We found a gem! Visiting from Arkansas and we are SO happy google showed us Dewey’s. The Edgar Allen Poe and the Don Corleone were amazing. Loved being able to split the pizza in half for variety. Grape and walnut salad may have been my favorite salad, ever. But the highlight was the service. Drinks never empty. Always someone nearby. My two-year-old dropped and shattered the Parmesan shaker and it broke her heart, and the waitresses were so kind to her and us. We hope to visit again someday!

Everything was excellent - EXCEPT - we ordered a large pizza and a small and only ate 3-4 pieces. The waitress said she would box it up. She brought out two smallish boxes - and we brought home and refrigerated them. Ugh. All of the large leftover pizza was stacked on top of each other - with nothing in between the slices. Why would anyone do that? Anyway, a waste of an otherwise delicious pizza.

Love the Harvest Salad with the chunks of fig. And always enjoy spicy Don Corleone and the garlicky Edgar Allen Poe! Plus, it's great that the staff works as a team and anyone will help you, not just your server.

Delicious pizza. Clean and inviting dining area. Prompt staff. My husband and I split a 17" pizza (half Dr. Dre and half Porky Fig). Excellent quality and the prosciutto and caramelized onion on the Porky Fig really made the pizza pie pop. Reasonable pricing. We will definitely be back soon!

Wow, great pizza! Dare I say my favorite in the area. They have thoughtful and delicious pizza. Also don’t sleep on there salads. Yummy, enough said.

Yesterday I decided to try the Dewey’s at Webster for the first time I typically always go for the one in U-city (I love them both equally). When I saw that there was one close by in Webster I decided to get my typical salad order that I get at U city. Im always scared my salad won’t be made correctly just because I add and take things off of it… because I’m picky , sorry. Well that was the least of my worries when I realized the stroller I was using didn’t fit through their door. (it was a big stroller nothing wrong with their door I had a 2 person stroller.) I decided to call them even though I ordered to pick up inside. They answered super nicely and completely understood my situation. But anyways my salad was perfect and delicious the workers there are super sweet I would definitely go to this location again!

Taco pizza very tasty. It would be great if the pizza had a REASONABLE amount of hamberger. Very stingy I would say.

Amazing pizza! My family loves Dewey's. Before out kids went to college it was our regular Friday night meal. Now we have it every time they come home.

Very nice decor with space between tables. We did take out, however. We had the mushroom pizza, which was delicious but really needed many more mushrooms to be really top-notch. The Caesar salad was really awesome. The dressing was pure perfection, and the lettuce was cold & crunchy. A nice option if you do take-out is curbside service.

Pizza was good and the salad's were not as great as in the past. But all in all we enjoyed our dinning experience.

GLUTEN FREE OPTION! Yes they have a GF option and highly recommend for someone just wanting a place to eat and feel comfortable with their choice.

I got caught in St. Louis overnight with a calzone craving. Dewey's Pizza wasn't far from where I was staying, so I gave it a shot. The place was quite busy when I arrived, but I was seated promptly in an inviting atmosphere. I ordered a sausage, pepperoni and mushroom calzone. It arrived fairly quickly considering how busy they were, and the thing was huge. The crust was perfect. It was a great calzone if you were into mushrooms - it was crammed full of them. The sausage and pepperoni, not so much. This is not a place you want to go to if you want to have a quiet conversation. There was a table with a dozen or so teenage girls across from me who spent their time taking photos of each other and screaming with delight and surprise when they passed the phones around. They registered about 90 decibels on my sound meter (and that was just the frequenciesdetectable by the human ear. I'm pretty sure all the dogs in the neighborhood were rendered deaf. I'll give them another shot if I'm stuck in St. Louis with the Calzone Blues again. 02/20/2024 UPDATE I had another unexpected overnight in STL, so this time I took a friend along. When we got there in the early afternoon, I commented that it should be a lot quieter than my last visit where a table of teenieboppers gave my decibel meter a real workout. Only about three or four tables were occupied this time. Unfortunately, several of those were taken with families with screaming toddlers. That's not the fault of the establishment, but the acoustics of the room caused the sounds to amplify and bounce around. When our very nice server showed up, I mentioned that my sausage, pepperoni and mushroom calzone was heavy on mushrooms, but light on meat my last visit. She said she'd take care of it. When she brought my order to the table, she said, "Sausage, pepperoni and light on the mushrooms, right?" That should have been a clue. The calzone WAS light on the mushrooms, but it was still equally light on the meats. I'm going to invoke my two-strike rule and give the place a pass next time. It's highly popular, and the food, what there is of it, is good, but it's not what I was looking for.

Absolutely love Dewey's Pizza! Family atmosphere but also could be date night too! We love sitting at the bar, ordering a drink, watch sports if we want (hunny loves it because we are limited with channels at home) I also like sitting there because I can watch the kitchen. They are talented lol. Their pizza reminds me of my childhood pizzeria so I go for pure comfort sometimes, great restaurant.

Foods good, faves are Dr Dre and the Don Corleone.

