Great food and service. We had a wonderful waitress (Courtney).

Best restaurant I've been to in 10 years.

We opted to sit outside to enjoy the weather. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a great meal. I loved the lights trees inside the restaurant. They were very busy, so be a little patient with the service, It gave us more time to relax and had a great time. The truffle fries and cheesy curds were tasty appetizers, and you can't go wrong with the Raspberry Spinach salad.

Came here as a random selection and I was very pleased. We got the spinach and Artichoke dip for an appetizer and it very tasty and a big portion. The meal I got was super good (Philly cheesesteak sandwich with fries) but my wife got the flatbread. The flat bread was out of this world good and very unique. I highly recommend trying this place.

Great place to sit outside and people watch.

We really wanted to like this place. Our server was good, no issues. The space itself is unique (the trees are great). The food, however, falls far short of the menu pictures online and the descriptions. The side salad and fries were good, but that was it from what we ordered. The Caprese Chicken sandwich had tasteless chicken with an odd texture and NO basil, so it basically wasn’t Caprese. Two of our party ordered the Mash Burger which was really disappointing; the burger patties were THICK and over-cooked, no lettuce, and the bun was about twice as large as the patty and fell apart. One of the people that ordered it said it was the worst burger ever at a restaurant (including fast-food burgers). Another person ordered the Philly Cheesesteak; it was a little dry and nothing special. Given the number of good options in Durango, I’d have to suggest going somewhere else if you’re looking for food. We didn’t have any drinks so I can’t comment on those.

The "We're All Mad Here" drink was INCREDIBLE! One of the best drinks that I have ever had, definitely get it. Very cool decor and lights throughout the inside and patio.

Great food, drinks, service, and atmosphere!

My friends and I were in the Durango area for a fishing vacation. We found Derailed and had a great diner. Brian was a fantastic waiter and made some perfect suggestions both with our food and drinks! Make sure you ask about their apple pie shots! Everything we have was delicious down to the amazing brownie sundae!

We celebrated our daughter's birthday. Our party ages ranged from eight years old to 82 years old. Everyone was able to enjoy their meal--including our teenage vegetarian. Tonny was the best waiter ever!! The trees are delightful.

Derailed has a good Happy Hour with good food and drinks. Gets busy, so our service was quite slow. Overall, we enjoyed our stop.

Unfortunately we didn’t get here until our last day in Durango or we would have made multiple visits. Food was excellent and the menu unique, everything with a southwestern flavor. Nachos, poppers,egg rolls were special. Decor also very inviting. Would go again

Gets super busy but the bartender was very nice and attentive! The drinks were great and the cocktail menu was fun! Then inside is gorgeous and vibes are great! Next time I’ll have to try their food too

Last night on July 19 was my granddaughter‘s first time ever been to Darrell and that funny as much as we come to Durango to visit our friends we were there to celebrate a very good friends 70th birthday. His name was Wayne. I want to pay special. thanks to a young man by the name of Grant I met him for the first time last night absolutely loved his winning smile, his great personality and how hard he works to make sure that everyone is comfortable and happy and enjoying their evening there at the rail, we got rained on and had to be brought in was so nice. The food was great. The service was great. Loved the atmosphere. We will be back. We are at Durango quite often to visit a lot of our good friends that live there. We’re just across the border 45 minutes away, but it’s definitely worth the drive again we thank you so very much. We will see you again as always Deb Sanders.

Very eclectic interior with lighted artificial trees and a mix of antiques and modern fixtures. Recommended black and blue burger was very good. Fries on the side were barely warm. Philly cheesesteak quesadilla was very good. They have some good deals on Happy Hour until 6pm.

Meth is a hell of a drug. At least that seamed like what our waiter was working with. Back Patio seating today. Ordered drinks, waited 20 min, waiter brought drinks set them on wait table, proceeded to ramble on to the table next to us and offer the under 21 military persons alcohol on their next visit. We asked about our drinks, he told us to wait that ran around to 5 other tables. We had to go get ourselves Forgot the 2nd round that my family had ordered at same time, waited another 15 min. Waited kept complaining about jow busy it was but most the tables out back were empty. The list goes on… - was never offered water. - rushed us out with checks. - generally poor service and disposition. Avoid this place or at least ask for a new waiter if you get the guy with the chest tattoo that looked like he had been doing hard drugs.

