I’m in the Tucson area!

The ribs were probably the best I've ever eaten. But the hour wait to get them seemed a bit excessive.

Looked at the website before going here and the website made it look like a nice slightly upscale place, but my party was seated on the sports bar side of the restaurant. I didn't realize that there were two very distinct sections to the place until we were walking out, so I was very disappointed by the old tables and the lack of walk ways between the tables. The cheapest meal was $21 and it just felt like the prices didn't match the food and atmosphere. And the denim cut offs on the waitresses looked sloppy.

FALSE ADVERTISING- WHAT A CON SHOP and from these reviews it shows this is the way they run their business. First off we walked in and it was very quiet (now I understand why) and it took almost 10 minutes for the hostess to acknowledge our arrival to seat us. Then our order was placed and we waited a hour and a half for our food to come out. I ordered a ribeye that was most definitely not a ribeye cut ( you get a better cut and tastier steak from a food cart) it was flat, fried to a crisp, thin and tasted like beef jerky. The potato was small, cold and undercooked. Our condiments for it came in plastic cups. The beans were just canned beans mixed with water. If I’m being completely honest the salad is the cheapest lettuce you can buy, the bread tastes like Texas toast from the store (disgusting) and the cheapest food quality ever. They should take MARKET VALUE off their menu as no single cut was worth that title. Less than POOR QUALITY FOOD for high end prices. My husbands steak was suppose to be medium and came out well done. Not to mention the steak was most definitely not even close to the ounces that they advertise which is false advertisement and are ripping people off. My kids ordered cheeseburgers and they came out on a bun with literally nothing on them and burnt to a crisp. The server never came back to check on us or our food (conveniently disappeared which lines up with other comments posted here) so we couldn’t complain. We ate our food as we would have to pay for it and didn’t want to send it back and wait another hour and a half for another big disappointment. I mentioned at the end it was terrible and the waitress said she would get her manager and the coward never came to table to address it and she offered us a free dessert. What a joke. This place is a Rip-off. They should not be considered a steakhouse. If you want bad service, over-priced menu, disgusting food and a dirty unkept atmosphere then this your place. Waste of time and hard earned money.

I've eaten at this place for years and it has always been absolutely amazing, I can't recommend it enough! I like to sit in the bar area, it's a little more "lively", but the dining room is nice too. Only problem is when the place is busy, service can be slow. But the steaks and ribs are the best in Tucson and worth the wait, even on a busy night.

Expensive and all of our baked potatoes were tiny. Chips and salsa was $5 and the salsa was horrible. It was pretty much diced tomatoes with salt and cilantro.

One of the best steaks I've eaten in a long time.

It has a rustic small town feel to it, which I enjoy. Unfortunately that was it. It wasn’t a busy night when we showed up, half of the restaurant was empty. We still had to wait 20 minutes to get seated and then another 10 minutes before the server actually acknowledged us. While we were waiting for our food, they were cleaning other tables with lemon scented Lysol, which ruined the great mesquite smoke smell and food. I thought it was common sense not to use scented items like Lysol and perfumes at a restaurant. As for the food, you can get a better cut at Fry’s than what they’re serving. That was the cheapest, fattiest meat I’ve ever had at a restaurant. We ordered a half a rack of ribs, and a ribeye. Ribeye is my personal favorite cut and half of it had to go to waste because it was just fat. What a joke. I used to come here often, but I don’t think I’ll be doing that anymore.

I haven't been here in over a decade but it was just as good as I remember. Food was good, ribs fell off the bone. Steak could have been a little better but was still good. The beans were bland but the baked potato was fantastic. Once it got busy the service slowed down but that's to be expected and anyone who doesn't realize that is just silly.

Twice ask if bathroom ..mens could have grab bars installed 4 handicapped.. very hard on older persons.. guess they don't care about us..usually have a party of 6....once a month...NO..MORE...WILL FIND OTHER STEAK HOUSE...

Unreliable posted hours of operations. Says 4-10 pm M-Sat online and on the sign outside the front door but most times the grill shuts down way before that. Apparently it is too difficult for them to provide accurate hours of operation. High turnover with staff and service is normally poor and unreliable. Food is good if you can get decent service and their if kitchen is actually open. Good luck!

Terrible service. I wasn't even sure who our waitress was because we never saw her... also NEVER and I mean NEVER have I been handed a paper bag that was too small for my steak when I asked for a to go box. I couldn't take any sides just my steak barely. Also it was like a million degrees in there. DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND!
