This was my first time in here with my boyfriend (he’s order from here with the company he works for), and the pizza was delicious! The staff is super sweet and attentive! Will be back soon

Amazing little spot for a pizza, since I’ve been working in that area I’ve come many days for lunch to have the 2 slice lunch special. I love it, the staff is extremely friendly and hard working.

Patrick Dr. Indian Harbour Beach, FL 32937 4 Stars I don't know about you, loyal follower, but in this day and age, it's hard to cope with a slightly poltroonic outlook. Mustering the energy to venture forth with the economy and political atmosphere of an election year permeating the atmosphere is something I am finding harder and harder to do. If that wasn't enough, I now had to go to yet another Italian-American eatery as Dano's Pizza By the Shore was presented to me on my random name generator. At least I was staying beachside. Proclaiming they were born on the Jersey Shore and not the Indian River Shore, they had NY stuff all over the place. Thankfully, The Situation and/or Snooki were not to be found. What I really liked was the paint scheme. Every Italian place has standard plastic checkered tablecloths, but not this place. Dano's has them painted with the colors of the Italian flag. Very cool! Ashley is our server today and she also stated that she was married to the owner. Doesn't that make her the owner as well? I did, albeit skeptically, put in an order for their “world-famous” meatball sub. I am always leary when I see fluffery such as this or best in USA/State/County claims. I always picture an elderly couple in Perth planning a vacation and going, “Hey! Let's make it a point to stop in FL so we can have one of Dano's meatball subs the neighbors have been going on about.” Along with the sub, I also asked Ashley for one small white pizza. Kickin' back and enjoyin' the vibe of the place, I soon noticed Ashley heading over with our food. Snapping the required pics, I began to chow down. The first to hit Big Boy's palate was the meatball sub. Excuse me, the “world famous” meatball sub. While I seriously doubt our Australian couple is talking about it, I did find it exceptional. The bread was warm, fresh and flaky, while the meatballs were delectable in their bed of marinara sauce. Finding the sub to be surprisingly delightful, I took a bite out of the white pizza. Traditionally, a white pizza has a garlic and olive oil “sauce” topped with various cheese and perhaps some spinach. Dano's was topped with ricotta, romano, mozzarella, provolone and parmesan cheese. The dough was superb, and I could tell it was made on-site, not from frozen. It's very easy to tell the difference in flavor and consistency, plus I could see the dough mixer in the kitchen. It all starts with the base and this base was crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside and tasty all over. The cheeses were obviously the real dairy deal. The Big Boy says, “It'sa fun place to bringa the family witha great owners.”

Where can I get a damn good pizza on this island?! after a few trials and errors I finally found some damn good pizza at Danos! Authentic jersey? Say less. Menu is simple and straightforward. 20 bucks, 8 slices, easy as pie. Picked it up a few minutes behind when I called and it was still super hot and fresh. We devoured it. Even great the next day and I am a cold pizza lover. If you want excellent thin, crispy, not floppy pizza with great toppings. Definitely come here. Their sauce is savory and unique and their cheese was really good too. We got the Margarita. 10/10 thankyou Danos!

Very good subs and customer service

We just ate here for the first time on a friend's recommendation and were not disappointed! Got a meatball sub and a hot Italian and they were both delicious!! The staff were nice and the food came out quick. We will definitely be coming back, we want to try the pizza!

We got delivery while on vacation. The pizza was okay, but the garlic knots had SO MUCH raw garlic and oil/butter some were actually inedible.

Being from Jersey, I am critical of pizza. When I walked into Dano’s it had smell and feel of a Jersey pizza joint. The pizza was awesome, staff were friendly. Anytime I visit area, I will stop at Dano’s for the 2 slices and fountain drink deal.

We ordered stromboli, calzone and meatball parm for take out and it was fantastic. I give those three items five stars. The following week we decided to go and dine there. That was a mistake. It is more of a take out/delivery place. Two of us ordered eggplant parm which was inedible. The eggplant wasn't fried, just placed on top of the ziti. The baked ziti was good tho. The portions are large.

My family of three typically get a large deluxe and are always happy with the results. You can taste the veggies, the pizza isn't greasy, has a crisp crust and is the perfect size to feed us for two meals. The place is pretty small, so we typically do take out.

