While visiting USA for Grand Canyon on Aug.18,2024,we stayed overnight at Flagstaff. As all Restaurants were closed we called Delhi Palace and the attendant was very friendly and assured us to wait for pick up after 9:45 pm. We ordered for Pickup Butter Chicken, Daal Maharani , Chicken Biryani, Naan and Roti. The food was delicious.

Always closes before time mentioned on google. Happened multiple times.

Amazing food and service. Especially Dinesh bhia was very nice.

Food is below average, service is bad, I really question any positive feedback about this place!!

Great Indian food, must try in Flagstaff.

A must if you like Indian food. You will be happy as soon as you open the door and let your olfactory system drink in the incredible aromas. Excellent service and always smiling and happy staff. Best Indian food in AZ, based on our experience throughout the valley. You can get it as spicey as you like for those who like to sweat. Serving portions are family style so easy if on a budget to split and walk out full and not break the bank.

BEST INDIAN FOOD I’ve ever had! Incredible flavors! We had the chicken masala and coconut lamb dish. Both had incredible flavors. Service was fast and attentive even with a full restaurant and take out orders being picked up. Food came out fast and hot. Atmosphere inside is okay, and could be better, but the food makes up for it! My only complaint would be the variety of spices sauces available. They only have one hot sauce option to add heat to the dish. I would have liked a hot sauce/spice rack with various wet and dry methods of adding spice to the dish. I like a lot of spice and they seemed to fall a little short on the heat for me. Otherwise, loved the food and will be back for sure!

Wow!!! Such a great experience. Haven't been here and years until tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was great and food was delicious and tastes fresh. We ordered garlic naan, chicken tikki masala, vegetable masala and it came with rice. Was so delicious! Will definitely go back again especially for the low price under $40 for 2!

The tandoori chicken had an excessive amount of food coloring, and I believe the chicken was not fresh. We only consumed a single piece of the tandoori chicken.

The food is SO GOOD. Lamb korma and naan my go to. Any of the korma dishes are good. The staff are efficient and pleasant. Food is always made to order. Sometimes there’s a bit of wait for food, but a side dish is served for free while you wait. They have a decently sized drink menu and I would recommend trying out one of the Indian beers

Tried this place on my trip to Flagstaff. We were served complimentary papad and green chutney. We then had pakoras for our appetizer. For main course we had chicken curry and Chana Masala. The food was decent. The ambiance is old and nothing great though the restaurant is spacious. The service was ok. The restaurant is owned by Himalayan people. The food is not exactly North Indian in taste however decent to try it for once or couple of times. There is plenty of parking as it’s located inside a plaza.

Another very good, tasty indian food restaurants. Must go to place if you are craving for indian food in the way to grand canyon. The hospitality is also awesome 👌

Indian was not what we expected to eat in Flag, but the restaurant was close and we gave it a try…excellent. Great flavors.

Stopped here for lunch. We tried the veggie pakoda, chana masala and paneer tikka (dry). Everything was tasty.

A well rounded Indian place with hearty food, attentive waiters, good selections of drinks, and nice seating for conversations. The naan is phenomenal - must have. A bit crowded but comfortable due to the large space. Classic.

My husband and I were spending the weekend in Flagstaff and decided to try this restaurant. From the moment you pull in to the plaza you can smell the food. We walked in and it was bustling, we signed in. There was a bit of the wait but in my opinion well worth it. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. We ordered the Assorted Snacks appetizer, I loved the chicken pakora. We also tried the Tandoori dinner Complete Dinner which I highly recommend as it offers variety for a fair price, especially for two people - we had leftovers. I was also a huge fan of the Indian tea and Mango Lasso beverages. We ended the meal on a high note with desserts Kheer and Gulab Jamun which were very flavorful. Throughout the meal the staff refilled our waters, checked in often and helped make a birthday celebration extra special. I can't wait to return and highly recommend this restaurant to others. ✨

This place is great! I’ve gotten take out a few times and sat down to eat, the food is always good, prices are reasonable, and service is friendly yet professional and very attentive. You wouldn’t expect Indian food in a place like Flagstaff to be authentic and delicious but this place most definitely is!

