I've lived here my whole life, they've been open for a few months but WOW. Great place, great food and drinks, and Cookie is just awesome. Love it here!!!!

Absolutely adore this place! The owner is so sweet and has the best sense of humor. She had me and my husband laughing the whole time we were there. The croissants are delicious and I love that they are conscious about the different sugars and ingredients they offer for their hot tea. We will be back for sure!

Grabbed coffee on our way to the ferry and they made us lunch to take with us to the island! With a smile the lady separated all the wet ingredients so we could enjoy it to go. Went back this afternoon, A+ people, coffee, and food!

What a wonderful surprise my wife and I had when we changed our plans and took a risk on this café! The staff were super friendly, the food amazing, and the atmosphere was eclectic. I just cannot say enough about this little gem of a café.

Can’t say enough good things. Family owned, they go above and beyond to get you just what you want. Come on Beaufort and tourists- eat here ( not at a nasty chain). You won’t be sorry. Kids can play, folks can sit and enjoy nature.

A quaint little café. Awesome vibe. Has everything a customer needs. Even has a mini dog park. The beautiful outside seating area will bring joy in your heart while sipping on your favorite cup of coffee. Oh, they have the best breakfast sandwiches in town at a reasonable price!

Wonderful staff, wonderful food, cozy atmosphere! It’s a great place to get things done or to sit and chat with someone while you eat and drink. I recommend the Lotus drinks since there’s lots of flavor variety, the flavors are delicious, and it’s energizing! Also the pizzas are so good. I wish I had found them sooner, definitely head down and give them a try!

The place where I was staying didn’t have any coffee - the horror!! Dancing Baristas fixed that for me and I am every so grateful. I had a red eye that was truly tasty. I perused the shop and found some cool earrings and a bracelet to purchase as well. Niko was my barista and he was so cool, a delight! The space has got great vibes and when I’m back in the area I’ll visit again!

Such a sweet place with the best atmosphere 🩷 brought my little boy in and he had a muffin and a pretzel and was in love! I got a bacon egg and cheese flatbread that was amazinggg! Their outdoor seating areas are beautiful as well, best place to enjoy the weather with good food and drinks. Doesn’t get any better than Miss. Cookie 🩷 If I could give it ten stars I would for sure.

Excellent! I needed a late morning pick me up and one of the owners, Cookie, made a perfect cafe con leche for me! Add in her beautiful spirit and smiles and I’m ready for the rest of the day! Wishing this local gem much success!

Great atmosphere , great service and great food!! went in and order the egg salad with bacon on a croissant… it was PHENOMENAL… so much that I have been two mornings in a row. We had our HOA meeting in the extended space behind the main building this past weekend. Cookie & Niko were so helpful and accommodating to all our needs. They made sure our set-up was to our liking and the temperature in the space was comfy. They also provided hot coffee, regular and decaf, hot water with a selection of tasty teas, and cold water. In addition, this was not included, but a full menu was available to our members if they wanted delicious food. It was an excellent experience! We wish this local business much success! Update: Last week, Cookie prepared our breakfast, breakfast bowl and a breakfast sandwich. Both were outstanding!. After our meeting on Saturday, we stayed for lunch and Niko prepared a BLT on sourdough bread and a Club wrap and both were incredibly delicious!! Check them out, you won't be disappointed!

I came in on Sunday (Christmas Eve, 2023), and they were among two or three shops open for coffee. Just A couple of blocks off the arterial road. Nice, level, gravel parking lot. I always prefer local! Espresso is good. Dry (in wine terms), with a slight astringency. They have heavy cream! Espresso with a dash of cream, a very tasty croissant, only about five bucks! It’s a good deal.

This is a relatively new venue; I hadn't been in the area for a while, so when I came back to see family I had to try it out. I went a couple of times and the food/coffee/atmosphere was great. The espresso-based drinks are legitimately good. I'm from the Triangle area and we have a lot of neat little coffee shops like this, but they are nowhere near as common on the coast. I hope this place stays open. Highly recommended.

Awesome stop before heading to cape lookout! Iced coffee was really good with just a little cream, the bowls are a great keto/low carb/grain free option, bagels were ~Amazing~ and the best part she is an incredibly friendly awesome human. So nice and the whole family seemed to hanging out. Super fast were able to make our ferry no problem. 10/10

I just discovered this place and will be back here every time I come to Beaufort. The coffee is great, cinnamon rolls excellent, and had BLT for lunch and it was excellent as well. Cookie the owner is so nice and friendly. Great location with a tiny play area for your dogs. Go here, you won't be disappointed!!

Looked at reviews for breakfast places for a beach trip and this place was such a great start to our day. The lotus drink I got was so refreshing and was a great pick me up. The muffins were just like the huge moist and fluffy but crunchy topped muffins you get at a nice bakery. They also are dog friendly with an outdoor run and plenty of outdoor seating. You could bring a group for brunch or just have a quiet get together with how well the seating is spaces out. Would be worth the 50 min drive out here to visit again.

Such a cool spot! I stayed at the Airbnb above (the Common Place Loft) and had so much fun getting to know Cookie and a few of the locals. She’s quick to get your order to you, and there’s such a wide selection (the everything breakfast bagel is the best, but so is the blueberry muffin!) I love how welcoming and hospitable this cozy cafe is - make it a must-visit if visiting Beaufort!

Not because my mom is one of the co-owners 🤪 but I absolutely love to come out here to Dancing Baristas! It’s in a location right off of the main road coming into Beaufort. This shop is pet and child friendly! They sell by a plant based energy drink called Lotus that you can get in virtually any flavor! The food here is off the chain no matter who makes it for you! 🙌🏾 there’s always an event going on! This month they had a vendor event and live music! Make sure you follow DBC on FB to stay informed on the event.

Wonderful place to grab a light dinner on a Friday evening. It was raining and the covered patio was dry and comfortable. The club sandwich and Flatbread were both delicious. We will definitely come back to try breakfast. 5 stars 🌟.

This place is such a great find in Beaufort! It's a beautiful day. The ladies were so friendly. The club sandwich is the best I have ever eaten! The bread was toasted perfectly. Amazing place. I'll be back.

Straight up came for the name. Just outside is one of the coolest coffee places I’ve seen. There are numerous places to sit outside and a dog pen area. Games outside. I didn’t go inside much except to order because we had perfect outside weather today, but I did order 2 Lotuses, one mango & one passionfruit. The mango has a kind of tart punch to it where the passionfruit is softer and more subtle. Very wonderful for a warm or hot day. The owner (?) is from Spain and very gregarious. They have a point system to reward return customers, and I’m looking forward to trying some other items and some fresh croissants. The neighbor tree offers a lot of shade and makes this place very comfortable to just hang out. All their items are available until they close or run out, yay breakfast sandwiches for dinner! The music is a good volume, not too loud but you can still hear it, and the selection varies enough to be interesting. Overall, I think this place is a hidden gem tucked behind Glazed donut food truck and kinda looks like a house. They have blue flags to mark their entrances, otherwise we might have missed it. Worth the find and worth return visits for sure.
