My mom and I tried the lunch buffet today. Everything we tried (except the mixed pickles we didn't like) had a really good flavor. If you dont like spicy just be prepared it may be too spicy to some. I usually get all my indian food as mild as they can make it but everything on the buffet seemed to be at a 2 or 3 spice level. Which for me was way spicier than I like but the flavor of everything was delicious.

My wife and I stopped in about 8pm on a Sunday. Restaurant was almost completely empty, but the server and owner were amazing. The goat biryani and chicken korma were fantastic. Extremely tender meats that had been seasoned wonderfully. The peshwari naan was unique compared to many places I've tried, not full of nutty fillers but with a nice, bright fruit flavor that my wife and I both enjoyed. Will definitely be back.

The food is sloppy, dry, and not fresh. Naan bread was burnt, other than only having 3 pieces available. Ran out of tea and the waiter/hostess/busboy looked like he rolled out his bed and decided to go serve at a restaurant. Absolutely zero standards.

I love Indian buffets due to the fact I can try new items without buying a whole plate. The buffet was not huge for lunch but there was plenty to choose from. Flavor of food was good overall . Waiter was pleasant and kept my table clear and glass full. Over all not my favorite but not the worst for sure.

Apart from Tandoori chicken, naan and one desert all were stale. Okra was so smudged like cooked 3-4 days ago. Terrible soup, salad was a joke. Waste of Money. I wish google would have made a zero star option too.

The food is full of flavor and they have great service that helps with the menu. This establishment is very authentic and I just love the culture. I usually get different types of curry with the rice along with the mango lassie drink.

I have been going to this restaurant for over 5 years and is the only option when I am craving Indian cuisine! I am from up North and have to say it has been very hard to find GOOD authentic food that is not traditionally southern, since I moved here. However, this place does not/will not disappoint. The flavor, spices and care that goes into making this food is commendable. I know good food and consider myself a "foodie" and anyone who says the food is bland, must not have taste buds! Luv this place and was so happy they brought back the buffet on Sat evenings! The Chef, who is the owner, comes to your table and asks how everything was and I can always say, "delicious", that shows that he actually cares about his customers experience and is not just about the money as a few other posters claimed!

The dinner buffet has returned. All of your prayers of delicious Indian gluttony have been heard. The only Indian dinner buffet in Columbia. Delicious. Eat it and smile.

Good Indian food. Interior was very clean and neat. I got there right as they opened up and they had the buffet still getting ready. Food was hot and fresh. More people who did take out but that's not a bad thing. Will definitely be back for lunch. Staff was friendly. Good ambient music.

I was eating the chicken biryani and there was near a foot long hair in it and part of this filthy thing had made it into my mouth. No, resolution was given, I only received some vague apology if that’s what they want to call it. Seriously, it was right at a foot long. I was disgusted by it. I never thought that their service was strong at all, but they failed miserably here as they charged me full price for the meal without any hesitation. I guess they charged me for the hair too.

If you order from Uber eats make sure you ask for eating utensils!! I picked up an order and asked for plastic ware and he said "did they ask for it in the order?" And refused to give me any for the customer. He was very rude. This also turned me off from wanting to eat there.

We went there as a family for the first time with great expectation. Oh my gosh!! We were all sick to our stomach after eating there. Food was horrible. Whoever made that food didn’t cook it with passion. We felt like they didn’t care about anything else but money. It didn’t have any taste. Everything was bland and tasteless. Just wasted Money. I won’t recommend anyone to this restaurant, such a great disappointment.

If you definitely want to eat the curry-flavored buffet, then lunch is a great option! Note that buffet is only open at noon. Their chicken curry is very good, whether it is hot or not, it is delicious! There's still a bun to eat! I highly recommend it. My lunch bill and tip came to $20.

Great food, great service, clean and friendly! What a great place. I looked for Indian food with good reviews. They did not disappoint. Walked in, sat down, ordered, served, ate (burped… excuse me), paid and left. Perfect! Also had some friendly conversation with the server. Real nice guy. Anyway, come eat this food! I had the Chicken Tikka Marsala and Garlic Nan. Wow! Good! I like my food spicy hot. When they asked how hot I want it, I was tempted to say extra hot. The server was right to guide me to “medium”. Worst paneer ever had. We ordered paneer makahni and Vegetable jalfrazi and gobi Manchurian. But didn't enjoy any dish.