It was simply the BEST Indian cuisine we have ever ate. We love Indian food, but this was FANTASTIC. The Chicken Tikka Masala was amazing and the Shrimp Korma was one of the best things I've ever ate. Also, the service and the waiters are lovely. Highly recommended!! Greetings from Brazil.

Ordered Paneer Masala and Dal Maharani. The Dal was pretty great. But the Paneer Masala was very average. Couldn't finish eating the extra red gravy of the Paneer Masala.

Delhi has been my go to for the 4 years I have lived in Flagstaff. The service at this restaurant is amazing, the staff are so kind and accommodating. The food is beyond delicious, I have tried many items on the menu and not a single one has been bad. I recommend this place to all my friends and family because I think that everyone should come here at least once. 10/10 service and food, I cannot praise Delhi and its staff more.

Everything about this restaurant exceeded my expectations. The food was amazing and flavorful. The portions are very generous. The service was top of the line, they are very attentive to all of your needs. I don't post reviews often but this place was the exception.

Dinesh (he acts like a supervisor) is the most annoying staff there. He is very rude and does not know how to treat or handle customers. He is an absolute JERK. I hope the owner takes note of this.

This place has the best Indian food I’ve ever had in my life. I could eat here every day for the rest of my life and love it. The service is impeccable, they constantly fill your water and are genuinely amazing at bringing your food quickly! This place is da bomb and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone!

Delicious Indian restaurant. Everyone was so kind and the food was great. The tandoori chicken was a little overcooked and dry, but the chicken tikka masala and lamb curry were among the best we’ve had.

During our trip back from the Grand Canyon, we were craving Indian cuisine but couldn't find any open restaurants nearby. Fortunately, we discovered this restaurant. Although they were about to close, we called ahead and spoke with Hari, who kindly accepted our take-out order. Hari's exceptional service and friendly demeanor made a lasting impression. He not only accommodated our late request but also took the time to suggest some delicious dishes. The food was fantastic, with rich flavors and authentic taste. We highly recommend Restaurant for their excellent service and delectable Indian cuisine. Thank you, Hari, for turning our evening into a delightful experience!

Food was delicious and customer service was EXCELLENT.

We were a group of four and ordered just the main course and had to wait for 40 minute wait to receive the food. It was frustrating as the waiters were not very responsive when we asked the reason for such a long wait, they tried to avoid us. We waited thinking at least food would be tasty but it is not authentic to Indian cuisine. They won’t provide computerized bill. The ambience was good.

You should make reservations on weekends or holidays. Very busy, but food was so so ,

Food is good, and service is good too. Restrooms could have been kept cleaner. Some food items were oily. Over all good indian food in neighborhood. Has options for drinks as well.

This is an honest review of a person who has had abundant amount of Indian food growing up from all over the world. This place seems to serve American style Indian food. It is evident from the taste and spices they have used. If you are coming here to eat authentic Indian food, this isn't the place. You probably won't find that in Flagstaff or even in AZ. We ordered Rice, naan, Saag Paneer and Butter chicken. I would say the quantity is enough for 3 people. They don't skimp on chicken or Panee, that is a plus. Naan felt like it was store bought and frozen. super doughy. I do not recommend their naan at all! Service is good if you are not brown. Our server was nice but had a hard time explaining things in English. The food took a LONG time to come even though we went around 5pm. The place seems to fill up pretty quickly on weekends. Overall I give this place a solid 3/5

Stopped here for dinner with family and friends. Our decision was based on other reviews and we couldn't be any happier. All the dishes we ordered were delicious and the portion size and prices were reasonable. I would recommend this place over and over again. Will definitely be eating here again when in the area.

If I could give this 10 STARS I would! We had frequented Delhi Palace pre-covid & LOVED their buffet. We went back last night for the first time & had their dinner service (not currently offering buffet) WE WERE SO PLEASED!!!! The food was fresh and tasted amazing, portions were great- even brought leftovers home! And the prices- we haven't spend such a SMALL amount on dinner in years! I cannot recommend this place enough! Go, now & often- we will be!

My husband and I have been to Delhi Palace numerous times. If we are ever in Flagstaff (live in Phoenix) we try to go here. The service is outstanding, and the food is exceptional.

