This place is DELICIOUS! Having grown up in the Middle East, I can say that Damascus Grill is quite authentic considering it’s a small, simple place in Littleton, CO. Their dip sampler is amazing as their hummus, baba ghanouj and garlic sauce is absolutely delicious! Very friendly and wonderful Arabic staff. Pricing is pretty fair I think.

Easily one of the most genuine and authentic Middle Eastern restaurants I've been to. If there was ever a place that defined local, hidden gem, hole in the wall, this is it. Ignore the negative reviews, they either don't know what they are talking about, or they are overly picky and don't understand authentic.

I was so disappointed by the lack of quality in the meat in the lamb/beef shawarma. No seasoning and the sauce was very watery and lacked flavor. Basic lettuce/cucumber/tomato in the wrap. Nothing special. Almost inedible. I’ve had Syrian cuisine before and the lack of flavor from this place is shameful honestly. The hummus was good. I came here because of the good reviews and left underwhelmed. Doesn’t feel like there’s much love put into that place.

Hey, give it a try, if you've never truly known authentic you might really like it. Needs a specialist cook though, possibly difficult to find one that's experienced. It's in a great location and off the Littleton main street strip as it's own building with its own parking+ a huge potential for authentic catering. What is that weird sauce you are replacing garlic sauce (toom) with being the most odd? Odd as well, chicken should have been shaved not kabob chucks, should be lavish bread or such flat separated and rolled - dipped below in the shawarma pan and grill press. Now, to the point!!! So it was Almost, but not really sort of exactly the Sham/Damascus authentic. Benefit of the doubt up a star for being there so long.

Hello, Ordered online. Unfortunately first and last time here. A Google rating for this place online seems fake, there is no way the place can be above 4 stars with such a bad quality food. All three plates came with rice which is the worst I have ever tasted. Hummus was fine. Trout was officially the worst I have tried in my life. All plates had a lot of excessive charcoal inside which makes sense - as I was picking food up I glanced at the kitchen behind cashier and it definitely was not a clean place. 1.5 stars out of 5 would be waaaaay more appropriate for experience at Damascus restaurant today. Online customer's who trust online ratings beware.

This place deserves all the love. We ordered Lamb Kabob and Baked Lamb Sandwich and both were really delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly and very tender as well. The service was quick and very friendly as well. Would definitely revisit and recommend this for middle eastern cuisine.

This has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat in Littleton. Everything I've tried on the menu has been delicious but the chicken shawarma and veggie dolmas in particular - out of this world. Hands down best chicken Shawarma wrap I've ever had- amazing flavor! Its also family run and they are such nice people!

Bad experience . first time and last time .The Chicken and other meat was dry .the quality of food is not good. also the restaurant is not clean enough

My first experience with middle eastern food and it was a knockout!

omg we absolutely loved everything! we tried various items since it was our first time. the staff was so wonderful and very helpful with any questions. the hummus is the best!! My favorite hummus now. the portions are a great size on the entrees and everything is seasoned to perfection! even the lentil soup....I had no idea lentil soup could be that good. this place deserves to be way more packed than it is. it looks worn on the outside but the food is too good to not keep going back. 10/10 I definitely recommend!

So delicious, best middle eastern food I’ve ever had. So darn good!😊 highly recommend the veggie wrapped grape leaves, hummus and roasted mushrooms! Insanely good. The gyro is also seen here (everything on the plate, you pack it yourself)! I also had the lemonade today - tasted like it was freshly squeezed. I’ve NEVER had a bad meal here, ever. It’s so good. I typically dine in but you can also order to-go. Highly recommend.

What an absolute delight! I genuinely can't say enough nice things about the food. We got two incredible entrees, everybody was absolutely delicious and wonderfully prepared. I picked it up right around the time it was scheduled to be ready, had a lovely conversation with the proprietor, and it was still nice and toasty when I got back home. Everything was absolutely bursting with flavor and super fresh. I'm already partial to Syrian food but this really went above and beyond, especially for takeout. The prices were reasonable, about what you'd expect. The portions were absolutely enormous, so be prepared to have leftovers. My only regret was not a dessert but there's definitely going to be a next time. There's plenty of parking and it's easy to get in and out of the lot. The dining room looks nice but unfortunately in the time of covid, we're mostly doing takeout. When things improve I'll definitely be back for dine-in, but until then I have definitely found another great pickup option in Littleton. Second review: ate in this time and it was just as delicious!