As a down home southern family living in a small town in the middle of no where, we don't have the option of Indian food much. This place was pleasantly surprising. Me and my father had the lunch buffet which consisted of more vegetable dishes that I personally am use too. My grandmother who doesn't like anything new, had the tandoori chick and like it. Service was quick with drinks but expected everyone to eat the buffet, and though not overtly friendly, was very helpful with any question we had. Reading some reviews saying the food was cheap I think comes from the fact that there was many vegetable dishes and not pack with just meat and potato style food. All in all loved this place with the tiki Marsha chicken being my personal favorite

It was interesting that the condiment set for dipping your naan was an extra cost. Overall the food was delicious. Had the naan sampler, chicken tikka masala and lamb madras.

A menu of several elaborate and exquisite casseroles, supplied with an also diverse arrays of breads and desserts for the buffet option at brunch. Dinner option is still quite good. This cuisine is like the very opposite of just pizzas, burgers and steaks. The decoration is good too. Despite having great and unique food it doesn't draw too many people, so it's also a great restaurants to avoid the regular crowds in regular restaurants.

The food was pretty good, but the guy up front had an attitude last time a year ago and when we come back I almost forgot about it, but was then reminded he was same rude guy up front. The owner walked around smiling and welcoming guest. Really wish the waiter would be more accommodating and not snippy with folks to make this experience a little more welcoming.

My first time Visiting. I had the extra spicy Curry Goat. The meal was outstanding. It reminded me of eating in Thailand back in my Army days.

10 years ago I tried Indian food for the first time at Delhi Palace and was hooked! I have fond memories of eating here with my now husband who has also grown to love Indian food. Thank you, Delhi Palace!

I went to this restaurant twice. On my first visit, I did takeout and the food was delicious. On my second visit, I eat the buffet. I suggest ordering to go. The buffet was underwhelming. The naan was good, the samosa was good but some of the other items were underwhelming. Order out dont go to the buffet.

We love Indian food and especially love Indian food that has traditional spices that are spicyyyy! We opted for the lunch buffet, not for portion, but for the ability to try everything we please. They had an abundance of items and everything tasted flavorful and temperature hot. The chicken Tikka masala was spicy and delicious! They had traditional curries as well as a variety of other dishes (eggplant masala, stewed vegetables, potato cakes, etc). The naan was as usual, but my only complaint with that is I do love garlic herb naan and this was just plain. Not that it was bad, I just prefer herb naan. The tamarind and mint sauce were delicious. The rice pudding was the right touch for the finish. It was $16 per person which really was not bad given assortment. I would choose to eat here again if in town.

Five stars!! BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT IN COLOMBIA! This restaurant overall was incredible! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the owner was delightful! We had a question about a dish from India and he walked us over to his separate store to try and figure out if he had what we were talking about. How nice! The food we ordered… PERFECTION! I ordered the chicken masala and it is the best I’ve ever had. My boyfriend ordered the lamb curry and he says it was delicious and cooked perfectly. Both proteins were so tender! Oh and the naan! So good! 🤤

It's difficult to find vegetarian-friendly restaurants in Columbia, so I highly recommend this place to others in the area. Only request is to please add spice-level to the online-order system (LOVE incredibly spicy food, the spicier the better). Overall, the food was great and the service was exceptional.

This was (hands down) one of the BEST BUFFETS we have been to!!! Excellent, fresh food. Caters to those who love meat, vegetarians, and those who like a little spice!!! Please try their buffet - we drove an hour for this and will do it again!!!

My husband and I started eating at a different Indian restaurant years ago and recently rediscovered this great spot. Mistakes we made, this should have never left our rotation! They have the absolute best samosas and naan in town! Their naan is perfectly charred and still beautifully fluffy. Their samosas are crispy with wonderful fillings; lamb or potatoes with peas. They are great alone or with the various chutneys. The dinner for 2 is our favorite thing to get. It's like your very own personal buffet! Appetizers, 2 curries, tandoori chicken, chutneys, naan, dessert and coffee or tea. If you haven't been, GO!

Ate here for dinner and ordered entrees. We got the medium chicken vindaloo, chili naan, and kadhi lamb, be careful, the hot is HOT. If you like spicy, go for medium. This was my first time eating Indian food, and I ate so much I hurt! It was delicious! Staff was friendly and explained any questions I had. I will definitely be back.

I really only write reviews of places if they can get five stars. Which, Delhi palace does. There are not really many other Indian buffets around, but this one sticks out the most. It's maybe four or five entree choices, pans of tandoori chicken, some of the best naan out there, and samosas and fritters and salad fixings on the main bar. two or so dessert selections. Good variety without being overwhelming. Everything is flavorful, but if you want really spicy you should order the dish separate. They do have great menu options! They don't always have paneer based dishes out so when I'm in the mood for paneer, I'll order (sometimes there is saag but I do love palak and never see it out.) There lassi has the perfect mixture of sweet and sour as well. It does feel a little cramped, especially around the buffet. But lots of seating selection otherwise While you're there, hit up the grocery store right next to it for ingredients for Indian cuisine at home! Super good prices on basics and so much tea to choose from.

