Great food, great service and the place looks and feels amazing with the atmosphere and decor. Different sections and styles of seating to choose from, pool tables to have a crack at and food portions are good!

Definitely NOT SAFE FOR WOMEN. For how shady and uncomfortable the people who work at the bar here. I don’t trust any of their drinks and when I asked for their cocktails the guy said they only had mixer for one of the cocktails? Then it made my girlfriends and I feel weird after. We also ended up throwing up whatever it was they had given us.

GIRLS do not come here!! The bartenders/bouncers are in on something weird. Two of my gfs have a video of them giving them a drink (they didn't ask for) and then later asking them to come home with them. Aside from this I know over 4 girls that have had similar shady experiences here. BE CAREFUL.

Can’t say for sure but I left this place feeling very weird and out of it. I had two drinks here and I have never felt more out of it (if you understand what I’m saying….) I woke up feeling panic and scared not remembering anything that happened here. I wasn’t able to walk or even speak after leave this place. Girls please be careful when drinking out. Especially here. The guy making the drinks said he didn’t make any of the other mixed drinks but one. That should have been the first sign but I ignored it.

You would think going to an "Authentic Irish Pub" I would get traditional Corned Beef and Cabbage on St. Patty's Day. Their Beef and Cabbage... wasn't Corned Beef and Cabage. It was Corned Beef smothered in Parsley Gravy (Menu says sauce). The Gravy was water, flour and grass clippings. I was pissed as it has been my tradition for almost 40 years to have it on St. Patty's Day. I often make it my self when in town. I often used to go to San Francisco's Irish Pubs as well. After calming down, I decided to try it. That was a mistake. Had my wife try it. She spit it out and said "Flour and water." Also, their cabbage was very mildly spiced (bland) and the mashed potatoes... nothing. Just potatoes. If they put butter or salt or anything... we couldn't tell. It's ok if they want to sell their version. Just don't market it as Corned Beef and Cabbage. The menu should have said "Corned Beef and Parsley Gravy." I would have been happy because I wouldn't have ordered it. Tax, tip and meal, $30. Ended up in the trash. I go to Dargan's 10 times a year. Look forward to their Guiness Pot Pie. So I gave the review 3 Stars.

Hey if you want to shoot pool, watch British Premier League soccer games at 8am and have some shepherds pie to boot, then this is the place for you. Has that woody old tavern feeling....you notice right from the start. Their are only a couple of places to watch early soccer games in SB, I think the other is the press room. Keep this place on your radar, its a good find.

I've been to Dargan's many times over many years and their quality never fails. It's always a pleasure to eat snd drink there, and they are one of the very few places in SB County that can do a proper black and tan!

10/04/2021 I stopped in for some wings and a coke. A pound of Buffalo wings, celery and ranch dressing was $13. A coke (refills included) was $3.50. The wings came out super fast. So I did not wait long for my food. The restaurant and pub area is kept exceptionally clean. The restrooms were very clean and tidy as well. There is dining indoors and outdoors as well as bar seating. There was a fire lit in the fireplace that added ambiance. And you can also play pool here. There is a Happy Hour menu M-F 3-6pm.
