I’ve eaten here sever times when traveling to the area for work. The last time I ordered the ribs and oh my gosh! They are to die for! I’ve had pasta dishes as well. Never been disappointed.

Their perch dinner and shrimp dinner are excellent.

Best darn ribs I ever had in my life. I have been all over the us and had ribs only to find it in the UP. Will definitely have them again when we come back.

Damians is always great! We love their fish fry and their fresh bread.

Fantastic 16 inch thin crust with mushroom, onion, green pepper & w/o cheese. Yes, was the best I've had in many years since a child/ young adult in Chicago. Highly reccomend! Price was $20 & will order again, for certain! The workers were friendly, helpful, & timely with my order before closing.🌟 Also, had the full rack ribs twice before, YUMMY, loved them! Da' Best!

We tried out Damian's because we recieved several positive reviews. However, we were very disappointed with the quality of the food. The food is very bland--garlic bread is just a slice of white bread with a thin layer of some garlic paste in the middle, pasta sauces have no vegetables or herbs other than tomato sauce, and the mozzarella sticks had a funky taste to them (unfortunately, we can't describe what this taste was). Additionally, we ordered chicken with one of the pasta dishes and never received the chicken. Unfortunately, we can't recommend Damian's and likely won't be returning.

I was not here at all yesterday until after I received notification of my account being accessed near here. There was a red Class Auction pick up truck outside I had not seen before and money/credits stolen from me via Google and PayPal immediately afterwards.

Great food, service and very reasonably priced. I'd recommend this place to anyone because there is a little something for everyone. The Gyro is unstoppable

We had the tortellini and lasagna there today and it was absolutely delicious and the portions are big so we have a meal for later too. Will definitely be back

We have simply never been disappointed. Food is always good. Ribs are great. Garlic shrimp is good. Get it almost every time I go. Chicken is a favorite. Coleslaw is one of my absolute favorites.

This is a great place to order out fish fry! They have cod, perch, and whitefish. The Staff are super friendly. The perch was delicious.

When I arrived there I went there for having some food.It was very awesome.The service was very quick although there were large number of guest.The staffs were very energetic and very smart in their work.The food was also very tasty.

When I arrive in the UP, my first stop after leaving Ford Airport is Damian's to purchase a pasty on my way to check into my motel. Best pasties in the area. This visit was 13 days, so you guessed it - I returned several times to purchase pasties. My favorite is their rutabaga pasty, but I will settle for any of their pasties. Just wish they shipped them.

Best Chicken salad ever. The homemade croutons r to die for. Fish is awesome too. Gonna try the cheesecake this time.

I love the pasta here and the Italian dressing on the salad is good. Generous portions for the price.

This is a take out restaurant only. They have fabulous Lasagna. Have not tried anything else. It is not cheap however, it will feed a large get together. Call before you go.

Best homemade Italian around! The lasagna noodles are paper thin and the sauce is awesome! We are from Escanaba and whenever we are in Iron Mountain we stop and pick up some food to take home. I wish they still sold in the stores in Escanaba!!!!!!! Hint Hint??? Portions are huge and come with salad and garlic bread.

The homemade pasta here is to die for and the lasagna is the crown in the jewel. Portions are VERY large and the service is very friendly. If you are looking for a good takeout dinner to feed your family on a busy work night this is the place to go to.

Impossible to pick a favorite. Went in for a pasty, but also left with a fish fry and pasta. Only regret is that I did not order 100 pasties! Staff are very efficient, observant of customers' time and polite. Add in a spotlessly clean place which always leaves a positive impression.

I've never had a bad meal from Damian's, everything is excellent. I do have to say that amidst all that good food, I almost always get the ribs because they are the best anywhere. Do yourself a favor and get a rib dinner. You'll get a choice of potato, slaw, homemade bread, extra homemade sauce and all the trimmings. The meat just melts in your mouth and the sauce is great.

Create homemade pasta and pasties.

Great food! The pizza is really good and not a lot of people think of them for pizza. Cheese ravs are also great. The only reason it's not 5 stars is sometimes depending on who answers the phone, they can be short/not courteous. It happens more when they are busy/stressed...and only happens occasionally.

Very satisfying Perch Fish Fry!!! Six pieces of Perch, fries, slaw and bread. More than plenty to eat and I will order again, in the future.

Great food and friendly staff, loved the Alaskan Cod and cheesecake!

Anytime we are in the area we always pick up some pasties to take home. As far S we are concerned they are the best around and they are very good sized. If you get them frozen then they are tax free. I hope they stay open for years to come so we can continue to get them anytime we are in the area.

I phoned in an order today. The woman on the other end was incredibly helpful and friendly. I wasn't sure exactly what or how much to order of anything, just told her what my family was in the mood for and she made the perfect recommendations. We had Italian chicken, spaghetti, alfredo, coleslaw, garlic, bread and salad. The chicken was tender and well seasoned, the alfredo sauce was perfect consistency and we could actually taste garlic in the sauce which we love. The ranch was awesome as well. We will definitely return for the great customer service and awesome food.

Now this is what you would call a hidden gem. This small restaurant my not seem special but their food is amazing. They serve fantastic Italian food as well as other "American" favorites such as BBQ Ribs, chicken wings, cheese curds, french fries, and chicken tenders. They also serve a local food called a Pasty. I generally do not like "bone-in" chicken wings but their's are the exception to that. I highly recommend to try this.

I had the Pastie (pasties are everywhere in the area) and it was as good or better than the ones my Grandma made when I was a child.

I don't know of any other take out in the local area that has take-out ribs. These are fall-off-the-bone lip smacking good!! Chicken is awesome too...and the spaghetti. The sad thing is I consider it a bit expensive for take-out.,,,maybe 10-15% more than I feel comfortable paying. However, when you just want to partake of great ribs, it's worth it. Ample portions, so maybe that would counter my previous "overpriced" statement. :-) Plan to wait 30-45 minutes on a busy Friday night. Staff has always been friendly.

I recently had this for a business lunch. I only sampled three entrée items and the bread, so that's all I can comment on. Fettuccini alfredo with chicken - sauce was smooth and creamy with average flavor, but the sliced chicken breast seemed like it was one of those frozen "food product" types sold by Sysco. It did not have the texture of an actual cooked, sliced boneless chicken breast. Meat and cheese ravioli - well cooked pasta, again just average flavor. Cheese ravs were not better or worse than frozen I've had. The red sauce was a bit greasy and rather unremarkable flavor wise. Tasted like canned diced tomatoes simmered with a hint of garlic. I'm not sure why everyone raves about their bread...it was oily and the bottom crust was very tough. The flavor was not as full as the local grocery store's. Tasted most like a frozen loaf of dough that was baked, sliced, and then had melted margarine poured over it. Overall the food was ...well....average. Not terrible, but not remarkably better than a good frozen variety. Can't say I'd pay for it.

Best Take Out Italian Anywhere. And the Friday Fish Fry is excellent, too.....And great Pasties. Great place to get large orders of pasta, lasagna, etc. if you have a big crowd to feed. Take-out only. Too bad it's only take out, because the food is so good that Damian's would make a perfect full-service restaurant but I admire his business model just the way it is.

I'm really sad that they removed the pesto from the menu, it was their best dish. The food is amazing but feels a little overpriced for the small portion sizes. Always a great choice though.