The food is delicious. Our server was very professional and helpful. The dinner for two is more than enough food for two people! We even had food to take home! The chai was a good flavor, nice and the right amount of spice. Looking forward to going back!

Utterly underwhelming. Twice I’ve been here, once for a meal and another for the buffet. The pictures online are a lie. The food looks nothing like them. And the taste is bland and resembles a mindset that cares more about saving money than the quality of the food. Cut corners with ingredients and frozen produce being warmed up rather then made from scratch. The price does not reflect the quality, if you are looking for a good, well prepared Indian food then don’t come here. I will not be returning here unless there has been a radical change in the quality of the food.

I've been coming here since 2015 and always enjoyed it. A friend and myself have eaten here a good bit over the last year but last time we were in there the owner came up to the table while I was getting another plate and asked "how much are you going to eat?". I had three plates with small amounts of everything, this was while getting my third. Second issue. My friend and me have been there many times and we always pay separate. So during this same visit the man rings us up as one ticket. Then proceeds to grief me because "if you want to pay separate your going to wait." He makes a big stink about it and carries on until a young woman steps in to help. I still like the place, enjoy their food, always tip, but will not go back due to the attitude.

Not a huge selection on the buffet but what was there was good. The spice level was just enough to let you know it was there but not enough to burn you. I will go Again

I love this place they have great food but the problem is they say that they close at 3:00 but they really close at 2:30 just a heads up it's frustrating walking into a business that's open for 30 more minutes and not being able to get food

All buffets have taken a hit in customers and therefore in variety of offerings. But Delhi Palace still has a great selection of stuff, all the bases are covered and there's always one or two special things. I loved the okra last time. I'm going again soon.

I've taken my family there twice now, trying to give it a second chance. Both visits were about a month apart and on different days of the week. Unfortunately, the service here was next to non existent. My wife ended up just getting a jar of water to pour for us after about 15 minutes of waiting. There was only one server who said their dishwasher called out, but even the first time we went it seemed as if the server was really stressed out. I've never walked in to a restaurant paying $16/person and felt like they didn't want me there. They didn't give us napkins, the buffet was minimal (no naan, chicken or rice when we got there) and we were told that they wouldn't put any more desserts out even though they were about gone. It's just not worth the money, I recommend trying somewhere else.

Went for buffet had over 6 different dishes food was pretty good waiter and owner check to make sure everyone was good in the restaurant just was missing the shrimp, samosa and medu vada however I will be returning!

Me and my family used to go here all the time but with everything we hadn't been in almost a year. Remembering how good the food was and the service i was confused when i came in and said i was a party of 8 the hostess made a face of annoyance. Not letting that bother me we sat down started placing our order and the guy proceeded to say oh wow ur ordering all this food just for you thats a lot everyone was stunned. The guy was very rude to everyone kept on reminding us when the place closed wont go back

Ordered "Keema Mater" and "Assorted Bread Basket." Keema Mater is supposed to be ground lamb.... what I received today was NOT lamb! I ordered from here due to several past postive experiences of deliousness, however, this was the worst! Co-worker enjoyed, however, it was his first time having the dish and he didn't have expectations. When I called restaurant to make sure I was given ground lamb, he reassured me it was and stated, "maybe they added more spices." I still should taste lamb, despite the "extra spices." Will not patronage this restaurant again. I have no idea what "meat" that was we consumed!!!! So disappointed. Customer.....You've been warned.

Delhi Palace is one of my favorite restaurants in Columbia, and honestly I could easily eat here once a week or more if I lived closer. Every single thing I have tried on the menu has been delicious. Normally I am the kind of person who finds one thing on a menu that I like and I just order it over and over, but with Delhi, I find myself wanting to try EVERYTHING because it's all so good. I haven't made it to once of their buffets yet, but it's on my to-do list because I imagine it's phenomenal. Service is also always superb, and the atmosphere is very nice, perfect for dinner dates.

Our food seemed like it was reheated off of a buffet. The Tandoori Mix Grill had some overcooked meat that we didn't want to touch. The Onion Bhaji was supposed to be a whole onion and it was a 1/3! Not excited for this food unless we go to get the freshly cooked lunch buffet. Buffets should be thrown away after lunch . Fresh food for dinner is best.

A friend from out of town requested this restaurant and promised that I would love it... and she was right! I love flavors and spices however was afraid of the level being too hot for my taste. The wait staff were very helpful, the food delicious and we even received a brief education on the hot pepper they do use for spice. Absolutely delicious! Ambiance was perfect to catch up with my friend. Will definitely return!
