You can get pizza by the slice and it has always been just right for me.

Perfect pizza and noticed 2 excellent employees who really knew how to make customers feel welcome!

Shrinking portions with increased prices. Why only a small handful of chips? Food wasn't that good today. Not sure why.

I'm so glad they opened a Dion's in the South Valley... My daughters & I are in there often for after school munchies & we really like this location, it's a good place for students to gather after school, seeing how it's so close to Atrisco Heritage Academy H.S. . So far we haven't had a bad experience or any complaints with their service.

Bad experience all around. The manager missed an entire meal when we ordered. After we ordered it took 20 min to get our order which was supposed to be 2 slice combos and a roast beef sandwich. 20 min later out comes 1 slice combo and a roast beef sandwich. They got the drinks right though. After I went up and said you missed part of our order and the lady that rang us up told the girl ring it in and I already paid for the drink separate from the combo and I asked how long will it be and was told 10 minutes. We were already there for 20 without food. I expressed why would you charge me for a mistake that you made I asked to speak to a manager and apparently the one that made the mistake was the manager. So I made sure my girlfriend and mom got their food first and waited impatiently for my slice. Anyhow the pizza isn't the same as it used to be. I don't recommend taking family here for the first time. I doubt they will be impressed.

I know everyone loves their pizza, but have you tried their subs? It's totally worth the try. I learned that I like gal dressing on mine. Service was great, and so we're the subs.

The food was great. The only problem was that the table and seat were dirty and I had to clean it myself. That seemed weird 😕 but I wanted to dine in.

Place was super slow, and still took a long time to get our food. Bathrooms were a mess and tables have not been wiped down. Even the napkins were out…

Great place to go for pizza and salads. I love the pizza here because it is not greasy and healthy tasting. The salads are huge so be prepared!

As a former Dion’s employee this store location is NOT up to dion standards!!! To begin, my order took 50 minutes after a promised 20 minutes!!! The only reason I got it is because I went up to ask for it and found out it was sitting out on the serving counter getting cold. To make it worse it was the worst pizza I have ever had from Dion’s. Not to mention the 4 employees that passed me by before offering to provide assistance. The atmosphere was disappointing. No forks, napkins, or plates available, and fly’s. This store does NOT represent the Dion’s values. NO “fast and friendly service.” NO clean and comfortable location.” I will definitely be sticking to the location on coors and Montaño! The service is astronomically different!

Pizza was very bad quality. Order arrived very late. Over 40 minutes To get our food, my friend got a pizza waited 50 minutes utterly horrible. Didn’t call our name when our food was ready. They don’t know how to spell any names, including Michael. Very horrible. Waited at the service counter for a while and they looked at me and didn’t help me. Don’t waste your money or your time here. Go to Dion’s in Coors on montano much better.

Very disappointing that an established local favorite is loosing touch with the qualities and values that built their business is being lost in their current practices. There are other local pizza chain restaurants that value our local patrons. Dion's is not so big that miss our monies. But just maybe if enough of us look to other local chains. It might make Dion's change their current way of thinking.

The staff is fun and helpful. Don't be afraid to ask for a drink refill or let the little ones watch the pizzas being made through the observation window.

I live in Florida now, and absolutely have to get the pastrami sandwich every time I come back to visit! The Greek dressing is amazing!!!!

I moved to Texas a year ago and have missed Dions..came back to NM to visit and Dions was on my list of food I missed..love Dions!!!

Salad only had one piece of ham, only two tomatoes and the salad tasted like they didn't wash it.

If your not from New Mexico... Don't even think of ordering from anywhere else. I know people that purchase take-home kits and have them mailed to them in other states. Hands down the best pizza I've ever had. Been eating here since highschool. That was in the 90's. Like I said at the beginning. Looking for pizza, subs,salad, cheese bread? You found it, and don't forget the ranch...... As a matter of fact, I just found dinner for tonight. 😁🔥💯

The food at Dions is exceptionally good. The sole criticism I have is the necessity for enhanced cleanliness. The one located in the South Valley requires some additional care.