Ordered gyro sandwiches and they were mediocre.... BUT we got the vegetarian sampler #2. I'm not kidding when I say it's some of the best food I've eaten in a long time. Skip the meat and get the vegetarian food. 😋

Place looks a little run down buy their food is fantastic. Some of the best hummus I gave had in a while. Their kabobs are great, chicken is tender and the portions aren't ridiculous.

I’m not sure how they have 4.5 stars. The food had an old grease taste. Pita bread was uncooked. Service was good however we tossed the food in the trash.

Good authentic Middle Eastern food. I ordered a vegan sampler, and all was delicious. I would highly recommend this place. I marked the atmosphere down because the interior is dated, but don't let that keep you out.

I took a huge haul of takeout for family movie night for six. Mixed in some apps, some platters, some meat, some vegetarian, some bread, falafel, etc. Ordered too much food. Total crowd-pleaser. We live blocks from Jerusalem and it was still totally worth the trip. Hassan (?) was very helpful.

Delicious Syrian food and lovely service!

Wow! What a hidden gem. Terrific humus, fresh homemade Pita bread and it tasted sooo good. Had the roasted lamb which was so tender. Spouse had the Gyro which she loved. Will be back for certain.

Consistently delicious all these years. The Syrian cuisine is hands down the best in all of the Denver metro. The baba ghanoush is smoky and fresh always. The best baba I've had anywhere. The nutty hummus is outstanding. Lamb kabobs with rice and hummus and pita was spectacular and wonderfully spiced. The entrees are a perfect blend of spice and flavor, each dish having multiple flavors that work well together. Got some lentil soup, another appetizer Baba ghanoush and baklava to-go. Quick service. Friendly staff. Quaint decor. Plenty of seating. You cannot beat this local business. Visit and eat and have things catered. You'll be glad you did.

Real, full flavors. We get the samplers when family is in town. Good place to sit down with parking right outside. Absolutely best hummus and freshest, softest pitas. We love this place.

A friend orders from this place for lunch sometimes, and he recommended it to us. So, we decided to try it for dinner. The establishment on the inside is a little on the dingy side. We were the only guests. It wasn't really a vibe, so we ordered to-go. The tables were clean and the dining area is a nice space. It just needs a facelift. There is a dessert cooler with the lights off and desserts in there that look like they have been there for a long time. My suggestion- repair the cooler and make it presentable. The gentleman working there greeted us and immediately started making our order. It came out really fast. We ordered the hummus dip and a gyro sandwich. Both were good-sized portions. The flavor was also good. The sandwich had nice chunks of cucumber and not too much red onion (I prefer less onions). The chuncks of gyro meat were pretty big, so they fell out of the pita while trying to eat it. It was a tasty sandwich, but just a little hard to eat as a handheld. Overall, we were satisfied. We will try them again. Next time, I'd love to try the chicken shwarma. No photos since we ate it in our car on the way home.

So glad I found this place. Middle eastern food is expressed with love, and a lot of the competitors in this area mass produce the food with low flavor, small rations, and minimizing the cultural experience. This restaurant does not of that. The hummus is fantastic. Top tier, and the pita that goes along with it is the best one. We can’t find good pita here, the one that can split thinly, and we usually have to import from another state. Damascus has the same one but better. All of the main meals are great. Large portions, built with flavor, and tasty with the grill. Favorite is the Kufta Kabob followed by the Chicken Kabob, highly recommend. I left this meal so impressed and confident that I can once again dine on Middle eastern authentic cuisine. Thank you!

Really good flavors for middle eastern food near Denver

I've been eating here for about 7 years. I almost always just get the hummus and pita, which is the best I've had anywhere. Made fresh from scratch every couple of days, and it's my favorite. They were recently closed for 25 days due to an electrical issue, but that's all fixed and they are back up and running. Support a fantastic local restaurant!

The worst experience I’ve ever had, I don't even think about going there again. Poor service and expensive for no apparent reason

This restaurant is still open. I was told by one of their guys that the power went out for 25 days. Please come back and enjoy this amazing establishment. (My previous review is below) This restaurant is absolutely amazing. I love a lot of the kabob dishes. They cook the meats perfectly. If you haven't been here, you should really try this place.

This joint is only a shadow of what it once was. I remember when this restaurant started in Colorado Blvd. Food was delicious. The atmosphere was great. Now the place is small, kind of filthy, but what is worst is the food. Pita is still good though. Prices are competitive and the person who waited our table did his best. That said, no way in hell I'm returning to this restaurant. Less than average middle eastern food.

I absolutely love this place! I ordered chicken shawarma, falafel, and chai. A plate of complementary hummus and pita were provided, and everything was absolutely delicious. Full of flavor and beautifully presented on the plate. I will definitely be returning soon!!