Dewey's pizza is great! Definitely give it a try. Service is always good and the general feel of the restaurant is welcoming.

Words cannot express how great the staff is at this location. We ate there the night before my wife was going into a major surgery. Our server, in his friendly way, asked how we were doing and the surgery came up. Several staff, and the manager, visited our table and expressed their hopes the surgery would go well. When the bill came there was no charge for pizza. This was so great that they did this wonderful thing that my wife started crying. Now, I am not suggesting that you try to get a free pizza, but if you want a great pizza and great service, this is the place.

This is a fantastic Pizzeria. We were visiting with family, and any time we go back to St. Louis, we will certainly return for their delicious pizza. The best NY Style I've had outside of NYC. Don't sleep on this place!

My pizza was amazing. I had the Don Corleone. The pepperoni is spicy, but that’s how we like it. The staff was super attentive but not hovering. This restaurant is spotlessly clean. My go to!

Best pizza spot in St. Louis, and that is saying something because I LOVE pizza and I've lived here my whole life. Love the way you can customize their specialty pizzas. The 'za comes out piping hot and delicious. The people are so friendly and accommodating. It's a winner every time!

I shared a pizza with a friend. My half was Edgar Allan Poe. It was scrumptious! It just took awhile for someone to take our order after we were seated. We tried getting SOMEONE’s attention and finally did it. After our order was taken, everything was perfect!

They used fresh ingredients, and the food was good. I thought they had wood oven pizzas. A little over priced.

It was so cold in the restaurant that we couldn't enjoy ourselves. We mentioned it, but we're ignored.

Great place for some solid pizza. The pizza makers were awesome and being playful while the kids were watching.

The ignorance was unreal. My son and I were in line waiting to pay and pickup our pizza. Pizza came over before we paid, there was a guy in front of us, who was finishing his payment. I handed my son the box and tried moving out the way for the gentleman who just paid to walk by. The “manager” jumped up at us, “YOU NEED TO PAY”. Mind you we are less than a foot from the counter while I was trying to get my credit card out. Unreal. I will never come back to this location.

As always the food was good. We didnt have a wait for a table but they had a larger group holding at the front, thier table was ready so not sure why they were not seated and were left to block the way to the hostess. It also caused one of our party to comment that there is a wait and were leaving before we made it to the hostess, so they potentially are causing people to leave with this practice and layout. The place is always busy, which is expected and great but it is so loud in there it is hard to have a conversation with those at your table. I also wasnt thrilled with the layer of dust on the shelf with the lamp at our booth.

Love that we can customize our pizza for multiple people with VERY different tastes. Food is always delicious and staff are so kind.

Simple menu only pizza and salad, gluten free crust was so good, and very chill atmosphere. You can get your pizzas half one way and half another.

We came here in March 2023. This was our 1st visit to the Webster Groves location. The atmosphere was great and the service was top notch. We really enjoyed the pizza and would come back here again the next time we are in St. Louis.

Overheard employees complaining about poor tips while I was the only patron in the store. It just felt insane that I was forced to listen to their employee chatter like I was one of them. The restaurant was dirty in the middle of the day, with no patrons I hate to imagine you busy. It was pathetic, I left immediately upon hearing the conversations among employees just ridiculous. I didn't want to give garbage employees any of my hard earned money. No thanks. Spend your money elsewhere. WAY TO EXPENSIVE FOR THAT.

Delicious pizza, friendly workers, and so much fun for the kids to watch the pizzas being made through the window. The restaurant was a little cold and the music a bit loud. Other than that everything was great. The food came out quickly and everything was clean.

Good pizza, quick, clean, will eat there again.

The food was great and the service even better!!

This has happened multiple times….. here is an example of what a Ryan’s Inferno should look like, and the slice on my plate is supposed to be the same pizza. There were so few toppings and the crust takes up half the slice. I even opened the box and showed it to the man working the register and he said “yes this is what it’s supposed to look like”. Things have really gone downhill here.

I absolutely love Dewey's food. However, the service always seems to be spotty, no matter the location. This time, my fiancé and I each ordered a half and half pizza. We ordered online and our food was supposed to take about two hours, which is okay, because you know that before you place the order. When we got there, I called to advise that I had arrived in a curbside spot for my online order. They couldn't find my name. They then said that they'd put the order in now. I gave them my order. I then went inside to show my email confirmation. The bartender was extremely rude. She wouldn't tell me how long the food may now take or what the issue was. I ordered a glass of wine to wait for my order and sat down in a chair. The manager came over and advised that they did not have any fig jam for my porky fig (with extra jam). He advised that they were running to another location to get jam and I could wait or they could make something else and that it would take 20 minutes. I decided to wait because that's my favorite pizza on the menu. He also provided a gift certificate for the price of the meal. After 25 minutes, the manager returned and apologized and advised that they hadn't received the jam yet. He bought another glass of wine for me. While waiting, a young employee asked me to get up from my seat so that he could wipe down the windows behind me. Mind you, we're still in the middle of dinner rush so I'm not sure why it had to be done then or while someone was sitting there. This was clearly a lack of social awareness. We eventually received our pizzas and they were absolutely delicious. The experience was wildly frustrating but the manager handled it as best as he could and we will return.