Edit February 2024: The dine in was closed when I first wrote this, but it is now open after the Pandemic closed it. Pizza there is always the same good taste, always very good. Order ahead with the phone app or website. Good parking out front, or drive through. Dine in is closed. Drive through line gets held up sometimes, best is to wait out front.

Worst "pizza" in the nation! I've eaten pizza in almost every state. Dion's is just nasty. How can this trash be considered "best in burque?" People have had their taste buds destroyed by garbage. Want a far better pizza? Go to Saggio's, Pizza Castle or Even Little Ceasars! All have better pizza than Dion's. Don't settle for the corporate "S" Shingle and treat yourself like you deserve. Once you find the better Pizza shops. You'll never go back!

We all get sick, we get the stomach flu.

Always yummy!!! Veggie sub, which also has green chile!, delicioso!!! Add turkey to this veggie sub for a perfect sandwich. We ordered it on wheat bread. Ate in for a change and everything was clean and pleasant. The staff is extremely pleasant and accommodating. You order at counter, pick up your food and bus your own table. Still, I'd take a date here. 🙂

Worst experience they won't replace a food item they messed up on and a manager named dominic said he would replace food item and would put out name on a list to get it replaced. When the time came to get it he stated they don't put peoples name on a list to get an item replaced. Then a female manager got on the phone an said she can make it for us if we pay for it all over again. This place is a joke your better off going to papa Murphys across the street cheaper pizza an better service.

They serve raw food to customers and don’t want to make it right an tell you they ain’t going to compensate you or refund your money back

Tried really hard to eat vegan here but my salad still wound up with random pieces of feta cheese in it and none of the dressings are vegan. Ordered a slice of pizza without cheese which was tasty though!

Had to run a homeless guy out of the restaurant, he was asking women with children for money! Nobody said anything about it but me.

Everything is great. Maybe consider adding an option to order an extra crispy crust. Everything else is great! Update: Dion's reached out to me and took my review seriously. Place is always clean, friendly, and if you call in ahead of time has it ready hot and fresh. Half the pizza is gone by the time I get home lol jk, But the food is bomb

Food was good, and the workers were ok. I didn't really interact with them much, but the one thing that stood out was the trash all over the floor behind the counter!!! The dining area wasn't as bad, but it's pretty worrisome the state the kitchen was in.

Love the salads, but too much Dions mix for most of them I ask for it on the side

I ordered the Hawaiian pizza at this location. Crust was over cooked only had a few pineapples on the pizza overall ok I was hungry wasn't going to wait another 25 minutes to make a new one and I never complained about it since it was my idea to go there in the first place

I ordered a Large pizza and a side of ranch. Paid almost $30 and waited 1 hour for my order when they said it was going to be a 25 min wait, I got home and my pizza was not well cut.

This is a local staple of decent food and ok service. You counter order and then retrieve your meal later. Food was good quality, and the portions were generous. Nothing fancy and that is ok.

Good pizza, subs, and salads. The service was really good. Even though they were really busy, they made sure our orders were flowing out in a timely manner. Good Job Team!!!

Normally food is great but quality was down last time I went, sandwich was missing tomatoes and pizza wasn’t cooled down properly. Air bubbles should’ve been poked way before they got to this point. Great staff though

The lady who took our order was very kind. The wait time is not very realistic. We were told to get there in 1 hour meanwhile the pizza was ready within 40 minutes or less. The food was cold by the time we picked it up…

The food is mostly good, I like the subs. The pizza is pretty greasy. I asked for some Greek dressing, and it cost me 64 cents, which was honestly pretty annoying that they don't give out free sauce.

The review here loses points because of the cafeteria style service, bbut that's a little thing. The treasure of pizza here is incredible. Good pizza, good subs. I have to say i come here for the salads They make this spinach crunch salad - the cvrunch is a surprise. It's not like candied nuts or chow mein noodles, its edamame beans! The taste and mix of flavors in this is awesome. They make their own dressings here as well. Serious hidden treasure here.