Excellent food and excellent service. We were seated quickly and waiter came quickly to take our order and the food arrived quickly. They were 70% full on a Sunday. We ordered vegetarian items. All were very good. Btw the restroom was also very clean. .

Because of the spices you use or the spice sauce ratio is what makes it edible!!!!! The meat is terrible. Your sauce is your savior. Where in the world any restaurant serve lamb meat as kofte!!??!! Nowhere no restaurant! Chicken comes with bone!!!! Where? The most expensive dish with a drumstick!!!! Extremely funny!!! Or call it terrible. Chicken meat was stinking! It was not fresh! Do not serve left overs! I tried and never again! You won't lose nothing but believe me Chick-fil-A is even way better. Because you see what you eat? Your dark atmosphere and your spices help you to save the day. People have no idea if they get the best dish. $25 worth dish is the worst!!!! Please do something about it. Stinky chicken with terrible lamb as a köfte))))) unbelievable. I haven't tried other dishes and I won't just because of today's experience. I know indian food and this was by far the worst experience. I am not asking people not to go here but do not eat that most expensive dish or anything with lamb! Chicken (white meat,breast) might be ok but the rest!!!! Be careful what you serve to people. They might not know what they are eating but you have people out there they know what you really serve!!!! Thank you for your nice service but nothing for your terrible MEAT QUALITY!!! TERRIBLE! I hope you will realize what you are serving and take action!

In town on vacation. Discovered Delhi Palace in this cute strip mall. The service top notch. The food was delicious Lamb vindaloo & Tikka Masala were so flavorful. Would definitely dine here again when in town.

I live in Mesa, and I so wish there was an Indian Food restaurant that tastes this good down in the valley. By far the best Chicken Tikka Masala I’ve had, and their naan isn’t hard like other places I’ve been to. My most recent visit, they even gave me rice pudding on the house. It was a nice surprise!

We found this place while visiting Flagstaff. Service was quick and excellent, food was fresh and very tasty. We had the vegetable samosas for appetizer, chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Korma for entrees with rice and garlic naan. Everything was delicious! Would definitely recommend this place.

Had a good dinner with family here. Food was good. We first tried this restaurant 25 years ago when we first visited Grand Canyon. Now we visited it with our kids and I'm impressed to see that the quality of food remained the same. Bathrooms can be cleaner.

Excellent food. Very busy. We had to wait for a table but it was worth it. Close to the Springhill suites hotel where we stayed.

Immaculate desi vibes. Food was delicious- spot on flavors. We ordered the chicken korma and aloo mattar with tandoori roti and garlic naan. Music was perfect (blend of old school with instrumental covers). Service was impeccable - the staff was on top of everything. Water refills, bill, cleaning up etc. Dim orange mood lighting. Tea could be better, but desis never agree on that anyway.

This place has some of the best Indian food I have ever had in my life. The tikka masala is absolutely to die for and the mango juice is amazing. I will always come here when I visit Flagstaff! Highly recommend!

I’m a snow bird and stop in Flagstaff coming and going. This is my go to place to eat and I usually can’t wait to get there! . The food is excellent, the service top notch and VERY reasonably priced. The only problem I have with it is now I have to decide what’s getting kicked out of my cooler to make space for my leftovers! No way they’re getting left in my room either!!!

Ridiculous service. Front staff asks a customer before me “Go to a McDonalds since we don’t have tables here and you’ll get your food faster.” And this wasnt a one off example since we observed 3 groups being told off by the host and hostess. If you’re running an Indian restaurant, bloody well learn to hire front staff who can be polite to guests. Else there’s always McDonalds with open staffing :)

The website has the completely correct information and it took us insanely long to get the correct pricing from the place. Could not hear anybody over the phone, and weren't willing to help in the moment until pressed. instead offered to call back because they were too busy.

Best Indian food I ate in my life! The Chicken Mandrasi and Bengan Bharta were exceptional. The mango lassi was also really good.