I should have listened to the review posted before mine about the bad service. My sister and I went in and were the only people in there besides a family of four. It started ok-ish but the restaurant floor and some tables was super dirty considering it was empty. Then we ordered and we’re waiting for our food. Apparently during that time we disappeared to the employees. They were unprofessionally talking across the restaurant complaining about how small their tip was. Then the manager? was talking so loudly my sister couldn’t hear me. We ended up leaving without eating. Too expensive for bad service.

Great pizza. My favorite is the Tito Santana. Always have good service.

I have been here a couple times in the past few months and each time, the staff have been extremely attentive and genuinely kind! The food is ALWAYS delicious and quick! I will definitely be back in the future.

Dewey's is by far the best pizza in town. I've been coming here pretty regularly for over a decade and have never been disappointed. I've never had a pizza that was overcooked or undercooked - it's always been just right. Their service is excellent, their restaurants are clean, and the pizza easily destroys the competition. Highly recommend. However, be prepared for a bit of a wait at peak times because this place gets hoppin'.

Once you have the Green Lantern, you'll understand that your life has been unfulfilled until this point. It's a celebration for the tastebuds. It is... (kisses hand)... divine. Great restaurant and the salads are great to take a pizza making course if they still offer them.

Good sit down pizza place. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. They serve coke products and have a wide variety of specialty pizzas plus an extensive list of toppings to build your own. Crust is really good. You can make any pizza half and half to split with someone or just add more variety. Really nothing on the menu except pizzas and salads. Do wish they had at least a few more options. At least some appetizers would be a great addition.

Staff was so friendly and went above and beyond. Had their seasonal side salad and a chicken/bacon/red onion with white sauce pizza on the gluten free crust and it was superb! This place knows what they're doing!

They have very good pizza but the price is kinda high and you need to wait up to 40 min but if ur with someone then I think it is worth going there

Massive plus that this is my family's neighborhood pizza place. We usually do carry out but this time we decided to dine in. We ordered the bbq chicken/ dr dre.

Being honest I avoided this place for a long time after a series of terrible food and service. Ever since the onset of the pandemic we have frequented the WG Dewey and love it. The food is great we rarely if ever have service issues and love having a place we can walk down the street to enjoy.

The house salad is consistently one of my favorite healthy meals.

Dewey's is one of my favorite pizza places around Saint Louis. As far as pizza is concerned, they have amazing pan pizza. The toppings and cheese really make the pizza. My food of choice though is really their calzones. Their cheese makes for a great calzone. Their food aside, Dewey's has a great atmosphere you can enjoy. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. Another neat thing about them is they have a wall of windows so you can see into the kitchen. It is really nice being able to see them make your food. Every once in a while you might catch one of the cooks showing off their dough kneading and tossing abilities.

Service was great and the pizza tasted amazing.

Manager was extremely rude hung up on us and told us that next time we should try calling instead of doing the online ordering

St. Louis thin is a classic staple. There are three Dewey's in the St. Louis area. There's a good selection of toppings to choose from. One can go more traditional or slightly out of the box--nothing too radical. Good, clean atmosphere with very good staff. And very delicious pizza!

Great pizza, I don't like red sauce but love pizza - Dewey accommodates me with "white" sauce - olive oil with garlic. I go crazy and get all three (three!) kind of olives and extra cheese.

What really made this experience for me (being from Michigan) is Travis, the manager. He had the BEST attitude, the biggest smile, and all around he was the most friendly person. You don't find customer service like this very often and with the very friendly staff and manager experience, it was amazing. Food was great and staff was great! Would definitely go again anytime I am in town.

Great food and a fun environment in a nice location. It's hard to beat the taste of Dewey's pizza. If you've never been here then you should check it out. If you have been here before, then you've likely already been back. It's good! The menu is really rather simple, nothing crazy, but you can customize pizzas the way you like or split them half/half even with different sauces on each side. Beer and wine and some simple desserts.

This is my favorite pizza place. Their staff is thoughtful and responsive to each detail. It's kid-friendly. And the food quality is excellent. I highly recommend!

Dewey's Pizza is... fine. It's just overpriced for ok pizza. I feel like they haven't updated their menu in YEARS. I wish they had some kind of appetizers. Maybe a monthly special? Garlic Knots. Anything.

Only bother dining in. I ordered takeout online and I showed up when the online order should have been ready.(1.5 hours after ordering...)Then I had to wait an extra 20 while people who came to dine in at the same time got their pizza before me. Its great pizza, service is just faster if you dine in since they obviously prioritize.

Love this place, I think they are the best pizza spot in STL City and County combined. They have a variety of already pre-selected options and you have the option to create-your-own pizza as well. Their salads are delicious! Very family oriented place.

The pizza was good but not spectacular. The crust was very good. For me the toppings could have been a bit more plentiful. They were tasty but not enough. Maybe a bit picky but that is my opinion. The service was good and the atmosphere was fun. I would recommend eating here but it is not the best pizza I have had.