Dions is the best for local pizza!! Very consistent......and if the get something wrong are very willing to make a new pie for you. Having said that, they have a difficult time following instructions.....we prefer our pizza uncut and although those specific instructions are always given they cant seem to get that right.

Dions is an iconic restaurant of Albuquerque that everyone visiting out of stste has to visit. I've been going here since 1990!

The quality of their food is exceptional, and without fail, every branch of the restaurant that I've visited upholds both cleanliness and a welcoming, efficient staff members. A specific instance comes to mind: at this particular Dions location, I placed an order merely 5 minutes before their official closing time. I had no clue I had made my order so close to their closing time, which left me feeling apologetic. However, the staff went above and beyond to assure me that my order was not an inconvenience. While I don't advocate for placing orders so close to closing time, I do want to emphasize the exceptional kindness and professionalism displayed by the staff in this situation.

Ordered 2 pizzas, some bread slices with cheese, 2 subs and a family sized salad. Only "problem" would be that they somehow assumed they had given us the salad along with the drinks, but they apologized instantly when asked about our salad and got it to us quickly. Very good service. Place looked clean and even had 2 cops just hanging out talking inside near the front. Assuming they were doing security work. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Put a order in for 5:15 they completely forgot to make it when I came to pick it up 5:40. Had to wait another 20 minutes for 4 slices of pizza. Don't do online ordering here 😒

Delicious food, but be careful with the subs. The bread is nearly rock hard i literally cut my mouth open taking a bite.

Had a great experience, my party and I arrived a little on the late side at night, a few minutes before close. Service was just as good as if it was at lunch time. Staff as always, was absolutely wonderful, my party and I will be going back due to the excellent service.

Love there Chef salad. Only thing I get from there but it's the perfect size of a healthy meal.

Dions is great pizza. It's not to expensive and it tatse pretty good for the price you pay. The restaurant also has this sorta quaint atmosphere to it. Compact but not suffocating.

Truly an Angel works at the rio bravo Dion's and her name is Sydney. I met her at drive up and she deserves recognition for her highly customer service she gives. She deserves something extra, she is truly an extraordinary person and you're very lucky to have her working there. Big kudos kudos kudos to Sydney

Absolutely love Dion’s for lunch! For $10 I can get a half sized Greek salad and a slice of pepperoni pizza. I’ve never had a salad in which the greens or veggies were slimy or wilting. For the most part it’s always fresh and for $7 it’s a great filling portion. They’ve definitely gotten better with the pizza it used to be more oily but that’s gotten better not sure if they changed something about the process. Either way the pizza is delicious and one of the best places for lunch. I would say it’s always better to call it in or order 30mins. Before because that location gets incredibly busy.

Dion's is the best. If you want pizza or anything else, go there. Sure, you'll spend money there but it's worth it.

It was great, except there were like big seeds in the sandwich. They were super hard and not edible, I don't know if that's part of the recipe. There were no fudge brownies either, but they were kind enough to offer a cookie instead. Love pizza from Dion's, best taste

Subs are awesome. Pizza especially the KC BBQ and DUKE CITY are great! My fave is the garlic cheese toast. It could sub for ANY MEAL...love it all!!!

ALWAYS great food. Cashiers are beautiful 😁 and have always been very nice and professional. Service with a smile every time!! 4/11/23 Took the family to eat her again and it was great as always. Although this time there was a employee( Joseph ) I believe was his name, that was really awesome. He was extremely nice. He got anything we needed so we didn't have to leave our seat. He was great. I know most people wouldn't care for this but we stopped him before we left and handed him a good tip, he was so happy he gave the whole family a hug. It was nice to see someone appreciate the small things. We all left really happy to have met him. Thanks for the experience, it's really rare these days. Thank you again!

They have people taking orders that don't know what they are doing ask for Arnold Palmer with sweet tea n she said we don't have the told the ex pepperoni n they didn't put ex pepperoni n they didn't even cut the pizza all the way I had 2 cut it myself

You can't go wrong with Dion's pizza and salad. Our experience was awesome! Food preparation was speedy, the staff was professional and the building was very clean. I will definitely be back.