Well they had a deal two slices and a soda for $7 I was trying to ask can I get the two slices and forget the soda for 5 and she cuts me off I try to re-explain it and she was rude and cut me off again so I asked just for a slice of cheese didn't have any at the moment so I weighed about 8 minutes they bring it out in a box and it's barely 7 in wide and about 7 in long for $4 first time and last time I tnot going back and it was burnt.the girl working the phone and customers was rude and down. talking the other 2 employees. Making pizzasill give it another try. Maybe she was having a stressful night. The special was 2 slices of cheese AND a fountain drink for $7 ok but you said that your fountain machine was not working so that's why I asked if I could get the 2 slices for $5 . It wouldn't very well be a special without the drink!

Down here for work, and decided to try some pizza places. This is by far the best pizza I have ever had. Cooked beautifully and not overly greasy. And super cheap. $7 for 2 slices and a large drink. Can't beat that at all. Super friendly and patient staff. Most definitely going to come back.

This is our Absolute Favorite pizza delivery spot in all of beachside and we’ve tried them all! Crispy, fresh, and delicious Every single time!!!! Our go to is their pepperoni, or white with meatballs. I can’t rate the atmosphere as I’ve never eaten inside.

I think this is my 1st restaurant review but feel I have to let you know my experience. We just finished deluxe pizza, and my favorite Greek salad and garlic knots! Danos A+ pizza crust is amazing you will eat every bite!!! If you love garlic get the garlic knots..you will be addicted! I love this place!😀

Nice pizza. A bit overated. Cheese to sauce ratio IMO off. Not the best pizza man/woman.. pie is dressed inconsistent.. But locally they are pretty good

I sat at the counter and was served some amazing entrees. I am a true pizza snob from NJ and the white pie was to die for.on day 2 I had a calzone with sausage and onions and a small calzone was very filling and also amazing. Dano's is the real deal. I need to try the whole menu because this place is that good! If you are close be sure to stop. If you are not that close take the ride. You will not be disappointed!

I absolutely loved eating at this NY/NJ style pizzeria. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly. I have eaten there several times and would recommend the stuff shells and the calzones. Their salads are really good too!

Ordered a pizza with a half topping on each side and was charged for 2 toppings. Questionable at best as this is first time they've done this. Love the food but this leaves a bad taste in my mouth...

The food is absolutely amazing – Let's talk about it.. everything you taste will melt in the mouth of the person sitting next to you.. Absolutely the best meal your mother will have and no She can't cook better than Dano's. It's a place where people come to relax And hang with their favorite people, It's a place for old schools not old fools.. You don't believe me go on a lunch past 12 o'clock when the boys are with the man himself Dano.. It'll be the greatest stand up comedy you ever see.. And please do me a favor... If it's the first time there just do whatever body told you to do.. Try the damn Meatballs.. They truly are the world's greatest.. And if you see a big dude with a mullet Bacon pizzas in the back do not be afraid... He used to be a lacrosse player... He's harmless..🤣🫡

Truly great restaurant! All of our allergy requests were handled with diligence and care. The staff went above and beyond to ensure each ingredient for what we ordered was allergen free. The food was amazing and the garlic knots are one to try!

Just ordered delivery for the first time, read multiple great reviews on local fb pages. The pizza is fantastic. We also had an antipasto salad and it was delicious.. Delivery was quick and service from the young man on the phone to the lovely delivery driver both top notch.. We have found our new pizza place and couldn’t be happier.. I think next time we will pick it up and have a cold beer while we wait..Thanks Dano’s

Do you want good pizza I mean really good pizza……. This is your spot you can sit in eat a couple of slices watch a ball game or you can take it out and eat it at home. Dano’s does it right my shop is right down the block and I come here every weekend for two slices and a soda. I probably tried pizza at every place in Brevard county. There’s only three places I will go and eat pizza. And Danos is definitely one of them. Keep up the good work guys guys make a delicious pie!!!!!