We ended up at this Indian restaurant when we were traveling through flagstaff. The place seems very popular as it was full even at 5:30 pm. We had to wait 20 mins to get the table and then 30+ mins to get the main course. I think it’s better to visit this place after 7:30 😁 We ordered onion bhajji, paneer masala, paneer korma, butter naans, garlic naan, chilli naan. Food was good but service was very slow probably due to the rush hour. Quantity - fair Taste - Good Quality - Good Service - Slow

Went to the restaurant, thinking It will be a great Indian food, but was nothing close to as expected Ordered biryani it tasted like it was cooked a week ago and grill items had no taste at all. Would not recommend at all to go to this restaurant. portions were more than enough maybe because it was Sunday night and they are closed Monday. We did not eat even eat, but paid and left

Anyone interested in visiting this place, please read the below review/experience as it will help you be prepared for what you could encounter. It was an ABSOLUTE UNFORGETTABLE DISASTROUS experience. We were visiting flagstaff from Dallas and was craving for some Indian food. We were a party of 16 and underrstandably we had to wait. The table was setup for all of us and was happy about that. The good experience ended there as soon as our arrogant waiter came to take our orders. We felt this place treats Indians different from non-indians. Our arrogant waiter was so rude and not helpful in suggesting or even patient to take orders. He was snapping and almost yelling out. At the end of taking the order, he was yelling out all the items that we ordered to make sure he got all the order which the entire restaurant could hear. I was planning on ordering drinks but no one came back after giving us our 1st glass of water (not even refills). The food arrived in batches (again understandable due to large group). But when I asked about one of the items he said it is getting ready and when he brought it to our table, he was yelling out that this is the last item of our order. It did not stop there. When we were ready to pay, he came out with the bill and yelled out that if we pay cash then there is a discount. None of us asked for any discount and we were not interested in any discount. It is illegal to give discount for paying cash as it avoids them to pay tax on it. He was yelling out that it is a great offer which, I am sure, the entire restaurant heard. He kept yelling repeatedly that it is the final offer. I did not want to make a scene right there as the restaurant was crowded. We were so EMBARRASSED as he made it look like we were there to eat free food or not interested in paying. He was so arrogant and very disrespectful which every adult in our table were dumbfounded with this experience. He was acting like he was too smart and we will not understand what he is saying. We had been in this country lot longer than he has. This was an ABSOLUTE DISASTROUS EXPERIENCE. We have been traveling as a group to many places and visited many Indian restaurants and this was by far the worst experience we had. It is a disgrace to call it a Indian restaurant and disrespect Indian customers like this. They may be the only Indian restaurant around here and prefer to cater to non-indians but they cannot treat paying customers in such a disgraceful way especially this arrogant waiter. I did not get his name but you can recognize him as he will act too smart and use "holistic" repeatedly even when it doesn't make sense. I did complain to one of the guys who looked like the manager of the place while paying for the bill with CREDIT CARD and NOT CASH as we were never interested in any freaking discount. The manager seem to agree that sometimes this guy acts like that and he apologized. I told him that I would have excused if it was one disrespectful act as he might have had a bad day. But continously acting out and treating paying customers like this is NEVER acceptable. If they don't talk to him and make changes, they will lose customers mostly indian customers.

Went for an early dinner around 5:30 and the place was already packed with customers. We had to wait almost 40 minutes for our food to arrive, and my husband complained, but the manager politely asked us to wait a little longer as they were very busy today and promised us to serving good quality of food. My vegetable masala was so delicious and creamy! and the portions were large . I 've never satisfied with authentic Indian restaurant here in AZ, however, we are very satisfied with the food and the customer service of Delhi Palace Cuisine of India . We'll be back here again when we visit to Flagstaff in the summer.

The place was packed at 6pm on Saturday night, but being a solo diner they found a spot for me right away. In a very busy restaurant, I expect The Long Wait to commence at this point. Nope! As soon as I set my menu down the waiter was along to take my order. My adult beverage arrived faster than expected considering the full house. My entree likewise. I had the tandoori combo, which is not only tandoori. It’s enough food to feed two (or more). LEFTOVERS (and crazy affordable)! The meal was delicious and the service far better than expected on a Saturday night in a crowded restaurant as a solo diner. I think this is the first time I’ve been able to praise the service as highly as the food in an Indian restaurant. Treat yourself to Delhi Palace!

Business dinner - 4 of us - server was new and overwhelmed and forgot a few things but he tried very hard and was very polite and pleasant. Food however was FANTASTIC all around.