Damascus Grill is a family-owned business with excellent customer service and tasty food. Their lamb shank was the last meal I had, before COVID, before I had my twins. I finished every last morsel. I remembered it being so good. It was time to go back. There’s parking at the restaurant, and street parking is also available. I highly recommend this Syrian restaurant.

This was our second time coming yo the Damascus Grill and it was so delicious. We are from Michigan and have never had authentic food like this. We plan on bringing any and all out of town guests here to experience this amazing food. Thank you for having us!

I tried this place because it is close to my new office location and I am looking for me new go-to lunch spot. I got the bone-in chicken entrée. The prices have gone up since the photos of the menu were posted on google. it was nearly $20. Bit overpriced. The chicken was overcooked, dry and tough, which is difficult to do with bone-in chicken thighs. the rice, hummus, bread was decent. Not worth $20. I would have given this a mediocre review, then I realized I had left my credit card with the cashier. I went back the next day and thankfully they had my credit card. This morning I got a notification from my bank asking if a $1,500 charge from "Crossroads Commons" was me. An employee must have taken my credit card info and went shopping. There are much better places for food that don't have corrupt morals.

I love this place everything here is good, but if you want the best hummus you've ever had in your life, you must go to Damascus Grill, it is heavenly!

Great service! Food was amazing, one of the best lamb kabobs I've ever had. UPDATE: Came back a year later cause i couldn't stop thinking about it. We live an hour drive away and have noncsr but we found a way to make it here. This food is so good it confusing. Youll question everything youve ever tasted, it sets a new standard for how good food is.

Wow the food was amazing here! They could really benefit from having a server though. It was clear that the gentleman working the register was also the server and also one of the cooks. We didn't get any water refills, and it was clear that the rest of the restaurant wanted his attention. Im very patient, I was more concerned for him! My husband and I ordered the dip sampler (oh wow, truly delicious. The best baba ganoush I've ever had, and such soft fresh pita), and two gyro sandwiches, which were absolutely stuffed with delicious meat and fresh taztiki. Every bite was outstanding. The environment could use with some TLC as well. I will likely order again, but I hope they invest in wait staff so the customers felt more taken care of and the gentleman could get some relief!

This is hands down mine and my husband's favorite Mediterranean restaurant in the greater Denver area. It's in Littleton, but we will drive from Arvada because it is so good. You can't go wrong with any item on the menu, and the service is incredible considering how few people work there. The portions are plenty and you definitely get your money's worth.

We are regulars to Damascus grill and I am quite disappointed from our dinner tonight and some other recent experiences. The gyro meat was cold, the service was not up to par and we basically just threw our money down the toilet because we had to throw all our food away, it was that bad tonight, we may have to reconsider our choices moving forward which is a shame. This has happened a couple times, the consistency is starting to lack which is a disappointment because we have been coming here for the past 5 years.

The food was good, but the service was incredibly slow. We went on a Saturday night and the place was mostly empty, yet it took 30 minutes after we ordered to get our drinks, another 20 minutes to get our appetizer, and another 30 minutes to get our entrees. The place seemed very under-staffed, and the server had no sense of urgency and seemed like he really did not want to be there. Had it not taken almost an hour and a half to get our food, I would give a higher score.

Best Middle Eastern food we have found around Denver. Everything was great but the Lamb Kebob might have been the best I have ever had.

We came in and instantly got seated by the waiter and he was very quick and polite. He gave us a good of time to think of what we would like to order and came at the right time. The waiter was very friendly. The appetizer was absolutely DELICIOUS and we ate it in under ten minutes. The combination of sauces made this very delightful and the bread was delicate and soft. The waiter became very aware of some of our allergies and took it very seriously, so thank you. When we got our food, it all came at the same time which was amazing. The food was delicious and fresh. The children also loved the food. We are sorry for our baby, Charlie screaming and laughing at the top of his lungs the whole time.

This restaurant takes more care to the online orders that the people waiting on the table for a warm Meal! Almost two hours waiting for the meals and they came cold and with a nasty attitude from the cashier-waiter guy , is not my fault that they don’t hire more people for the service! And it wasn’t just my table, I saw two more families leaving the restaurant 0 stars

Hadn't been back here in awhile as I moved out of the area but was in the area many years later and the food is just as delicious!

They don’t answer their phone in the evening and when I have gone in to order the service was horrific. The guy at the register clearly did not want to be there. He was rude and slow. Please hire staff who care. Please!

The falafel and tabbolah are so good. However the place needs more care and cleaning. I wish the best for them.