Who the hell puts provolone on pizza . Absolutely did not like there cheese . Pizza should be mozzarella. Also guy making food cashes you out as well did not wash hands at all whole time we were there. Went right back to prepared food Other than that ok

Yes it is that good! We had garlic knots and a pizza with sausage and pepperoni. Both were excellent. They like to use a lot of garlic even on the pizza... It gives the pizza extra kick which tasted very good. The owner seems to take a good interest in the place and appears very friendly. We will be back regularly!

I order from them every week. As far as I know, the produce is delivered daily, and they chop all of it themselves so that all of their ingredients are fresh. You can honestly taste the difference. Their food is excellent. I had never had something there that I did not like. When I'm going to a party and I need to bring something, I often order a large pan of garlic knots from Dano's and the knots are always really popular. I can always rely on them for really good food. It's a family owned and operated business and everyone working there is friendly and helpful . My family and I look forward to Dano's night every week.

Pizza - Super soggy, doughy, and lacking in overall flavor..no crisp when we asked for extra crispy. Maybe this is what New Jersey style means? Overpriced - It's a NO for Dano's, Cheese garlic bread with pepperoni - was nothing like the pictures, dusted with cheese and barely any pepperoni. The overall portion of that item was good. Second, try, and this seems consistent. We are legitimately disappointed. that's a review.

Quoted an hour for delivery, they were here sooner. Pizza was super hot and tasted amazing! This was a recommendation from a local and I would also recommend to anyone. Eating it reheated right now and it still tastes great!

Moved to IHB almost a year ago and of course first order of business is finding our pizza place. Danos was the first one and we were blown away. Pizza is perfection. Now…making sure we are doing the most accurate service in recommendations, we did try around a few other pizza places on occasion and the same result every. single. time. It’s good but it’s no Danos. Pizza quality is as good as it gets but a few other mentions; they always answer when I call which seems like a DUH but you know you have been in that situation when you call a place and it just rings and rings. I always carry out and I love every time I’m in there; even for those few moments I grab my order and pay, I always feel like I’m part of the family. I’m greeted right away with friendliness and familiarity. Everything is always ready when they say; it’s just a great all around experience. If you’re visiting the area or living the dream on the daily, this is your spot. Lunch or dinner, it’s Danos!

Ordered pizza 🍕 for delivery, person that answered phone said it was 18.95 plus tip. Driver got to our s house said pizza was 29.95$ . Called back the restaurant, they said it was a specialty pizza! Half cheese/ half tomatoes and white cheese? They started yelling at me and refused to refund our money 💰. Never should of paid for it in the first place. Crook’s! Look up who owned it before! Mmmmmmm

Great pizza beachside good delivery

We met the owners while we were sitting at the bar of another restaurant. We started chatting told them we would swing by if we got over that way. It's just a little hole-in-the wall pizzeria with pastas and subs, but it's delish! The sauce was sweeter than I'm used to, but it was good! Reminded me of the grinder places I used to eat at when I lived in Massachusetts. My favorites were the Baked Ziti with Meatballs, meatball sub, and Greek salad with house vinaigrette.

This place is awesome! We ordered pizza while we were doing laundry next door and it was so good we ordered another one before we left! The pizza is on point. The service is on point. If you haven’t been you definitely need to!

If I could give zero stars for customer service I would. We used pizza delivery for the first time through Danos, and when the delivery driver came to drop off, he handed my husband the receipt, snatched the pen out his hand and left without giving my husband an opportunity to tip him. My husband drove to the establishment to drop off the tip and let them know of the incident to where one of the employees began to raise his voice and tell him that the man is his step father and that my husband shouldn’t complain about him. He continued to say that the incident didn’t happen, however my husband drove all the way just to drop off a tip and let them know about the rude delivery driver and additionally about a salad we received the last time we ordered that had a piece of plastic in it. I am so disappointed that this family owned business would treat us this way after we gave them so much praise .

Born and raised in NY spent my childhood eating some of the best pizza there is. I’ve lived in Florida for 4 years now and this is the best slice you can get! Pizza was cooked within 10 minutes! The staff is amazing.

Drove by while looking at Christmas lights and decided to swing in. This was probably the best decision that we made for a quick dinner. Pizza was good, calzone was one of the best I have had since leaving NY and the Zepploes were perfect!!! Staff was great as well and very personable. Would highly recommend and we will be back even though we live 25 minutes south of them.