Great Food...highly recommend the tacos! Great service! Tony, our waiter, was attentive, fun and gave EXCELLENT service. The atmosphere was fun and the live music was outstanding. If you want good food, friendly and great service I highly recommend Derailed Pour House.

Very nice set up and attempt to create unique cocktails. The problem is that it does not match the picture. I got O.R.U. Extremely sweet bourbon base mess. Yes smoke bibles are fun, but there’s no taste to match it. Tacos were cold, wings were definitely reheated. So no I do not recommend. Very pretty inside but that’s it.

Really enjoyed my time here. There are a bunch of different seating options for whatever your group needs. The tacos were excellent. The only thing is you've gotta be into an 80's vibe it seems like.

My Cuban pulled pork sandwich was amazing! It was so flavorful, house made bbq sauce, served with fries 😍 my waiter was very kind and attentive. I’m bad with names but he made sure to attend to all his customers in a timely and kind manner. I would highly recommend this place. The restaurant is decorated nicely and well kept.

There’s a reason this is the #1 spot in Durango! Such an amazingly cool atmosphere, great food and great service! Our kids (11 and 13) loved the funny definitions on the wall in the way to the bathroom and pushing the “do not push” button. We made reservations and got one of the cool partially enclosed eating spots with the fun furniture. The good was amazing, and Alec took great care of us! My family all agreed this was a 10/5 experience!

Our first night in Durango we decided to try Derailed since it was ranked number 1. It definitely didn’t disappoint. My husband loved the pulled pork tacos. I got the avocado tacos and they were significantly better than I could have expected. Delicious! Service was good, atmosphere was perfect for the evening, and prices were reasonable.

Beer drafts here are always fantastic bespoke hand picked for the finer pallet. The tacos are fantastic, and my new go to.

This beautifully appointed restaurant in the Historic District of Durango is a must when traveling in, through or around Durango. The dining area is rich, warm and comfortable with its leather and dark wood; the bar oh-so-appealing with its thick, old wood and creative cocktails. The food was fresh and fabulous!! The decor was charming and the old music videos a perfect fit. Top that all off with a very friendly and efficient waitress, and you have an incredible dining experience!!

A good spot for an average meal of bar food. I don't have anything bad to say, but unfortunately this is represented as #1 in Durango. Drinks are great. Fresh cut fries are not. Tomato salad needs better tomatoes. Pot stickers are good. Left wondering if this #1 restaurant was the best Durango had to offer...

Derailed pour house is a MUST when you go to Durango! My friend and I stopped in on a whim and loved the ambiance. There was live music and it was the perfect place for us to take pictures together on our cross country road trip. When you go, ask for Liam, he took great care of us & is a killer bartender :)

I love coming here for the be versatile menu. There’s something for everyone. They also have a unique selection of beer and cocktails. It’s a fun relaxed environment. Cody was our server, super professional and kind.

We had high hopes for this after researching good restaurants in the area. Atmosphere was fantastic….until they isolated us near the windows street side. That took away all of the magic. We were behind a plastic partition so couldn’t see the live music, or enjoy the trees. Service was mediocre. Took about 15 minutes for someone to greet us and provide water. Food was super underwhelming. I had a jalapeño popper burger that was seriously lacking. Cold truffle fries (which I’d be happy to pay the extra for if they were hot) and waaaayyyy too many onions on the loaded fries. The chicken tenders are frozen. Wings were also just ok-served with some really sad carrot sticks and one stick of celery. Food needed help badly. The atmosphere can only carry you so far-IF you get a good seat. Won’t return. There is too much good food in Durango for this place to compete with.

Lack of a kids menu should have been a sign…They definitely didn’t seem to want kids there. Sat us and another family with small kids at a high top tables and brought a standard height high chair, so we had to eat with kiddos in our laps. No kids cups, so had to try and ensure our kids didn’t break the giant glasses. Vibe was super cool and food was great. Just wish they considered families.

We stopped in for dinner around 7. It was packed and had live music. We were seated immediately. Good food and great beers! Service was good just a little slow on a busy Saturday night. We had flatbreads!

This place was awesome! The vibes and atmosphere were amazing! The waiter was so nice and helpful. It was super cold sitting right by the front door. I had to eat with my coat on lol. The cocktail menu is almost overwhelming… almost! We had a few different ones with the recommendation from our waiter and he didn’t disappoint! The appetizers were the best thing we had! The southwest egg rolls were the best we ever had! The cheese curds and cheese fries. The only thing that lacked at this place was the tacos. I tried 2 different ones in a lettuce wrap and my sister had 4 different ones. They did not have the best flavor. My kids ordered a burger and it was just an ok burger. My husband however loved the flatbread pizza he ordered!

We stopped in to Pour House as part of a Friend's 25-year celebration dinner that his work was paying for. Of many options in Durango he chose this and I think it served him and all of us very well. Im a local to Durango, we had 1 other Durango-local, the celebration was for someone from Cortez and a visitor from California. Everyone was Impressed. The first highlight goes to our server: Brian. I want to say if it werent for him having a shift to work we would've wanted him to pull up a seat and enjoy dinner with us. The guy was personable, freindly/relatable, entertaining, attentive, and on top of everything. Pour house has set a good standard from many of my visits there so I tend to think they hire really well-- but even such Brian stood out. Thanks for making that an exceptional night for everyone. Additionally: we ended up spanning a wide variety from the menu. Friends at the table did ask me since I had dined there what I consider to be good. What I've found is Pour House doesnt seem to skimp on anything they choose to add to the kitchen. I've not disappointed by a single thing yet. So across salads, flat breads, burgers, sandwiches, many of the appetizers, desserts, "fancy" cocktails, etc-- there didnt seem to be one thing we weren't all talking about how happy we were with it. So thats a kudos to the kitchen staff as well and the general dedication to a good menu. If you haven't noticed from the photos: the decor is fun here. && the musician from Bar-D wranglers is always a treat on thursday nights (sometimes fridays) if you get a chance to hear him. Another highlight. So yeah. You get it. We had a great time. Its 5 star for a review and that goes across many of my visits. Thanks again to Brian for setting it over the top even more. Cheers.

It was worth the wait in time to get our food. I had been suggested this restaurant by a customer and was glad I stopped by. The atmosphere was great, there were fake trees inside with lights and it was gorgeous. The tables were secluded and had nice chairs to sit on. I noticed an outdoor patio in the back and think I'll sit there next time just to try it out. The menu had a variety of drink options from Alice in wonderland themed to witchy themed all with creative names. I ended up ordering an IPA on tap by the suggestion of the waitress and I was not disappointed. My food ended up coming out before my beer but I had water in the meantime(the menu did warn about the wait for items, so I wasn't too aggravated). I ordered a Buffalo chicken sandwich on a brioche bun and a side of coleslaw which was delicious! Though the items took longer than the normal wait time, the waitress seemed to be on top of her game. Will definitely return for another date night :)

My first visit here was about 3 years ago, I was on a solo trip and stumbled upon the Derailed Pour House solely because of photos I saw in other reviews. It was an amazing experience! The staff were awesome and polite, the food delightful, and the drinks hit just right! Later in the evening the owner came over to say hello and chat about my experience. We visited for several minutes, she really cared about her business and customer's experience. I was left with such a positive impression that I would talk about it regularly to my partner over the years. A few years later, my partner and I planned a trip to Durango and I finally got to introduce him to the Derailed Pour House this past Christmas! The experience was just as I remembered; the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, the live music very pleasant to listen to, and of course the food, drinks, and staff just as amazing as I had remembered. We will certainly be back!

Derailed has become our friends group’s favorite weekly get-together place. Mark and Morgan T are so attentive and thoughtful. We order most of the appetizers and share. The cocktails are delicious and well-presented. We’ll be back next week.

Stumbled upon this place on vacation while walking on Main Street. The vibe here is super unique, interesting and cool. They have a large craft cocktail menu, with house made syrups, flavoring etc. The food and service were also fantastic. We shared the chicken caprese with truffle fries, and the arugula goat cheese flatbread. If you want something other than a run of the mill restaurant, this is your place.

We are in town during an event, so we were lucky to arrive at the perfect time to get a table for our family of five on the heated patio. This restaurant takes a limited number of reservations, and I recommend trying to get one. The heated patio was fine and comfy. Servers were attentive and moved heaters to best keep customers comfy. They have a wide variety of beers and cocktails, and we all chose drinks that were delicious. There are many food items available for many interests, and a good happy hour menu including drinks and food. There are some vegetarian options, and a small number of vegan options. We chose a variety, including a pulled pork sandwich (excellent,) a philly cheese steak quesidilla (excellent,) a bacon cheeseburger (excellent,) and others (all excellent.) Service was outstanding. They were so busy! But we never felt neglected or had to wait for our drinks or food. I recommend making a reservation, but we weren't able to and still had an outstanding meal. Thanks, Pour House!
